Trophy: We Always Had Faith In You
Obtain all the Trophies.
Type: Platinum
Unlock Details
Earn all 50 other base-game trophies in Far Cry 5 to unlock the Platinum.
Trophy: ARCADE Competitor
Win 10 featured maps in Multiplayer (Arcade only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Win 10 multiplayer matches on featured maps in Far Cry Arcade. From the Arcade menu, navigate to Home → Browse Multiplayer Maps. Press Square to open the filters and select: Game Mode: All Multiplayer Category: Featured This allows you to identify which multiplayer maps currently qualify for the trophy. Next, enter Arcade multiplayer matchmaking and join a competitive match. During the map selection process, vote for a featured map whenever one becomes available. Win the match while playing on a featured map to earn progress toward the trophy. Repeat until you've accumulated 10 victories on featured multiplayer maps. The trophy unlocks after your tenth qualifying win.
Tip
Team Deathmatch is generally easier than standard Deathmatch because your team only needs to win the match. In regular Deathmatch, you'll typically need to finish first individually. You can win multiple matches on the same featured map, so replaying a successful map is a good strategy. If you're struggling to find qualifying matches, organize a private boosting session with another player. The supplied guide reports that private matches can be completed with as few as two players.
Warning
Winning on a regular multiplayer map doesn't count. The map must be classified as Featured. Simply completing a featured match isn't enough either; your side must win. Featured maps can change over time, and normal matchmaking doesn't guarantee they'll appear in the voting selection. This is likely to be one of the more time-consuming online trophies, so prioritize it while multiplayer services and suitable players are available.
Trophy: ARCADE Enthusiast
Successfully complete 10 featured Arcade maps in Solo or Co-op (Arcade only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Successfully complete 10 featured Arcade maps in Solo or Co-op mode. From the main menu, enter Far Cry Arcade. Navigate to Home → Play Solo & Co-op. Open the map filters by pressing Square, then select the Featured category. Choose any featured solo or cooperative map and launch it. Complete the map's objectives to register progress toward the trophy. Repeat until you've successfully completed 10 featured maps. You can replay the same featured map multiple times, so finding a short and easy map can make this trophy considerably faster.
Tip
Look for featured maps with straightforward objectives and short completion times. Completing these maps also awards Arcade experience, helping you work toward Level 20 for ARCADE Player. You don't need to complete 10 different maps. Repeating the same featured map is allowed.
Warning
After completing a map, exit back to the Arcade menu rather than selecting Replay. Using the Replay option has been reported to prevent subsequent completions from registering correctly. Only maps marked as Featured count toward this trophy. Regular community maps won't satisfy the requirement.
Trophy: ARCADE Hero
Play the 'Arcade Hero' mode 5 times (Arcade only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete five maps using Arcade Hero mode in Far Cry Arcade. From the main menu, enter Far Cry Arcade and navigate to the Community section. Select Play Arcade Hero and choose either of the available Arcade Hero options. Arcade Hero automatically selects community-created maps for you to play, offering a variety of challenges and environments. Launch a map and complete its objectives to register progress toward the trophy. Repeat until you've successfully completed five Arcade Hero maps. The trophy unlocks after your fifth completed map.
Tip
You can choose either Arcade Hero option, so pick whichever you find more enjoyable. Completing these maps also awards Arcade experience, helping you progress toward ARCADE Player, which requires reaching Level 20.
Warning
You must finish each map for it to count. Simply launching a map and quitting won't satisfy the requirement. Make sure the completion screen appears before returning to the Arcade menu.
Trophy: ARCADE Hunter
Kill 100 enemies in Arcade Multiplayer maps (Arcade only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Kill 100 enemy players in Far Cry Arcade multiplayer matches. From the main menu, enter Far Cry Arcade and select the competitive multiplayer option. Join a multiplayer match and eliminate opposing players using any available weapons. Continue participating in matches until you've accumulated 100 kills against other human players. The kills are cumulative, so you don't need to earn all 100 in a single match. The trophy unlocks once you've reached the required total.
Tip
Deathmatch modes are useful because they provide frequent opportunities to engage enemy players. You can work toward ARCADE Hunter while pursuing ARCADE Competitor, which requires winning 10 matches on featured multiplayer maps. If matchmaking is quiet, you can organize a private match with another player to work toward the kill requirement.
Warning
Only kills against other human players in Arcade multiplayer count. Eliminating AI enemies in solo or cooperative Arcade maps won't contribute toward the trophy.
Trophy: ARCADE Player
Reach level 20 in the Arcade (Arcade only).
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Reach Level 20 in Far Cry Arcade. Far Cry Arcade is the game's online mode, featuring community-created maps, solo and cooperative challenges, and competitive multiplayer. You earn Arcade experience points by completing matches and activities, including: 1. Solo Arcade Maps: Complete community-created single-player challenges. 2. Co-op Arcade Maps: Finish cooperative maps with another player. 3. Multiplayer Matches: Participate in competitive Arcade matches against other players. Continue completing Arcade activities and earning experience until you reach Level 20. The trophy should unlock once your Arcade level reaches the required milestone.
Tip
Work toward this trophy while completing the other Arcade requirements. In particular, ARCADE Enthusiast requires completing 10 featured solo or co-op maps, while ARCADE Competitor requires winning 10 matches on featured multiplayer maps. These activities award experience, so you may reach Level 20 naturally while pursuing the other trophies. If you're still short of experience afterward, continue completing Arcade maps until you reach the required level.
Warning
ARCADE Player has reported progression and tracking issues, including cases where players unexpectedly lost Arcade levels. Avoid repeatedly abandoning matches, and allow each completed activity to finish and register its rewards before leaving. This trophy also requires access to Far Cry Arcade's online services, so connectivity problems may affect your ability to progress.
Trophy: Hitting it Off
Play 3 quests with a friend (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete three campaign quests with a friend in cooperative play. Far Cry 5 allows two players to explore Hope County together, but campaign co-op requires inviting someone directly rather than using random matchmaking. Invite a friend through the main menu or the online options in the pause menu. Once your friend joins, complete any three eligible activities together. These can include: Story Missions: Complete main campaign objectives. Side Missions: Finish optional missions around Hope County. Prepper Stashes: Solve the environmental puzzles and reach the hidden supplies. Outpost Liberations: Capture enemy-controlled outposts. After completing three qualifying quests together, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Prepper Stashes are an excellent option because they're relatively quick and reward both players with perk points. Make sure the host has at least three unfinished objectives available before starting. You can also replay outposts through Outpost Master if you've already liberated every location.
Warning
Both players should be present when the quest is completed and turned in. Only the host's campaign progression is saved, so joining another player's game won't advance your own story or mission completion. However, personal progression such as perks, challenges, and purchases is retained.
Trophy: Pack Rat
Grab 1 of each collectible item. You never know when it will come in handy (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect at least one item from each of the six collectible categories scattered throughout Hope County. You don't need to collect every item in each category. Just finding one of each is enough. The required collectibles are: 1. Vietnam Lighters: Found throughout Hope County, often hidden in bunkers and other secluded locations. Associated with Wendell's What They Carried quest in Holland Valley. 2. Comic Books: Found inside houses, shops, and other buildings. Associated with Nadine's Golden Age Nostalgia quest in Holland Valley. 3. Whiskey Casks: Hidden underwater in rivers and lakes. Associated with Sherri's Whiskey River quest in Henbane River. 4. Baseball Cards: Found in buildings and settlements throughout the county. Associated with George's Grand Slam quest in the Whitetail Mountains. 5. Cheeseburger Bobbleheads: Small collectible figures found in various locations. Associated with Dave's Mint Condition quest in the Whitetail Mountains. 6. Vinyl Crates: Music record collections hidden in buildings and other locations. Associated with Wheaty's Turn the Tables quest in the Whitetail Mountains. Once you've collected one item from all six categories, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Speak with the relevant quest givers to unlock their collectible missions. After starting each quest, you can purchase maps from vendors that reveal the associated collectible locations. Use the accompanying video guide to locate one easily accessible item from each category.
