007 First Light Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

Your first playthrough is where you should do almost everything. Focus on progressing through the campaign while collecting every postcard, MI6 file, memento, playing card, and legacy item you come across. The big goal is A collector’s habit, which requires all collectibles, so following the collectible walkthrough from the start will save you from turning Chapter Select into your second full-time job later.

Most of the miscellaneous trophies are simple one-off actions, so knock them out whenever the opportunity appears. Tackle an enemy over a ledge for Soft landing, shoot a weapon from someone’s hand for Sleight of hand, push an enemy into a fire extinguisher for Firestarter, and shoot an enemy in the legs until they are pacified for He’ll live. None of these require complicated setups, so treat them like little Bond experiments while working through the early missions.

There’s no need to stress if you miss one. Most of these combat and gadget trophies can also be cleaned up later in TacSim, so enjoy the campaign first. Bond is supposed to look smooth. Constantly reloading checkpoints because you forgot to shoot somebody’s pistol out of their hand is considerably less smooth.

MID GAME

Keep following the campaign and grabbing every collectible while the story trophies unlock naturally. You’ll earn trophies such as Icebreaker, From Malta with Love, Shaken Not Stirred, I Expect You to Die, Skyfall, Win, Lose or Die, Nobody Lives Forever, and Trigger Mortis simply by progressing through the required missions.

This is also a good time to work on the remaining miscellaneous combat trophies. For Positively Shocking, get caught trespassing, wait for an enemy to try to tase you, grab another enemy, and move them into the taser attack instead. For Short Fuse, shoot an enemy while they are throwing a grenade. Damp Squib requires you to hack a grenade with the Q Lens before it explodes, while Disarming Personality has you use the laser strap to disarm someone holding a gun.

For Always Have an Exit Plan, get caught trespassing and use either the laser strap or dart phone to distract the enemy and escape the confrontation. These are all small requirements, so doing them naturally as opportunities appear keeps the campaign fun instead of turning every mission into a checklist.

LATE GAME

As you approach the end of the campaign, keep your collectible route going and finish any remaining categories for The World Is Not Enough, For Your Eyes Only, Recovered Assets, Casino Royale, and A Legacy of Spycraft. Once every collectible has been found, A Collector’s Habit will unlock as well.

The remaining story trophies will come naturally as you push through the later missions, including A Hard Man to Kill, You Only Live Twice, Agent Under Fire, All Time High, No Time to Die, Double or Die, You Know My Name, Solo, The Writing Is on the Wall, and For King and Country.

Before leaving the campaign behind, check your trophy list. If you missed a collectible, don’t panic — Chapter Select is available for cleanup. If you missed one of the miscellaneous combat trophies, you can either grab it through Chapter Select or save it for TacSim, where enemies are easy to experiment on without worrying about messing up your story run.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

Once the campaign is finished, move into TacSim. You need to complete one Operation for What If...?, complete an Escalation for A Change of Pace, and beat Tier 3 of an Escalation for The Readiness Is All.

You’ll also need to reach Clearance Level 3 for Keep Moving Forward. Completing one Operation, one Escalation, and likely one additional activity should be enough to reach the required level. TacSim is also the perfect place to clean up any remaining enemy-based trophies such as Soft Landing, Sleight of Hand, Positively Shocking, Short Fuse, He’ll Live, Firestarter, Damp Squib, Disarming Personality, or Always Have an Exit Plan.

If any collectibles remain, jump back into Chapter Select and finish those before wrapping up TacSim. Once everything else is complete and you reach Clearance Level 3, The Name’s Bond. James Bond should unlock for the Platinum. From recruit to 00 agent to obsessive postcard collector — exactly how Fleming surely imagined it.
