Astro Bot - 100% Platinum PS5 Walkthrough (All Trophies & Collectibles) No Commentary - Part 1
Trophy: Astro-nomical!
Earned all Trophies. Well done and see you in Astro's next adventure!
Type: Platinum
Unlock Details
Earned all Trophies

Trophy: A Puzzling Start
Found your first Puzzle Piece.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Find your first Puzzle Piece. This is unmissable and will happen during the first level, Sky Garden. Pick up your first Puzzle Piece and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Nothing fancy here. Grab the shiny puzzle piece and enjoy one of the easiest trophies in the game.

Trophy: Animal Attraction
Opened the Safari Park.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Open the Safari Park. The Safari Park is the fourth building created with Puzzle Pieces. Collect 64 Puzzle Pieces in total, then return to the Crash Site and the Safari Park will be built. Once the building opens, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
By the time you are reaching 64 Puzzle Pieces, you should be finding them pretty regularly. Keep grabbing them as you explore and this will come naturally without turning your playthrough into a scavenger hunt marathon.

Trophy: Back To The Nest
Rescued all Bots in Feather Cluster.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 48 Bots in Feather Cluster. Feather Cluster is the fifth galaxy in the game and contains 48 Bots, 19 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Secret Exits. Find and rescue every Bot across the galaxy to unlock the trophy. If you miss any during your first run, revisit the levels that still show missing Bots and clean them up.
Tip
Feather Cluster has the highest Bot count of the main galaxies, so this is a good one to stay on top of as you go. Picking them off during normal progression is much nicer than realizing later that 48 tiny astronauts have filed a missing-person report against you.

Trophy: Eyes Of The All-Father
Found and defeated all eight ravens in Bot Of War.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Find and defeat all 8 green ravens in Bot Of War. Bot Of War is the final level in the Tentacle System. The ravens are hidden throughout the level and can be destroyed with the Leviathan Axe or, in one case, with your controller ship. Their locations are: As you fly into the level, stay to the left and hit the first raven with your controller ship. In the first main area, climb up the large structure on the left. The raven is on the back side near the sea. Along the main path, look toward the large tortoise. The raven is sitting on the ridge above it. Head left off the main path and summon the World Serpent. From its head, you can see one raven. From the World Serpent’s head, look around again for a second raven nearby. At the section where you need to drop two blocks to progress, look to the left for another raven. Go backward from the two-block section and break through the walls leading toward part of the World Tree. A raven holding a Bot can be found here. After tipping over the large statue later in the level, look underneath its left side for the final raven. Destroy all 8 and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The ravens stand out nicely against the snowy environment, so scan the horizon whenever you reach a new open area. The first one is the easiest to miss because you need to hit it while flying into the level.

Trophy: Fangs Very Much!
Rescued all Bots in Serpent Starway.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 42 Bots in Serpent Starway. Serpent Starway is the third galaxy in the game and contains 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Secret Exits. Rescue every Bot across the galaxy and the trophy will unlock. Any Bots you miss can be collected later by replaying the relevant levels.
Tip
Do as much of this naturally as possible while progressing through Serpent Starway. The collectible count is much less intimidating when you are picking them up a few at a time instead of turning cleanup into Astro Bot: Search Party Edition.

Trophy: First Prize
Collected your first Gatcha from the Gatcha Lab.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect your first prize from the Gatcha Lab. The Gatcha Lab unlocks after you collect 16 Puzzle Pieces and return to the Crash Site. Once it is built, head inside and spend 100 coins on a spin. As soon as you receive your first actual prize, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You only need one prize for this trophy, so this is basically your free sample before the Gatcha Lab starts eating your coin supply.

Trophy: Licence To Spend
Opened the Gatcha Lab.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Open the Gatcha Lab. The Gatcha Lab is the first building created with the Puzzle Pieces you collect. Once you have collected 16 Puzzle Pieces, return to the Crash Site and the Gatcha Lab will be built. As soon as it opens, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You will naturally collect plenty of Puzzle Pieces while exploring levels, so there is no need to go out of your way for this one early.

Trophy: Lost And Found
Rescued all Bots in Lost Galaxy.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 55 Bots in Lost Galaxy. Lost Galaxy is an extra galaxy containing 55 Bots and 22 Puzzle Pieces. Unlike the main galaxies, its levels are unlocked by finding Secret Exits hidden inside regular stages. You can tell a level contains a Secret Exit by checking its summary. If you see a galaxy/swirl icon alongside the normal Bot and Puzzle Piece icons, that level has a second exit hidden somewhere inside it. Finding and using the Secret Exit unlocks a new level in Lost Galaxy. Every main galaxy contains 2 Secret Exits, so you will need to explore across the game to open all of the Lost Galaxy stages. If you have trouble locating one, the bird helper available when replaying a level can lead you toward the Secret Exit. Once all Lost Galaxy levels are unlocked, work through them and rescue every Bot. The trophy will unlock after all 55 have been saved.
Tip
Do not leave every Secret Exit until the very end if you can help it. Unlocking Lost Galaxy stages as you find them breaks the cleanup into smaller chunks and makes the final collectible push feel much less like Astro has assigned you homework.