Warning
You only need one of each collectible type, not every collectible in Hope County. Collecting all items is required for certain side quests and full game completion, but it isn't necessary for Pack Rat or the Platinum. Apparently, the Deputy has decided that collecting baseball cards and comic books is just as important as dismantling a dangerous cult. Everyone needs a hobby.

Trophy: Been There, Done That
Complete all Hunting & Fishing Challenges (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Complete every Hunting and Fishing Challenge in the campaign. Open the Challenges menu using the touchpad to track your progress. You'll need to complete challenges involving 16 animal species and 12 fish species. For hunting, kill and skin the required number of each animal: Animal Required Deer 1 Pronghorn 1 Elk 2 Caribou 4 Bison 3 Moose 2 Hare 1 Boar 2 Skunk 3 Wolverine 3 Wolf 5 Cougar 4 Black Bear 2 Grizzly Bear 3 Turkey 2 Eagle 3 For fishing, catch at least one of each of these 12 species: Kokanee Salmon Arctic Grayling Golden Trout Rock Bass Smallmouth Bass Largemouth Bass Bull Trout Lake Trout Rainbow Trout Chinook Salmon Pallid Sturgeon Paddlefish Sturgeon Once you've completed every required challenge, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Use the animal and fishing markers on your map to find hunting grounds and fishing spots. Bring Boomer as your companion when hunting. He can help identify nearby animals, making elusive species easier to locate. Hares and skunks can be particularly frustrating to find. Try searching around Harris Residence in the northern part of Holland Valley. You'll naturally catch most of the required fish while working toward Hope County Master Angler, so consider tackling both trophies together.
Warning
For hunting challenges, killing an animal isn't enough. You must also skin it for the kill to count. Avoid explosives and fire weapons when hunting because they can destroy the animal's usable remains. You don't need to hunt every animal species in the game. Bulls, cows, dogs, ducks, pigs, goats, snakes, and other non-listed animals aren't required. Apparently, saving Hope County also requires completing a wildlife census. Joseph Seed really picked the wrong deputy to mess with.

Trophy: Big Spender
Spend $50000 in Vehicle Shops (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Spend a cumulative total of $50,000 at vehicle shops throughout Hope County. Vehicle shops are marked on your map with green icons representing cars, boats, planes, or helicopters. Visit any vehicle shop and purchase vehicles using regular in-game dollars. Every eligible vehicle purchase contributes toward the trophy, regardless of the vehicle type. Continue purchasing vehicles until your total spending reaches $50,000 to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Prioritize buying vehicles you'll actually use, such as armed helicopters, planes, and fast ground vehicles. Some of these cost several thousand dollars, helping you reach the spending requirement faster. Complete missions, Prepper Stashes, and hunting or fishing activities to earn additional money. Selling animal skins and fish is particularly useful when you're short on cash. You'll also earn Stocked Garage after purchasing three vehicles.
Warning
Purchases made with Silver Bars don't count toward this trophy. Make sure you're spending regular in-game dollars. Only spending at vehicle shops counts, so money spent on weapons, clothing, and ammunition won't contribute. Apparently, saving Hope County requires an impressive collection of vehicles. The Deputy's insurance premiums must be absolutely horrifying.
Trophy: Hope County Master Angler
Acquire all 4 Fishing Rods (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Acquire all four fishing rods in Far Cry 5. Two rods can be purchased from stores, while the remaining two require completing fishing quests and beating the county's fishing records. Here's how to obtain each rod: 1. Basic Fishing Rod: Purchase it from a store for $300 or collect one for free at many fishing locations. 2. Natural Fishing Rod: Purchase it from a store for $800. 3. Wonderboy Fishing Rod: Complete Skylar Kohrs' three fishing missions, starting at Dylan's Master Bait Shop in the Whitetail Mountains: - Tools of the Trade: Help Skylar with her equipment, then catch three trout. - Gone Fishin': Catch two of the three requested fish types: bass, sturgeon, or salmon. - The Admiral: Catch the enormous fish known as the Admiral to finish Skylar's questline and unlock the Wonderboy Rod. 4. Old Betsy Fishing Rod: Beat all 12 fishing records displayed on the county's record boards. For Old Betsy, you'll need to catch fish heavier than the following records at Hard fishing spots: Fish Record to Beat Region Bull Trout 21 lbs Any Golden Trout 4 lbs Any Lake Trout 37 lbs Any Rainbow Trout 28 lbs Any Pallid Sturgeon 55 lbs Holland Valley Paddlefish Sturgeon 112 lbs Holland Valley Smallmouth Bass 6 lbs Henbane River Largemouth Bass 8 lbs Henbane River Rock Bass 3 lbs Henbane River Chinook Salmon 27 lbs Whitetail Mountains Kokanee Salmon 6 lbs Whitetail Mountains Arctic Grayling 3 lbs Whitetail Mountains You can view your progress on the fishing record boards at Fall's End, Hope County Jail, and the Wolf's Den. A blue ribbon appears beside a fish once you've beaten its record. After breaking all 12 records, return to one of the record boards to unlock Old Betsy and earn the trophy.
Tip
Purchase the Fisher King perk for four perk points before attempting the fishing records. It allows you to use specialized bait and makes difficult fish easier to catch. Use the appropriate lure for each fish type: - Trout Bugger: Trout - Bass Popper: Bass - Salmon Egg: Salmon - Hybrid Sturgeon: Sturgeon The Wonderboy Rod is especially useful for completing the Hard fishing challenges. When a hooked fish starts pulling too hard and your line turns orange or red, briefly stop reeling to reduce the tension. Repeat until you can safely bring it in.
Warning
All 12 records must be beaten at Hard fishing locations. Catching a sufficiently heavy fish at an ordinary fishing spot won't satisfy the record requirement. The trophy may not unlock immediately after your final catch. Return to a fishing record board to register completion. This is one of the longest Platinum objectives. Apparently, defeating a heavily armed cult is straightforward compared with convincing a particularly stubborn fish to leave the water.

Trophy: Ace Killer
Destroy 10 planes while driving any aerial vehicle (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Destroy 10 planes while piloting an aircraft. You must be controlling a plane or helicopter when you destroy the target aircraft. Enemy planes encountered during aerial combat count, but there's a much easier method using vehicles purchased or unlocked through the campaign. Recommended Method: Aircraft Garage Obtain an armed aircraft, such as the Carmina plane unlocked during the Air Raid mission in John Seed's region. Fly your aircraft to an airfield with an aircraft shop, such as Nick Rye's airfield. Land near the aircraft spawn point and exit your vehicle. Use the aircraft shop to spawn another plane. Return to your original armed aircraft and destroy the newly spawned plane. Repeat the process until you've destroyed 10 planes. The trophy unlocks after your tenth qualifying aircraft destruction.
Tip
This method is considerably faster than searching Hope County for enemy pilots. Use an aircraft with reliable guns or rockets so you can destroy the spawned planes quickly.
