Trophy: Master Of Kyrat
Obtain all the Trophies.
Type: Platinum
Unlock Details
Earn every other base-game trophy in Far Cry 4 to unlock the Platinum.
Trophy: Brother In Arms
Liberate 1 Outpost playing as Hurk (Campaign Co-op only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Liberate one enemy-controlled outpost while playing as Hurk in another player's cooperative campaign. From the main menu or in-game co-op options, join another player's campaign as the guest. When you join someone else's game, you'll control Hurk instead of Ajay. Work with the host to find an enemy-controlled outpost. Eliminate every hostile soldier and successfully liberate the location. The trophy unlocks once the outpost is captured while you're playing as Hurk.
Tip
Arrange to play with a friend who still has an enemy-controlled outpost available. You can approach the liberation however you prefer. Stealth isn't required, and both players can help eliminate the guards.
Warning
You must join another player's campaign as the guest. Hosting your own game won't unlock this trophy because the host plays as Ajay, not Hurk. This trophy requires functioning online co-op services. If you're having trouble connecting, try coordinating directly with another player rather than relying on random matchmaking. Hurk might not be Kyrat's most subtle freedom fighter, but fortunately, nobody's asking him to write the liberation strategy.
Trophy: Changing Lanes
Perform a Vehicle Takedown from the passenger seat of a vehicle (Campaign Co-op only).
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Perform a Vehicle Takedown from the passenger seat of a vehicle during cooperative play. First, unlock the Vehicle Takedown skill from the Tiger skill tree. It costs one skill point. Next, join another player's campaign or invite a friend into your game. Enter a vehicle together, making sure you're sitting in the passenger seat while your co-op partner drives. Find an enemy-controlled vehicle and ask your partner to drive alongside it, staying close enough for the Vehicle Takedown prompt to appear. When the prompt appears, press R3 to perform the takedown and eliminate the enemy driver. Successfully completing the maneuver unlocks the trophy.
Tip
Have your partner drive slowly alongside the enemy vehicle to make the takedown easier to execute. Royal Army vehicles traveling along roads are good targets. Coordinate your approach so your partner can maintain a steady position beside the driver.
Warning
This trophy has reported issues with the Vehicle Takedown prompt not appearing consistently during co-op. If the prompt doesn't appear, try approaching the enemy vehicle from a different angle or reducing your speed. You must perform the takedown from the passenger seat during co-op. Performing it while driving alone won't count.

Trophy: Community Surprise
Play a Top Rated map in the Map Browser (Map Browser only).
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Play a Top Rated user-created map through the Map Browser. From the main menu, select Map Browser. Choose Quick Search, then select the Top Rated category to find a highly rated community map. Select one of the available maps and launch it. Play through the map until the match or objective finishes to unlock the trophy. You don't need to achieve a particular score or difficulty rating.
Tip
Choose a short, straightforward map if several are available. Some community maps can be completed in just a few minutes. If the Map Browser isn't finding any maps, there is also a reported workaround using the Map Editor: From the main menu, select Map Editor → Assault → Start Map Editor. Place a player spawn point using Add Gameplay Objects → Player Spawn Point. Add an enemy using Add AI → Enemy Wave 1. Save the map, accepting the validation warning if one appears. Return to the main menu and open Map Editor → All My Maps. Select your newly created map and choose Play. Finish the encounter by killing the enemy or allowing yourself to be killed. Players have reported unlocking Community Surprise using this method when the online Map Browser wasn't functioning.
Warning
The normal unlock method depends on the availability of Far Cry 4's online Map Browser. The service has experienced outages and periods where searches returned no maps. The Map Editor workaround has worked for some players, but isn't guaranteed to work on every game version or under every service condition. If the normal method is available, use it first.
Trophy: Renaissance Man
Finish a public match of each game type in the Battles of Kyrat game mode (Battles of Kyrat only).
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete a public multiplayer match in each of the three Battles of Kyrat game modes. The required modes are: Outpost Demon Mask Propaganda From the main menu, enter Battles of Kyrat and search for a public multiplayer match. Play each of the three game modes until the match finishes. You don't need to win. Simply completing one public match in each mode satisfies the requirement. After finishing all three different game types, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Because Far Cry 4's multiplayer population is limited, organizing a group of players is often the easiest way to find matches. Try completing this trophy early in your Platinum journey rather than leaving it until after you've finished everything else.
Warning
This trophy requires functioning online multiplayer services. Battles of Kyrat has experienced extended periods of matchmaking problems in the past, so availability may be inconsistent. Make sure you finish each match completely. Leaving before the results screen may prevent that game mode from registering toward the trophy.
Trophy: Caretaker Of Memory
Find 10 Lost Letters (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect 10 Lost Letters scattered throughout Kyrat. There are 20 Lost Letters in total, but you only need to collect half of them for this trophy. Lost Letters are historical collectibles left behind by soldiers and can be found in caves, abandoned buildings, and other hidden locations. To make them easier to locate, visit a trading post and purchase the collectible maps for the regions you're exploring. Lost Letters appear as blue envelope icons on your map. Travel to a marked location, search the surrounding area, and interact with the letter to collect it. Repeat until you've collected 10 Lost Letters to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Prioritize letters located near fast-travel points, outposts, and other objectives you're already completing. Some letters are hidden deep inside caves, so check for nearby entrances if the collectible appears inaccessible. You only need 10 of the 20 letters, so there's no reason to turn Ajay's rebellion into a full-time postal delivery service.
Trophy: End Transmission
Liberate 8 Bell Towers (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Liberate eight bell towers throughout Kyrat. There are 17 bell towers in total, but you only need to liberate eight for this trophy. Bell towers are marked on your map. Travel to one and climb to the top using its ladders, platforms, and, when necessary, your grappling hook. Once you reach the top, find the radio transmitter and interact with it to disable the propaganda broadcast. Repeat this process until you've liberated eight towers to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Each liberated tower clears the fog covering part of your map and reveals additional locations and activities. They're worth tackling early because they make exploring Kyrat considerably easier. You can also liberate the remaining towers to reveal more of the map, although they aren't required for this trophy. Pagan Min may control the country's radio stations, but apparently, his broadcasting equipment has absolutely no security.
Trophy: Exorcist
Remove or destroy 15 Masks of Yalung (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Remove or destroy 15 Masks of Yalung scattered throughout Kyrat. There are 55 masks in total, but you only need to find 15 for the trophy. Masks are hidden in caves, buildings, ruins, and other locations throughout the open world. When you approach a mask's location, a blue search circle will appear on your map. Search within the marked area until you locate the mask. Once you've found it, approach and interact with it to remove it. You can also destroy masks using explosives. Repeat until you've removed or destroyed 15 masks to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Purchase collectible maps from trading posts to help identify mask locations. You don't need all 55 masks, so prioritize those near fast-travel points or other objectives you're already completing.
