Trophy: A Good Listener

Collect 30 Audio Logs

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect 30 Audio Logs. Audio Logs can be found in several different ways throughout Pandora: Clearing RDA Outposts and checking their reward rooms. Reactivating Resistance Field Labs. Searching Resistance HQ after main quests. Picking them up during story missions. The biggest thing to watch for is Resistance HQ. Make sure you thoroughly search HQ before completing Main Quest 27: Revelations, because the base is destroyed after that point. Some Audio Logs found there can become unavailable once the story moves on. There are plenty of Audio Logs spread across the game, so you do not need every single one. You only need 30 for the trophy. Useful places to keep checking include: TAP Con-1 Resistance Field Labs Resistance Headquarters Ruins of Resistance Headquarters RDA Outposts Examples of Audio Logs you can find include: Billy’s Personal Log: Leaving the RDA Alex’s Notes: Biodiversity Resistance Field Data: The First Zakru Ri’nela’s Personal Log: Are We Really Alone? Alma’s Personal Log: The Right Choice Priya’s Recording RDA SecOps Log Probably My Final Report Daniela’s Personal Log: Forever on Pandora Goodbye, Dani RDA Report on Local Insurgency Thoughts on Defectors RDA Log: Last Message? Harding’s Personal Log: Loop Ardmore In? Once you collect 30 Audio Logs, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Get into the habit of checking desks, terminals, tables, and reward rooms whenever you enter a Field Lab, Outpost, or major story location. If you collect them naturally as you go, you should avoid a long cleanup later.

Warning

Search Resistance HQ before completing Revelations. Several logs can be found there before the base is destroyed, so this is one of the few collectible types where story progress can matter. Pandora may be under attack, but apparently everyone still has time to leave behind extremely detailed voice notes.

Trophy: Cooking Pot Pro

Unlock three recipes for specialty dishes.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Unlock 3 recipes for specialty dishes. There are 51 specialty dish recipes in the game, and you only need 3 for this trophy. You can unlock specialty recipes in a few different ways: Complete main and side quests that reward recipes. Loot Wicker Baskets while exploring. Experiment with ingredients by checking harvested plants or animal materials in your inventory to see if they have a special combination with another ingredient. You can track how many specialty dishes you have unlocked by opening the Journal and checking the Recipes tab. If you loot Wicker Baskets regularly and complete side content as you go, you can likely earn this trophy fairly early in the game.

Tip

Don’t ignore Wicker Baskets. They’re one of the easiest ways to build up your recipe collection without going out of your way. Three recipes is all you need, so there is no reason to turn this into Pandora’s version of MasterChef.

Trophy: Data Retriever

Complete all recon retrievals.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Complete all 9 Recon Retrievals across Pandora. On the map, these are labeled as Data Collectors, so don’t worry if you never see anything specifically called “Recon Retrieval.” Each one works the same way: Find the Main Receiver. Use your hacking tool to activate it. Then locate the 3 nearby Antennas and reconnect them. The Antennas are always close to the Main Receiver, generally within about 50 meters, but they are not directly marked for you. Listen for the beeping sound and move in the direction where it gets louder. Once all 3 Antennas are connected, that Recon Retrieval is complete. None of these are missable, and you can complete them in any order. The 9 Main Receiver locations are: Data 140.60-9 Kinglor Forest Found between rocks on a small island in Spinner’s Circle. Data R/F U5 Kinglor Forest Found beneath a stone pillar northwest of Meadow Station. Data Ze-[DELTA]03 Upper Plains Found between 3 stone pillars in The Celebration Valley. Data F-FV 0.2 Upper Plains Found on a cliff in the southern part of Mother of Rivers. Data TA-Biosphere Sims Upper Plains Found at a stone spire northeast of Daughter’s Pool, near the center of Mother of Rivers. Data FR--/TR.MO Clouded Forest Found beneath a rock on the cliffside across the river northwest of The Parch. Data PF-94 Clouded Forest Found beneath a log near the cliff overlooking Stealth River. Data H2G-2 Clouded Forest Found beneath a boulder at Nomad’s River in Cascading Stones. Data SP093-SPI09 Clouded Forest Found south of Resting Tree Lab at the River of Ancestors. Once all 9 Recon Retrievals are completed, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