Warning
You must be inside an aircraft when destroying the target plane. Shooting down planes while standing on the ground won't count. The game normally prevents you from spawning multiple aircraft simultaneously, which is why you need to bring your original aircraft to the airfield before spawning another. Apparently, the Deputy has discovered the world's most expensive shooting gallery. Fortunately, the planes can be replaced.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqnfZms-ToM&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=11&pp=iAQB0gcJCTYMAYcqIYzv
Trophy: Death From Above
Drop a bomb from a plane and destroy or disable 4 vehicles at once (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Destroy or disable four vehicles simultaneously using a single bomb dropped from an aircraft. First, obtain a plane equipped with bombs, such as the Carmina, which becomes available through the Air Raid mission in John Seed's region. You can attempt this against enemy vehicles, but arranging four vehicles yourself is much easier. Recommended Method: Vehicle Garage Obtain a plane capable of dropping bombs and fly it to a vehicle garage. Park the plane near the garage's vehicle spawn point. Spawn four small vehicles, such as ATVs or quad bikes. Move the vehicles close together, positioning them near your parked aircraft. Enter your plane and take off. Use the bomb sight with L2, then press R2 to drop a bomb directly onto the grouped vehicles. If all four vehicles are destroyed or disabled by the same explosion, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Use small vehicles because the game may remove previously spawned larger vehicles when you attempt to summon too many. You don't need enemies inside the vehicles, so this method avoids relying on cult patrols gathering in the perfect location.
Warning
All four vehicles must be destroyed or disabled by a single bomb. Multiple bombs won't satisfy the requirement. The garage method may also destroy your own plane if you drop the bomb too close, but the trophy can still unlock. Apparently, Hope County's insurance companies have completely given up on the Deputy.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJrF6OAnfbw&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=10&pp=iAQB0gcJCTYMAYcqIYzv
Trophy: Explosive Surprise
Kill 5 enemies with sabotaged vehicles (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill five enemies using sabotaged vehicles. First, unlock the Saboteur perk for seven perk points. This ability allows you to rig vehicles with explosives that detonate after a short delay. Find an enemy-controlled vehicle or another suitable vehicle near hostile cultists. Approach the vehicle's hood and hold Square to sabotage it. After approximately 10 seconds, the vehicle will explode. Lure or keep enemies close enough to the vehicle that they're killed by the explosion. Repeat until you've killed five enemies using sabotaged vehicles to unlock the trophy. Recommended Method: Roadside Patrols Travel to a road in a cult-controlled region. Wait for an enemy vehicle carrying multiple cultists. Eliminate the driver while leaving at least one passenger alive. Approach the vehicle and sabotage it. Keep the remaining enemy near the vehicle until it explodes. Repeat until you've earned five kills.
Tip
You can also sabotage parked vehicles inside enemy outposts and attract guards toward them using gunfire. Try to find vehicles with multiple enemies nearby so you can potentially earn several kills from one explosion.
Warning
Only kills caused by sabotaged vehicle explosions count. Ordinary grenades, rockets, and manually placed explosives won't satisfy the requirement. This trophy can require several attempts because enemies may move away from vehicles before they detonate. The Saboteur perk is essential, so make sure you've purchased it before attempting the trophy. Apparently, the Deputy has discovered that car maintenance is much more entertaining when the vehicle explodes afterward.

Trophy: Fertilizing the Land
Using a tractor, obliterate 5 enemies (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill five enemies by running them over with a tractor. You can purchase a tractor from certain vehicle shops for approximately $1,000, but one of the easiest opportunities is at Nolan's Fly Shop in Faith Seed's region. Recommended Location: Nolan's Fly Shop — Henbane River Travel to Nolan's Fly Shop, located east of Hope County Jail. While the outpost is still controlled by cultists, you'll find a tractor parked on the property. Approach the location quietly and climb into the tractor. Drive toward nearby cultists and run them over to score tractor kills. Repeat until you've killed five enemies to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You don't need to earn all five kills during a single attempt or with the same tractor. If enemies destroy your tractor, simply find or purchase another one and continue building your kill count. Bring medkits and consider playing on Easy difficulty because tractors are slow and leave you vulnerable to enemy gunfire.
Warning
The kills must come from running enemies over with a tractor. Ordinary cars, trucks, and other vehicles won't count. If you've already liberated Nolan's Fly Shop, you can use Outpost Master after liberating all 20 outposts to restore enemy activity. Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of a heavily armed doomsday cult quite like a deputy approaching at 12 miles per hour in agricultural equipment.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Nri3dPVvys&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=5&pp=iAQB
Trophy: Ghost Kill
Perform a Headshot kill with any bow or rifle on any cultist more than 150m away (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill a cultist with a headshot from more than 150 meters away using a bow or rifle. The easiest approach is to use a sniper rifle with a high-powered scope. Purchase or obtain a suitable sniper rifle, then equip its best available scope to improve your long-range accuracy. Recommended Location: Sacred Skies Youth Camp — Henbane River Travel to Sacred Skies Youth Camp while it's still controlled by Eden's Gate. Find an elevated position overlooking the outpost and use your binoculars to tag the cultists. Aim at one of the tagged enemies and use the distance marker to confirm that you're more than 150 meters away. For a safer margin, position yourself approximately 160–180 meters from your target. Look for a stationary cultist, preferably one standing near a mounted weapon or guard position. Aim for the head and fire. If the headshot kills the cultist from the required distance, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Enemies standing still are much easier targets than patrolling guards. Remember that bullets drop slightly over long distances, so you may need to aim just above the target's head. If you're struggling to find a good position, use an outpost surrounded by open terrain or nearby hills.
Warning
The kill must be a headshot from more than 150 meters away. Body shots and closer kills won't count. If you've already liberated every outpost, use Outpost Master to restore enemy activity and attempt the trophy again. Apparently, the Deputy has decided that ordinary police marksmanship qualifications weren't nearly demanding enough.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNNb_2ZQWzY&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=4&pp=iAQB
Trophy: Ignoble Beasts
Kill a bison using only melee weapons (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill a bison using only melee weapons. Bison can be found at designated hunting grounds throughout Hope County. Check your map for a bison hunting location and travel there with a melee weapon equipped. The easiest method is to use The Furious, a homeopathic consumable that dramatically increases your melee damage. Craft The Furious using: 2 Bliss Oil 2 Prairie Fire Once you've located a bison, consume The Furious and attack it with a melee weapon, such as a baseball bat or shovel. With the effect active, a single powerful hit should be enough to kill the animal and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Use The Furious to make this challenge significantly easier. Without it, a bison can take numerous melee hits to defeat, giving it plenty of opportunities to charge and knock you down.
Warning
Only melee weapon damage counts. Don't shoot the bison or use explosives to weaken it beforehand. Apparently, Hope County's wildlife management department has completely abandoned the concept of keeping a safe distance.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RYtnLg50NE&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=7&pp=iAQB0gcJCTYMAYcqIYzv
Trophy: Extra Crafty
Craft 25 recipes (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Craft a total of 25 consumable items using recipes from the utility wheel. Far Cry 5 includes several craftable consumables that provide temporary bonuses or useful effects. Hold L1 to open the weapon wheel, then press R1 to switch to the utility section. Highlight an available craftable item and hold Triangle to craft it. The eligible recipes include: Liquor: Requires 1 Liquor. Oregano: Requires 1 Oregano. The Fast: Requires 2 Bliss Oil and 2 Jimson Weed. The Furious: Requires 2 Bliss Oil and 2 Prairie Fire. Ultimate Hunter: Requires 2 Prairie Fire, 2 Mustard Seed, and 2 Jimson Weed. Ultimate Survivor: Requires 2 Lupine and 4 Prickly Lettuce. Craft any combination of these items until you've completed 25 crafts. The trophy unlocks once you've reached the required total.
Tip
Liquor and Oregano are generally the easiest options because they require only one ingredient each. You can find these materials while looting enemies and exploring buildings. If your inventory is full, use some of your existing consumables to make room for additional crafting.
Warning
You must actually craft the items. Simply collecting ingredients doesn't contribute toward the trophy. Make sure you're crafting eligible utility consumables rather than ammunition or unrelated equipment.
