Trophy: Mercy
Don't kill the guard on the docks
Type: Gold
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Spare the guard at the docks during Chapter 4: Protector's Duty. You'll encounter this trophy opportunity midway through the chapter while navigating the harbor with Lucas. During the dock section, you'll need to use Amicia's sling and alchemical ammunition to make your way through an area filled with rats. Eventually, a soldier will emerge from a nearby building after noticing Amicia's actions. Rather than immediately attacking, the soldier offers to help you navigate the docks by clearing a path through the rats. Accept his assistance and continue through the area normally. Once Amicia and Lucas reach the far end of the dock, the guard will approach and explain that he cannot allow them to continue. He intends to take them back instead. This is where you'll need to act. The guard becomes an obstacle, but killing him will prevent you from earning the trophy. Instead, you'll need to temporarily disable him using alchemy and escape while he's distracted. Here's how to earn Mercy: 1. Progress through Chapter 4 until you reach the dock encounter involving the helpful guard. 2. Work with the guard to navigate through the rats and reach the opposite end of the dock. 3. When the guard approaches and blocks your escape, resist the temptation to attack him with lethal ammunition. 4. Equip Ignifer and fire it at the guard using your sling. 5. Immediately switch to Tar and fire it at him as well. 6. The combination will temporarily distract and incapacitate the guard, giving Amicia and Lucas an opportunity to escape. 7. Quickly run past the guard while he's distracted. 8. Head up the stairs located to his left. 9. Continue through the door at the top of the stairs without killing him. Once you've successfully escaped the encounter and left the guard alive, the Mercy trophy will unlock. You don't need to defeat the soldier, and there's no reason to remain in the area once you've created an opening. After all, the poor guy did help you get through the rats. The least you can do is let him keep breathing.
Tip
Have Ignifer and Tar ready before the confrontation so you can switch between them quickly. As soon as both have been used on the guard, sprint toward the stairs and escape through the door. Don't waste time trying to fight him or waiting for another opportunity. The goal is simply to get past him safely.
Warning
Killing the guard prevents Mercy from unlocking during that attempt. Avoid lethal attacks, even if the soldier becomes aggressive. If you accidentally kill him, restart the section before continuing. You can also return to the encounter through chapter select after finishing the story, but completing it during your first playthrough will save time.

Trophy: Old protector
Interact with all the old protector’s items in the sanctuary
Type: Gold
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Interact with all 16 of the old protector's items inside the sanctuary during Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations. This trophy takes place during the Entering the Sanctuary section, after Amicia and her companions reach the top of the mountain. After exploring the sanctuary with the Count and Countess, Sophia will lead Amicia and Hugo behind the large phoenix statue and into a private courtyard. From here, you'll explore several rooms containing objects connected to the sanctuary's history. You must examine all 16 required objects before leaving the area. Some are easy to overlook, so take your time and check each room carefully. Here are all 16 interactions in the order you'll encounter them: Room 1 – Basilius' Room (4 items) The first room contains several childhood belongings. Examine all four objects before continuing. 1. Tent – Look for the small tent inside the room and interact with it. 2. Dolls – Find the collection of dolls and examine them. 3. Bed – Approach the bed and interact with it. 4. Toy Horse – Locate the wooden toy horse and examine it. Once you've interacted with all four objects, continue into the next room. Room 2 – The Warrior's Room (4 items) This room contains items associated with a warrior. You'll need to examine another four objects. 5. Toy Chest – Find the chest containing toys and interact with it. 6. Armor Stand – Approach the displayed armor and examine it. 7. Weapons Rack – Locate the weapons displayed along the wall and interact with them. 8. Wax Tablets – Find the writing tablets and examine them. After completing these four interactions, continue through the courtyard. There are no required interactions in the courtyard, so you can proceed directly into the Alchemy Laboratory. Room 3 – Alchemy Laboratory (6 items) The laboratory contains six objects that must be examined. This room has more interactions than either of the previous rooms, so check everything carefully. An easy approach is to work counterclockwise around the room. 9. Black Powder – Find the black powder and interact with it. 10. Flasks at the Back – Examine the collection of flasks positioned toward the back of the laboratory. 11. Left-Side Flasks – Move toward the left and interact with the additional set of flasks. 12. Single Flask – Find the flask sitting on a table and examine it. 13. Athanor – Look for the alchemical furnace in the corner near the entrance and interact with it. 14. Central Laboratory Table – Approach the large table in the middle of the room where Hugo is standing and examine it. Once all six objects have been examined, continue upstairs. Room 4 – Upper Floor (2 items) The final two objects are located upstairs, in the room where Sophia is waiting. 15. Floor – Examine the markings or area on the floor near the center of the room. 16. Scrolls – Look toward the back-left corner for a shelf containing scrolls. Approach the shelf and interact with them. After examining the scrolls, the Old Protector trophy should unlock if you've completed all 16 interactions. You don't need to finish the chapter to earn the trophy.
Tip
Work through the rooms systematically, checking off each object before moving forward. The laboratory is particularly easy to rush through because it contains six separate interactions. Save the conversation with Sophia upstairs until you've examined the floor and scrolls. If you're unsure whether you've missed something, check the room again before progressing.
Warning
Do not speak to Sophia in the final upstairs room until the Old Protector trophy has unlocked. Doing so can advance the story and prevent you from examining any objects you've missed. If you leave the sanctuary without completing all 16 interactions, you'll need to revisit this section through chapter select and complete the required interactions again.

Trophy: Perfect shot
Shoot all the pine cones
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Successfully shoot every required pine cone during Hugo's throwing game in Chapter 1: Under a New Sun. Near the beginning of the chapter, Amicia and Hugo will reach a stream at the base of a castle wall. Hugo will begin throwing pine cones into the water and challenge Amicia to shoot them using her sling. The first pine cone Hugo throws is part of the introduction to the activity. It cannot be shot and will eventually float downstream and sink. Don't worry about this one, as it doesn't count toward the trophy. After the first pine cone, you'll need to successfully hit every pine cone Hugo throws into the stream. To earn the trophy: Wait for Hugo to finish throwing the first pine cone, which doesn't count toward the trophy. Equip Amicia's sling and prepare to aim at the water. Watch Hugo carefully as he throws each additional pine cone. Aim at each pine cone and shoot it before it floats too far downstream. Continue hitting every pine cone until the activity ends. If you've successfully hit every required pine cone, the Perfect Shot trophy will unlock. The challenge isn't particularly difficult, but the pine cones are small, moving targets, so you'll need to be reasonably quick and accurate.
Tip
If you're struggling to hit the pine cones before the activity ends, try switching to Narrative difficulty. This can make the sequence more forgiving. Some players have also reported that changing the game's spoken language to English or French can help when Hugo's dialogue causes the activity to end too quickly.
Warning
The Double Cradle sling upgrade can cause problems with this trophy during New Game+. If your shots aren't registering correctly, release your aim after each successful shot and aim again before firing at the next pine cone. Alternatively, replay the activity on a regular save without the upgraded sling. If you miss a pine cone, restart the section and try again. You can also revisit Chapter 1 through chapter select after completing the story.