The Main Receiver is the easy part. The real challenge is finding the 3 Antennas, so rely on the beeping and slowly sweep the nearby area until the sound gets louder. After completing all 9, speak with Alexander at the Resistance Base to finish the side quest System Reboot. Nine receivers, twenty-seven antennas, and a whole lot of wandering around asking yourself, “Is that beep louder or am I losing it?”

The Blonde Adonis Windswept Doll Cradling Pines Found beneath a collapsed hollow tree on the east shore of the river south of Mossy Nook Field Lab. Once all 9 are collected, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

These dolls are not marked directly on the map, so following the locations one by one will save a lot of wandering through the Clouded Forest. After collecting them all, deliver them to the Kame’tire storyteller in The Hollows to complete the side quest The Dark Theater. Nine creepy little forest dolls later, you’ll either have a trophy or the beginning of a very questionable collection.

Trophy: Father and Son in the Stars

Collect all treasure hunt comics.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 11 Treasure Hunt Comics. Each comic is tied to a Finding Home Exploration quest. The first 10 cannot simply be picked up from the world like normal collectibles. You first need to hack a Computer Terminal with the SID. Doing this gives you: A clue about a small RDA lab A photo of the location A short description to help you find it Once you reach the matching lab, enter the trailer and collect the comic book inside. The 11th comic works differently. After collecting the first 10, you will receive a final side quest that points you toward an abandoned RDA base where the last comic can be found. None of the comics are missable, and you can collect the first 10 in any order. The 11 comic locations are: Comic Book Page 1 Kinglor Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the western side of the Kinglor Forest. Follow the clue to the matching RDA lab and collect the comic inside. Comic Book Page 2 Kinglor Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the northern side of the Kinglor Forest. Use the photo and clue to track down the lab and collect the next page. Comic Book Page 3 Kinglor Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the eastern side of the Kinglor Forest. Hack the terminal, find the matching RDA lab, and collect the comic. Comic Book Page 4 Upper Plains The related Computer Terminal is in the southeastern side of the Upper Plains. Follow the clue to the lab and grab the comic inside. Comic Book Page 5 Upper Plains The related Computer Terminal is in the western side of the Upper Plains. Hack it, follow the photo, and collect the page from the RDA lab. Comic Book Page 6 Upper Plains The related Computer Terminal is in the far northeastern side of the Upper Plains. Use the clue to locate the next lab and comic. Comic Book Page 7 Clouded Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the northern side of the Clouded Forest. Hack the terminal, follow the clue, and collect the comic from the matching lab. Comic Book Page 8 Clouded Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the northeastern side of the Clouded Forest. Find the lab shown in the clue and collect the comic inside. Comic Book Page 9 Clouded Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the eastern side of the Clouded Forest. Follow the terminal clue to its matching lab and grab the comic. Comic Book Page 10 Clouded Forest The related Computer Terminal is in the southern side of the Clouded Forest. Hack it, locate the correct RDA lab, and collect the tenth comic. Comic Book Page 11 Divergence Station After collecting the first 10 comics, follow the final Finding Home quest to Divergence Station, an abandoned RDA location used by defectors joining the Resistance. Collect the final page there to finish the story and unlock the trophy.

Tip

The photo clue is the important part. Compare the landscape carefully and use nearby landmarks to narrow down the correct lab location. Eleven comic pages, ten hacked terminals, one final hideout, and probably more detective work than anyone expected from a collectible hunt.