Trophy: Money Well Spent
Earned 150 prizes from the Gatcha Lab.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Earn 150 prizes from the Gatcha Lab. The Gatcha Lab becomes available after collecting 16 Puzzle Pieces and returning to the Crash Site. Inside, you can spend 100 coins per spin to receive prizes. You need 150 actual prizes for this trophy, so you will need at least 15,000 coins. In practice, expect to spend more because some spins can give you plain soda cans instead of prizes. The best way to prepare is to collect coins naturally throughout your first playthrough. Grab loose coins, break containers, defeat enemies, and take advantage of the bonus at the end of levels. When you are sitting on the controller at the end of a level, watch for the rainbow box moving between different points on the screen. When it gains a golden glow, launch the controller into it to earn an extra 100 coins. If you still need coins later, replaying a short level such as Sky Garden in Gorilla Nebula is a solid farming option. Collect everything you can and grab the 100-coin end-of-level bonus before repeating. You can check your current prize total in the top-right corner of the Gatcha Lab. The trophy unlocks as soon as you collect your 150th prize.
Tip
Tip: Start hoarding coins early. Future you will appreciate it when you are standing in front of the Gatcha machine trying to fund Astro’s increasingly expensive toy addiction. Tip: Do not panic if your total coin cost goes past 15,000. Soda-can pulls do not count as prizes, so a little bad luck is completely normal.

Trophy: Monkey See, Monkey Rescue
Rescued all Bots in Gorilla Nebula
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 42 Bots in Gorilla Nebula. Gorilla Nebula is the first galaxy in the game and contains 42 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Secret Exits. You’ll need to find and rescue every Bot across the galaxy to unlock this trophy. If you miss any, return to the individual levels and clean them up before moving on.
Tip
Grab Bots as you see them during your first run instead of leaving the whole galaxy for cleanup. Forty-two sounds like a lot more when you decide to hunt all of them at once.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09Bdzweh-P8

Trophy: Monumental Achievement
Unlocked the Golden Statue.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Unlock the Golden Statue. The Golden Statue is the final structure built with Puzzle Pieces, and you will need to collect every Puzzle Piece in the game before it becomes available. Once you have found them all, return to the Crash Site and the Golden Statue will unlock, earning you the trophy.
Tip
This is one of the last big collectible milestones, so do not worry if it takes a while. Keep cleaning up missing Puzzle Pieces galaxy by galaxy and eventually that giant golden monument will be yours. Very subtle reward, too. Nothing says “I found everything” quite like an enormous gold statue.

Trophy: Nowhere To Hide
Rescued all Bots in Camo Cosmos.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 40 Bots in Camo Cosmos. Camo Cosmos is the fourth galaxy in the game and contains 40 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Secret Exits. Find and rescue every Bot throughout the galaxy to unlock the trophy. If you miss any during your first trip through the levels, you can return later and collect the remaining ones.
Tip
Camo Cosmos has slightly fewer Bots than the previous galaxies, but that does not mean they suddenly learned how to make themselves easy to find. Explore thoroughly as you go and leave as little cleanup as possible for later.

Trophy: One Bot Down…
Rescued your first Bot.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue your first Bot. This is unmissable and will happen during the first level, Sky Garden. Rescue the first Bot you come across and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
No cleanup needed here. Astro basically hands you this one before the adventure has even had time to get started.

Trophy: Splash My Dash
Opened the Dual Speeder Garage.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Open the Dual Speeder Garage. The Dual Speeder Garage is the second building created with the Puzzle Pieces you collect. Once you have collected 32 Puzzle Pieces in total, return to the Crash Site and the garage will be built. The trophy unlocks as soon as it opens.
Tip
Keep collecting Puzzle Pieces as you naturally move through levels and this should unlock without any extra work. Consider it your reward for not ignoring every shiny object you see.

Trophy: Tentacular Spectacular
Rescued all Bots in Tentacle System
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue all 43 Bots in Tentacle System. Tentacle System is the second galaxy in the game and contains 43 Bots, 16 Puzzle Pieces, and 2 Secret Exits. You’ll need to find and rescue every Bot across the galaxy to unlock this trophy. If you finish the area and the trophy does not pop, revisit any levels where you are still missing Bots and clean them up.
Tip
Keep grabbing Bots during your first run through each level. Future you will be much happier cleaning up one or two stragglers instead of organizing a full 43-Bot rescue operation.

