Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

For your first playthrough, focus on progressing the story until Main Quest 11 so you can unlock your Ikran. Once you can fly, exploration becomes much faster and the rest of Pandora opens up properly. Since there are no difficulty-related trophies, you can play on Easy if you want the smoothest Platinum run. As you travel, touch every Bellsprig and Tarsyu Sapling you come across. Bellsprigs increase your health, while Tarsyu Saplings give you skill points, and both will make the later combat much easier.

Start building good habits immediately. Scan every new plant and animal you encounter and gather at least 2 of each whenever possible. You eventually need 20 wildlife and 30 plant entries in the Hunter’s Guide, and knowing where resources come from will also save a lot of time during the Community-related side content later. Whenever you see one of the purple markers on the map, get close enough to reveal what type of collectible it is. Activate camps and Field Labs for fast travel, loot every Crate and Basket you see, and actually spend your Spare Parts, RDA Duty Rosters, and Clan Favor on better gear instead of hoarding them for some imaginary Na’vi retirement fund.

Your equipment level is one of the biggest factors in combat difficulty, so clear the occasional RDA Installation or Outpost between main quests and keep upgrading. During this part of the game you’ll naturally work toward trophies such as First Strike, Aranahe Alliance, Stronger Together, Clearing the Mist, Eco Warrior, Talk to the Ancestors, Sprouting Potential, Full Bloom, Cooking Pot Pro, and eventually Our Reclamation for completing the main campaign.

MID GAME

Once you have your Ikran and the world is easier to travel, start mixing exploration and collectible cleanup into your normal story route. There is a lot to find, so doing everything naturally as you pass through an area is much better than leaving the entire map for the end. Keep visiting purple markers and work on the major collectible sets: 9 Windswept Kites, 9 Windswept Dolls, 11 Bladewing Moth trails, 12 Sarentu Totems, 13 Aeolian Wind Flutes, 9 Recon Retrievals, and 11 Treasure Hunt Comics.

You should also continue touching Bellsprigs and Tarsyu Saplings whenever they appear and grab at least 3 Tarsyu Flowers so you can unlock 3 Ancestor Skills. Keep collecting Notes and Audio Logs as well. You need 30 Notes for Story Guardian and 30 Audio Logs for A Good Listener. The exact total number available is not clear from the source, so the safest approach is simply to grab every one you find, especially anything inside HQ before Main Quest 19.

This is also a good time to keep weakening the RDA while improving your equipment. Destroy Installations and Outposts as you encounter them, craft at least one Superior-quality weapon or gear piece for Apprentice Crafter, keep filling out your skill trees for Becoming Na’vi, and work toward unlocking an Apex Skill for Peak Performance. By doing this alongside the story, you’ll avoid turning the post-game into one giant map-cleaning shift.

LATE GAME

After finishing the main campaign, shift your attention toward reclaiming Pandora and finishing the large collectible groups. To earn Reclaim Pandora, you need to destroy the required RDA Installations, Outposts, and the Laser Ore Processor Alpha base until Pandora reaches 100% air quality. Little by Little requires 10 RDA Installations, while Hit Them Where It Hurts requires 5 RDA Outposts, so these should naturally fall into place while working toward full air quality.

Finish whichever collectible sets are still incomplete. That means all Windswept Kites for Tethered Kites, Windswept Dolls for Doll Collector, Recon Retrievals for Data Retriever, Treasure Hunt Comics for Father and Son in the Stars, Aeolian Wind Flutes for In Harmony, Sarentu Totems for Vision of the Ancestors, and Bladewing Moth trails for Fleet-Footed. Mushroom Navigator requires 10 Mycelium Network activities involving the large purple Budding Watchers. According to the provided source, you may need to repeat one after 24 real-world hours, so do not leave this trophy until the absolute last minute if you can avoid it.

You should also finish your Hunter’s Guide requirements here if needed: 20 gatherable wildlife entries for Wildlife Expert and 30 gatherable plant entries for Great Gatherer. If you followed the scan-and-gather advice from the beginning, these should need very little cleanup. The same applies to Cooking Pot Pro, Sprouting Potential, Full Bloom, Talk to the Ancestors, Story Guardian, A Good Listener, Peak Performance, and Becoming Na’vi.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

The remaining cleanup should mainly be side quests and the Thanator hunt. For the side-quest-related trophy, speak with Etuwa in the highest room of Hometree, then interact with the branch behind her. Pick up the queen moth and carry her to her new home to complete the required sequence.

For the Thanator-related cleanup, you only need to hunt one of the listed subspecies. Your options are the Thanator near Mentor’s River, south of the Gossamer Lakes in the Kinglor Forest; the Kinglor Wetlands Thanator on Spool Island, south of Silk Woods in the Kinglor Forest; the Boulderlands Thanator south of Ensnared Lake in the center of Cascading Stones in the Clouded Forest; or the White Moss Forest Thanator northeast of Carver’s River in the center of Cradling Pines in the Clouded Forest. These are among the toughest wildlife encounters in the game, so go in with strong gear and plenty of preparation rather than treating it like another casual hunting trip.

The biggest time-saver for this Platinum is simply doing a little of everything while progressing through the story. Scan plants and animals, grab nearby collectibles, touch Bellsprigs and Tarsyu Saplings, activate fast-travel points, upgrade your gear, and clear RDA locations when convenient. Do that, and your final cleanup should feel like finishing off Pandora rather than starting a second job after the credits.