Trophy: Perfect throw
Successfully complete all throws in the Crowns game
Type: Gold
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Successfully complete all four throws during the Crowns game in Chapter 8: A Sea of Promises. You'll encounter this optional activity shortly after arriving on the island of La Cuna, while exploring the marketplace during the Celebration of the Brighter Days section. The Crowns game involves throwing pots through four suspended rings. You'll need to successfully complete every throw to earn the trophy. Here's how to find and complete the activity: 1. Explore the marketplace near the beginning of Chapter 8 and continue speaking with the people you encounter. 2. Eventually, the guards blocking an archway near the back of the market will announce that the festivities are beginning. 3. Walk through the newly accessible archway and look toward the left side of the path. 4. Follow the steps downward until you reach a small stall where a man is inviting people to test their throwing skills. 5. Approach the stall and interact with the activity to begin the Crowns game. 6. Pick up one of the pots provided on the table. 7. Hold L2 to aim the pot toward one of the suspended rings. 8. Carefully adjust your aim until the projected landing marker rests flat against the wall behind the ring. This helps ensure that the pot travels through the opening rather than striking the ring. 9. Press R2 to throw the pot through the ring. 10. Repeat the process for the remaining three rings, making sure every throw is successful. Once all four pots have successfully passed through their targets, the Perfect Throw trophy will unlock. Completing this activity also rewards you with the Flower Crown souvenir, which contributes toward the Immortal Memories trophy. Two collectibles for the price of one little carnival game. Not bad!
Tip
Take your time aiming each throw. The trick is to position your projected landing marker on the wall behind the ring instead of aiming directly at the ring itself. If you miss, pause the game and select Restart Section to attempt the activity again without replaying the entire chapter.
Warning
All four throws must be successful to earn Perfect Throw. Missing even one prevents the trophy from unlocking during that attempt. Make sure you restart the section immediately after an unsuccessful throw, rather than finishing the activity and moving forward. If you've already left the marketplace, you can return through chapter select after completing the story.

Trophy: Explorer
Open all the secret chests
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Open all 10 secret chests scattered throughout A Plague Tale: Requiem. These chests contain valuable upgrade materials and can only be opened using knives. Unlike ordinary supply chests, secret chests are large, locked containers that consume one knife when opened. Knives are relatively rare, so avoid using them against enemies unless absolutely necessary. Secret chests appear between Chapters 3 and 13. There is no in-game list showing which individual chests you've opened, so keeping track of them as you progress is highly recommended. Here are all 10 secret chest locations, including where to find the knives needed to open them. 1. Secret Chest 1 – Chapter 3: A Burden of Blood (The Warehouse) Near the end of Chapter 3, you'll enter a large warehouse containing a wooden cart suspended from the ceiling. Look toward the opposite end of the warehouse to find the hanging cart. The secret chest is sitting on the ground directly beneath it. Before approaching the chest, look around the nearby storage area for a small wooden box containing a knife. When you're facing the secret chest, turn around to spot the box. Collect the knife, return to the chest, and open it. This first chest introduces the importance of saving knives for collectibles rather than using them during combat. 2. Secret Chest 2 – Chapter 4: Protector's Duty (Risky Itinerary) During Chapter 4, you'll reach a large wooden gate guarded by two soldiers patrolling nearby. Before passing through the gate, look for a knife embedded in the wooden structure that provides cover near the guards. There's also another knife accessible through an opening in the wall on the left. Pick up a knife before proceeding. After passing through the gate, you'll enter an area filled with rats and discover a large brazier mounted on a movable cart. Light the brazier to create a safe area, then push the cart toward the wooden wall with a ladder leaning against it. Climb the ladder to reach the elevated platform containing the secret chest. Use your knife to open it. Warning: The knife near the guards may not appear on Hard difficulty. If you're struggling to find knives, switch to an easier difficulty where possible before continuing. 3. Secret Chest 3 – Chapter 5: In Our Wake (Bridge Under Construction) During Chapter 5, you'll use a chain mechanism to cross a river while helping the boat move farther downstream. After reaching the other side, use your sling to break the chain holding the boat back. The snapping chain will damage the wooden shed you're standing inside, destroying part of its structure. Exit the shed and walk around to the back of the building. Look for a narrow opening in the wooden fence and squeeze through it. Once inside, climb the nearby ladder to reach the secret chest. If you don't have a knife, search the area beside the shed for some logs and tree stumps. A knife can be found nearby.
Tip
Save your knives for secret chests instead of using them against enemies. Several chapters contain knives specifically positioned near chest locations, so collect them whenever possible and avoid recycling them. If you miss a chest, use chapter select on your original save to return to its location. It's best to collect all 10 before starting New Game+, especially since certain knives can be harder to obtain on higher difficulties.
Warning
Secret chest progress does not carry over to New Game+. If you haven't opened all 10 chests, you'll need to finish the remaining ones through chapter select on your original save or open all 10 again in New Game+. Some knives also disappear on Hard difficulty and New Game+, making certain chests more difficult to access. On your original save, lowering the difficulty can restore those knives. Complete Explorer before starting New Game+ whenever possible. That will be our standard going forward: one Tip, one Warning, no repeated advice, and no loss of important information. Simple trophies may have neither, while complicated trophies can have longer sections when necessary.