Trophy: Fleet-Footed

Follow all the bladewing moths to their nests.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Follow all 11 Bladewing Moth Trails to their nests. These activities begin at distinctive blue-leaf trees found throughout Pandora. Interact with the tree and a group of Bladewing Moths will fly out. Follow them closely as they travel through the environment until they reach their nest. Reaching the nest completes that Bladewing Moth Trail and rewards you with a hidden fruit. None of the trails are missable, and they can be completed in any order. The 11 Bladewing Moth Trails are located at: Bladewing Moth Trail 1 Kinglor Forest Waterway Valley Bladewing Moth Trail 2 Kinglor Forest Silk Woods Bladewing Moth Trail 3 Kinglor Forest Silk Woods Bladewing Moth Trail 4 Kinglor Forest Gossamer Lakes Bladewing Moth Trail 5 Upper Plains The Celebration Valley Bladewing Moth Trail 6 Upper Plains Mother of Rivers Bladewing Moth Trail 7 Upper Plains Shattered Bridge Bladewing Moth Trail 8 Upper Plains The Stone Hold Bladewing Moth Trail 9 Upper Plains The Stone Hold Bladewing Moth Trail 10 Clouded Forest Stone Cloud Valley Bladewing Moth Trail 11 Clouded Forest The Cut Complete all 11 trails and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Stay close to the moths once they start moving. The activity is much easier when you follow immediately instead of trying to figure out where the swarm disappeared to afterward. The good news: the moths know exactly where they are going. The bad news: they have absolutely no concern for whether you can keep up.

Trophy: Full Bloom

Touch 20 bellsprigs.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

ouch 20 Bellsprigs. Bellsprigs are shrubs found all across Pandora. Each one permanently increases your health by 2, so they are extremely useful even after you have unlocked the trophy. There are around 160 Bellsprigs across the world, but you only need to touch 20. Like other collectibles, their locations appear as purple spheres on the map from a distance. You will not know exactly what type of collectible the marker represents until you get close. None of the Bellsprigs are missable, and they can be collected in any order.

Tip

Do not ignore these during the story. Picking them up naturally while exploring makes combat much easier later and prevents unnecessary cleanup. Twenty Bellsprigs for the trophy, a bigger health bar for you, and one less reason to panic when the RDA starts unloading on you.

Trophy: Great Gatherer

Unlock 30 Hunter's Guide entries for gatherable plants.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Unlock 30 Hunter’s Guide entries for gatherable plants. There are around 70 plant species across Pandora, but only gatherable plants that provide useful materials count toward this trophy. To inspect a plant, hold R1 and press R3 while looking at it. Once scanned, the plant is added to the Hunter’s Guide and you can check what material it provides and what it can be used for. You can also unlock plant entries by collecting harvested materials from baskets. Only plants that provide usable loot count. Decorative plants or plants that only affect your character temporarily do not count as gatherable plants for the trophy. Useful gatherable plant materials include: Bark Bast Branch Cone Fiber Fruit Moss Mushroom Reed Resin Root Seed Once you have 30 valid gatherable plant entries in the Hunter’s Guide, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Scan unfamiliar plants as you travel and gather at least a few whenever possible. You’ll need plenty of materials for crafting and cooking anyway, so this trophy fits naturally into normal exploration. Thirty plants sounds like a lot until you remember Pandora is basically one giant glowing botanical garden.

Trophy: In Harmony

Tune all aeolian wind flutes.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Tune all Aeolian Wind Flutes. There are 17 Aeolian Wind Flutes in total. 13 are open-world collectibles found throughout the Upper Plains. The other 4 are tuned automatically during the main quest The Weeping Gorge. The open-world flutes appear as wooden structures. When you reach one, interact with the lever and move the Left Stick to tune it. Like other collectibles, their general locations can appear as purple spheres on the map, but you will not know exactly what type of collectible they are until you get close. None of the 13 open-world flutes are missable, and they can be completed in any order. The 13 open-world Aeolian Wind Flutes are spread across the Upper Plains. Once all 13 open-world flutes are tuned and the 4 story-related flutes from The Weeping Gorge are completed, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Tip: Do not panic if you only find 13 on the map. The remaining 4 are tied to The Weeping Gorge and are handled through the story. Tip: Whenever you see a purple marker in the Upper Plains, get close enough to identify it. You may knock out several flutes naturally while exploring instead of leaving all 13 for cleanup. Seventeen flutes later, you will have successfully turned the Upper Plains into one enormous Na’vi wind instrument.