Warning
The map usually identifies the general search area rather than the mask's exact position. Check inside nearby buildings, caves, and elevated locations if you can't immediately find it. Some masks are well hidden, so use the accompanying video guide if a particular location becomes frustrating.
Trophy: Rewriting History
Remove 30 Propaganda Posters (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Remove 30 propaganda posters throughout Kyrat. There are 150 propaganda posters scattered across the country, but only 30 are required for this trophy. Posters are attached to walls, buildings, and other structures in villages, outposts, and settlements. When you find one, approach it and hold Square to tear it down. If a poster is positioned too high to reach, you can destroy it using an explosive weapon, such as a grenade launcher. Continue removing posters until you've destroyed 30 to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Propaganda posters are among the easiest collectibles to find because many are located along roads and in populated areas. Remove them whenever you encounter one during story missions or side activities. You'll likely reach 30 without needing a dedicated collectible hunt. Pagan Min spent a fortune decorating Kyrat with his face. Ajay's response is apparently to become the world's most aggressive municipal cleanup worker.
Trophy: Right Tributes
Spin 10 Mani Wheels (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Spin 10 Mani Wheels throughout Kyrat. Mani Wheels are traditional prayer wheels found at religious sites, villages, and other locations across the open world. There are 40 Mani Wheels in total, but only 10 are required for this trophy. When you find one, approach it and press the interaction button to spin it. Repeat this process until you've spun 10 different Mani Wheels to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Spinning Mani Wheels also rewards Karma, making this an excellent way to progress toward The Good Fight. Look for wheels near temples and settlements while exploring. They're often conveniently located along routes you'll already travel during the campaign. Unlike most activities in Kyrat, this one doesn't require shooting, stabbing, or setting anything on fire. Enjoy the change of pace.
Trophy: Well Read
Read 10 notes (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Read 10 notes scattered throughout Kyrat. Notes are written documents found in houses, caves, outposts, and other locations across the open world. They may appear on tables, attached to walls, or placed beside important objects. Unlike some other collectibles, notes aren't marked on your map. When you find one, approach it and hold Square to read it. Continue exploring and reading notes until you've examined 10 to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Check desks, tables, and shelves whenever you enter a building during story missions or side activities. There are plenty of notes throughout Kyrat, so you should reach 10 naturally without needing to search every location. Ajay may have traveled across the world to scatter his mother's ashes, but he's somehow ended up reading everyone else's personal correspondence along the way.
Trophy: Misdirection
Distract 15 enemies with rocks (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Successfully distract 15 enemies using rocks. While exploring enemy-controlled areas, press Right on the D-pad to throw a rock. When an enemy hears the noise, they'll investigate the location where the rock landed. For the distraction to count, allow the enemy to reach the rock's location and finish investigating. Wait until the guard returns to their original position before attempting another distraction. Repeat until you've successfully distracted 15 enemies to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Enemy outposts are ideal for this challenge because guards follow predictable patrol routes. Stay hidden and throw a rock near an isolated enemy. Allow the guard to complete the investigation before moving on to another target. Try distracting different enemies rather than repeatedly using the same guard, as repeated distractions of one enemy may not count.
Warning
Throwing 15 rocks isn't enough. Each distraction must be fully completed. Wait until the enemy investigates the noise and returns to their original patrol position before counting it as successful. If you've already liberated every outpost, you can restore enemies using Reset Outposts.
Trophy: Reign Of Death
Kill 30 enemies with Mortar rounds (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Kill 30 enemies using mortar rounds. Mortars can be found at several enemy-controlled outposts and other locations throughout Kyrat. Approach a mortar emplacement and interact with it to take control. When aiming, you'll enter an overhead view that allows you to target enemies within approximately 200 meters. Aim at groups of hostile soldiers and fire mortar rounds to eliminate them. Continue until you've killed 30 enemies with mortar fire to unlock the trophy. Recommended Method: Outpost Reinforcements Find an enemy-controlled outpost equipped with a mortar. Eliminate most of the guards while leaving at least one enemy alive. Allow the remaining guard to activate an alarm and call reinforcements. Use the mortar to bombard the arriving enemy groups, focusing on their vehicles and gathering points. Repeat until you've earned the required kills.
Tip
Pranijagat School Outpost is a useful location for this trophy. Once liberated, you can replay it through Outpost Master to farm additional mortar kills. Alternatively, use Reset Outposts in the Gameplay settings to restore hostile locations.
Warning
Mortars have a large blast radius, so avoid firing near Golden Path soldiers or civilians. Only enemies killed by mortar rounds count toward the trophy. Kills with grenades, rockets, or other explosives won't contribute. Ajay may have joined the Golden Path as a reluctant freedom fighter, but he's apparently developed a professional interest in long-range artillery.
Trophy: The People's Champ
Reach Arena Rank 5 (Campaign Arena only).
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Reach Rank 5 in Shanath Arena. You'll gain access to the Arena during the main story after your first encounter with Yogi and Reggie. During your initial visit, you'll need to survive five waves of enemies to escape. After completing this sequence, you can return to Shanath Arena and participate in additional challenges. Each completed Arena match awards points toward your Arena Rank. Continue participating in matches until you've earned enough points to reach Rank 5. The trophy unlocks automatically once you reach the required rank.
Tip
Weapon Challenges are generally the most efficient way to earn Arena points because they offer good rewards for the time invested. The Flamethrower Weapon Challenge is particularly useful if you're also working toward Flame On!, which requires 50 fire kills.
Warning
Your Arena Rank is separate from your regular campaign experience and skill progression. You must earn Arena points by participating in Arena challenges. Completing ordinary missions or liberating outposts won't increase your Arena Rank. Apparently, liberating Kyrat isn't enough recognition for Ajay. He also needs to become a professional gladiator.
Trophy: Tusker
Kill 30 enemies with an elephant (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Kill 30 enemies while riding an elephant. First, unlock the Elephant Rider skill in the Elephant skill tree. This allows Ajay to climb onto elephants and control them. Find a wild elephant and approach it to climb onto its back. Once mounted, look for enemy soldiers along roads or inside hostile outposts. You can kill enemies using two attacks: R3 — Tusk Attack: Strike nearby enemies with the elephant's tusks. L3 — Charge: Rush forward and trample enemies in your path. Continue attacking enemies until you've accumulated 30 elephant kills to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Enemy-controlled outposts are excellent locations for farming kills. Ride an elephant into an outpost and allow the guards to activate an alarm, bringing additional enemies into the area. If you've already liberated every outpost, replay Shanath Breeders Outpost using Outpost Master or restore enemy-controlled locations through Reset Outposts. Apparently, Ajay has decided that conventional military vehicles are overrated. Why drive a tank when you can ride six tons of extremely angry wildlife?