Trophy: The Golden Bot
Rescued the Special Master Bot at the top of the Golden Statue.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Rescue the Special Master Bot at the top of the Golden Statue. This is the big collectible payoff. To reach the final challenge, you need all 300 Bots and all 116 Puzzle Pieces in the game. Collectibles are spread across the main galaxies, Lost Galaxy, challenge levels, space encounters, and the Crash Site. You are basically cleaning out the entire game, so by the time this unlocks Astro should probably be charging everyone rescue fees. After completing a level once, you can replay it and find a small dome near the beginning containing a bird. Spend 200 coins to release it and the bird will act as a collectible radar, pointing toward anything you are still missing and pulsing more strongly as you get closer. You can use this in every level as long as you have enough coins. You can also find collectibles while flying around the galaxies. Asteroids, space rocks, and robots carrying Puzzle Pieces can appear as you explore. Hitting them can reward collectibles or unlock additional challenge levels. These smaller stages usually contain a single Bot earned by completing a short combat or platforming challenge. If a galaxy shows everything completed but you are still missing something, spend some time flying around and checking for any remaining space encounters. The Crash Site also contains Bots and Puzzle Pieces. It is best to clean this area up later because many of its collectibles require you to have already rescued a large number of Bots. You are given a map showing Bot locations, and many of the remaining rescues involve using your existing Bots to create platforms or help reach new areas. Once you have all 300 Bots and all 116 Puzzle Pieces, head to the Golden Statue behind the Mothership. Call over all 300 Bots to create a Bot Wall and climb to the top. Enter the room there to begin the final platforming challenge. This is one of the hardest sequences in the game, so focus on controlling your movement instead of trying to rush through it. Work your way through the course and reach the very end to find the Special Master Bot. Rescue it to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Tip: Use the bird radar for any level where you are missing a stubborn collectible. Spending 200 coins is much less painful than running around the same stage for twenty minutes questioning whether a Bot has somehow learned advanced camouflage. Tip: Take your time during the final challenge. Clean movement and patience matter more than speed here. If you have already collected everything else in the game, you have absolutely got this far enough to finish one last platforming gauntlet.

Trophy: The Lost Eggacy
Collected all three egg artifacts in Dude Raiding.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect all 3 egg artifacts in Dude Raiding. Dude Raiding is the final level in Serpent Starway, where you play as Nathan Drake. The three egg artifacts are hidden throughout the level and are collected by hitting them. Their locations are: Under the crashed plane in the tree, near the Bot. Jump off the ledge behind it to reach a hidden wall puzzle. Set every slate so it shows the face with the small eyes. This opens the wall and reveals the first egg. After sliding down the large grassy slope and reaching the water area, head to the right and follow the path. The second egg is sitting on top of a pillar. During the rope-climbing section, turn around while climbing. The final egg is on a nearby platform behind you. Collect all three and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The first egg is the easiest one to miss because of the hidden wall puzzle. Once that one is out of the way, the other two are much more straightforward.

Trophy: Time For A Change
Opened the Changing Room.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Open the Changing Room. The Changing Room is the third building created with Puzzle Pieces. Collect 48 Puzzle Pieces in total, then return to the Crash Site to have it built. Once the Changing Room opens, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
There is no need to grind Puzzle Pieces specifically for this. If you are exploring levels properly, you should reach 48 without much trouble.

Trophy: Double Dug-in
Took out two Wormys at the same time.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Take out 2 Wormys at the same time. The best place to do this is in Wormy Passage in the Tentacle System. About halfway through the level, you’ll reach a section where two Wormys pop out of the ground on opposite sides of you. Wait until both are active, then press L2 and R2 at the same time to fire each fist into a Wormy’s mouth. Pull both of them out of the ground together to defeat them simultaneously. If done correctly, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The setup is basically handed to you here, so do not overcomplicate it. Two Wormys, two fists, one very satisfying double takedown.

Trophy: KO!
Picked a fight with two street fighting warriors in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Pick a fight with both the Disciplined Warrior and Assured Rival Bots at the Crash Site. First, you need to rescue both Bots. The Disciplined Warrior is found in Retro Rampage 1 in Gorilla Nebula. To make the level appear, complete the other levels in the galaxy, then fly around until a meteor or another space event appears. Enter the level, defeat the enemies, and rescue the Bot at the end. The Assured Rival is found in Retro Rampage 2 in the Tentacle System. Just like before, complete the other levels in the galaxy and fly around until the level appears through a space event. Clear the enemies and rescue the Bot. Once you have both, return to the Crash Site and find them behind the Mothership. Stand between the two warriors and hit one of them so the attack catches both you and the other Bot. Then repeat the process with the second warrior. Once both have gotten involved in the fight, the trophy should unlock.
Tip
This one is less “peaceful reunion of PlayStation legends” and more “Astro deliberately starts a parking-lot brawl.” Very efficient trophy hunting.
Warning
This trophy has been reported as slightly buggy. If it does not unlock on your first attempt, keep trying the interaction or leave the Crash Site and return before trying again.