Trophy: Fashion First
Purchase $1000 in clothing (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Spend a cumulative total of $1,000 on clothing. Visit any weapon shop in Hope County and open the clothing section. Browse the available clothing items and purchase whichever outfits or accessories you prefer. You can buy multiple inexpensive pieces or a single item costing at least $1,000. Once you've spent $1,000 of regular in-game money on clothing, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
This is an easy trophy to complete once you've earned some spare cash from missions, Prepper Stashes, hunting, or fishing. Your purchases don't need to happen during the same visit.
Warning
Purchases made using Silver Bars don't count toward the spending requirement. Make sure you're spending regular in-game dollars. The Deputy may be fighting to save Hope County, but there's no reason the resistance can't have a decent wardrobe.
Trophy: Fish Market
Sell 20 fish for cash (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Catch and sell 20 fish. Travel to any fishing location in Hope County and equip your fishing rod. Cast your line, wait for a fish to bite, and reel it in. Continue fishing until you've caught at least 20 fish. Next, visit any weapon shop and open the Sell Items menu. Sell your fish until you've sold a total of 20 to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You'll naturally catch plenty of fish while working toward Hope County Master Angler and Been There, Done That. Save your catches and sell them whenever you visit a shop to make progress without additional grinding. If you need more fish, choose a fishing location with easy catches rather than repeatedly fighting difficult fish at Hard fishing spots. Apparently, the Deputy's backup plan for saving Hope County involves opening a seafood business.
Trophy: Like A Bird
Use a wingsuit to travel more than 5000m (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Travel a cumulative distance of more than 5,000 meters using the wingsuit. First, unlock the Wingsuit perk for four perk points. Once purchased, you'll be able to deploy your wingsuit while falling from sufficiently high locations. One of the easiest methods is to use a helicopter or plane: 1. Obtain an aircraft from a vehicle shop. 2. Fly to a high altitude above Hope County. 3. Exit the aircraft while airborne. 4. Deploy your wingsuit using R3. 5. Glide as far as possible before deploying your parachute to land safely. Repeat until you've traveled more than 5,000 meters with the wingsuit to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Flying to a high altitude before jumping allows you to cover much greater distances during each glide. You can also use the wingsuit naturally while traveling between mountainous locations, especially in Jacob Seed's region.
Warning
Only distance traveled while the wingsuit is deployed counts. Flying in an aircraft or descending with a parachute doesn't contribute. Make sure you deploy your parachute before reaching the ground. Gravity remains one of the few things in Hope County that Joseph Seed doesn't control.
Trophy: Locked and Loaded
Buy all attachments for one weapon (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Purchase every available attachment for a single weapon. The easiest and cheapest option is the Compound Bow, which only has two purchasable attachments. Visit any weapon shop and select the Compound Bow from the weapon selection menu. Purchase both attachments: Red Dot Sight: $795 Marksman Sight: $900 The total cost is $1,695. Once you've purchased both attachments, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You don't need to buy weapon skins or paint schemes, only attachments. The Compound Bow is an excellent choice because it requires fewer purchases than most firearms.
Warning
Weapons without purchasable attachments, such as the M-79 grenade launcher, won't work for this trophy. Choose a weapon with actual attachment options and purchase every one listed.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFMtfb0krls&list=PLRr5L69yg_kGZ0iCDxgCk2tRpvvwwLLok&index=8&pp=iAQB
Trophy: Opportunity Knocks
Using rocks or cans, distract 15 enemies (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Successfully distract 15 enemies using rocks or cans. While exploring enemy-controlled areas, press Down on the D-pad to throw a rock or can. When a nearby cultist hears the noise, they'll investigate its location. For the distraction to register, allow the enemy to walk toward the noise, investigate it, and return to their original position. Repeat this process until you've successfully distracted 15 enemies to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Cult-controlled outposts are excellent locations for this challenge because guards usually follow predictable patrol routes. Stay hidden and throw a rock near an isolated enemy. Wait for them to complete their investigation before attempting another distraction. You can distract the same enemy multiple times, so finding a reliable guard can make the process easier.
Warning
This trophy has reported tracking issues. Simply throwing 15 rocks or attracting attention 15 times isn't enough. Let enemies finish investigating and return to their original positions before throwing another rock. Even when performed correctly, some distractions may not register, so you might need more than 15 attempts. If you've already liberated every outpost, use Outpost Master to restore enemies.
Trophy: Science Fact
Put aside skepticism and help Larry (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete all four of Larry Parker's side missions in Holland Valley, John Seed's region. Larry is Hope County's resident conspiracy theorist, and he's convinced that aliens are preparing to invade Earth. Naturally, he needs the Deputy's help with some extremely questionable scientific experiments. You'll need to complete the following missions in order: 1. Free Larry: Find Larry trapped inside an electrical field at Parker Laboratories. Locate and deactivate the three nearby generators to free him. 2. The Hero's Journey: Travel to the radio tower with Larry and destroy five satellite dishes. You can destroy two while climbing the tower, but you'll need to use Larry's helicopter to reach the remaining three. The Grapple perk is required. 3. Close Encounters: Travel to Bradbury Farm and collect four glowing alien objects scattered around the crop circle. Search near the turkeys, the cultists, the dog carrying one of the objects, and the nearby grain silos. 4. Out of This World: Head to Hilgard Electric Power Station and activate the electrical panel inside the shack. Locate and activate all five switches around the station while fighting off approaching cultists. Use the zipline to reach the final switch, then return to Larry to witness his experiment. After completing Out of This World and watching Larry's experiment, the trophy should unlock.
Tip
Larry's questline also rewards you with the Magnopulser, a unique weapon worth collecting before leaving the area. Make sure you've unlocked the Grapple perk before attempting The Hero's Journey. Apparently, fighting a heavily armed doomsday cult wasn't enough excitement for the Deputy. Now we're helping a man who thinks his backyard is an intergalactic research facility.
Warning
Science Fact has reported unlocking issues. If possible, back up your save before starting Larry's first mission, then complete all four missions consecutively. If the trophy fails to unlock after the final mission, restoring your backup and replaying the questline may resolve the problem.

Trophy: The Hurk Locker
Truly bond with Hurk by destroying 15 vehicles together (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Have Hurk destroy 15 vehicles while he's assigned as your Gun for Hire. First, travel to Fort Drubman in the Whitetail Mountains, Jacob Seed's region. Complete the mission The Prodigal Son, which involves helping Hurk recover his father's campaign vehicle from the cult. After completing the mission, Hurk becomes available as a specialist companion. Open the Roster menu and assign Hurk to one of your Guns for Hire slots. Hurk carries a powerful rocket launcher that can lock onto vehicles and destroy them. Find enemy vehicles traveling along roads or parked near cult-controlled locations. Use the companion command controls to direct Hurk to attack a vehicle. Allow Hurk to destroy it with his rocket launcher. Repeat until he's destroyed 15 vehicles to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You don't need to use enemy vehicles. Vehicles you've spawned from a garage also work, making the trophy easier to grind. Spawn a vehicle, stand a safe distance away, and command Hurk to destroy it. Repeat as necessary.
Warning
Hurk must destroy the vehicles himself. Destroying them with your own weapons won't count toward the trophy. Make sure Hurk is assigned as your active companion and allow his rockets to finish each target. Hurk has finally found a legitimate reason to blow up absolutely everything. This might be the happiest day of his life.
Trophy: Where's the Beef?
Tenderize a bull with your bare hands. To death (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Kill a bull using only your bare hands. Bulls can be found around farms and open fields throughout Hope County. One reliable location is the farmland just north of the crop circle at Bradbury Farm in John Seed's region. Before approaching a bull, craft and consume The Furious, a homeopathic consumable that greatly increases melee damage. The Furious requires: 2 Bliss Oil 2 Prairie Fire Once the effect is active, approach the bull while unarmed and attack it using your fists. With The Furious active, a single punch may be enough to kill the animal and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Using The Furious makes this challenge considerably easier and safer. Without it, bulls require many punches to defeat and can kill you quickly with repeated charges. Try approaching from the side or behind to avoid getting knocked down.