Trophy: Drive-By
Kill 25 enemies while shooting and driving (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill 25 enemies while shooting from a moving vehicle that you're driving. Equip a one-handed weapon, such as a pistol or the M-79 grenade launcher, which can be fired while driving. Find a vehicle and travel along roads where enemy soldiers and Royal Army vehicles frequently appear. When you encounter enemies, fire your weapon while remaining in the driver's seat. Continue until you've killed 25 enemies while driving and shooting to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The M-79 grenade launcher is particularly effective because its explosive rounds make it easier to eliminate enemies without precise aiming. You can also use the vehicle's automatic driving feature. Set a waypoint and press L3 while driving to follow the route, giving you more freedom to aim at enemies. Buzzers can also count, although they're generally harder to control while shooting.
Warning
The kills must occur while you're operating the vehicle and firing a weapon. Simply running enemies over won't count toward Drive-By; those kills contribute toward Roadkill instead. Try targeting enemy vehicles on open roads where you have room to maneuver. Ajay has somehow managed to make distracted driving even more dangerous. At least Kyrat doesn't seem particularly strict about traffic laws.
Trophy: Flame On!
Kill 50 enemies with fire (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill 50 enemies using fire. Fire-based weapons such as Molotov cocktails and the flamethrower count toward this trophy. You'll gain access to Molotov cocktails early in the campaign, while the flamethrower becomes available later. Use either weapon to eliminate hostile soldiers during story missions, outpost liberations, and other combat encounters. Continue until you've killed 50 enemies with fire to unlock the trophy. Recommended Method: Arena Flamethrower Challenge Once you've unlocked Shanath Arena, enter the Arena and select a weapon challenge featuring the flamethrower. These challenges provide numerous enemies in a confined area, allowing you to accumulate fire kills quickly. Repeat the challenge as needed until you've reached 50 kills.
Tip
The Arena method is particularly efficient because enemies spawn in waves, eliminating the need to travel between outposts looking for targets. You can also work toward this trophy naturally by using Molotov cocktails against groups of soldiers.
Warning
Make sure enemies actually die from fire damage. If you finish them off with another weapon, those kills won't count. Avoid using fire near civilians or Golden Path allies. Apparently, Ajay's solution to Kyrat's political problems now involves setting absolutely everything on fire. Pagan Min probably should have invested more heavily in fire extinguishers.
Trophy: From A Distance
Kill a target from 60m or more with an arrow or bolt (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill an enemy from at least 60 meters away using an arrow or bolt. The easiest approach is to use the Recurve Bow, which can be purchased from trading posts for 60,000 rupees. Purchase the Marksman Sight attachment as well, since it makes long-range shots considerably easier. Find an enemy-controlled outpost with a clear view of the guards from a nearby hillside. Place a waypoint on the outpost and move approximately 70–80 meters away. This gives you a little extra distance to compensate for enemies standing closer than the waypoint. Use the bow to aim at a stationary guard and fire an arrow. A headshot is recommended to ensure the target dies from a single hit. If you successfully kill the enemy from at least 60 meters away, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Look for guards standing on rooftops or watchtowers, since they're usually easier to spot and less likely to move unexpectedly. The Marksman Sight makes aiming easier, but you'll still need to compensate for the arrow's drop over longer distances.
Warning
The killing shot must be fired from at least 60 meters away. Position yourself farther back than the minimum to avoid falling just short of the requirement.

Trophy: Quad Kill
Kill 4 enemies simultaneously with a single explosion (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill four enemies simultaneously with a single explosion. One reliable method involves ambushing a Pagan's Wrath convoy. Find a convoy traveling along a road and position yourself ahead of its route. Place C4 in the middle of the road, preferably where multiple enemy vehicles will pass close together. Wait until the convoy reaches your position and detonate the C4 when enough enemies are within the blast radius. If four enemies die from the same explosion, the trophy will unlock. You can also earn this trophy by destroying a helicopter carrying four soldiers using an RPG, grenade launcher, or explosive arrow.
Tip
During the early story mission involving the defense of Banapur, an enemy helicopter arrives carrying reinforcements. If you have an explosive arrow available, destroying the helicopter before its passengers disembark can unlock the trophy.
Warning
All four enemies must die from one explosion. Multiple explosions or separate kills won't satisfy the requirement. Wait until the targets are grouped closely together before detonating your explosives.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x9h2MTo4L8&list=PLRr5L69yg_kFEx6aewdK5pwENGf46vJQH&index=5&pp=iAQB
Trophy: Roadkill
Run over 25 people (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Run over 25 people using vehicles. Find a car, truck, or other ground vehicle and drive along roads where hostile soldiers frequently appear. When you encounter Royal Army enemies, hit them with your vehicle to score a roadkill. Continue until you've run over 25 people to unlock the trophy. Kyrati Films racing activities are useful for this challenge because enemy soldiers frequently appear along the routes.
Tip
Focus on Royal Army soldiers rather than civilians or Golden Path allies to avoid unnecessary Karma penalties. You can work toward Roadkill while completing Gearhead and exploring the open world.
Warning
Enemies must be killed by the vehicle impact. Shooting enemies from the driver's seat contributes toward Drive-By instead. Ajay's driving instructor would probably have some serious concerns about his interpretation of the right of way.
Trophy: Two Birds
Using a sniper rifle, kill 2 targets with a single shot (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill two enemies with a single sniper rifle bullet. First, equip any sniper rifle. Attachments aren't required, although a scope can help you line up your shot. Travel to an enemy-controlled outpost or another location where soldiers are standing close together. Use your camera to tag the guards and observe their patrol routes. Wait until two enemies line up, with one standing directly behind the other. Aim through your sniper scope and fire a single shot that passes through both targets. If the bullet kills both enemies, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Outposts are excellent locations for this trophy because guards sometimes gather together or walk along the same patrol route. Aim for headshots when possible to increase your chances of killing both targets. If the enemies won't line up naturally, try using rocks to manipulate their positions.