Trophy: What A Trip!
Defeated seven enemies with the Tripcaster.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Defeat 7 enemies using the Tripcaster in Machine Learning. Machine Learning is the final level in Feather Cluster and has you playing as Aloy. About halfway through the level, you’ll reach an area with enemies arranged in a triangular pattern near a Tripcaster trap. Jump over the enemies without hovering, then get the attention of all 7 enemies in the area. Once they are following you, jump over the Tripcaster and lead them directly into the tripwire. If all 7 enemies are defeated by the trap, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Do not attack anything yourself. Your entire job here is to become the world’s smallest and most enthusiastic tour guide: “Right this way, everyone. Please ignore the suspicious glowing wire.”
Warning
This trophy has been reported as buggy. If you accidentally defeat one of the enemies normally, or the trophy does not unlock, jump off the edge of the map to respawn and try again with a fresh group.

Trophy: At The Top Of My Game
Made it to the top of the Mothership.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Reach the top of the Mothership at the Crash Site. This is easiest after finishing the game and recovering all of the Mothership parts, although it can be done after completing Camo Cosmos. The CPU and Protection Covers are not required to reach the top. At the Crash Site, head to the scaffolding on the right side of the Mothership. Climb your way upward using the ladders and ropes until you reach the top of the ship. Walk around briefly once you are up there and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
No hidden trick or complicated platforming here. Just keep climbing until Astro can officially look down on everyone he spent the whole game rescuing.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvnr8h8HdXA

Trophy: Bot Bot Revolution
Danced with 100 Bots in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Dance with at least 100 Bots at the Crash Site. First, rescue more than 100 Bots. Once you have enough, return to the Crash Site and press Triangle to call all of your rescued Bots over to you. With at least 100 gathered nearby, press Down on the D-pad to start dancing. The Bots will join in, and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
There is no timing challenge here. Just gather the crowd and start dancing. You rescued them, so technically this is your victory party.

Trophy: Deep-Pocket Dragon
Made a tough guy drop all his items in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Make the Tattooed Dragon Bot drop all of his items at the Crash Site. First, rescue the Tattooed Dragon Bot. He can be found in Boing! Bonanza in Camo Cosmos. To make the level appear, enter the large Square-shaped galaxy, then head to the level in the top-left of the map. Work through the stage using the fans to platform forward while avoiding the fire hazards. The Tattooed Dragon Bot is rescued at the end. You also need to obtain his gate item from the Gatcha Lab. Once both are unlocked, return to the Crash Site and head to the right side of the Mothership. You’ll find the Tattooed Dragon standing underneath the gate. Keep hitting him repeatedly. Each hit will make him drop more items from his pockets. Continue until he has dropped everything and the trophy unlocks.
Tip
There is no trick here. Just keep hitting him until his pockets are completely empty. Astro apparently decided the fastest path to the Platinum involved becoming a very small mugger.

Trophy: Jumping Through Hoops
Leaped through the ring in Bubbling Under.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Leap through the ring in Bubbling Under. Bubbling Under is a level in Camo Cosmos. After swimming through the caves, you’ll reach a large open underwater area. Just above the point where you first drop into this section, look for a ring mounted on the wall with dolphins underneath it. Dive deeper into the water, then swim straight upward while holding Cross and R2 to launch yourself out of the water. Aim for the ring and pass through it to unlock the trophy. You can use Astro’s hover if you need a little extra adjustment once you are airborne.
Tip
Get plenty of depth before launching so you have enough height to reach the ring. If the first attempt misses, just line yourself up again and give Astro another chance to audition for the world’s tiniest dolphin show.

Trophy: Keep It Together!
Knocked a Bot out of a Bot Tower without it collapsing.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Knock a Bot out of a Bot Tower without making the whole tower collapse. A Bot Tower is any structure in the Crash Site where Bots are stacked together to hold something up. An easy place to do this is to the left of the Horizon Zero Dawn area. Use 10 Bots to hold up the stone platforms, then hit one of the Bots near the base of the tower. Make sure you do not hit the very bottom Bot. Knock out one of the lower Bots above it instead so the structure stays standing. If the tower remains intact after the Bot is knocked out, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Aim low, but not too low. You want one Bot gone, not a full structural engineering disaster.

Trophy: Let's Twist Again
Busted a move with an iconic marsupial in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Dance with the Spinning Marsupial Bot, Crash Bandicoot, at the Crash Site. First, you need to rescue the Spinning Marsupial Bot. Crash can be found in Az-Tech Trail in Gorilla Nebula. Near the start of the level, look off to the right for a crate filled with Wumpa fruit. Break it open to find Crash inside. Next, you need to obtain Aku Aku from the Gatcha Lab. Once you have both Crash and Aku Aku available at the Crash Site, go over to Crash and press Down on the D-pad to start dancing. Crash should join in, and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
If he does not react right away, make sure Aku Aku has been unlocked from the Gatcha Lab first. Then it is just you, Crash, and whatever dance moves Astro has been hiding this whole time.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxZ-ilkRjxY&list=PLRr5L69yg_kF1zsy7h1mqiZtzxe1A1DeD&index=2