Warning
You must kill the bull with your bare hands. Melee weapons, including brass knuckles, can invalidate the requirement. Unequip your melee weapon before attacking. An unarmed kick can also work if you're having trouble using punches. Ajay from Far Cry 4 got to ride elephants into battle. The Deputy, meanwhile, has apparently been assigned to fistfight livestock. Career progression is a strange thing.

Trophy: A Wing And A Prayer
Fly Nick's plane. Hopefully you're not afraid of heights (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Nick Rye's story mission Watchman in Holland Valley, John Seed's region. Travel to Nick Rye's location and help defend him and his wife, Kim, from attacking cultists. After securing the area, Nick will ask you to retrieve his plane from an airfield controlled by Eden's Gate. Follow the mission objectives to reach the airfield and eliminate the cultists guarding the aircraft. Once you've secured the plane, climb inside and follow Nick's flight instructions. Complete the flying sequence and return to Nick's airfield, where you'll need to defend the location against another cult attack. Successfully finish the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Follow Nick's instructions during the flight training sequence. You'll learn the basic aircraft controls and how to use the plane's weapons, which will be useful for later aviation-related trophies. Nick's aircraft missions are also a good opportunity to practice aerial combat before attempting Ace Killer and Death From Above.
Warning
This trophy is tied to Nick Rye's mission sequence, so make sure you complete his objectives while exploring Holland Valley. Apparently, the Deputy's job description now includes flying lessons, aerial combat, and rescuing a family-owned aviation business. The Hope County Sheriff's Department really needs to reconsider its training budget.
Trophy: Ain't No Wallflower
Who are these people? Speak to 50 citizens of Hope County (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Speak to 50 citizens throughout Hope County. You'll encounter friendly civilians at liberated outposts, settlements, resistance locations, and other areas while exploring the map. Approach a civilian and hold Square when the interaction prompt appears to speak with them. Conversations with characters who introduce missions can also contribute toward your progress, provided you listen to their dialogue. Continue speaking with people until you've completed 50 conversations to unlock the trophy.
Tip
This trophy should unlock naturally if you regularly speak with civilians while progressing through the campaign. Make a habit of talking to people at every liberated outpost. Many will also reveal new missions, Prepper Stashes, and other useful locations. If you finish the story without unlocking the trophy, fast-travel between friendly settlements and speak with any civilians you've overlooked.
Warning
Repeatedly speaking to the same person may not count toward the requirement. Focus on finding new conversations rather than exhausting one unfortunate resident's patience.
Trophy: Blissful
Save the Marshal from the Bliss (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission Ignorance Is Bliss in Faith Seed's region, Henbane River. As you increase resistance against Faith, you'll experience another hallucination involving the Bliss. During this sequence, you'll encounter Faith and Marshal Burke inside the surreal Bliss environment. Follow the mission objectives until the Marshal begins moving toward a gate. Chase after him and interact with him before he reaches the gate. Successfully reaching the Marshal will end the sequence and return you to the real world. The trophy unlocks automatically after the mission concludes.
Tip
Stay focused on the objective marker when the Marshal begins moving. You don't need to fight enemies or explore the area during the chase. Apparently, the Bliss is supposed to make people feel peaceful, but so far it mostly seems to involve extremely stressful walking exercises.
Trophy: Close and Personal
Perform 25 close combat Takedown Kills (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Perform 25 close-combat takedown kills. Takedowns are stealthy melee attacks that allow you to eliminate enemies quickly at close range. Approach a cultist from behind or from a position where they haven't detected you. When you're close enough, press R3 to perform a standard takedown. Repeat until you've successfully completed 25 close-combat takedown kills to unlock the trophy. You can earn these kills across story missions, outpost liberations, and free-roam encounters.
Tip
Enemy-controlled outposts are ideal for farming takedowns because guards follow predictable patrol routes. Use rocks to distract enemies and approach them from behind while they're investigating. Combining takedowns with stealthy outpost liberations can also earn additional cash and resistance points.
Warning
Standard close-combat takedowns count toward this trophy. Specialized takedowns, such as pistol or thrown-weapon takedowns, may not register. Focus on ordinary melee takedowns using R3 until you've earned all 25 kills.
Trophy: Kicking the Hornet's Nest
Trigger the wrath of a Herald (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Trigger the wrath of one of Joseph Seed's Heralds by reaching the maximum resistance level in a region. Hope County is divided into three main regions, each controlled by a member of the Seed family: 1. Holland Valley — John Seed 2. Henbane River — Faith Seed 3. Whitetail Mountains — Jacob Seed To increase resistance, complete story missions, liberate outposts, destroy cult property, rescue civilians, and participate in other resistance activities. Each region has a resistance meter that tracks your progress toward confronting its leader. You'll need approximately: - 13,000 resistance points in Holland Valley. - 13,000 resistance points in Henbane River. - 10,000 resistance points in the Whitetail Mountains. Once you've filled the resistance meter in any one region, that region's Herald will initiate the events leading to your final confrontation. The trophy unlocks when you trigger the Herald's wrath.
Tip
This trophy unlocks naturally while progressing through the campaign. You don't need to complete every activity in a region to fill its resistance meter. Focus on liberating outposts and completing missions for substantial resistance rewards. Apparently, destroying enough of the cult's property eventually gets you a personal invitation from management. Hope County's customer service department is something else.
Trophy: Liberator
Liberate 5 locations from the Project at Eden's Gate (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Liberate five cult-controlled outposts throughout Hope County. There are 20 outposts across the game: Dutch's Island: 1 outpost Holland Valley: 7 outposts Henbane River: 8 outposts Whitetail Mountains: 4 outposts Approach an enemy-controlled outpost and use your binoculars to tag the cultists guarding it. Identify any alarm boxes before attacking. You can disable alarms by interacting with them or destroying their control panels using a suitable weapon. Eliminate every cultist inside the outpost to liberate it. Repeat until you've liberated five outposts to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Try liberating outposts without triggering alarms to earn additional cash. Remaining completely undetected provides an even larger bonus. Liberated outposts become fast-travel locations and often provide access to new missions, shops, and vehicles.
Warning
If a cultist activates an alarm, reinforcements will arrive, making the outpost more difficult to liberate. You can replay enemy-controlled outposts using Outpost Master after liberating all 20 locations, so you'll still have opportunities to complete combat-related trophies later.
Trophy: Only You
Sucessfully complete the First Trial (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission associated with Jacob Seed's first trial in the Whitetail Mountains. As you build resistance against Jacob, his soldiers will eventually capture the Deputy. You'll be taken to Jacob's facility and forced to participate in a deadly training exercise. During the trial, move through a series of rooms while eliminating enemies and collecting weapons. The sequence is timed, so keep moving and eliminate enemies quickly to maintain your remaining time. Complete the trial and return to the real world to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Use the weapons provided throughout the trial and prioritize enemies directly blocking your path. The trial is scripted story progression, so being captured doesn't mean you've made a mistake. Jacob's idea of a team-building exercise is considerably more aggressive than most workplace training programs.
Trophy: Peachy Keen
Bait Peaches into going back home (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the mission Here Kitty, Kitty and recruit Peaches in Faith Seed's region. Travel to Peaches Taxidermy in Henbane River to begin the mission. After arriving, you'll learn that Peaches, a trained mountain lion, has wandered away from her home. Collect the treats provided for Peaches and follow the objective marker to locate her. Once you find Peaches, use the treats to lure her back toward the taxidermy. Throw treats along the path whenever she stops following you. After returning Peaches to her home, defend the property against the cultists who arrive. Successfully eliminate the attackers and complete the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Peaches becomes available as a Fang for Hire after completing the mission. She's particularly useful for stealth because she can quietly eliminate enemies without immediately attracting attention.