Warning
Both enemies must die from the same bullet. Two quick consecutive shots won't satisfy the requirement. You can replay outposts through Outpost Master if you need additional opportunities.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKAyGu9OqZY&list=PLRr5L69yg_kFEx6aewdK5pwENGf46vJQH&index=3&pp=iAQB
Trophy: All Clear
Liberate all Outposts (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Liberate all 24 enemy-controlled outposts across Kyrat. Each outpost contains a group of hostile soldiers, sometimes including heavily armored enemies and hunters who can command dangerous wildlife. To liberate an outpost, eliminate every enemy stationed there. Before attacking, use your camera to tag guards and identify the alarm boxes. You can disable alarms by interacting with them or shooting their control panels. If an alarm is triggered, additional enemy reinforcements may arrive, making the liberation more difficult. Continue clearing outposts throughout the campaign until all 24 have been liberated. The trophy unlocks immediately after capturing the final outpost.
Tip
Prioritize hunters and heavy soldiers when planning your attacks. Hunters can detect you more easily and turn nearby animals against you, while heavy soldiers can absorb considerable damage. A silenced sniper rifle is excellent for eliminating guards from a distance, while explosives and light machine guns make clearing heavily defended locations faster. Liberating outposts without being detected or triggering alarms also awards bonus experience toward Fully Loaded.
Warning
You don't need to liberate the four fortresses for this trophy. Those are separate locations, and conquering two of them is required for Display of Fortitude. Once all outposts are liberated, you can replay individual locations through Outpost Master or reset them through the Gameplay settings if you still need enemy-related trophies.
Trophy: Custom-Fitted
Buy all attachments and paint schemes for a single weapon (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Purchase every available attachment and paint scheme for a single weapon. Visit a trading post and open the weapon customization menu. Choose a standard weapon that supports customization, preferably one with no available attachments. Purchase every paint scheme listed for that weapon, along with any attachments it supports. Once you've bought all available customization options for your chosen weapon, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Weapons without attachments are the easiest choice because you only need to purchase their paint schemes. Be prepared to spend a considerable amount of money. Fully customizing even a simple weapon can cost more than 200,000 rupees. All purchases also contribute toward Make It Rain.
Warning
Signature weapons aren't suitable for this trophy because they don't offer the standard customization options. Make sure you select a regular weapon with purchasable paint schemes. Ajay might be fighting to liberate an entire country, but apparently, matching his gun to his outfit remains an important part of the revolution.

Trophy: Defuser
Complete 3 Bomb Defusal quests (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete three Bomb Defusal quests during the campaign. These optional missions become available as you explore Kyrat and progress through the story. There are seven Bomb Defusal quests in total, but you only need to complete three. During each mission, you'll need to locate and disarm several explosives planted around an enemy-controlled area. Approach the location carefully and identify the guards protecting the bombs. Eliminate enemies quietly whenever possible, then move between the marked explosives and interact with each one to disarm it. Repeat this process until you've successfully completed three Bomb Defusal missions to unlock the trophy.
Tip
A silenced weapon or Recurve Bow makes these missions much easier. Use your camera to tag guards before entering the area and plan a safe route between the bombs.
Warning
If enemies detect you, they can activate the explosives, starting a countdown. You'll then have limited time to disarm the remaining bombs before the mission fails. Apparently, Kyrat's bomb disposal department consists entirely of one man who was supposed to be on a family visit.
Trophy: Deliver Us From Evil
Liberate 12 Outposts (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Liberate 12 enemy-controlled outposts in the campaign. Outposts are hostile locations scattered throughout Kyrat. Each contains Royal Army soldiers who must be eliminated before the location can be reclaimed. Approach an outpost and use your camera to identify guards, patrol routes, and alarm boxes. Eliminate every enemy inside the outpost to liberate it. Repeat this process until you've liberated 12 outposts to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Try to disable alarm boxes before engaging the guards. This prevents reinforcements from arriving and makes clearing the outpost much easier. Liberating outposts also unlocks fast-travel locations and new activities, helping you progress toward several other trophies. You'll eventually need to liberate all 24 outposts for All Clear, so this trophy is a natural milestone.
Trophy: Display Of Fortitude
Conquer 2 Fortresses (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Conquer two enemy-controlled fortresses. Kyrat contains four fortresses, each controlled by one of Pagan Min's key allies. Fortresses are larger and more heavily defended than ordinary outposts, with additional guards, alarms, and reinforcements. To conquer one, approach the fortress and eliminate every enemy inside. You can use stealth to disable its alarms and eliminate guards individually, or attack directly with powerful weapons and explosives. Once you've conquered two fortresses, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Wait until you've progressed far enough through the story to weaken the fortresses before attacking them. Weakened fortresses have fewer defenses and are significantly easier to liberate. You don't need to conquer all four fortresses for the Platinum.
Warning
Conquering a fortress prevents retaliation attacks against liberated outposts in its surrounding region. If you still need Defender, consider completing your three outpost defenses before taking over too many fortresses. If necessary, you can restore enemy-controlled locations later using Reset Outposts.
Trophy: Dr. Feelgood
Craft 15 syringes (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Craft a total of 15 syringes. Syringes provide healing and various temporary benefits during exploration and combat. To craft them, gather colored leaves from plants throughout Kyrat. Hold R1 to open the weapon wheel, then press L2 to access the syringe wheel. Highlight an available syringe recipe and press R2 to craft it. Repeat until you've crafted 15 syringes to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Health syringes are the easiest option because they require common green leaves. Automatically crafted health syringes also count toward the trophy, so you'll make progress naturally while gathering healing supplies. You can unlock additional syringe recipes through the Elephant skill tree. Apparently, Ajay's medical training consists of picking leaves, mixing them together, and hoping for the best. Fortunately, Kyrat's healthcare regulations seem fairly relaxed.
Trophy: Fixer-Upper
Purchase 3 items for the Ghale Homestead (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Purchase three upgrades for the Ghale Homestead. You'll visit the Ghale Homestead during the main story, but you'll need to complete the required early missions involving Yogi and Reggie before renovation purchases become available. Once the upgrades are unlocked, return to the homestead and find the groundskeeper sitting outside the building. Speak with him to access the list of available improvements. Purchase any three upgrades to unlock the trophy. There are 11 upgrades available in total, so you don't need to renovate the entire property.
Tip
Purchase the three cheapest available improvements if you're only interested in the trophy. Alternatively, consider buying the Buzzer upgrade for 400,000 rupees. It's expensive, but having a small helicopter available at your homestead makes traveling around Kyrat much more convenient. Apparently, Ajay's family home comes with a renovation budget that would make most homeowners reconsider their financial decisions.
Trophy: Fully Loaded
Learn all skills (Campaign only).