Trophy: Mushroom Navigator

Complete 10 mycelium network activities.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Complete 10 Mycelium Network activities using Budding Watchers in the Clouded Forest. There are 9 Budding Watchers across Pandora, which means you will need to complete every one and then repeat one after it resets. Budding Watchers are enormous purple mushrooms found throughout the Clouded Forest. When you reach one, you first need to activate 4 smaller mushrooms nearby. Follow the trail of small mushrooms leading away from the main Budding Watcher until you locate each of the 4 medium-sized mushrooms and wake them up. Once all 4 are activated, return to the giant Budding Watcher. It will now open, allowing you to enter and collect the basket inside. Make sure you actually collect the basket. Simply solving the mushroom activity does not count as completing it. After approximately 24 hours in real-world time, completed Budding Watchers reset and can be done again. Since there are only 9 unique activities and the trophy requires 10 completions, return after the reset and complete any one of them a second time. None of the Budding Watchers are missable, and you can complete them in any order. The supplied collectible information lists 9 Budding Watchers in total, although it only provides specific reference entries for Budding Watchers 1–7.

Tip

Do all 9 as early as reasonably possible, then come back after the 24-hour reset for your tenth completion. That is much better than reaching the end of the Platinum and discovering that a mushroom has put you on a real-world timer.

Warning

You need 10 completed activities but there are only 9 unique Budding Watchers, so one must be completed again after the mushrooms reset. Pandora has giant glowing mushrooms, and somehow the hardest part is waiting for one to decide it is ready to be a mushroom again.

Trophy: Sprouting Potential

Touch 20 tarsyu saplings.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Touch 20 Tarsyu Saplings. Tarsyu Saplings are smaller versions of Tarsyu Flowers and are one of the main ways you earn skill points in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Each Sapling you touch gives you 1 skill point, so these are worth grabbing even after you have enough for the trophy. There are roughly 60 Tarsyu Saplings across Pandora, but you only need 20. They are not fully revealed on the map until you get close to them. From farther away, collectible locations only appear as purple spheres, so exploring nearby areas is the best way to uncover them. None of the Saplings are missable, and they can be collected in any order.

Tip

Grab these whenever you see a purple marker nearby. You only need around a third of the total for the trophy, and every one makes your build stronger. Exploration pays off here. Pandora is basically handing out skill points if you are willing to wander off the main path.

Collect 30 Notes

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect 30 Notes. Notes are spread all across Pandora and can be found in several ways: Clearing RDA Outposts and checking their reward rooms. Reactivating Resistance Field Labs. Searching Resistance HQ after main quests. Finding them during story missions. Exploring areas around Computer Terminals. Computer Terminal areas are especially useful because you are guaranteed to find either an Audio Log or a Note nearby. There are more than 30 Notes available, so you do not need every single one. Examples include: Sciops Work Order 001–010 Air Quality Index Findings TAP School Records Join the Resistance Our Final Option Space Pickles Kame’tire Folktale Turning the Tables Zeswa Death Culture: A Mystery, Explained Status Report IH452 Profile of the Resistance Additional Weaponry Request Resistance HQ Assault Preparations Zeswa Interrogation Transcript Intake Manifest Make a habit of checking desks, tables, workstations, and reward rooms whenever you enter a Field Lab, Outpost, or major story location. Warning: Search Resistance HQ before completing Revelations. Some Notes are only available before the HQ is destroyed, so grab everything you can there before progressing too far.

Tip

You only need 30, so don’t stress about finding every Note in the game. If you explore naturally and clear Outposts along the way, this should build up steadily. Apparently saving Pandora also involves reading a truly heroic amount of paperwork.