Trophy: Herbalist
Find all flowers
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Find all 5 flowers hidden throughout A Plague Tale: Requiem. Flowers are part of Hugo's Collection and can be found in Chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, and 16. You can check which flowers you've collected by opening the Codex and selecting Hugo's Collection. Each flower has its own name, making it easier to identify anything you're missing. Here are all 5 flower locations: 1. Arrowhead – Chapter 2: Newcomers (Ignifer) Near the end of Chapter 2, Amicia and Lucas will escape the underground section of the arena using a large lift. Continue through the abandoned settlement until you reach a small vegetable garden. Lucas will notice something interesting and walk toward a flower growing nearby. Approach him and interact with the Arrowhead to collect it. This flower is particularly easy to find because Lucas practically does the searching for you. 2. Chamomile – Chapter 3: A Burden of Blood (At the Edge of the City) When you reach the Herbalist's house, don't rush inside. Instead, explore the area to the left of the building. Look for a large tree with a hanging basket suspended from one of its branches. Use your sling to shoot the attachment holding the basket in place. Once it falls, approach the basket and collect the Chamomile flower. 3. Gentian – Chapter 4: Protector's Duty (Night Work) After traveling through the underground passages, Amicia and Lucas will emerge onto a beach overlooking a busy harbor filled with boats. Instead of following the main route toward the harbor, turn right and walk along the shoreline. Keep an eye on the grassy area beside the beach. You'll discover the purple Gentian flower growing near the vegetation. Collect it before continuing toward your objective. 4. Anemone – Chapter 5: In Our Wake (Bridge Under Construction) After using the chain mechanism to help the boat travel downstream, you'll eventually reach a massive bridge that's still under construction. Before continuing beneath the bridge, look upward for a wooden walkway hanging vertically from a chain. Use your sling to shoot the chain's attachment, allowing the walkway to drop into position. Next, locate the nearby movable cart and push it toward the ledge beneath the walkway. Climb onto the cart, cross the wooden platform, and follow the rocky path upward. At the top of the cliff, beside a tree overlooking the bridge, you'll find the Anemone flower. This is probably the easiest flower to overlook because its location requires you to explore above the normal route. 5. Carnation – Chapter 16: King Hugo (Marseille) The final flower appears near the beginning of Chapter 16. Follow Lucas along the main path until you cross a small bridge. Shortly afterward, he'll move toward a flower growing beside the path on the left. Approach the flower and interact with it to collect the Carnation. If you've collected the previous four flowers, the Herbalist trophy will unlock.
Tip
Check Hugo's Collection in the Codex before starting New Game+ to identify any missing flowers. You can use chapter select on your completed save to return to their locations without replaying the entire story.
Warning
Flowers can be missed during normal progression, but none are permanently lost. Chapter select becomes available after finishing the story, allowing you to recover anything you overlooked.