Type: Gold
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Learn every skill in the Tiger and Elephant skill trees. You'll earn experience points by completing missions, liberating outposts, collecting items, defeating enemies, and participating in activities throughout Kyrat. Every time you level up, you'll receive a skill point to spend. The two skill trees focus on different abilities: Tiger: Combat, weapon handling, stealth, and takedowns. Elephant: Survival, health, healing, and other useful upgrades. Some skills are locked behind story progression or specific challenges. These can include liberating outposts without being detected or completing objectives in Shangri-La. You'll also need to purchase all 10 levels of each of the four repeatable Elephant skills. Buying each of these skills once isn't enough. Once you've purchased every available skill and fully upgraded the repeatable abilities, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
This will likely be one of your final trophies because it requires a substantial amount of experience. Complete remaining side missions and collectibles to earn additional XP. If you've exhausted most activities, you can replay enemy-controlled locations using Outpost Master or Reset Outposts in the Gameplay settings. Rajgad Gulag, Pagan Min's fortress, is a useful location for farming experience through repeated takedowns.
Warning
Don't overlook the repeatable Elephant upgrades. Each has 10 levels, and all 40 upgrade levels are required. Also, check the descriptions of locked skills. Some require specific accomplishments rather than additional experience. Ajay may have started his adventure as an ordinary tourist, but by the time you're finished, he'll have enough qualifications to open his own extremely dangerous survival academy.
Trophy: Gearhead
Complete 3 Kyrati Films: Racing or Kyrati Films: Survival activities (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete three Kyrati Films: Racing or Kyrati Films: Survival activities. These optional driving challenges become available as you explore Kyrat and liberate outposts and bell towers. There are two eligible activity types: 1. Kyrati Films: Racing: Drive through a series of checkpoints and reach the finish line before the timer expires. 2. Kyrati Films: Survival: Complete a timed route that requires you to switch vehicles at designated points along the way. Finish any combination of three activities to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You don't need gold medals. Bronze, silver, and gold finishes all count, so focus on completing the challenges rather than achieving perfect times. There are nine activities of each type, giving you plenty of options. Apparently, being caught in a civil war doesn't mean you can skip your driving lessons.
Trophy: Hand Of Justice
Eliminate 3 Pagan's Wrath convoys (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Eliminate three Pagan's Wrath convoys. Pagan's Wrath convoys are groups of enemy vehicles that appear randomly while exploring Kyrat. Each convoy typically consists of three vehicles carrying Royal Army soldiers. When a convoy appears on your map, travel toward it and attack. Destroy the vehicles or eliminate the soldiers accompanying them to successfully stop the convoy. Repeat this process until you've eliminated three convoys to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The M-79 grenade launcher, RPG, or other explosive weapons make these encounters much easier. Try attacking from an elevated position or setting an ambush along the convoy's route. If you're also working toward Quad Kill, a well-placed explosive between vehicles may help you earn both trophies during the same encounter.

Trophy: Like A Bird
Fly 5000m total in the Wingsuit (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Travel a cumulative distance of 5,000 meters using the wingsuit. The wingsuit becomes available early in the campaign and can be purchased from a trading post for 25,000 rupees. Once you've acquired it, jump from a sufficiently high location and deploy the wingsuit to glide through the air. Continue using the wingsuit throughout your adventure until you've traveled a total of 5,000 meters. The trophy unlocks once you've reached the required distance. Recommended Location: Ghale Homestead Travel to the Ghale Homestead, which sits near a large cliff. Jump from the cliff and deploy your wingsuit, gliding as far as possible before landing. Fast-travel back to the homestead and repeat the process until you've covered the required distance. If you've purchased the Buzzer upgrade for the homestead, you can also fly the helicopter to a high altitude, jump out, and glide farther on each attempt.
Tip
Several story missions include wingsuit sequences, so you'll naturally accumulate distance as you progress. Save any dedicated grinding until after completing the campaign. You may already be close to 5,000 meters by then.
Warning
Only distance traveled while using the wingsuit counts. Flying in a Buzzer or descending with a parachute won't contribute. Remember to deploy your parachute before hitting the ground. Ajay might be an experienced action hero by now, but gravity remains undefeated.
Trophy: No One Left Behind
Rescue 15 hostages in Hostage Rescue quests (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Rescue a total of 15 hostages during Hostage Rescue quests. Hostage Rescue missions involve groups of civilians being held captive by enemy soldiers. Each mission typically contains four hostages guarded by hostile enemies. Approach the area carefully and use your camera to identify the guards and hostage locations. Eliminate the guards before they can execute the prisoners. Once the area is secure, rescue the surviving hostages. Continue completing Hostage Rescue missions until you've rescued 15 hostages in total.
Tip
Stealth is your best option. Use a silenced weapon or bow to eliminate guards without alerting the rest of the group. You only need to save one hostage for a mission to count as completed, but rescuing all four will make progress toward the trophy much faster. There are 14 Hostage Rescue quests available, and certain random Karma events can provide additional rescue opportunities.
Warning
If enemies become alerted, they may start executing hostages immediately. Prioritize guards standing closest to the prisoners and avoid explosives near the hostages. Ajay may be capable of taking on an entire army, but keeping four civilians alive requires a slightly more delicate approach than his usual collection of rocket launchers.
Trophy: Robin Hood
Hijack 3 Royal Cargo Trucks and return them to a liberated Outpost (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Hijack three Royal Cargo Trucks and deliver them to liberated outposts. Royal Cargo Trucks appear randomly on roads throughout Kyrat. Watch your minimap for their vehicle icons while exploring. When you spot a truck, intercept it and eliminate the driver without destroying the vehicle. Enter the truck and follow the objective marker to a liberated outpost. Drive the truck into the designated delivery area to complete the hijacking. Repeat this process until you've successfully delivered three trucks to unlock the trophy.
Tip
A well-placed shot at the driver is usually the quickest approach. Avoid using rockets or explosives because you need the truck intact. If you're having trouble finding trucks, spend some time driving along major roads instead of relying exclusively on fast travel.
Warning
Destroying a Royal Cargo Truck doesn't count toward this trophy. You must deliver the vehicle to a liberated outpost. For once, the Golden Path would prefer Ajay to bring something back without blowing it up. A surprisingly unreasonable request, given his usual methods.
Trophy: The Rarest Game
Complete 3 Kyrat Fashion Week quests (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete three Kyrat Fashion Week quests. Kyrat Fashion Week missions are special hunting assignments that require you to track down rare animals and collect their skins. These missions become available as you progress through the campaign and meet the required characters. Each quest sends you to a designated hunting area where a rare animal can be found. Pay attention to the weapon specified by the mission, as you'll need to kill the animal using the required equipment. After successfully hunting the animal, approach its body and skin it to complete the assignment. Finish three Kyrat Fashion Week quests to unlock the trophy.