Reconnaissance Upper Plains Lets you see enemy movement paths. Ghost Strike Upper Plains Improves your aim while undetected. Free Fast Travel Clouded Forest Lets you fast travel without spending stamina. Tarsyu Network Clouded Forest Reveals the locations of other Tarsyu Saplings. None of the Tarsyu Flowers are missable, and you can collect them in any order. They begin appearing on your map after Main Quest 5, but some require further story progress before you can reach them. You’ll need your Ikran from Main Quest 11 to reach 3 additional flowers in the Kinglor Forest. The Deeper Connection flower also requires you to clear the Level 20 Laser Ore Base first. Progress to Main Quest 14 to access the 5 flowers in the Upper Plains. Progress to Main Quest 20 to access the 2 flowers in the Clouded Forest.

Tip

You only need 3 for the trophy, so there is no reason to hunt all 12 immediately. Grab the easiest ones you naturally pass while exploring, then come back for the rest later if you want their abilities. Some of these skills are genuinely useful, especially Air Boost, Soft Landing, Deeper Connection, and Free Fast Travel, so this is one collectible hunt that actually pays you back.

Trophy: Wildlife Expert

Unlock 20 Hunter's Guide entries for gatherable wildlife.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Unlock 20 Hunter’s Guide entries for gatherable wildlife. Pandora has 42 wildlife species, but only gatherable wildlife counts toward this trophy. To inspect a species, hold R1 and press R3 while looking at it. Once scanned, it will be added to the Hunter’s Guide, where you can see what materials it provides and how useful those materials are. You can also unlock entries by obtaining animal materials from baskets, so you may make progress without directly scanning every creature yourself. Only wildlife that provides usable materials counts. Small creatures like lizards, butterflies, and some birds do not count if they are not gatherable. You can also make progress by scanning things like nests, hives, and shells if they provide gatherable materials. Useful gatherable wildlife materials include: Bone Egg Fatty Meat Fish Heavy Hide Horn Light Hide Nectar Shell Tooth Once you have 20 valid Hunter’s Guide entries, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Make a habit of scanning new wildlife whenever you enter a new area. If you do this naturally while progressing through the story, you should reach 20 without needing a dedicated cleanup run. Pandora has a lot of wildlife, and apparently being a Na’vi also means becoming a part-time field biologist.

Trophy: Becoming Na'vi

Unlock 3 skills in each skill tree.

Type: Bronze

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Unlock at least 3 skills in each of the 5 skill trees. The 5 skill trees are: Hunter Survivor Maker Warrior Rider That means you need 15 total skills for the trophy. Skill points are mainly earned by finding Tarsyu Saplings around Pandora, with additional points coming from quests. A cheap route is: Survivor 3 points total Vigor I Vitality I Careful Step Warrior 5 points total Strength I Extra Ammo I Strength II Hunter 4 points total Shadow Hunter Bountiful Hunter Light-Footed Hunter I Maker 4 points total Connoisseur I Connoisseur II Expert Forager I Rider 5 points total Barrel Roll Aerial Fishing I Favorite Food Once you have 3 unlocked skills in every tree, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Tip: The Rider tree is locked until you bond with your Ikran during Take Flight, so you cannot finish this trophy before that point. Tip: Keep grabbing Tarsyu Saplings whenever you see them. Since they award skill points directly, they are the fastest way to build toward this trophy. You only need 3 skills in each tree, so you do not have to completely master everything. Just enough hunting, surviving, crafting, fighting, and flying to officially qualify as someone who can do a little bit of everything on Pandora.