Trophy: Immortal memories
Recall all souvenirs
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Find all 21 souvenirs throughout A Plague Tale: Requiem. Souvenirs are special interactions scattered across the story that capture memorable moments between Amicia and her companions. Unlike flowers and feathers, souvenirs aren't objects you simply pick up. Some involve conversations, examining unusual objects, or participating in small activities. You can check your progress by opening the Codex and selecting the Souvenirs section. Each souvenir has a unique name, making it easier to identify anything you've missed. There are 21 souvenirs spread across Chapters 2–13, with none appearing in Chapters 1, 12, or 14–17. Here are all 21 souvenir locations, including their chapter sections and the steps needed to collect them. 1. Best Player – Chapter 2: Newcomers (Arrival in the Town) Near the beginning of Chapter 2, Amicia and Lucas will explore a lively marketplace filled with merchants and townspeople. Continue through the market until you pass a woman selling flowers. Instead of following the main route, turn right into an alley containing additional merchant stalls. Follow the alley to its end, where you'll find a man operating a small game with four pots arranged on his stall. Approach the merchant and participate in his game. Completing the activity unlocks the Best Player souvenir. 2. Be at Peace – Chapter 2: Newcomers (Confrontation in the Stands) After entering the coliseum, you'll make your way through an enemy encounter before passing through a metal door. Continue forward until you reach an area containing several sick people. During this section, Amicia will comment to Lucas that people once lived here. Shortly afterward, you'll encounter a staircase that splits into two directions. Take the staircase on the right rather than following the alternative route. At the top, you'll discover a sick woman lying on the ground. Approach her and interact with her to unlock the Be at Peace souvenir. 3. A Grave – Chapter 3: A Burden of Blood (The Gate) After leaving the city, Amicia and Lucas will travel along a path leading toward several houses. Look for a house on the right with a small front yard enclosed by a wooden fence. The front gate is locked, so walk around the side of the building until you have a clear view of the gate's locking mechanism. Use your sling to break the lock and open the entrance. Return to the front of the house, enter the yard, and approach the grave. Interact with it to collect the A Grave souvenir. 4. Our Home – Chapter 3: A Burden of Blood (The Warehouse) Near the end of Chapter 3, you'll enter a large warehouse filled with wooden platforms, storage areas, and suspended equipment. Explore the warehouse's upper level and look for a wooden platform being held in position by a rope. Use your sling to shoot the rope, causing the platform to fall into place. This creates a route to an otherwise inaccessible area. Climb the nearby ladder and make your way across the platform. You'll eventually reach a table containing a map. Examine the map to unlock the Our Home souvenir. 5. Silk Treasure – Chapter 4: Protector's Duty (Night Work) During the early portion of Chapter 4, Amicia and Lucas will encounter soldiers arguing over jars. To avoid being spotted, you'll need to move along an elevated wooden walkway while the soldiers remain below. As you travel across the walkway, keep an eye on the left side for a small opening in the wall. Crouch through the opening to enter a hidden room. Inside, you'll discover a movable cart. Push the cart into position beneath the elevated platform, then climb onto it to reach the upper level. You'll find a collection of silk fabrics waiting there. Interact with the silk to unlock the Silk Treasure souvenir. 6. A Grain of Sand – Chapter 4: Protector's Duty (The Tar Workshop) After escaping the tar workshop, where you've been using fire to ignite pools of tar, you'll return outside. Follow the wooden stairs downward until you reach an area containing a torch beside a narrow opening in the wall. Don't squeeze through the opening yet. Instead, look to your right for a wooden plank being held in place by a chain. Use your sling to break the chain, allowing you to access a nearby wooden dock. Follow the dock all the way to its end. Amicia and Lucas will pause to look toward the distant castle and discuss what's happening in the city. This conversation unlocks the A Grain of Sand souvenir. 7. The Stag's Roar – Chapter 5: In Our Wake (On the River) During Chapter 5, Amicia and Lucas will become separated from the boat and travel through a forest while searching for a way to reunite with the others. As you follow the woodland path, watch for a smaller trail branching off to the right. This optional route appears before you reach the narrow opening between the rocks. Take the right-hand trail and continue into the forest. After traveling a short distance, you'll hear the unmistakable roar of a stag somewhere nearby. The sound triggers the Stag's Roar souvenir. You don't need to locate or interact with the animal. 8. Huuuugoooo! – Chapter 5: In Our Wake (On the River) Later in Chapter 5, you'll navigate an area containing several large wooden cranes. After completing this section, Amicia and Lucas will reunite. Lucas will shout toward Amicia, prompting a conversation about his enthusiastic battle cry. Once the conversation begins, look upward for a ladder suspended above the ground. Use your sling to release the ladder. Climb to the elevated platform and approach the edge. From this higher position, Amicia can call out Hugo's name. Interact with the location to unlock the Huuuugoooo! souvenir. 9. Imagine You're Flying! – Chapter 6: Leaving All Behind (A Pilgrim Road) During Chapter 6, Amicia and Hugo will reach a camp occupied by travelers. Once inside the camp, look toward the left side for a man standing outside a tent. A narrow trail leading into the forest begins beside his position. Follow this trail away from the main camp. Continue along the woodland path until you discover a swing hanging from a tree. Approach the swing and interact with it. Hugo will help Amicia enjoy a brief moment of peace by pushing her on the swing. This interaction unlocks the Imagine You're Flying! souvenir. 10. What Color Do You Want? – Chapter 6: Leaving All Behind (Call of the Rats) Later in Chapter 6, Hugo will demonstrate his ability to control the rats during a story sequence. After completing this section, continue through the building until you reach a smaller room containing a ladder. Climb the ladder to the upper floor. From there, move into the adjoining room. You'll discover several colorful fabrics that Amicia and Hugo can examine. Approach the fabrics and interact with them to trigger a short conversation. This unlocks the What Color Do You Want? souvenir. 11. The Survivor – Chapter 7: Felons (More Rats) After navigating a dangerous area containing a massive rat nest, you'll emerge onto a beach. Look to your left for the wreckage of a large ship resting along the shoreline. Walk a short distance past the wreckage. Once you've passed it, turn around and examine the nearby rocky terrain. You'll notice a small ledge that Amicia can climb. Climb onto the ledge and follow the elevated path toward the ship. Approach the shipwreck and interact with it to unlock the Survivor souvenir. If you're returning through chapter select, loading the More Rats section places you close to the location. Turn around and look for the climbable ledge. 12. The First Men – Chapter 7: Felons (The Fishing Village) As you approach the fishing village during Chapter 7, you'll travel through a coastal area surrounded by rocky cliffs. Before continuing toward the village, turn around and examine the terrain behind you. Look for a ledge that can be climbed. Follow the elevated path until you discover a cave entrance hidden in the rocks. Enter the cave and explore its interior. You'll find ancient paintings decorating the cave walls. Approach the paintings and interact with them to unlock the First Men souvenir. 13. Silent Lucinda – Chapter 8: A Sea of Promises (Celebration of the Brighter Days) At the beginning of Chapter 8, Amicia and Hugo arrive at La Cuna and begin exploring the island's lively marketplace. While moving through the market, look toward the right side for an area containing several goats. Approach the animals and find the one available for interaction. Interact with the goat to trigger a short moment involving Hugo. This unlocks the Silent Lucinda souvenir. 14. Flower Crown – Chapter 8: A Sea of Promises (Celebration of the Brighter Days) This souvenir is located in the same market area as Silent Lucinda. Continue exploring the festivities until the guards blocking an archway announce that the celebration is beginning. Pass through the archway and look to the left for a staircase leading down toward a small activity stall. A merchant will be inviting visitors to test their throwing skills. Approach the stall and participate in the Crowns game. Pick up the available pots and aim them toward the suspended rings. Hold L2 to aim, then use R2 to throw each pot through its target. Successfully completing the activity rewards you with the Flower Crown souvenir. You can also earn the Perfect Throw trophy here by successfully completing all four throws without missing. 15. A Thousand More Years – Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations (Exploration) After leaving the palace for the first time, Amicia and her companions will enter a large open area that can be explored freely. Directly ahead, you'll notice a phoenix statue standing along the main route. Approach the statue, then look toward the right. You'll see a path stretching into the distance toward a house surrounded by a low stone fence. Follow the path toward the house. Once you reach the fence, look for a small opening that allows you to enter the enclosed area. Continue beyond the house until you discover an enormous ancient tree. Approach the tree and interact with it. This unlocks the A Thousand More Years souvenir. 16. Nice Screeching – Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations (Exploration) While exploring the large open area outside the palace, look toward the left side of the landscape. You'll spot a tall stone tower resembling a small castle. Travel toward the tower and walk around to the back of the building. The entrance is locked, but you can open it by shooting the door's locking mechanism through a nearby window. Use your sling to break the lock, then enter the tower. Once inside, climb the staircases all the way to the roof. At the top, approach the edge of the tower overlooking the surrounding landscape. Interact with the viewpoint to unlock the Nice Screeching souvenir. 17. Tramontane – Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations (On the Mountain) Later in Chapter 9, you'll travel up the mountain toward the sanctuary. Along the way, you'll encounter several goats wandering near the path. Continue forward until you reach a partially destroyed brick building. The entrance is blocked by tall grass. Use a fire-based projectile to ignite the grass and clear the entrance. Once the flames have burned away the obstruction, enter the building. Inside, you'll discover a goat that can be interacted with. Approach the animal and complete the interaction to unlock the Tramontane souvenir. 18. A Rag Doll – Chapter 10: Bloodline (Approaching the Fort) During Chapter 10, you'll reach a location where Sophia is leaning against a wall. Hugo will approach her and begin apologizing during a short conversation. After this interaction, enter the nearby building. Once inside, look toward the left for a wooden post that provides a suitable position for using your crossbow. From this location, aim toward the wooden planks blocking access to an elevated section on the opposite side of the building. Use your crossbow to destroy the obstruction. Once the planks have been removed, follow the newly accessible route and climb into the upper area. Continue toward the nearby tree. At its base, you'll discover a small rag doll. Examine the doll to unlock the A Rag Doll souvenir. If you're using chapter select, loading Approaching the Fort allows you to turn around and enter the building containing the collectible. 19. The Chateau d'Ombrage – Chapter 11: The Cradle of Centuries (Defence System) During Chapter 11, you'll reach an enormous underground chamber containing a large stone platform surrounded by rats. Three large braziers are positioned throughout the area. Focus on the brazier located on the right side. Push it backward as far as possible to reposition the light source. Once the brazier is in place, throw Tar into its flames to temporarily increase the size of the fire. The stronger light will force the nearby rats away from the area behind the brazier. Use this opportunity to drop onto the previously inaccessible lower platform. Look for a table containing an old map. Approach the table and examine the map to unlock the Chateau d'Ombrage souvenir. 20. His Toys – Chapter 11: The Cradle of Centuries (Aelia) After collecting the previous souvenir, you'll eventually cross a massive bridge and enter another underground chamber. Inside, you'll discover an enormous door secured by several sliding locks. Before working on the main door, look toward the right side of the chamber. You'll find a smaller locked door with a narrow opening in the wall beside it. Approach the opening and instruct Hugo to crawl through. He'll enter the room from the other side and unlock the door for you. Once the entrance is open, go inside. You'll discover several toys scattered around the room. Interact with them to unlock the His Toys souvenir. 21. A Mess – Chapter 13: Nothing Left (Grief) The final souvenir appears near the beginning of Chapter 13. As you progress through the ruined area, you'll encounter a hallway blocked by a movable cart. Pull the cart backward to clear the passage. Continue into the next room. Once inside, look toward the right wall for another cart positioned against it. Instead of continuing forward, move this second cart away from the wall. Doing so reveals an entrance to a concealed room. Enter the hidden area and look for a desk covered with scattered papers. Approach the desk and examine the documents to collect the A Mess souvenir. If you've collected all 20 previous souvenirs, the Immortal Memories trophy will unlock.
Tip
Use the Codex to track your souvenirs and compare the names against this guide before beginning New Game+. Several souvenirs are close to other collectibles, so collecting everything together during your first playthrough can save considerable time. If you miss anything, chapter select lets you revisit individual sections without restarting the entire story.
Warning
Many souvenirs require optional interactions that are easy to walk past, particularly when the main story is encouraging you to move forward. Some involve entering hidden rooms, climbing optional paths, or completing small activities. If you leave an area without triggering its souvenir, you may need to return through chapter select. Souvenir progress carries over to New Game+, but completing the collection during your first playthrough is the simplest approach.