Trophy: Net Profit
Caught the gold butterfly in Apes On The Loose.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Catch the gold butterfly in Apes On The Loose. Apes On The Loose is the final level in Gorilla Nebula and unlocks after the boss fight. In this level, you play as the Ape Escape character and capture Ape Bots. When you reach the main area with the giant statue and fountain, look behind one of the statues for a bush. Walk near it and a golden butterfly will appear. It is easy to spot thanks to its gold glow and the flakes coming off it. Once spawned, the butterfly will fly around the main fountain area. Chase it down and catch it to unlock the trophy and earn a nice pile of coins.
Tip
Do not overthink the chase. Keep circling the fountain area and cut it off rather than trying to follow directly behind it. Tiny butterfly, surprisingly committed escape plan.

Trophy: Royally Stuck
Got a little too close to a sticky sphere in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Get stuck to the Royal Roller Bot’s giant sticky ball in the Crash Site. First, you need to rescue the Royal Roller Bot. They are found in Downsize Surprise in the Tentacle System. During the section where you climb the tree, look along the branches for the Bot being attacked by birds. Rescue them and finish the level. Next, you need to obtain the Royal Roller Bot’s giant sticky ball from the Gatcha Lab. Once the item is unlocked, find the Royal Roller Bot in the Crash Site near the area with the round LocoRoco Bots. Stand to the right of the sticky ball and hit it. The Royal Roller Bot will start rolling it around, and you want to let the ball run over Astro so he gets stuck to it. If the ball misses you, wait for the Royal Roller Bot to finish its route, then set yourself up and try again.
Tip
Do not dodge the giant sticky ball. This is one of the rare moments in gaming where getting flattened on purpose is absolutely the correct strategy.

Trophy: SingStars
Witnessed all ship parts singing together in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Witness all of the Mothership parts singing together at the Crash Site. You need to finish the main game and recover all of the Mothership parts first. Once that is done, return to the Crash Site and climb the scaffolding on the left side of the Mothership. The side panel will open, revealing all of the parts you recovered. Wait a few seconds and they will start singing together. Once the performance begins, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You do not need to interact with anything once you reach the correct spot. Just give them a few seconds to start the show. Apparently saving the galaxy also gets you front-row seats to a very tiny concert.

Trophy: Strike A Pose!
Took a picture at a Photo Spot.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Take a picture at a Photo Spot. Before you can do this, you need to unlock the Safari Park in the Crash Site and obtain the camera there. Once you have the camera, enter any level and look for one of the cardboard Photo Spot stands. Slo-Mo Casino is one example. Step behind the stand and your camera will appear. Press Up on the D-pad when prompted to take the picture. As soon as the photo is taken, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
This is a very quick one once you have the camera. Find the cardboard stand, smile like Astro absolutely understands what a selfie is, and snap the picture.

Trophy: Thaw, God of Thunder!
Froze a hammer-wielding deity with the axe in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Freeze the Thunder God Bot with the axe in the Crash Site. You first need the Dad of Boy Bot and the Thunder God Bot. The Dad of Boy Bot is obtained automatically while progressing through the Wakeo Tako boss fight in the Tentacle System. To find the Thunder God Bot, play Bot of War in the Tentacle System. Around the midpoint of the level, take the left path to a secluded island. Pull the wires there to summon the World Serpent, and you’ll find the Bot on its head. Once you have both Bots, you also need Dad of Boy’s axe item from the Gatcha Lab. Return to their area in the Crash Site and hit the Dad of Boy Bot to trigger his ice attack. Position yourself in front of the Thunder God Bot so the attack hits and freezes him. Once the Thunder God is frozen, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The main trick is lining them up correctly. If the ice misses, just reset your position and try again. Apparently even tiny robot gods are not immune to sibling-style friendly fire.

Trophy: Thick As Thieves
Captured a photo of two legendary explorers in Crash Site.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Take a photo of Raider Dude, the Nathan Drake Bot, and Aristocratic Archaeologist, the Lara Croft Bot, together at the Crash Site. Nathan Drake is obtained automatically after beating the boss in Serpent Starway. To find Lara Croft, go to Hieroglitch Pyramid in Camo Cosmos. When you reach the section with 3 blocks slamming down, move behind the third block, break the vase, and burrow downward. You’ll reach an area with sound-triggered traps and Lara sneaking beneath them. Move very slowly so you do not trigger the traps, then reach Lara and hit her to rescue the Bot. You will also need the camera, which is obtained from Safari Park. Once you have both Bots, you have two ways to set up the photo. The first method is to use the Gatcha Lab until you obtain Lara’s dinosaur companion. Then head to the Crash Site, position yourself behind Nathan Drake, wait for Lara to run through the background, and take a picture with both characters in the frame. If you do not have the dinosaur companion, press Triangle to gather the Bots together. Find Nathan and Lara, then gently run into them to push them closer to each other. Once both are in the same shot, take the photo. The trophy will unlock when the game recognizes both legendary explorers in the picture.
Tip
The Triangle method works if you want to skip waiting on the Gatcha Lab. Herding Bots into position is slightly less glamorous than archaeology, but it gets the job done.