Tip
There are nine Kyrat Fashion Week quests available, and completing more than the required three is worthwhile. The rare animal skins are used to craft some of the best equipment upgrades in the game. These hunts are especially useful if you're working toward Tricked Out or planning to maximize Ajay's carrying capacity.
Warning
Always check the mission's weapon requirement before attacking. Killing the rare animal with the wrong weapon can prevent you from completing the objective. Apparently, Kyrat's fashion industry takes its material requirements very seriously. Unfortunately, the animals weren't invited to the design meeting.
Trophy: Tread Lightly
Liberate any Outpost without triggering an alarm in any mode (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Liberate any enemy-controlled outpost without triggering an alarm. Approach an outpost and identify its alarm boxes using your camera. Many early outposts have only one alarm, making them ideal for this trophy. Sneak into the compound and disable the alarm by interacting with its control box or destroying it from a distance. Once the alarm is disabled, eliminate every enemy to liberate the outpost. As long as no alarm was triggered during the encounter, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You don't have to remain completely undetected. Enemies can discover your presence without preventing the trophy, provided they never successfully activate an alarm. For the easiest attempt, target an early outpost with a single alarm box and disable it before starting a firefight.
Warning
If an enemy activates an alarm before you disable it, that liberation won't count. Try another outpost or replay the location later. Remember: stealth is optional, but keeping the alarm silent isn't. Pagan's soldiers are welcome to panic; they just aren't allowed to phone their friends.

Trophy: Tricked Out
Craft 5 upgrades for your equipment (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Craft five equipment upgrades. Equipment upgrades improve Ajay's carrying capacity for weapons, ammunition, loot, and other supplies. To craft them, you'll need animal skins collected from wildlife throughout Kyrat. Hunt animals and approach their bodies to skin them. Once you've collected the necessary materials, open the Crafting menu using the touchpad. Select an available equipment upgrade and craft it. Repeat until you've crafted five upgrades to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Hunting animals with a bow, knife, or throwing knife rewards two skins instead of one, making it easier to collect crafting materials. Avoid explosives because they damage animal skins and prevent you from collecting usable pelts. Prioritize weapon holster upgrades early so you can carry more weapons into combat.
Warning
Some advanced equipment upgrades require rare animal skins obtained through Kyrat Fashion Week quests. You don't need these advanced upgrades for this trophy, but they're useful if you're planning to maximize your equipment.
Trophy: Trigger-Man
Complete 3 Assassination or Eye for an Eye quests (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete three Assassination or Eye for an Eye quests. These optional missions become available throughout Kyrat as you liberate outposts and explore new areas. Both mission types involve eliminating specific enemy commanders, but their objectives differ. Assassination Quests: Locate the designated commander and eliminate them without being detected. After killing the target, approach the body and loot it to complete the objective. Eye for an Eye Quests: Find the designated enemy commander and eliminate them using the specific weapon required by the mission. Afterward, photograph the target's body as instructed. You can complete any combination of the two mission types, provided you finish three quests in total. The trophy unlocks after completing your third eligible mission.
Tip
There are seven Assassination quests and eight Eye for an Eye quests, so you'll have plenty of opportunities. For Assassination missions, use your camera to identify guards and plan a stealthy route toward the target. For Eye for an Eye missions, check the required weapon before attacking. Showing up with the wrong equipment can turn a simple assignment into an unnecessarily complicated afternoon.
Trophy: Well-Rounded
Complete any 6 Hunting quests (Supplies, Control, Survival) (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete six hunting quests in any combination of Supply, Control, or Survival missions. Hunting quests become available as you liberate outposts and bell towers throughout Kyrat. There are three eligible mission types: 1. Hunting: Supplies: Hunt designated animals using a bow, collect their skins, and deliver the required materials to the marked container. 2. Hunting: Control: Travel to a designated area and eliminate the dangerous animals threatening nearby residents. 3. Hunting: Survival: Protect a group of three civilians from attacking animals. At least one civilian must survive for the mission to count as completed. Complete any six hunting missions across these categories to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Supply and Control missions are generally easier than Survival missions, so prioritize those if you want a straightforward route to the trophy. There are 14 eligible hunting quests, giving you plenty of options. If you're attempting a Survival mission, focus on eliminating predators before they reach the civilians. The people you're protecting are surprisingly fragile, considering they've apparently chosen to live in the world's most aggressive wildlife sanctuary.
Trophy: Defender
Repel 3 Outpost Retaliation Parties (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Successfully repel three enemy retaliation attacks against liberated outposts. After liberating an outpost, you may occasionally receive a notification that the Royal Army is attacking it. Travel to the marked location and eliminate the attacking soldiers before the defense objective ends. Successfully defend three outposts to unlock the trophy. These attacks occur randomly while exploring Kyrat, so keep an eye on your notifications as you progress through the campaign.
Tip
Complete retaliation events whenever they appear. You'll earn experience and Karma while working toward the trophy. If you're already near an outpost when an attack begins, respond immediately rather than fast-traveling elsewhere.
Warning
Conquering a fortress stops retaliation attacks against outposts in that fortress's territory. Try to earn Defender before conquering too many fortresses. If you've already stopped all the attacks, you can use Reset Outposts in the Gameplay settings to restore hostile activity. Don't worry if you ignore an attack, though. A liberated outpost won't permanently return to enemy control simply because you missed a defense event.
Trophy: Hat-Trick
Decide Yuma's fate (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission Payback and decide Yuma's fate. This occurs during the twenty-sixth main story mission. As the story progresses, Ajay will discover Yuma's location after confronting one of Pagan Min's body doubles. Follow the mission objectives until Ajay is captured and forced into a hallucination. During this sequence, you'll use a bow to fight your way through supernatural enemies before confronting Yuma. Complete the encounter and finish the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The hallucination and final confrontation are scripted parts of the story, so there's nothing special you need to do beyond completing the mission. Apparently, hallucinating your way through a boss fight is becoming something of a Far Cry tradition.
Trophy: Make It Rain
Spend 500,000 rupees total at Trading Posts (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Spend a cumulative total of 500,000 rupees at trading posts throughout Kyrat. Trading posts can be found at liberated outposts, safe houses, and other locations. You can spend rupees on weapons, ammunition, weapon attachments, paint schemes, collectible maps, equipment, and other available items. Simply continue purchasing items until your total spending reaches 500,000 rupees. The trophy unlocks automatically once you've spent enough.
Tip
This trophy should come naturally as you upgrade your arsenal and purchase useful equipment. Loot enemy bodies, open supply crates, and sell unwanted items to earn additional money. Purchasing collectible maps is especially helpful because they reveal items needed for several other trophies. You'll also need to buy three Ghale Homestead upgrades for Fixer-Upper, so you can make progress toward both trophies through normal spending.