Trophy: Ornithologist
Find all feathers
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect all 7 feathers scattered throughout A Plague Tale: Requiem. Feathers are introduced in Chapter 6 and become part of Hugo's Collection alongside the flowers. You can track your collected feathers through the Codex under Hugo's Collection. There is one feather in each of Chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13. Here are all 7 feather locations: 1. Jay – Chapter 6: Leaving All Behind (Towards the Sea) At the beginning of Chapter 6, Amicia and Hugo will run together through a beautiful field of flowers. Continue following Hugo until he stops beside a large tree, where he discovers some feathers lying on the ground. Approach him and interact with the feathers to collect the Jay. This first feather is mandatory for story progression, so you don't need to worry about missing it. 2. Black Headed Gull – Chapter 7: Felons (Arrival at the Beach) Near the beginning of Chapter 7, Amicia and Hugo will descend a hill toward a beach filled with seagulls. Hugo will excitedly chase the birds along the shoreline. Follow him until he stops farther down the beach. Look to your left for a small wooden fishing hut. Enter the hut and check the mattress for a knife. Keep this knife because you'll need it to open a secret chest later in the chapter. Once you've collected the knife, climb through the window on the left side of the hut. Outside, follow the short path uphill until you reach the Black Headed Gull feather. 3. Black Kite – Chapter 8: A Sea of Promises (Celebration of the Brighter Days) Shortly after arriving on La Cuna, you'll enter a lively market filled with merchants and people celebrating. Explore the back-left section of the marketplace. Look for a woman standing near a group of people sitting on stone steps. Walk past the woman and head toward the small tree growing behind the group. The Black Kite feather is lying on the ground beside the tree. Pick it up before continuing through the market. 4. Barn Owl – Chapter 9: Tales and Revelations (Entering the Sanctuary) While climbing the mountain toward the sanctuary, Amicia and her companions will need to sneak past several enemies through areas covered in tall grass. Eventually, you'll enter a partially destroyed stone tower containing a spiral staircase. Instead of following the normal route through the tower, climb the spiral staircase all the way to the top. At the upper level, look for a ledge you can climb onto. Follow the narrow path along the ridge until you reach its end, where you'll discover the Barn Owl feather overlooking the surrounding landscape. Be sure to explore the upper level before continuing toward the sanctuary. 5. Raven – Chapter 10: Bloodline (The Old Temple) During Chapter 10, you'll reach a section where Amicia uses a large metal chandelier to break through a set of doors. Once you've opened the way, continue down the stone steps. You'll notice a stone pathway leading forward and a grassy route branching off to the left. Ignore the main path for now and follow the grassy route. Continue along the left side until you reach a point where you can drop down onto a rocky cliff overlooking the water. Follow the cliffside path to its end to discover the Raven feather. This is another collectible that's easy to miss if you're focused entirely on the main objective. 6. European Goldfinch – Chapter 11: The Cradle of Centuries (Byzantine Technology) While exploring the underground ruins, you'll reach a metal door that Sophia helps you open by positioning an explosive tank in front of it. Launch a fire projectile at the tank to trigger an explosion and destroy the door. Enter the newly accessible room. Instead of immediately following the main route, examine the back-right corner of the room. You'll discover another explosive tank partially concealed behind wooden planks. Ignite this second tank to destroy the nearby wall and reveal a hidden room. Enter the opening and collect the European Goldfinch feather.
Tip
After collecting the feather, continue into the next area and look for a knife embedded in a skeleton's skull. Save it for a secret chest you'll encounter later in the chapter. 7. Greylag Goose – Chapter 13: Nothing Left (Ruined Village) During Chapter 13, you'll fight your way through the ruined village before reaching a section where Amicia drops from a wooden balcony. After landing, you'll notice an archway decorated with flowers directly ahead. Before going through the arch, turn left and pick up the knife lying nearby. You'll need it to open the final secret chest. Now pass through the flower-covered archway. Enter the building on the left and look toward the right side for a movable cart. Push the cart backward toward the doorway you entered through, positioning it so you can climb onto the upper floor. Climb onto the cart and reach the elevated platform. You'll find the Greylag Goose feather on the upper floor. If you've collected the previous six feathers, the Ornithologist trophy will unlock. Tip: The final secret chest is located in the same upper area as the Greylag Goose feather. Make sure you open it while you're here, especially if you've been collecting every chest throughout the story.
Warning
Most feathers are found along optional paths that branch away from the main story route. If you miss one, you can return using chapter select after finishing the game. You don't need to replay the entire story to complete the collection.

Trophy: Fighter
Fully improve the Aggressive skills
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Aggressive skill path by eliminating most or all enemies during qualifying combat encounters. Aggressive is one of Amicia's three skill paths and becomes available during Chapter 2 alongside Prudence and Opportunism. Unlike Prudence, which rewards avoiding unnecessary kills, Aggressive requires you to take a more direct approach. Your progression depends primarily on how many enemies you eliminate in an encounter, not which weapon you use. The easiest way to gain Aggressive experience is to eliminate every enemy in an area before moving forward. To earn Aggressive experience consistently: Enter an encounter and identify the enemies patrolling the area. Use your Sling, Crossbow, alchemical ammunition, and environmental hazards to eliminate guards. Pay particular attention to armored enemies, who may require alternative methods. Eliminate the required majority of enemies before leaving the encounter. Continue using this approach until you've fully upgraded the Aggressive skill path. Here are some example encounters and the number of kills required for Aggressive progression: Chapter 2 – Confrontation in the Stands: 4–5 kills out of 5 enemies. Chapter 2 – Gladiators: 5–7 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 3 – At the Edge of the City: 5–7 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 3 – At the Herbalist: 5–7 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 4 – The Mass Grave of the Marshes: 9–13 kills out of 13 enemies. Chapter 6 – The Ochres: 6–8 kills out of 8 enemies. Chapter 7 – The Fishing Village: 6–8 kills out of 8 enemies. Chapter 10 – Approaching the Fort: 8–12 kills out of 12 enemies. Chapter 13 – Ruined Village: 6–9 kills out of 9 enemies. A fully upgraded Crossbow makes this considerably easier, particularly when dealing with armored soldiers. The Reinforced Bolts upgrade allows Amicia to recover Crossbow bolts from defeated enemies, reducing the amount of ammunition you'll need. You can also take advantage of the environment by setting tall grass on fire, extinguishing enemy torches near rats, or using alchemical combinations to eliminate groups of guards. Once the Aggressive skill path is fully upgraded, the Fighter trophy will unlock.
Tip
New Game+ is an excellent opportunity to work on Aggressive because your equipment upgrades carry over. Prioritize a fully upgraded Crossbow, especially Reinforced Bolts, so you can recover ammunition from defeated enemies. If you're struggling to eliminate armored soldiers, lure them near environmental hazards or use fire to deal with them.
Warning
Killing only a few enemies during an encounter may award Prudence or Opportunism experience instead of Aggressive. Aim to eliminate every enemy whenever possible, especially in encounters containing only a small number of guards. You'll likely need New Game+ to fully upgrade all three skill paths, so don't worry if Fighter remains unfinished when you complete the main story.