This opens that tree’s final Apex Challenge, which can be tracked from the quest menu. Complete the challenge and the Apex Skill will unlock. The 5 Apex Skills and their challenges are: Hunter – Pandora’s Harmony Non-predator wildlife will ignore you while your weapon is holstered. Challenge: Defeat a Hammerhead Titanothere and a Soundblast Colossus with clean kills. Survivor – Second Wind Allows you to revive yourself and gain 10 seconds of damage reduction at the cost of 50% of your maximum energy. Challenge: Defeat a Feral Viperwolf and Feral Thanator with clean kills. Maker – Master Crafter Makes crafted weapons and armor more powerful. Challenge: Craft an Energizing Longbow. Warrior – Powerful Shots Bow and spear hits have a chance to stun enemies. Challenge: Defeat an AMP Veteran and Elite Commando using only weak-point hits with the Spear-Thrower. Rider – Hunter’s Boon A successful flying takedown restores 100% of your Ikran’s stamina and staggers nearby RDA units. Challenge: Perform flying takedowns on Samson and Scorpion helicopters. You only need to complete 1 of these Apex Challenges for the trophy.

Tip

Pick the skill tree you are already investing heavily in rather than spreading your points across all 5 just for this trophy. Tarsyu Saplings are one of your main sources of skill points, so keep grabbing them while exploring. One fully mastered skill tree is all you need. You do not have to become the greatest hunter, survivor, crafter, warrior, and rider on Pandora all at once. Save something for the sequel.

Trophy: Hit Them Where It Hurts

Defeat five RDA Outposts.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Destroy 5 RDA Outposts. There are 19 RDA Outposts across Pandora, but you only need to clear 5 for this trophy. These are much larger than the smaller RDA Installations and are usually defended by: 10–15 active AMPs 20–30 troops Up to 5 turrets On the map, they look like large industrial refinery complexes, and the surrounding area stays orange until the Outpost is destroyed. Once you clear the objectives and shut the base down, Pandora’s Air Quality increases by 2%. RDA Outposts come in several types: Gas Harvester Hydro-Oil Extractor Gas Extraction Plant Steam Outpost Horizontal Miner Oil Extractor Drill Outpost Stone Processor Destroy any 5 and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

You eventually need to clear all Outposts for Reclaim Pandora, so treat this trophy as natural progress toward the bigger cleanup. Five outposts down. The RDA is starting to notice the pattern.

Hit Them Where It Hurts PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Little by Little

Defeat 10 RDA installations.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Destroy 10 RDA Installations. There are 35 RDA Installations spread across Pandora, but you only need to clear 10 for this trophy. These are smaller RDA facilities typically guarded by: 2 active AMPs 1 passive AMP 7 soldiers On the map, they resemble small industrial oil-rig structures, and the surrounding area will remain orange while the Installation is active. Destroy the required machinery and complete the objectives at each Installation to shut it down. Every destroyed Installation increases Pandora’s Air Quality by 1% and allows wildlife and Na’vi to begin returning to the surrounding area. RDA Installations come in several types: Pneumatic Towers Gas Collectors Hydro Injectors Dredgers Drill Towers VSM Installations Laser Prospectors Seismic Scanners Pneumatic Prospectors Destroy any 10 of them and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Do these naturally while traveling between story missions instead of leaving all of them for the end. Clearing them also contributes toward Reclaim Pandora, where you’ll eventually need to clean up the entire map. Ten installations down for this trophy. Plenty more RDA machinery left waiting for an extremely aggressive environmental inspection.

Trophy: No Easy Prey

Defeat a thanator (non-feral).

Type: Gold

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Defeat a non-feral Thanator. This does not count the feral Thanators you encounter during the story, so you need to hunt one of the wild versions found around Pandora. Known locations include: Thanator Montor’s River, south of Gossamer Lakes in the Kinglor Forest. Kinglor Wetlands Thanator Spool Island, south of Silk Woods in the Kinglor Forest. Boulderlands Thanator South of Ensnared Lake, in the center of Cascading Stones in the Clouded Forest. White Moss Forest Thanator Northeast of Carver’s River, in the center of Cradling Pines in the Clouded Forest. When you enter a Thanator’s territory, the edges of the screen will begin turning white and you’ll hear a heartbeat. Use the heartbeat to track its direction. The louder it gets, the closer you are. Thanators are around Level 20 and can be extremely dangerous if your equipment is underpowered, so it is best to wait until you are around Level 18 or higher before attempting the hunt. Once you kill a valid non-feral Thanator, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Go in with strong gear, good weapons, and as much health as possible. Setting the difficulty to Easy can also make this hunt much more manageable.