Trophy: One Down
Decide De Pleur's fate (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission in which Ajay confronts Paul "De Pleur" Harmon and decides his fate. This occurs during the seventeenth main story mission. During the mission, you'll infiltrate De Pleur's compound and gather photographic evidence of his crimes. Continue following the objectives until you capture De Pleur and transport him to the Golden Path. Once the mission concludes, the trophy unlocks automatically.
Tip
Your decisions during the mission won't prevent you from earning the trophy. Focus on completing the objectives and escaping safely. Pagan Min has quite a collection of unpleasant associates. Unfortunately for De Pleur, Ajay has started working his way through the list.
Trophy: Overdose
Discover Shangri-La (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Discover Shangri-La by completing the required story mission. This occurs during the fifteenth main story mission. As the campaign progresses, Ajay will experience Shangri-La, a mysterious realm filled with supernatural enemies, unusual environments, and a helpful white tiger. Follow the mission objectives, defeat the enemies encountered along the way, and complete the sequence. The trophy unlocks automatically after finishing the mission.
Tip
Only the initial Shangri-La mission is required for this story trophy. Additional Shangri-La missions aren't necessary for the Platinum itself, although some related activities may help satisfy skill-unlock requirements for Fully Loaded.
Trophy: Quick Learner
Learn 10 skills (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Learn 10 skills from the Tiger and Elephant skill trees. Ajay earns experience points by completing missions, defeating enemies, liberating outposts, collecting items, and participating in activities throughout Kyrat. When you've earned enough experience, you'll receive a skill point. Open the Skills menu and spend your points on abilities from either skill tree: Tiger: Focuses on combat, weapon handling, and takedowns. Elephant: Improves survival, healing, and other useful abilities. Purchase any combination of 10 skills to unlock the trophy.
Tip
This trophy should unlock naturally during the early stages of your campaign. Prioritize useful abilities such as Vehicle Takedown, Elephant Rider, and upgrades that improve your combat effectiveness. You'll eventually need to unlock every skill for Fully Loaded, so keep earning experience and purchasing abilities throughout the game.
Trophy: Shutterbug
Tag 25 enemies using the camera (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Tag 25 enemies using Ajay's camera. Press Up on the D-pad to equip the camera. Aim at hostile soldiers to tag them. Tagged enemies will remain marked, allowing you to track their movements even when they move behind cover. Continue tagging different enemies until you've marked 25 to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Make a habit of scouting enemy-controlled outposts before attacking. You'll work toward Shutterbug while identifying guards, alarm boxes, and potential threats. This trophy should unlock naturally during the early stages of your campaign. Apparently, Ajay's camera has become one of the most effective weapons in Kyrat, despite being considerably less explosive than everything else in his backpack.
Trophy: The Good Fight
Reach Karma Level 2, and purchase any Guns For Hire upgrade (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Reach Karma Level 2 and purchase a Guns for Hire upgrade. You'll earn Karma by helping the Golden Path, completing Karma events, rescuing hostages, and spinning Mani Wheels throughout Kyrat. Once you've accumulated enough Karma to reach Level 2, visit any trading post. Open the upgrades section and purchase an available Guns for Hire upgrade. The trophy unlocks once you've purchased the upgrade while at Karma Level 2 or higher.
Tip
Random Karma events are a quick way to increase your level. These usually involve rescuing civilians or eliminating Royal Army soldiers. Spinning Mani Wheels also rewards Karma and contributes toward Right Tributes, so you can progress toward both trophies simultaneously.
Warning
Reaching Karma Level 2 alone isn't enough. You must also purchase a Guns for Hire upgrade. Killing civilians or Golden Path soldiers reduces your Karma, so try to avoid unnecessary friendly-fire incidents. Ajay's reputation is apparently just as important as his ammunition supply.
Trophy: The King Is Dead
Decide Pagan Min's fate (Campaign only).
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the final confrontation with Pagan Min and decide his fate. Near the end of the main campaign, Ajay will reach Pagan Min's palace and confront the dictator. During their conversation, you'll have the opportunity to either kill Pagan or allow him to explain his connection to Ajay's family. Both choices satisfy the trophy requirement. Finish the confrontation to unlock The King Is Dead.
Tip
Your decision doesn't affect the Platinum. If you let Pagan speak, you'll learn additional details about Ajay's parents and the history of Kyrat. You can also choose to eliminate Pagan immediately if you'd prefer a quicker conclusion. After spending the entire game fighting his army, it's only fitting that the final boss encounter involves a surprisingly lengthy dinner conversation.
Trophy: The Sky Is Falling
Perform a takedown from a Buzzer (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Perform a vehicle takedown from a Buzzer. First, unlock the Vehicle Takedown skill from the Tiger skill tree. Next, find a Buzzer, the small helicopter commonly located near outposts, bell towers, and other settlements. Enter the Buzzer and search for an enemy-controlled vehicle traveling along a road. Fly low alongside the vehicle, positioning yourself close to its driver. When the Vehicle Takedown prompt appears, press R3 to jump from the Buzzer and eliminate the driver. Successfully performing the takedown unlocks the trophy.
Tip
One of the easiest opportunities occurs during the final Hurk mission, where you're provided with a Buzzer and instructed to perform a vehicle takedown. You can also attempt the trophy during free roam by targeting Royal Cargo Trucks or other enemy vehicles.
Warning
You must have the Vehicle Takedown skill unlocked before attempting this maneuver. The Buzzer needs to be positioned close enough to the enemy driver's side for the takedown prompt to appear. Ajay has apparently decided that helicopters are best used as extremely elaborate ways to enter somebody else's car.

Trophy: Two Down
Decide Noore's fate (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the twenty-first main story mission and decide Noore's fate. During this mission, Ajay must infiltrate Shanath Arena and survive a series of encounters involving hostile soldiers and dangerous animals. Follow the objectives and fight your way through the arena until you reach Noore. You'll eventually have the opportunity to determine her fate. Complete the confrontation and finish the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Whether you kill or spare Noore doesn't affect the trophy. Choose whichever outcome you prefer. Between the armed guards and the unpredictable wildlife, the arena is a pretty good argument against buying season tickets.
Trophy: Welcome To Kyrat
Join the Golden Path (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the eighth main story mission and officially join the Golden Path. During the opening portion of the campaign, Ajay Ghale becomes involved in the Golden Path's rebellion against Pagan Min. Follow the main story objectives until you've completed the mission that establishes Ajay as a member of the resistance. The trophy unlocks automatically when the mission is completed.
