EARLY GAME For your first run, the best way to experience Big Walk is to go in mostly blind and explore with your friends. Around 90% of the trophy list can be handled naturally during this stage, so focus on wandering, solving puzzles, completing the main towers, and enjoying the chaos instead of worrying about a strict checklist. Trophy: Big Climb
Reach the highest point
Type: Gold
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Reach the highest point on the map. First, complete the Green tower to activate the chairlift. Ride it from the tower toward the tall mountain and get off at the mountain stop. From there, follow the path upward until you reach the very top. Walk underneath the large antenna and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
This is easiest to do as soon as the chairlift becomes available. No complicated puzzle here, just a good old-fashioned uphill walk.

Trophy: Big Help
Wear something on your hip
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Wear something on your hip. A Hip Pouch can be found after activating the Blue tower and unlocking the train system. Ride the train until you reach the area with the nearby puzzle, then head toward the building to the right and continue past it. You should eventually find another blue spiral with a Hip Pouch hanging inside. Have your friend place the Hip Pouch on you to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Once you find it, put it on each other so both players get the trophy. Efficient teamwork: help your friend, help yourself, and avoid making another trip later.

Trophy: Big Makeover
Get shiny
Type: Gold
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Get shiny. You can reach the shiny area after completing the Yellow tower and unlocking the tunnel system. A convenient starting point is the tunnel entrance below the Blue tower. From there: Go straight until the first split, then turn left toward the Green tower. Take the first opportunity to turn right and drop down, then turn right again. Continue straight until the next split and take the left path into the red tunnel. Follow this path past the first split on the left and continue across the large bridge into the blue tunnel. In the next room, drop all the way to the bottom level and enter the shiny area. Once there, paint your friend and have them paint you. The trophy should unlock after your character gets the shiny effect.
Tip
Do this together so both players earn it in one visit. The tunnel route is the confusing part; once you find the room, the actual makeover is easy.

Trophy: Big Pack
Wear a backpack
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Wear a backpack. A backpack can be found near the Red tower. From the top of the tower, look down toward the large blue spiral near the green button puzzle. Inside the spiral is a backpack hanging up. Have another player pick it up and place it on you to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Grab this early. The backpack is genuinely useful for carrying items, so this is one of those trophies that also makes the rest of the game easier.

Trophy: Big Game
Completely finish the game
Type: Gold
Category: Ending
Unlock Details
Completely finish the game by reaching the true ending. After earning Big Goodbye and returning to the game, two important changes will appear: The black ball in the spawn area will now be broken open, revealing a key slot. New purple bulb puzzles will appear in the previously empty southern area shown in the map room. You now need to finish every remaining puzzle in the game, including the seven new purple puzzles and any basic red puzzles you skipped during your first run. To reach the purple puzzle area, ride the chairlift all the way around to the far side of the island. These seven puzzles are harder versions of mechanics you have already seen, so expect a little more coordination than before. Keep returning to turn in bulbs whenever your inventory fills up. For any missing red puzzles, use the large map model in the map room to see which locations are still incomplete, then compare those positions with the paper map and use the coordinate TV to track them down. Once every required puzzle has been completed and all bulbs have been turned in, you will receive the key for the new slot in the spawn area. Use the key to enter the final ending room, complete the last white-room sequence, and finish the true ending.
Tip
The hardest part is usually not solving the remaining puzzles, it is finding the one red bulb your group somehow walked past five hours ago. Use the map room and coordinate TV together rather than blindly searching the island.

Trophy: Big Goodbye
Finish the game
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Finish the game. This comes shortly after Big Wall. Enter the large black sphere and work your way upward through a series of puzzles. These are mostly simpler versions of mechanics you have already encountered throughout the game, so none should cause too much trouble. Once you reach the top and complete the final section, say goodbye to your friend and have both players leave the world through the large arch. The trophy will unlock after you exit.
Tip
There is no major cleanup needed inside this section. Just enjoy the ending and try not to make the goodbye more emotionally dramatic than your group can handle.

Trophy: Big Ride
Ride the train
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Ride the train. Complete enough puzzles around the Blue tower to collect five bulbs, then finish the tower. The key cutters will lead you to the train station where you can activate the trains. Once a train arrives, hop aboard and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
There are plenty of puzzles around the Blue tower, so different groups may reach the five-bulb requirement in completely different ways. No route is wrong.

Trophy: Big Sit
Ride the chairlift
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Ride the chairlift. Complete five nearby puzzles for the Green tower and turn in the bulbs. Once the tower is finished, follow the key cutters to the chairlift platform and activate it. Sit in any chairlift seat once it is running and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You can complete whichever nearby puzzles you prefer. There is no required order, so just use the ones your group finds easiest.

Trophy: Big Tunnel
Enter a big tunnel
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Enter the large tunnel connected to the Yellow tower. Complete enough puzzles around the Yellow tower to collect five bulbs, then finish the tower and take the key from the top. Follow the key cutters to the Yellow tunnel entrance, place the key in its slot, and enter the tunnel. The trophy will unlock as soon as you go inside.
Tip
There are plenty of puzzles around the Yellow tower, so you do not need to follow one exact route. Just complete whichever five your group finds first and keep moving.