Warning

Story-related feral Thanators do not count. You need to defeat a wild, non-feral Thanator for the trophy. This thing is basically Pandora’s version of a six-legged tiger that woke up and chose violence. Come prepared.

Trophy: Reclaim Pandora

Reach an air quality level of 100%.

Type: Gold

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Reach 100% Air Quality by destroying every RDA facility on Pandora. To fully clean up the map, you need to destroy: 35 RDA Installations 19 RDA Outposts 3 RDA Bases Each facility type contributes a different amount toward Air Quality: RDA Installation: +1% RDA Outpost: +2% RDA Base: +9% You can check Pandora’s current Air Quality from any Field Lab or from HQ after Main Quest 3. Reaching 100% will also complete the side quest Cleaning the Air. RDA Installations are the smallest facilities and are usually defended by: 2 active AMPs 1 passive AMP 7 troops They appear on the map like small oil-rig structures, and the surrounding area stays orange until they are destroyed. The 35 Installations are split across: 5 Pneumatic Towers 5 Gas Collectors 5 Hydro Injectors 5 Dredgers 3 Drill Towers 4 VSM Installations 3 Laser Prospectors 2 Seismic Scanners 3 Pneumatic Prospectors RDA Outposts are much larger and are usually defended by: 10–15 active AMPs 20–30 troops Up to 5 turrets These look like large refinery complexes on the map and also keep the surrounding area orange until cleared. The 19 Outposts are split across: 2 Gas Harvesters 3 Hydro-Oil Extractors 2 Gas Extraction Plants 2 Steam Outposts 3 Horizontal Miners 2 Oil Extractors 3 Drill Outposts 2 Stone Processors The final category is RDA Bases. Two of the 3 Bases are destroyed automatically through the main story. The remaining one is Laser Ore Processor Alpha in the Kinglor Forest. It is available from early in the game, but it is one of the hardest RDA locations, so it is best saved until you are around Level 18 or higher. Once every Installation, Outpost, and Base is destroyed and Air Quality reaches 100%, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Do Installations and Outposts naturally while traveling between story missions. If you leave everything until the end, this trophy turns into one very long RDA demolition tour.

Warning

Save Laser Ore Processor Alpha for late game when your gear and skills are much stronger. Nothing says “environmental restoration” quite like removing every giant RDA machine from the map one explosion at a time.

Trophy: Apprentice Crafter

Craft a weapon or gear piece of 'superior' rarity or higher.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Craft a weapon or gear piece of Superior rarity or higher. Equipment rarity is shown by color: Fine Shiny Green Superior Purple Exquisite Yellow For this trophy, you need to craft either a Purple Superior item or a Yellow Exquisite item. The easiest way to get started is by visiting merchants in Clan settlements. Each settlement has 2 merchants: One sells weapons. One sells gear. Speak to them, open the Designs tab, and redeem the available designs. Once you have a design, go to a Crafting Table found in settlements, camps, or Field Labs. Select the weapon or gear piece you want to make and check which materials are required. To craft Superior or Exquisite equipment, you will need materials of matching quality. If you are missing a specific material, pin it by pressing Square and then use the map to help track down where it can be found. Once you successfully craft a Superior or Exquisite weapon or gear piece, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Grab as many free Designs from Clan merchants as you can. Having more options makes it much easier to find something you already have the right materials to craft.