Warning
Make sure Peaches continues following you as you return to the taxidermy. If she stops moving, throw another treat to encourage her to continue. Most people adopt a cat and buy it a scratching post. In Hope County, apparently, you recruit a mountain lion and give it combat assignments.
Trophy: Road Gunner
While driving or leaning out of a vehicle, kill 25 enemies (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Kill 25 enemies while driving or riding in a vehicle. You can earn these kills using handheld weapons, mounted vehicle weapons, or firearms while leaning out of a vehicle. Find a vehicle and travel through cult-controlled areas where enemy patrols frequently appear. When you encounter hostile soldiers, shoot them while remaining inside the vehicle. Continue until you've eliminated 25 enemies to unlock the trophy. Recommended Method: Widowmaker During the Widowmaker side mission in John Seed's region, you'll recover a heavily armed semi-truck equipped with mounted machine guns. Use the truck's weapons to eliminate cultists and enemy vehicles while completing the mission. This provides an excellent opportunity to accumulate kills toward Road Gunner.
Tip
Vehicle-mounted weapons are particularly effective because they allow you to eliminate enemies without worrying about ammunition as frequently. You can also work toward this trophy naturally while driving through Hope County and completing story missions.
Warning
Enemies must be killed using weapons while you're inside a vehicle. Running them over contributes toward Squash and Run instead.
Trophy: Saving Deputy Hudson
Save Deputy Hudson (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission The Quality of Mercy in John Seed's region, Holland Valley. After defeating John Seed, you'll need to enter his bunker and rescue the prisoners being held inside. Follow the mission marker to the bunker and fight your way through the cultists guarding the facility. Continue through the underground areas until you locate Deputy Hudson. After rescuing her, follow her instructions as you make your way toward the exit. You'll eventually reach a circular chamber where you must defend your position while opening the bunker. Eliminate the attacking cultists and survive until you can escape. Once you've successfully left the bunker with Hudson, the trophy unlocks automatically.
Tip
Bring plenty of ammunition and medkits before entering the bunker. You'll encounter numerous enemies in confined spaces, making shotguns and other close-range weapons particularly effective. This is a story-related trophy and can't be missed through normal progression.
Trophy: Saving Deputy Pratt
Save Deputy Pratt (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission Casualties of War in Jacob Seed's region, the Whitetail Mountains. After defeating Jacob Seed, you'll need to enter his bunker and rescue Deputy Pratt. Travel to the marked location and eliminate the cultists guarding the entrance. Once inside, continue through the underground facility until you reach the control room. You'll need to shut down the pressure valves to access the area where Pratt is being held. After rescuing him, follow the escape route and eliminate any remaining enemies blocking your path. Successfully escape the bunker and complete the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The exterior of Jacob's bunker is heavily guarded, but parts of the interior can be approached with stealth. Bring a reliable weapon and plenty of ammunition for the escape sequence. This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed through normal campaign progression.
Trophy: Saving Sheriff Whitehorse
Save Sheriff Whitehorse (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission Walk the Path in Faith Seed's region, Henbane River. After defeating Faith Seed, you'll enter her underground bunker to rescue Sheriff Whitehorse and shut down the cult's Bliss production. Follow the mission objectives through the facility while eliminating the cultists defending it. You'll need to interact with several valves and destroy the machinery responsible for producing the Bliss. Continue through the bunker until you've disabled the production equipment. Once the facility begins collapsing, follow the escape route and leave the bunker before the explosions and fire overwhelm you. Successfully escaping and completing the mission unlocks the trophy.
Tip
Bring a reliable close-range weapon and plenty of ammunition before entering the bunker. The enclosed corridors make it easy for cultists to surround you. Follow the objective markers carefully when shutting down the machinery, and don't waste time exploring once the escape sequence begins.
Warning
Despite sharing its name with the Walk the Path trophy, this is a different mission sequence. The trophy Saving Sheriff Whitehorse unlocks after the later bunker mission, not during Faith's earlier Bliss hallucination.
Trophy: Scavenger
Follow the clues to the end of 3 treasure hunts (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete three Prepper Stash treasure hunts throughout Hope County. Prepper Stashes are hidden supply caches containing money, ammunition, weapons, and valuable perk magazines. There are 28 Prepper Stashes in total, but you only need to complete three. Look for the green diamond icons on your map to locate available stashes. Each stash presents a small environmental puzzle that may involve finding a key, climbing buildings, using your grappling hook, or discovering a hidden entrance. Follow the clues at the location until you reach the supply cache and complete the objective. Repeat this process with three different Prepper Stashes to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Each completed Prepper Stash generally rewards three perk points, making these activities one of the fastest ways to unlock useful abilities. Try completing them early so you can purchase essential perks such as Wingsuit, Grapple, and additional weapon holsters. Apparently, Hope County's residents prepared for the apocalypse by hiding valuable supplies behind increasingly elaborate puzzles. A locked front door would have been too easy.
Trophy: Sewer Rat
Destroy a cult water treatment pump and make them thirst for revenge (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the optional story mission Clean Water Act in Faith Seed's region, Henbane River. The mission takes place at a cult-controlled water treatment facility near Peaches Taxidermy. You can discover the mission through a radio call while exploring the region or by approaching the facility directly. Travel to the water treatment plant and eliminate the cultists guarding the area. Your objective is to disable the machinery being used to produce and distribute the Bliss. Follow the mission markers to drain the water from the facility, allowing you to access the tunnels and enter the treatment buildings. Once inside, locate and destroy the water treatment pumps in both buildings. Successfully destroy the required machinery and complete the mission to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Bring a reliable weapon and plenty of ammunition. The treatment plant is heavily defended, and you'll encounter enemies while moving between the buildings. Pay attention to the objective markers when draining the water, as several areas become accessible only after changing the water level.
Warning
Clean Water Act is an optional mission rather than a mandatory campaign objective. Make sure you complete it before considering your trophy cleanup finished.
Trophy: Special Delivery
Ensure a baby's safe passage into this world (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the optional story mission Special Delivery in John Seed's region. After liberating Holland Valley and progressing Nick Rye's storyline, you'll eventually receive a call from his wife, Kim. She needs help getting to a midwife because she's about to give birth. Return to Nick Rye's airfield to begin the mission. Once the mission starts, get into the designated vehicle and drive Kim to the midwife's location before the timer expires. Follow the marked route, avoid obstacles, and keep moving until you reach the destination. Successfully completing the delivery unlocks the trophy.
Tip
Focus on staying on the road and maintaining a steady speed rather than taking risky shortcuts. The mission includes deliberately inconvenient obstacles, so don't be surprised when Hope County's already questionable traffic conditions suddenly become even worse.
Warning
This is an optional mission, so don't assume it'll unlock automatically while completing the main story. Return to Nick Rye's airfield after progressing through John's region and watch for Kim's call.

Trophy: Squash and Run
Run over and kill 20 enemies (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Run over and kill 20 cultists using vehicles. Find a car, truck, or other suitable vehicle and drive along roads where Eden's Gate soldiers frequently appear. When you encounter hostile cultists, run them over to register a vehicle kill. Continue until you've killed 20 enemies through vehicle impacts to unlock the trophy. You can use multiple vehicles and complete the kills across different sessions.
Tip
Cult-controlled regions are ideal for this challenge because enemy patrols frequently appear along roads. You can also target cultists around enemy outposts, although you'll need to watch out for gunfire while approaching. Combine this trophy with Road Gunner by eliminating enemies with both vehicle impacts and mounted or handheld weapons during your travels.
Warning
Only enemy kills count. Running over civilians or friendly resistance members won't contribute toward the trophy. Enemies must die from the vehicle impact rather than gunfire or explosions. Driving through Hope County is already dangerous enough without the Deputy treating every cult roadblock like a bowling alley.