Trophy: Time To Cash In!
Stopped time and won the jackpot on all four slot machines in Slo-Mo Casino.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Win the jackpot on all 4 slot machines in Slo-Mo Casino while using the time-stop gadget. Slo-Mo Casino is the first level in Serpent Starway, and you receive the time-slowing gadget near the beginning. As you progress through the level, you’ll eventually reach an area with 4 slot machines. Use R2 to slow or stop time while the reels are spinning, then line them up so all 3 symbols show Astro’s head. Do this on each of the 4 machines. If you accidentally land on the monster symbols, enemies will spawn. Defeat them and you can spin the machine again. Once you hit the Astro jackpot on all 4 slot machines, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Take your time with each machine and use the slow-motion ability aggressively. This is one casino where cheating is not only allowed, it is literally the intended strategy. While you are in Slo-Mo Casino, this is also a convenient place to grab Strike A Pose! if you have the camera unlocked.

Trophy: Um Jammer Slammy
Successfully dunked the basketball in Construction Derby.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Successfully score the basketball in Construction Derby. Construction Derby is located in Gorilla Nebula. About halfway through the level, you’ll reach a room with a basketball hoop and a crate underneath the nearby platform. Break the crate to spill several basketballs onto the floor. Stand near one of them, face the hoop, and hit the ball toward it. Once the ball goes through the hoop, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Despite the trophy name saying “dunk,” you do not actually need to dunk it. A normal shot works just fine, so thankfully Astro does not need to suddenly develop a 40-inch vertical.

Trophy: Wall Buster
Broke up a Bot Wall.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Break apart a Bot Wall at the Crash Site. Bot Walls are formed when your rescued Bots pile together into a large wall that Astro can run up. One Bot Wall can be created in front of the Golden Statue after you have rescued all 300 Bots. Activate the wall, then hit one of the Bots while they are stacked together. The entire wall will collapse and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You worked very hard to rescue all those Bots, and now the trophy asks you to knock them all over. Try not to think about it too much.

Trophy: What Is He Saying?
Splashed Papa Tree's face during his song.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Splash Papa Tree’s face during his song. In Trunk of Funk in the Tentacle System, you’ll need to water the large seed near the start of the level. Once it grows, Papa Tree will come to life and start singing. While he is singing, keep spraying water directly at his face. After a moment, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
There is no complicated setup here. Just interrupt Papa Tree’s big musical moment by blasting him in the face with water. Rude? Absolutely. Trophy-worthy? Also yes.

Trophy: A Lot To Process
Saved the CPU Kid
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Save the CPU Kid after recovering all of the other Mothership parts and reaching the final encounter. This sequence is different from the previous major bosses. You begin aboard your ship, flying through the area and shooting enemies. Hold down the fire button and focus on destroying everything in front of you until you reach the Space Bully. During the boss fight, the Space Bully will raise his UFO and spin a wheel that determines which gadget you need to use for the next attack. He occasionally cheats and changes the result because apparently intergalactic villains are above respecting game-show rules. Use whichever gadget you are given to survive the attack and create an opening to damage him. Once you land a hit, jump onto his UFO, attack his fingers, and then destroy one of the locks. Repeat this process three times. During the final section, use the controller to shoot down everything the alien throws at you, then fire at the Space Bully himself to finish the fight. Once the battle is over, you’ll save the CPU Kid and unlock the trophy.
Tip
During the flying sections, keep firing constantly instead of trying to time every shot. There is no prize for conserving ammunition, so turn the screen into a laser-filled mess and focus on avoiding anything headed your way.

Trophy: Doing It For You
Recovered the Mothership's GPU.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Recover the Mothership’s GPU by completing the Serpent Starway. You’ll need to clear the regular levels, rescue enough Bots to unlock the boss, defeat the giant snake, and then finish the Uncharted-themed crossover level. The snake boss relies heavily on the chicken gadget and uses four main attacks throughout the fight: Eggs that hatch into enemies if you do not destroy them quickly. A tail slam followed by a sweep across the arena. Falling pillars that you need to stand on to stay above the poison-covered floor. A horizontal slide across the stage that gives you your opening to attack. When the snake slides across the arena, hit the glowing blue section on her tail. Her head will then hang over the battlefield, giving you a chance to dash into her chin. After each successful hit, she reduces the size of the arena with her tail, so the fight gradually gets a little more cramped. Hit her chin twice, then grab her tongue and use the chicken gadget to dash upward and enter the final phase. For the last phase, you’ll run along the snake while she fires enemies and venom balls toward you. You can avoid these attacks by hovering off the edge of the tail and moving back onto it once the danger has passed. Keep progressing until you finish the fight. Afterward, the Uncharted crossover level unlocks. You play as Nathan Drake and use a gun through most of the stage, shooting enemies and explosives as you work your way forward. At the end, you’ll need to climb up and down a rope while avoiding the boss’s attacks. Keep moving on the rope, dodge whenever necessary, and continue firing at the boss until the encounter ends. Once the GPU has been recovered, cleaned, and installed back into the Mothership, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Rescue as many Bots as you can while clearing Serpent Starway so you can unlock the boss without extra cleanup. For the final snake phase, do not feel like you have to stay planted on the tail the whole time. Hovering off the edge gives you a much safer way to avoid incoming attacks and keeps the final stretch from turning into a panic sprint.