Trophy: Malignant
Fully improve the Opportunism skills
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Opportunism skill path by eliminating a moderate number of enemies during qualifying encounters. Opportunism is arguably the most confusing of Amicia's three skills because its description suggests that using alchemy and environmental tactics is the key to leveling it. However, the primary factor is actually how many enemies you kill during an encounter. To gain Opportunism experience, you generally need to eliminate between one-third and two-thirds of the enemies in an area. It doesn't matter whether you use your Sling, Crossbow, alchemy, or environmental hazards. You can also be detected without preventing Opportunism progression. The challenge is finding the right balance between killing too few enemies, which rewards Prudence, and killing too many, which rewards Aggressive. To earn Opportunism experience consistently: Enter a qualifying enemy encounter and determine approximately how many guards are present. Choose which enemies you want to eliminate. Kill roughly half of the enemies in the encounter. Avoid eliminating additional enemies once you've reached the required amount. Sneak or move past the remaining guards to reach the next area. Here are the exact kill requirements for Opportunism in the qualifying encounters: 1. Chapter 2 – Confrontation in the Stands: Kill 2–3 enemies out of 5. 2. Chapter 2 – Gladiators: Kill 3–4 enemies out of 7. 3. Chapter 3 – At the Edge of the City: Kill 3–4 enemies out of 7. 4. Chapter 3 – At the Herbalist: Kill 3–4 enemies out of 7. 5. Chapter 4 – The Mass Grave of the Marshes: Kill 5–8 enemies out of 13. 6. Chapter 6 – The Connection: Kill 3–4 enemies out of 7. 7. Chapter 6 – The Ochres: Kill 3–5 enemies out of 8. 8. Chapter 6 – Hunting Lesson: Kill 4–7 enemies out of 11. 9. Chapter 7 – The Combat According to Arnaud: Kill 7–12 enemies out of 20. 10. Chapter 7 – The Fishing Village: Kill 3–5 enemies out of 8. 11. Chapter 10 – Slavers: Kill 5–7 enemies out of 12. 12. Chapter 10 – Approaching the Fort: Kill 5–7 enemies out of 12. 13. Chapter 10 – In the Courtyard: Kill 4–5 enemies out of 9. 14. Chapter 13 – Fresh Air: Kill 3–5 enemies out of 8. 15. Chapter 13 – Ruined Village: Kill 4–5 enemies out of 9. For example, during Confrontation in the Stands in Chapter 2, there are five enemies. Killing two or three before leaving should reward Opportunism experience. Killing one or none would favor Prudence, while eliminating four or five would favor Aggressive. One important exception is Chapter 9's Entering the Sanctuary encounter. According to the supplied guide, this encounter contributes toward Prudence rather than offering the normal choice between all three skills. You won't be able to fully upgrade all three skill paths during a single normal playthrough. Fortunately, New Game+ carries over your existing skill progress, allowing you to continue developing Opportunism while keeping your previous upgrades. Once you've fully upgraded Opportunism, the Malignant trophy will unlock.
Tip
Try to eliminate approximately half the enemies in each qualifying encounter, then leave the remaining guards alive. You don't need to rely exclusively on alchemy, so use whichever weapons and tactics make the encounter easiest. If you finish Opportunism during New Game+, you can return to an earlier chapter using chapter select and continue progressing toward your remaining skill trophies.
Warning
The number of enemies you eliminate matters more than how creatively you eliminate them. Killing too few or too many will award experience toward a different skill path. Not every encounter contributes skill experience, so focus on the larger combat sections listed above. Your skill progress carries into New Game+, but you'll need enough qualifying encounters to finish all three paths.

Trophy: Sneaky
Fully improve the Prudence skills
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Prudence skill path by completing enemy encounters while killing as few enemies as possible. Prudence is one of Amicia's three skill paths, alongside Aggressive and Opportunism. You'll unlock skill progression during Chapter 2, when Lucas explains how your actions during encounters affect Amicia's abilities. You can check your skill progress at any time by pressing the Touch Pad and opening the skills menu. Prudence is based on the percentage of enemies you kill during qualifying encounters. To gain Prudence experience, you generally need to eliminate fewer than one-third of the enemies in an area. You don't have to remain completely undetected. Getting spotted won't automatically prevent you from earning Prudence experience, provided you keep your kill count low enough. The easiest approach is to sneak through encounters without killing anyone. To earn Prudence experience consistently: Enter an enemy encounter and observe the guards before making your move. Look for routes through tall grass, behind obstacles, or around patrols. Use distractions, such as throwing rocks or pots, to move enemies away from your intended path. Avoid killing enemies unless absolutely necessary. Reach the end of the encounter while keeping your total kills below the Prudence threshold. Here are some example encounters and their maximum permitted kills for Prudence progression: Chapter 2 – Confrontation in the Stands: 0–1 kills out of 5 enemies. Chapter 2 – Gladiators: 0–2 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 3 – At the Edge of the City: 0–2 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 3 – At the Herbalist: 0–2 kills out of 7 enemies. Chapter 4 – The Mass Grave of the Marshes: 0–4 kills out of 13 enemies. Chapter 6 – The Ochres: 0–2 kills out of 8 enemies. Chapter 7 – The Fishing Village: 0–2 kills out of 8 enemies. Chapter 10 – Approaching the Fort: 0–4 kills out of 12 enemies. Chapter 13 – Ruined Village: 0–3 kills out of 9 enemies. These numbers provide a useful reference when you're unsure whether eliminating another guard will change which skill receives experience. Once you've fully upgraded Prudence, the Sneaky trophy will unlock.
Tip
Focus on Prudence during your first playthrough when you're still learning enemy patrols and environmental layouts. Once it's fully upgraded, switch to Aggressive or Opportunism to avoid wasting encounters on a skill you've already completed. Your skill progress carries into New Game+, so you don't need to finish Prudence before completing the story.
Warning
Not every enemy encounter contributes toward skill progression. The larger encounters that allow you to restart the checkpoint rather than only the section are the ones worth focusing on. Completing the story without fully upgrading Prudence isn't a problem, but you'll need additional qualifying encounters in New Game+ to finish the skill.