Trophy: Stocked Garage
Buy 3 vehicles to populate your garage (Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Purchase three vehicles from vehicle shops throughout Hope County. Visit any vehicle shop, identified by a green vehicle icon on your map. You can purchase cars, trucks, boats, planes, or helicopters, depending on the type of shop. Buy any three vehicles to unlock the trophy. Your purchases are saved to your garage, allowing you to summon the vehicles again whenever you visit a compatible vehicle shop.
Tip
Choose vehicles that will help with other trophies. An armed aircraft is useful for Ace Killer and Death From Above, while a fast car or truck can help with Squash and Run and Road Gunner. You'll also make progress toward Big Spender, which requires spending $50,000 on vehicles.
Trophy: Survivalist
Purchase half of all perks available (Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Purchase at least 25 perks from the Perks menu. Far Cry 5 features 50 perks covering survival abilities, combat improvements, equipment upgrades, and companion bonuses. You only need to purchase half of them to unlock this trophy. Unlike previous Far Cry games, you don't earn perk points simply by leveling up. Instead, you'll collect them by completing challenges, discovering perk magazines, and finishing Prepper Stashes. Some Arcade activities can also contribute perk points toward your campaign progression. To unlock the trophy: Open the pause menu and navigate to the Perks tab. Check which abilities you haven't purchased. Complete challenges and Prepper Stashes to earn additional perk points. Purchase any 25 different perks from the available categories. Once you've bought your twenty-fifth perk, the trophy will unlock. You don't need to unlock every perk or fully upgrade any particular skill tree.
Tip
Prepper Stashes are one of the fastest ways to earn perk points. There are 28 throughout Hope County, and completing one generally rewards three perk magazines. Focus on useful perks early, including Grapple, Parachute, Wingsuit, Additional Holster, Weapons Collector, Fisher King, and Saboteur. Several of these will also help with other trophies. If you're approaching 25 purchases and want to finish quickly, consider buying cheaper perks, such as the Guns for Hire recovery upgrades.
Warning
The requirement is to purchase 25 perks, not earn 25 perk points. Spending multiple points on a single perk doesn't count as multiple purchases, so focus on unlocking different abilities. You can check your progress through the Perks menu. By the time you've liberated Hope County, survived the Seed family, completed countless challenges, and explored half the wilderness, the Deputy should have enough experience to qualify as a one-person emergency response department.
Trophy: The Greatest SOB That Ever Lived
Laugh in danger's face by executing a Clutch Nixon stunt in each region (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete one Clutch Nixon stunt in each of Hope County's three main regions. Clutch Nixon stunts are timed racing challenges that involve driving or flying through checkpoints while attempting to reach the finish line before the timer expires. There are eight stunts in total: Holland Valley — John Seed's Region: 2 stunts. Henbane River — Faith Seed's Region: 3 stunts. Whitetail Mountains — Jacob Seed's Region: 3 stunts. Find a Clutch Nixon stunt marker in each region and interact with it to begin the challenge. Follow the marked route and pass through the checkpoints before time runs out. Each checkpoint adds five seconds to your remaining time, so avoid missing them. Complete one stunt in all three regions to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You don't need to complete all eight stunts. Choose whichever challenge you find easiest in each region. The vehicle-handling challenges are generally straightforward once you've learned the route. If you're struggling, replay the stunt and concentrate on hitting every checkpoint. Clutch Nixon's legendary achievements apparently involved driving dangerously fast through Montana. Naturally, the Deputy is now expected to recreate them during an active civil war.

Trophy: The Spark
Complete the game intro by liberating Dutch’s island (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the game's introduction by liberating Dutch's Island. After escaping Joseph Seed's cult during the opening mission, you'll meet Dutch, who helps you prepare for the fight against Eden's Gate. Follow his instructions to complete the introductory objectives, including destroying cult shrines, freeing hostages, and liberating the island's enemy-controlled outpost. Once you've completed the required activities and liberated Dutch's Island, the trophy unlocks automatically.
Tip
Dutch's Island serves as the game's tutorial area, introducing you to combat, stealth, exploration, and resistance activities. Once you've liberated the island, you'll gain access to the three main regions of Hope County and can approach them in whichever order you prefer.
Trophy: Together Forever
Get to the End (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the final story mission, Where It All Began, by choosing the Resist ending. After defeating John, Faith, and Jacob Seed, you'll receive an invitation to confront Joseph Seed at his compound. Travel to the marked location to begin the final confrontation. During the conversation, Joseph will offer you two choices: Resist: Fight Joseph and complete the game's main ending. Walk Away: Leave the compound without fighting him. Choose Resist to begin the final battle. During the encounter, Joseph will turn your allies against you using the Bliss. Defeat the affected allies and revive them as instructed while continuing to fight Joseph. Once you've completed the confrontation, follow the final escape sequence to finish the story and unlock the trophy.
Tip
You don't need to complete every side mission or collectible before confronting Joseph. Free-roam cleanup remains available after finishing the campaign.
Warning
You must choose Resist to unlock Together Forever. Choosing Walk Away won't award the trophy, but you can replay the final mission afterward and select Resist instead. After everything you've been through, Joseph offering you the chance to simply walk away feels like the least trustworthy invitation in gaming history.
Trophy: Troublemaker
Discover the joys of destroying cult property in every region (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Destroy at least one piece of Eden's Gate cult property in each of Hope County's four regions. Each region contains a different type of destructible cult property: 1. Dutch's Island — Cult Shrines: Destroy one of the two shrines found during the game's introductory missions. 2. Holland Valley — Silos: Find and destroy one of the 14 red-and-white cult silos scattered throughout John Seed's region. 3. Henbane River — Cult Shrines: Destroy one of the 16 Bliss shrines found in Faith Seed's region. 4. Whitetail Mountains — Wolf Beacons: Locate and destroy one of the 10 wolf beacons scattered throughout Jacob Seed's region. You can destroy these structures using explosives, vehicle-mounted weapons, or other suitable firearms. Once you've destroyed at least one cult property in all four regions, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You'll naturally destroy cult shrines on Dutch's Island during the introduction, so focus on finding a silo, a Bliss shrine, and a wolf beacon as you explore the remaining regions. You only need one structure per region, not every piece of cult property.
Warning
Dutch's Island counts as a separate region for this trophy. Don't overlook it when checking your progress. Apparently, Eden's Gate has invested heavily in infrastructure. Unfortunately for Joseph Seed, the Deputy specializes in extremely aggressive demolition work.

Trophy: Walk The Path
Discover the Bliss (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission The Bliss in Faith Seed's region, Henbane River. As you complete missions and build resistance against Faith, you'll begin experiencing strange hallucinations caused by the Bliss. During one of these encounters, you'll be transported into a dreamlike environment where Faith guides you through a supernatural sequence. Follow Faith and listen to Joseph Seed's dialogue as you progress through the area. Continue following the mission objectives until the sequence concludes. The trophy unlocks automatically after completing The Bliss.
Tip
This mission is triggered through normal story progression as you build resistance in Faith's region. There's no need to search for a specific location or complete any optional objectives. If the scenery suddenly becomes suspiciously peaceful and everything turns green, congratulations. You've probably entered another one of Hope County's extremely questionable spiritual experiences.
Trophy: What Now?
Complete 3 Side Missions in Hope County (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete three side missions throughout Hope County. Side missions are optional objectives that become available as you explore the map, liberate outposts, and speak with friendly residents. They're generally marked with a white star icon on your map. These missions involve a variety of activities, including rescuing civilians, eliminating cultists, investigating locations, and helping resistance members. Accept and complete any three side missions to unlock the trophy.
Tip
There are plenty of optional activities throughout Hope County, so this trophy should unlock naturally while progressing through the campaign. Prepper Stashes and Clutch Nixon stunts also contribute to regional mission completion, giving you additional activities to tackle while building resistance. You can combine this trophy with Scavenger by completing three Prepper Stashes early in your adventure.