Trophy: Kinglor Carer

Complete the final Steady Wings side quest.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Complete the final Steady Wings side quest. You first need to complete Main Quest 13: Pushing Back to open the eastern areas of the Kinglor Forest. After that, return to Hometree and speak with Etuwa in the highest room to begin the questline. Interact with the branch behind her and pick up the queen moth. Your goal is to carry her safely to her new home. The main mechanic here is the queen’s stress meter. If her stress reaches maximum, she will leave and you’ll need to retry from the last checkpoint. To keep her calm: Avoid swimming. Avoid combat. Try not to fall. Be careful while sprinting. Along the route, you’ll find small trees where you can place the queen. Doing this resets her stress level to zero and also acts as a checkpoint. If the stress meter fills afterward, you restart from one of these trees rather than being sent all the way back to Hometree. Once you deliver the queen successfully, return to Hometree and speak with Etuwa again. She will give you the next queen. Repeat the process until you complete the third and final part of Steady Wings. The trophy will unlock once the full questline is finished.

Tip

Tip: Take your time. This is one of those trophies where trying to save 20 seconds by sprinting everywhere can easily cost you several minutes if the queen gets stressed and resets. Tip: Use every small tree checkpoint you come across. Resetting the stress meter regularly makes the route much safer. Nothing tests your Na’vi warrior skills quite like carefully carrying a very anxious moth through the jungle without upsetting her.

Trophy: One with the Clans

Complete part 3 of the Aranahe Community, Zeswa Community, and Kame'tire Community side quests.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Complete Part 3 of the Aranahe Community, Zeswa Community, and Kame’tire Community side quests. Each of Pandora’s 3 major clans has its own home region: Aranahe Clan Kinglor Forest Zeswa Clan Upper Plains Kame’tire Clan Clouded Forest Each region contains a main clan home along with several smaller camps. When you discover a camp, it is added to your map and can be used for fast travel later. Inside each camp is a red hanging basket. Interact with the basket to see what that camp needs for its Clan Contribution. Each camp only asks for 1 item or resource. Once you deliver the requested item, the marker above that camp changes from blue to green and your relationship with that clan progresses. To make this trophy much easier, whenever you discover a new camp, immediately add its request to your Clan Contributions list in the Quests menu. That way, if you happen to find the required plant, animal material, or other resource while working on something else, you can grab it right away instead of making a separate trip later. You can also pin the requested item through the Hunter’s Guide or Clan Contributions menu. When using Na’vi Senses, a pinned resource will appear highlighted in gold if it is nearby. The Hunter’s Guide also tells you where common and rarer versions of plants and animals can be found. Complete Part 3 of all 3 Clan Community questlines and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Tip: Do these gradually while exploring. Waiting until the end and then hunting down every random camp request turns this into a much longer grind than it needs to be. Tip: Pin whatever resource you currently need. Na’vi Senses makes these requests much less painful once the game is actively pointing at your shopping list. Three clans, a mountain of favors, and enough deliveries to make you feel like Pandora’s most overqualified courier.

Tip

Once you have your Ikran, take advantage of it. Exploration, collectibles, and fast traversal become much easier from this point forward. You came looking for an alliance and left with a flying mount. Pretty solid upgrade.

Trophy: Stronger Together

Complete the quest Combined Forces.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete Main Quest 19: Combined Forces. You’ll earn this after completing: MQ14: The Wandering Clan MQ15: Hunter’s Hunter MQ16: The Lodge MQ17: The Weeping Gorge MQ18: Call to Battle MQ19: Combined Forces After gaining the support of the Aranahe, you’ll head into the Upper Plains to seek help from the Zeswa Clan. During this stretch of the story, you’ll uncover the RDA’s hunting operation and see just how badly they are affecting the local wildlife and the Zeswa. Keep progressing through the main quests until you take part in another major assault against an RDA base. Complete Combined Forces and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

This section opens up even more of Pandora, so it is a great time to keep scanning wildlife, grabbing nearby collectibles, and activating fast-travel points while moving between story objectives. At this point, the resistance is growing and the RDA’s property insurance premiums are probably getting ridiculous.