Trophy: Night guard
Extinguish 40 fires
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Extinguish 40 fires throughout the game using Extinguis ammunition. You'll unlock Extinguis during Chapter 3 as part of the main story. This alchemical ammunition allows Amicia to extinguish burning light sources, including torches and other fires. Extinguishing flames is useful for navigating certain environmental puzzles and dealing with enemies who rely on torches to protect themselves from rats. To earn this trophy: Progress through Chapter 3 until you unlock Extinguis ammunition. Locate burning light sources during your journey. Equip Extinguis using the ammunition selection menu. Fire Extinguis at a suitable flame to extinguish it. Repeat until you've extinguished 40 fires. The trophy tracks your progress cumulatively, so you don't need to extinguish all 40 fires in a single chapter or encounter. You'll have plenty of opportunities to make progress naturally while solving environmental puzzles and navigating enemy areas.
Tip
Whenever an enemy is carrying a torch in an area containing rats, consider using Extinguis to put out their flame. This can leave them vulnerable to the rats while also contributing toward Night Guard. Just make sure you're not extinguishing the only light source keeping Amicia safe. The rats aren't particularly interested in helping you earn trophies.

Trophy: Alchemist
Craft 100 ammunitions
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Craft 100 pieces of alchemical ammunition throughout the game. You'll learn to craft ammunition during Chapter 2, beginning with Ignifer. As you progress through the story, you'll unlock additional ammunition types that can be created using materials collected from the environment. The following ammunition types count toward this trophy: Ignifer – Used to ignite fires and light sources. Extinguis – Used to extinguish flames. Tar – Used to strengthen fires and manipulate light. Odoris – Used to attract rats. To craft ammunition, hold R1 to open the weapon selection wheel. Use the directional controls to select the ammunition type you want to create, then hold X to craft it. You can also access crafting through the inventory menu by pressing the Touch Pad. Every piece of ammunition you craft contributes toward the total of 100. The requirement is cumulative, meaning you can work toward it throughout your adventure rather than crafting everything at once. Since crafting ammunition is essential for many puzzles and combat encounters, this trophy should unlock naturally during your first playthrough, often around Chapters 5–7.
Tip
There's no need to waste materials crafting ammunition just for this trophy. Keep collecting resources and craft Ignifer, Extinguis, Tar, and Odoris whenever you need them. You'll likely reach 100 well before finishing the story, leaving your remaining materials available for more important situations.

Trophy: Effective instruments
Fully upgrade the instruments
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Instruments equipment category by purchasing all three available upgrades. Equipment upgrades become available in Chapter 3. Instruments is one of the most useful categories to complete early because its upgrades make crafting and improving equipment considerably easier. To fully upgrade Instruments, you'll need a total of 175 Pieces and 6 Tools. Pieces can be collected from supply containers and chests scattered throughout the game. Here are the three required upgrades: 1. Recycling Tool – 30 Pieces and 1 Tool Allows Amicia to recycle certain items when her inventory is full, converting them into Pieces that can be used for equipment upgrades. This applies to items such as jars, knives, pyrites, and Crossbow bolts. 2. Traveller Tools – 55 Pieces and 2 Tools Allows Amicia to upgrade her equipment from anywhere instead of requiring a workbench. Once unlocked, you can purchase available upgrades directly through the equipment menu whenever you have enough materials. 3. Unbreakable Tool – 90 Pieces and 3 Tools Removes the Tool requirement when purchasing equipment upgrades. You'll still need Pieces, but you won't have to search for additional Tools to improve your equipment. Once you've purchased all three upgrades, the Effective Instruments trophy will unlock.
Tip
Make Instruments your first fully upgraded equipment category. Traveller Tools saves you from constantly searching for workbenches, while Unbreakable Tool removes Tool costs from every remaining upgrade category. Prioritizing these upgrades makes earning Not a Toy Anymore, Improved Crossbow, Handful of Pockets, and Pocket Laboratory considerably easier.

Trophy: Handful of pockets
Fully upgrade the gear
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Gear equipment category by purchasing all three available upgrades. Gear upgrades increase how many supplies Amicia can carry, making exploration and resource management more convenient. You'll need a total of 175 Pieces and 6 Tools to complete the category, unless you've already unlocked the final Instruments upgrade that eliminates Tool requirements. Here are the three required upgrades: 1. Ringed Belt – 30 Pieces and 1 Tool Allows Amicia to carry one additional jar. Jars are useful for distracting enemies, creating light sources, and delivering alchemical ammunition during encounters. 2. Bottomless Bag – 60 Pieces and 2 Tools Increases the amount of alchemical resources Amicia can carry. This allows you to gather more crafting materials before reaching your inventory limits, helping you stay prepared for longer encounters. 3. Belt Cases – 85 Pieces and 3 Tools Increases the number of knives and pyrites Amicia can carry. Additional knife capacity is especially useful when collecting secret chests, while extra pyrites give you more emergency options when dealing with rats. After unlocking all three Gear upgrades, the Handful of Pockets trophy will unlock.
Tip
Belt Cases is a particularly useful upgrade if you're working toward Explorer, which requires opening all 10 secret chests. Since each chest consumes a knife, being able to carry additional knives reduces the risk of leaving one behind because your inventory is full. Remember that Gear upgrades carry over into New Game+, so you don't need to finish the entire category during your first playthrough.

Trophy: Improved crossbow
Fully upgrade the crossbow
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade Amicia's Crossbow by purchasing all three upgrades in the Crossbow equipment category. The Crossbow becomes available through story progression and is one of Amicia's most powerful weapons, particularly when dealing with heavily armored enemies. You'll need 175 Pieces and 6 Tools to purchase every upgrade, unless you've unlocked the final Instruments upgrade that removes Tool requirements. Here are the three required upgrades: 1. Flexible Limb – 40 Pieces and 1 Tool Increases Amicia's Crossbow reload speed, allowing you to fire additional bolts more quickly during combat. This is especially helpful when multiple enemies are approaching and you don't have much time to react. 2. Bigger Quiver – 55 Pieces and 2 Tools Increases the number of Crossbow bolts Amicia can carry. Having additional ammunition gives you more flexibility during longer encounters and reduces the need to conserve every shot. 3. Reinforced Bolts – 80 Pieces and 3 Tools Allows Amicia to recover Crossbow bolts from enemies she has killed. After shooting an enemy with a bolt, approach the body and retrieve the ammunition when possible. This makes the Crossbow considerably more useful throughout the rest of the game. Once all three upgrades have been purchased, the Improved Crossbow trophy will unlock.
Tip
Reinforced Bolts is particularly valuable when working toward the Fighter trophy, which requires fully upgrading the Aggressive skill path. Being able to recover bolts allows you to eliminate more enemies without constantly running out of ammunition. Consider prioritizing this upgrade if you plan to focus on aggressive encounters during New Game+.