Trophy: Big View
Visit the map
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Visit the map room. Complete five puzzles around the Red tower and turn in the five bulbs. Afterward, follow the key cutters to the map room door. Place the key beside the door, unlock it, and enter the map room to earn the trophy.
Tip
The map room becomes one of the most useful places in the game later on, especially when tracking down missing puzzles.

Trophy: Big Walk
Cross the drawbridge
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Cross the drawbridge and leave the tutorial area. The opening area teaches the basic co-op mechanics through four simple puzzles. You will need to complete challenges involving holding buttons for another player, pressing switches at the same time, lifting a friend so they can reach a button, and solving a tile puzzle by communicating the correct order. Once all four are complete, place the rewards into the castle-like structure at the back of the area to receive a key. Use it to unlock the drawbridge and enter the main game.
Tip
Nothing here is difficult, so use this section to get comfortable with how Big Walk expects you to communicate with your friends. Consider it the calm before everyone starts confidently giving each other the wrong directions.

Trophy: Big Wall
Go beyond the wall
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Go beyond the wall. After completing all four main towers, make your way to the giant Black tower. If you have already opened the shortcut to the left of the map room, you can use it to reach this area much faster. Climb to the top of the Black tower. One player in the group will receive a vision, and you will then need to collect six additional red bulbs. Once all six are collected, you will receive the Black key. Take it to the large box along the green wall, place the key, and complete the button section inside. Continue toward the large black sphere beyond the wall to unlock the trophy.
Tip
If you have the shortcut near the map room unlocked, use it. At this point you have already done enough walking to justify taking the scenic route off the schedule.

For your first run, the best way to experience Big Walk is to go in mostly blind and explore with your friends. Around 90% of the trophy list can be handled naturally during this stage, so focus on wandering, solving puzzles, completing the main towers, and enjoying the chaos instead of worrying about a strict checklist.
Make sure you eventually equip both a backpack and something on your hip for Big Pack and Big Help. As you explore, you should also naturally unlock trophies tied to major landmarks and transportation, including Big View, Big Sit, Big Ride, Big Tunnel, and Big Climb.
There is no required puzzle order. Each tower has enough nearby puzzles that different groups may progress in completely different ways, so do not worry if your route looks nothing like someone else's. That freedom is a big part of the game.
As more towers are completed, the world becomes easier to navigate and several important routes and transportation options open up. Keep exploring naturally and finish enough puzzles to complete all of the main towers.
One useful tool is the TV found near the green tower. It displays your coordinates and can be placed on another player's backpack, making navigation much easier once you understand how the map's X and Y axes work. It is especially helpful if your group starts getting lost while hunting specific puzzle locations.
You are encouraged to use Big Walk's in-game voice chat because communication is part of how the game is designed. Using Discord or talking outside the game can make some puzzles much easier, but if this is your first playthrough, the in-game microphones make the whole adventure considerably more entertaining. Sometimes being slightly confused together is half the game.
Once the main towers are finished, head toward the large square opening in the green wall. Continue through this area and complete the relatively simple puzzles surrounding the giant black circle.
Passing through the final section will lead to the game's first ending and unlock Big Walk. You should also have most of the miscellaneous trophies finished by this point if you explored thoroughly during your journey.
After seeing the first ending, you can re-enter the world with your friends. Seven additional purple puzzles will now appear on the map model inside the map room, filling in the previously empty southern mountain range. Complete these seven puzzles along with any remaining puzzles needed for full completion.
The resulting bulbs must be delivered to a special room containing 15 bulb slots. An easy route to this area is through the unlockable path to the left of the map room, which leads toward a green structure. Once all 15 bulbs are placed, you will receive the key needed to access the true ending and unlock Big Game.
If you are missing red bulb puzzles near the end, do not wander around the entire map hoping to stumble across them. The map room and the coordinate TV are your best tools for tracking down anything you missed.
Look at the map model and search for red bulb locations that do not have a flag above them. Compare their positions against the paper map, then use the coordinate markings along the edges to estimate where each missing puzzle should be. The TV shows your current coordinates, so once you have the first couple of numbers for both axes, you can travel to the general area and search for the structure containing the bulb.
Puzzle buildings usually stand out once you are nearby, although finding them at night can make things more annoying than they need to be. If visibility becomes a problem, come back when the area is easier to read rather than turning the hunt into an accidental hiking simulator.
Big Walk also has a form of partial autopop through shared worlds. Joining a world where major progress has already been completed can allow you to quickly earn transportation trophies by simply using the unlocked rides, and both ending trophies can be earned by entering their completed areas and watching the associated cutscenes. This can reduce the Platinum dramatically, but for a first playthrough, experiencing the puzzles normally with friends is the much better way to see what the game is actually about.