Trophy: You Are Wrath
Be deemed the Sin of Wrath (Solo Campaign only).
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the story mission The Confession in John Seed's region, Holland Valley. As you complete missions and build resistance against John Seed, his forces will become increasingly aggressive. When you reach the required resistance level, capture parties will begin hunting the Deputy. Eventually, you'll be captured and taken to John's bunker, where you'll be subjected to an interrogation. Follow the mission objectives, escape your restraints, and fight your way out using whatever weapons you can find. Once you successfully escape the bunker and complete the mission, the trophy unlocks automatically.
Tip
The capture sequence is a scripted part of the campaign, so don't worry if you can't escape the pursuing enemies. After everything the Deputy has survived, being kidnapped by a heavily armed religious fanatic is apparently just another Tuesday in Hope County.
Welcome to Hope County, Montana, where the scenery is beautiful, the locals are heavily armed, and a doomsday cult has somehow taken over nearly everything. You'll play as a rookie deputy attempting to dismantle Joseph Seed's Project at Eden's Gate, one region at a time. Fortunately, Far Cry 5 offers a fairly straightforward Platinum, requiring just one campaign playthrough with no difficulty-related or permanently missable trophies. However, you'll also need access to Far Cry Arcade and a co-op partner, so this isn't an entirely offline adventure.
Before diving too deeply into the campaign, check that Far Cry Arcade's online features are accessible. You'll eventually need to win 10 featured multiplayer maps for ARCADE Competitor, earn 100 multiplayer kills for ARCADE Hunter, reach Arcade Level 20, complete 10 featured solo or co-op maps, and finish five Arcade Hero maps. You'll also need to complete three campaign quests with a friend for Hitting it Off. Online matchmaking and progress tracking can occasionally cause problems, so confirming these features work early is a good idea. You don't need to finish all the Arcade trophies immediately, but discovering a connection problem after completing the entire campaign would be a particularly unpleasant surprise.
Once you've liberated Dutch's Island, you'll be free to explore Hope County's three main regions in almost any order. Begin recruiting Guns for Hire, liberating cult outposts, and completing Prepper Stashes for valuable perk points. Prioritize useful perks such as Grapple, Parachute, Wingsuit, Additional Holster, and Weapons Collector. You'll also want Fisher King for the fishing trophies and Saboteur for Explosive Surprise. Make a habit of talking to civilians, completing challenges, and looting useful supplies. Apparently, dismantling a heavily armed cult requires more preparation than the average police training program.
As you explore John, Faith, and Jacob Seed's territories, complete story missions, destroy cult property, and build resistance in each region. Filling a region's resistance meter triggers important story events and eventually leads to a confrontation with its leader. You'll earn several trophies naturally while rescuing your fellow deputies and dismantling the cult's operations. Complete missions involving Nick Rye, Peaches, and Larry Parker as you encounter them, since their questlines contribute to additional trophies. Larry's four missions are particularly important for Science Fact, which has reported unlocking issues, so consider keeping a backup save before starting his questline.
Start working on collectibles and side activities while traveling between objectives. Pack Rat requires just one item from each of the six collectible categories: Vietnam Lighters, Comic Books, Whiskey Casks, Baseball Cards, Cheeseburger Bobbleheads, and Vinyl Crates. You'll also need to complete three Prepper Stashes, three side missions, and one Clutch Nixon stunt in each of the three main regions. For Troublemaker, destroy at least one piece of cult property in Dutch's Island and each of the three main regions. These activities provide perk points, money, and resistance progress, so completing them as you explore will considerably reduce your cleanup later.
Don't neglect hunting and fishing. Been There, Done That requires completing all hunting and fishing challenges, involving 16 animal species and 12 fish species. Animals must be skinned to count toward the hunting challenges, so avoid using explosives or fire when hunting. Hope County Master Angler requires obtaining all four fishing rods, including Old Betsy, which demands beating every county fishing record. Start working toward the fishing records whenever you reach a Hard fishing spot, and purchase the Fisher King perk to make the process easier. Between hunting bears, catching enormous fish, and fighting religious extremists, Ajay from Far Cry 4 might actually have had the more relaxing vacation.
As you approach the end of the campaign, finish liberating the three regions and confronting the Seed family. Most story trophies unlock naturally, but pay attention to the final confrontation with Joseph Seed. When presented with the choice to Resist or Walk Away, choose Resist to complete the required ending and unlock Together Forever. If you choose Walk Away instead, you can replay the final mission and select Resist afterward. You can also return to free roam after completing the story, so there's no need to finish every optional objective before the finale.
By this point, you should have enough equipment and perks to tackle the more specialized combat trophies. Work toward 25 vehicle kills for Road Gunner, 20 roadkills for Squash and Run, 25 close-combat takedowns for Close and Personal, and five kills with sabotaged vehicles for Explosive Surprise. Recruit Hurk and have him destroy 15 vehicles for The Hurk Locker. You'll also need to destroy 10 planes while piloting an aircraft for Ace Killer and destroy four vehicles with a single plane bomb for Death From Above. These two aircraft trophies can be simplified using vehicles spawned from garages, so there's no need to spend hours chasing cult pilots around the sky.
Before finishing your single-player cleanup, return to the fishing challenges and Arena-style activities if you still need progress. Catch and sell 20 fish for Fish Market, finish the hunting challenges, and obtain the Wonderboy Fishing Rod through Skylar's questline. Afterward, tackle the Hard fishing spots to beat all 12 records needed for Old Betsy. Make sure to visit a fishing record board after breaking the final record to trigger Hope County Master Angler. You should also be accumulating perk points through challenges and Prepper Stashes, making Survivalist's requirement of purchasing 25 perks relatively manageable. Nothing says you're winning the war against a dangerous cult quite like spending several hours trying to catch a slightly heavier trout.
After completing the campaign, use free roam to finish any remaining miscellaneous trophies. Purchase three vehicles for Stocked Garage, spend $50,000 at vehicle shops for Big Spender, buy $1,000 worth of clothing for Fashion First, and purchase every attachment for one weapon for Locked and Loaded. The Compound Bow is a relatively inexpensive choice for the latter because it only requires two attachments. For Ghost Kill, use a scoped rifle to land a headshot from more than 150 meters away. If you've already liberated every outpost and need additional enemies, use Outpost Master to restore hostile locations. You can also complete any remaining combat, crafting, and hunting challenges while earning money and perk points.
Next, finish the cooperative and Arcade requirements. For Hitting it Off, invite a friend into your campaign and complete three quests together. Prepper Stashes and outpost liberations can count, so you don't necessarily need to save three major story missions. In Arcade, complete five Arcade Hero maps, finish 10 featured solo or co-op maps, reach Level 20, and earn 100 kills against other players. ARCADE Competitor requires winning 10 matches on featured multiplayer maps, making it one of the more troublesome trophies because winning an ordinary match on a non-featured map won't count. Coordinate with other players if matchmaking is quiet. For ARCADE Enthusiast, exit after completing a featured map rather than selecting Replay, since repeated runs through that option may not register correctly.
Finally, check your trophy list for any unfinished challenges, particularly Been There, Done That, Hope County Master Angler, Big Spender, and the Arcade trophies. Remember that Far Cry 5 has no difficulty requirements, so you can complete the campaign on Easy if you prefer. Solo Campaign trophies should be earned while playing alone or hosting your own co-op session, since joining another player's campaign doesn't preserve your story progress. Once you've earned all 50 other base-game trophies, We Always Had Faith in You will unlock the Platinum. Congratulations! You've liberated Hope County, defeated the Seed family, mastered fishing, flown questionable aircraft, and somehow survived an entire county filled with armed cultists. Just another perfectly normal week in Montana.