Trophy: Not a toy anymore
Fully upgrade the sling
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade Amicia's Sling by purchasing all three upgrades in the Sling equipment category. Equipment upgrades become available in Chapter 3. You'll need to collect Pieces, which are found in supply containers and chests throughout the game, along with Tools that are used at workbenches. To fully upgrade the Sling, you'll need a total of 175 Pieces and 6 Tools, unless you've already unlocked the Instruments upgrade that removes Tool requirements. Here are the three required upgrades: 1. Softened Cords – 20 Pieces and 1 Tool This upgrade reduces the noise Amicia makes when using her sling, making it easier to attack or manipulate objects without drawing unwanted attention. 2. Double Cradle – 65 Pieces and 2 Tools Adds a second cradle to Amicia's sling, allowing her to fire twice before needing to reload. This is particularly useful during combat encounters where you need to hit multiple targets quickly. 3. Elongated Cords – 90 Pieces and 3 Tools Increases the power of rocks fired from the sling, allowing them to stun enemies for longer periods. Once you've purchased all three upgrades, the Not a Toy Anymore trophy will unlock.
Tip
Upgrade Instruments before investing heavily in the Sling. The final Instruments upgrade removes Tool costs, making equipment upgrades much easier. If you want to earn several upgrade trophies quickly, you can also save at least 175 Pieces, purchase all three upgrades in one category, then restart the checkpoint before the game saves. If done correctly, you'll keep the trophy while recovering your Pieces. Repeat this for other equipment categories, but be careful not to let the game save before restarting.

Trophy: Pocket laboratory
Fully upgrade the alchemy
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Fully upgrade the Alchemy equipment category by purchasing all three available upgrades. Alchemy upgrades improve Amicia's ammunition capacity and make certain alchemical combinations more effective against enemies. You'll need a total of 175 Pieces and 6 Tools to complete this category, unless you've already unlocked Unbreakable Tool from the Instruments category. Here are the three required upgrades: 1. Hidden Pockets – 30 Pieces and 1 Tool Increases the amount of alchemical ammunition Amicia can carry. This allows you to prepare additional ammunition before entering combat encounters or areas containing large groups of rats. 2. Strong Fire – 65 Pieces and 2 Tools Allows Amicia to kill enemies by combining a jar with Ignifer. This provides another way to eliminate enemies during combat, especially when you need an alternative to your Sling or Crossbow. 3. Unstable Reaction – 80 Pieces and 3 Tools Causes Odoris to explode when it comes into contact with fire. The resulting explosion can kill unarmored enemies, giving you another offensive option when dealing with groups of opponents. After purchasing all three Alchemy upgrades, the Pocket Laboratory trophy will unlock.
Tip
If you're saving materials for several equipment trophies, consider collecting at least 175 Pieces before purchasing your final upgrades. You can potentially earn multiple equipment trophies using the same materials by fully upgrading one category, earning its trophy, and immediately restarting the checkpoint before the upgrade is saved. This only works if you restart before the game records your purchases, so avoid relying on it without checking your save state.

Start your journey through A Plague Tale: Requiem on whichever difficulty you prefer. There are no difficulty-related trophies, so there's no need to make an already dangerous world even more miserable. Enjoy the story, learn the stealth and combat mechanics, and keep an eye out for collectibles as you explore.
Beginning in Chapter 2, you'll start developing three skills: Prudence, Aggressive, and Opportunism. These improve based on how you approach enemy encounters. Try to stick with a particular playstyle early on instead of constantly switching between them. You'll need to fully upgrade all three skills for the Platinum, and focusing on one at a time makes that process easier.
Chapter 3 introduces equipment upgrades. Prioritize fully upgrading Instruments first, as this eventually allows you to upgrade equipment without needing workbenches or tools. Also, start collecting flowers, souvenirs, and secret chests whenever possible. Secret chests require knives to open, so avoid wasting knives unnecessarily.
As the story progresses, enemy encounters become more demanding, and you'll have more opportunities to experiment with Amicia's equipment and alchemy. Continue developing your chosen skill while upgrading your sling, gear, crossbow, and alchemy equipment whenever resources allow. Don't worry about finishing every upgrade immediately, since you'll have another opportunity during New Game+.
Collectibles should become a regular part of your exploration. There are 21 souvenirs, 5 flowers, 7 feathers, and 10 secret chests to find throughout the game. Flowers appear earlier in the story, while feathers begin appearing in Chapter 6. Finding everything during your first playthrough will save you quite a bit of backtracking later.
There are also several chapter-specific trophies worth watching for. In Chapter 4, earn Mercy by getting past the guard at the docks without killing him. Chapter 8 features the Crowns throwing game, and Chapter 9 contains the Old Protector trophy, which requires interacting with specific items inside the sanctuary. These are easy opportunities to overlook when you're focused on surviving the next disaster.
As you approach the final chapters, continue collecting anything you encounter and finish upgrading as much equipment as possible. Chapter 13 contains the final souvenir, feather, and secret chest, making it an important stopping point for collectible hunters. Take your time exploring before moving forward.
Chapter 16 contains the final flower, completing the Herbalist trophy if you've collected the previous four. The remaining story chapters are straightforward from a trophy perspective, so you can concentrate on finishing Amicia and Hugo's journey without worrying about complicated requirements.
Once the credits roll, you'll unlock chapter select and New Game+. Chapter select lets you revisit earlier sections for missed collectibles and trophies without removing access to later chapters. Just remember that New Game+ carries over the progress recorded when you originally completed the story, so finish any important cleanup on your original save before starting your next playthrough.
After completing the story, use chapter select to collect anything you missed. Check your progress toward Herbalist, Ornithologist, Immortal Memories, and Explorer. Be especially careful with secret chests: if you didn't open all 10 during your original playthrough, it's best to finish them through chapter select before moving into New Game+. Otherwise, you'll need to open all 10 again during your New Game+ run.
New Game+ carries over your skills, equipment upgrades, and collectibles, making it the ideal time to finish the remaining upgrade trophies. Your biggest priority will likely be maxing out Prudence, Aggressive, and Opportunism. If you've already completed one skill, adjust your approach to encounters and focus on developing whichever skill still needs experience. You can also revisit earlier chapters during New Game+ to continue leveling skills.
Finally, clean up any remaining combat and miscellaneous trophies, such as extinguishing 40 fires or crafting 100 ammunition. Most of these should come naturally through regular gameplay, especially across two playthroughs. Expect to spend more than half of New Game+ finishing your remaining skills, but there's no need to rush. Once everything is complete, the Requiem Platinum is yours. After everything Amicia and Hugo have been through, you've certainly earned it.