Trophy: Keep It Cool
Recovered the Mothership's Cooling Fan.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Recover the Mothership’s Cooling Fan by completing the Camo Cosmos. You’ll need to clear the regular levels, rescue enough Bots to unlock the boss, defeat the giant chameleon, and then complete the LocoRoco-themed crossover level. The chameleon fight uses the time-freeze power heavily and is one of the tougher boss fights in the game. In the first phase, clear the enemies and use time stop to safely get through the incoming fireball attacks. When the chameleon slams its tongue onto the arena, run up the tongue and attack the back of its throat. After taking damage, the boss moves to a new arena. Use time stop to cross the spinning saw blades and reach it safely. Once you arrive, the earlier attacks return along with a new rocket attack. Use time stop to avoid the rockets, and be careful because they can also destroy parts of the platform you are standing on. From there, keep repeating the same basic strategy: survive the attacks, wait for the tongue slam, run up, and attack the throat until the fight is finished. After the boss, you’ll unlock the LocoRoco-themed crossover level. This one changes things up by having you tilt and move the controller to roll through the stage. The entire level is built around that mechanic, so just keep working your way through until you reach the end. Once the Cooling Fan has been recovered, cleaned, and installed back into the Mothership, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Do not rush the chameleon fight. Time stop is your best friend here, especially once the rockets start destroying the arena. Take the safe openings, use the power whenever things get chaotic, and the fight becomes much more manageable.

Trophy: Solid Performance
Recovered the Mothership's SSD.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Recover the Mothership’s SSD by completing the Tentacle System. You’ll need to clear the regular levels, rescue enough Bots to unlock the boss, defeat the giant octopus, and then complete the God of War-themed crossover level. The octopus boss uses the frog-hand power-up and is fought across three phases. In the first phase, dodge its tentacle attacks until one gets stuck in the ground, then beat on it. Afterward, the boss will jump over you, drop enemies into the arena, and start another round of tentacle attacks. This time, they can shoot up from the ground, so wait for one to get stuck and hit it again. Eventually, the octopus will raise its hands in front of its face. Grab onto them to launch yourself toward it, then attack the side of its goggles. The second phase adds a few new tricks because apparently being a giant angry octopus wasn’t enough. It can suck up the water and fire spiked balls at you, which you can either dodge or punch apart. It can also charge up a giant punch that you can hit back. After it jumps over you, it leaves ink across the arena. Dodge the incoming punches until you can get one stuck in the ink, then attack it. Knock off two more gloves and repeat the launch toward its face. The final phase adds some platforming. Stay on the higher sections so you can jump over the incoming waves, stopping at each safe high point before moving forward. Once you reach the final platform, dodge the boss’s attacks and punch its eye whenever it looks toward you. Keep doing this until you can launch into its face one last time and finish the fight. After the boss, you’ll unlock the God of War crossover level. You play as Kratos and use the Leviathan Axe to break obstacles and defeat enemies. It plays mostly like a standard level, so just work your way through and complete it. Once you recover the SSD, clean it up, and reinstall it in the Mothership, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Rescue plenty of Bots while working through the Tentacle System. You need enough of them to unlock the boss, and doing it naturally is much better than having to revisit levels because one tiny robot decided to hide behind a rock.

Trophy: Take Cover!
Recovered the Mothership's Protection Covers.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Recover the Mothership’s Protection Covers by completing the Feather Cluster. You’ll need to clear the regular levels, rescue enough Bots to unlock the boss, defeat the giant falcon, and then complete the Horizon Zero Dawn-themed crossover level. The falcon fight takes place entirely in the air and is one of the simpler major boss fights. Most of the encounter revolves around the ball gadget. Defeat the enemies it sends at you, dodge the giant birds, and use ball form to block its flaming attacks. When the falcon slams its beak down, block the hit with ball form. After the beak attack, move over to one of its wings and use a powered attack to open one of the bounce pads. Use it to launch onto the falcon’s back, move toward its neck, and slam onto its head to deal damage. Repeat this process three times. After the third hit, punch the bump on its head to finish the fight. Afterward, the Horizon Zero Dawn crossover level unlocks. You play as Aloy and use her bow to shoot enemies and obstacles while making your way through the stage. It plays mostly like a standard level, so just keep moving forward and enjoy Astro Bot’s extremely casual approach to borrowing another PlayStation hero’s entire combat style. Complete the level to recover the Protection Covers. Clean them up and reinstall them on the Mothership to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Use ball form whenever you are unsure about an incoming attack during the falcon fight. The boss is fairly forgiving, and once you recognize the beak slam as your opening, the whole fight becomes very straightforward.