Tip
This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed through normal campaign progression. No particular dialogue choices or optional objectives are required.
Welcome to Kyrat! What begins as a simple trip to scatter your mother's ashes quickly turns into a civil war involving a ruthless dictator, a rebellious resistance movement, and enough heavily armed soldiers to make you seriously question your travel arrangements. You'll play as Ajay Ghale, helping the Golden Path fight against Pagan Min while exploring the beautiful and occasionally terrifying Himalayan wilderness. Fortunately, the Platinum only requires one campaign playthrough, with no difficulty-related or permanently missable trophies.
Before getting too comfortable in Kyrat, prioritize the online trophies. You'll need to complete a public match in each of the three Battles of Kyrat modes for Renaissance Man, play a Top Rated map for Community Surprise, and complete two cooperative objectives for Brother in Arms and Changing Lanes. These online features have experienced connectivity problems in the past, so it's worth checking that you can access them before investing heavily in the campaign. For Changing Lanes, unlock the Vehicle Takedown skill and perform a vehicle takedown from the passenger seat while your co-op partner drives. For Brother in Arms, join another player's campaign as Hurk and help liberate an outpost.
Once you're ready to explore, start activating bell towers to reveal the map and liberating enemy outposts to unlock fast-travel locations. Upgrade your weapon holster early so you can carry a more versatile arsenal, and hunt animals to gather skins for equipment upgrades. Make a habit of tagging enemies with your camera and distracting guards with rocks, since these contribute toward Shutterbug and Misdirection. Also, defend any liberated outposts that come under attack. You'll need to repel three retaliation parties for Defender, and taking over nearby fortresses can stop those attacks from occurring. Apparently, winning territory is only half the job. You also have to keep answering the door when Pagan's army comes knocking.
As the story progresses, continue helping the Golden Path while completing activities across southern Kyrat. The campaign will introduce you to several major characters and eventually require decisions involving Amita, Sabal, and Pagan Min. These choices don't affect the Platinum, so follow whichever path you prefer. Complete story missions while steadily working toward All Clear, which requires liberating all 24 outposts, and End Transmission, which requires activating eight bell towers. You'll also need to conquer two fortresses for Display of Fortitude, but it's generally better to wait until story progression weakens their defenses.
Start collecting items as you explore rather than leaving everything for the end. You'll need to remove 15 Masks of Yalung, tear down 30 propaganda posters, collect 10 Lost Letters, spin 10 Mani Wheels, and read 10 notes. Purchase collectible maps from trading posts when available to make searching easier. You should also complete side activities whenever they appear nearby, including hunting quests, assassination missions, hostage rescues, bomb defusal missions, and Kyrati Films challenges. These activities provide experience and money while helping you work toward several trophies simultaneously.
This is also the ideal time to build progress toward combat trophies. Ride elephants and trample enemies for Tusker, use mortars for Reign of Death, and experiment with fire, explosives, and vehicle combat whenever convenient. Keep earning experience and purchasing skills in both the Tiger and Elephant skill trees. Fully Loaded requires learning every skill, including all repeatable upgrade levels, so don't neglect your progression. Ajay may be fighting for the future of Kyrat, but there's nothing wrong with taking occasional breaks to ride an elephant into an enemy compound. Some problems simply require a more dramatic entrance.
As you advance into northern Kyrat, stronger enemies, additional outposts, and new opportunities will become available. Continue completing the story while finishing any remaining bell towers, outposts, and fortresses. You'll eventually earn the story-related trophies for confronting Pagan Min's key allies and deciding his fate. The final choices don't prevent you from earning the Platinum, so there's no need to replay the campaign for a different ending. You can return to the open world afterward to finish outstanding objectives.
By this stage, you should have access to enough weapons and abilities to tackle the more demanding combat challenges. Try earning From a Distance with a bow kill from at least 60 meters, Two Birds by killing two enemies with one sniper rifle shot, and The Sky Is Falling by performing a takedown from a Buzzer. Work toward 50 fire kills for Flame On!, 25 shooting-and-driving kills for Drive-By, and 25 vehicle kills for Roadkill. If you've unlocked the Elephant Rider skill, use elephants against enemy groups to build your 30 kills for Tusker. The local wildlife might be dangerous, but at least one animal is willing to help with your trophy collection.
Before clearing every remaining enemy-controlled location, check your progress on Defender and other combat trophies. Once a fortress has been conquered, retaliation attacks stop occurring at outposts in its region. You can restore enemy activity later by resetting outposts, but taking care of these objectives naturally will save time. Also, visit the Arena and begin working toward The People's Champ, which requires reaching Arena Rank 5. Weapon challenges are a useful way to earn Arena points, and the flamethrower challenge can help you progress toward Flame On!. Nothing says personal growth quite like becoming a respected gladiator in a country you originally planned to visit for a few days.
After completing the story, use free roam to finish any remaining collectibles, side missions, and combat challenges. Check your map for missing Lost Letters, Masks of Yalung, Mani Wheels, and propaganda posters. Complete three Kyrat Fashion Week quests for The Rarest Game and craft five equipment upgrades for Tricked Out. Purchase three improvements for the Ghale Homestead to earn Fixer-Upper, craft 15 syringes for Dr. Feelgood, and spend a cumulative 500,000 rupees at trading posts for Make It Rain. If you still need The Good Fight, reach Karma Level 2 and purchase a Guns for Hire upgrade.
Fully Loaded may be one of your final single-player trophies. It requires purchasing every skill in both skill trees, including all ten levels of each repeatable Elephant-path upgrade. Some skills have additional requirements beyond experience points, so check their descriptions carefully. If you need more experience or additional enemies for combat trophies, replay an outpost through Outpost Master or use Reset Outposts in the Gameplay settings to restore enemy-controlled locations. For Misdirection, allow enemies to fully investigate your thrown rocks and return to their patrols before attempting another distraction. For Reign of Death, replay an outpost with a mortar and eliminate enemy reinforcements until you've reached 30 kills.
Finally, confirm that you've earned all four online trophies: Renaissance Man, Community Surprise, Brother in Arms, and Changing Lanes. Renaissance Man requires finishing public matches in Outpost, Demon Mask, and Propaganda, while Community Surprise requires playing a Top Rated user-created map. If matchmaking is quiet, organizing a group can make the multiplayer requirements easier, provided the services are functioning. Once all 50 other base-game trophies are unlocked, Master of Kyrat will award your Platinum. Congratulations! You've survived a civil war, conquered enemy fortresses, mastered an entire arsenal, and ridden elephants into battle. All things considered, scattering your mother's ashes turned into a surprisingly productive trip.