Trophy: Unforgettable!
Recovered the Mothership's Memory.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Recover the Mothership’s Memory by completing the Gorilla Nebula. You’ll need to clear the regular levels first, rescue enough Bots to unlock the boss, defeat the giant gorilla boss, and then complete the Ape Escape-themed crossover level. The gorilla boss has three phases and revolves around using the rocket dog power-up. During the first two phases, watch for three main attacks: a billboard dragged across the arena, a bell slam you need to jump over, and enemy spawns. After the bell attack, the bell stays on the platform. Dash into it to stun the boss and knock him down, then dash into one of his eyes. Repeat this process for the second eye. In the final phase, he adds a platform-breaking attack that forces you to jump between sections to avoid falling. He can also bite the platform and create shockwaves, so keep jumping over them until he gets stuck. When that happens, break his teeth. Do this twice, then enter his mouth and attack the back of his throat to finish the fight. After that, the Ape Escape crossover level unlocks. You’ll play as Spike and use the monkey radar and net to hunt down Ape Bots. Catch six of them to open the path to the boss. The fight is straightforward: clear the enemies, throw dynamite at the boss, then use your net to stun and capture them. Finish the level, restore the Memory to the Mothership, and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Rescue as many Bots as you can while progressing through Gorilla Nebula. You need enough of them to unlock the boss fight, so grabbing them as you go saves you from having to backtrack later.

EARLY GAME
Start by enjoying Astro Bot for what it is: a colorful 3D platforming collectathon packed with PlayStation references, easter eggs, and a lot of tiny robots who apparently need you to solve all of their problems. Your first priority should simply be progressing through each level, rescuing Bots, collecting Puzzle Pieces, and getting familiar with how each stage works.
Keep an eye out for level-specific trophies while you play. Some ask you to perform a particular action inside a level, such as dunking the basketball in Construction Derby, catching the gold butterfly in Apes On The Loose, defeating all eight ravens in Bot Of War, or collecting the three egg artifacts in Dude Raiding. Getting these naturally now will save you from replaying levels later just because you forgot to annoy Papa Tree during his song.
As you progress, you will also unlock areas around the Crash Site including the Gatcha Lab, Safari Park, Dual Speeder Garage, and Changing Room. Spend coins at the Gatcha Lab as you go rather than worrying about saving everything until the end.
MID GAME
Continue working through every galaxy and try to rescue all of the Bots you encounter along the way. Each major area has its own trophy for rescuing every Bot, including Gorilla Nebula, Tentacle System, Serpent Starway, Camo Cosmos, Feather Cluster, and eventually Lost Galaxy.
This is also a good time to keep cleaning up the special objectives inside individual levels. Trophies such as What A Trip!, Double Dug-in, Time To Cash In!, Jumping Through Hoops, Wall Buster, and Keep It Together! are much easier to handle while those levels are still fresh in your memory.
Puzzle Pieces and Bots are worth grabbing whenever you see them, but you do not need to turn your first playthrough into a military operation. Enjoy the levels, explore, and grab what you can. Anything you miss can be cleaned up later.
LATE GAME
As you reach the later parts of the game, continue completing the remaining galaxies and recovering the Mothership parts. Several trophies will come naturally through progression, including recovering the Memory, SSD, GPU, Cooling Fan, Protection Covers, and saving the CPU Kid.
Once the main journey is wrapping up, start checking which level-specific trophies you may have missed. This is the best time to revisit stages rather than leaving dozens of tiny objectives waiting for you at the very end.
You should also begin spending more time around the Crash Site. Some trophies require specific cameo characters and their related Gatcha items before you can perform the required interaction, so expect a little PlayStation reunion tour before the Platinum is finished.
TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS
Your cleanup will mainly focus on missing collectibles, Crash Site character trophies, Gatcha prizes, and the final Golden Bot challenge. The cameo trophies include taking a photo of two legendary explorers, freezing a hammer-wielding deity with the axe, dancing with an iconic marsupial, making a tough guy drop his items, and picking a fight with two street fighting warriors.
You will eventually need all Bots, all Puzzle Pieces, and enough coins to collect 150 Gatcha prizes. Keep gathering coins while cleaning up levels so the Gatcha grind takes care of itself instead of becoming one giant shopping spree at the end.
The Golden Bot challenge is one of the final hurdles and may be tougher than most of the game, but it should still be manageable once you are comfortable with Astro's movement and everything the game has taught you. Clean up the remaining collectibles, finish your Gatcha collection, conquer that last challenge, and the Platinum should be yours. If one stubborn collectible or level trophy refuses to cooperate, Ask Gami can help you track down exactly what you are missing.
