Roadmap

Early Game

You start in Lumière and quickly move into your first real area, Spring Meadows, where the game teaches you its core systems. Take your time here and actually learn the combat instead of rushing through fights, especially dodging and parrying since they are the backbone of everything that comes later. If something feels off, slow it down and watch enemy animations instead of trying to brute force damage.

This is also your first chance to explore, grab shards, and get a feel for how the world is structured. There are a couple of early missables, including a hidden encounter in the prologue, so keep your eyes open and do not sprint past everything. If you are unsure where something is or feel like you missed something, just Ask Gami and save yourself the backtracking later.

Mid Game

Once you move into areas like Ancient Sanctuary and beyond, the game starts opening up and adding more mechanics. Enemy types become more complex, and you will need to start thinking about your builds, upgrades, and how your party works together instead of just attacking. This is where the combat really clicks, and also where it can punish you if you are not paying attention.

Make sure you are upgrading your weapons regularly and using your materials wisely instead of spreading upgrades too thin. A good tip here is to focus on one main damage dealer and build around them, it makes fights much more manageable. You will also start working toward collectibles and side content naturally, so just explore as you go instead of grinding anything out early.

Late Game

As you approach the final sections, the difficulty ramps up and the game expects you to fully understand its systems. This is the time to clean up your builds, make sure your gear is upgraded, and double check that you are ready before pushing forward. There is a clear point of no return, so do not rush into it without preparing.

Some of the later fights can be long and demanding, so patience is key here. If a boss is giving you trouble, take a step back and focus on survival first, then look for safe openings to deal damage. You made it this far, so trust your setup and play smart instead of forcing it.

Trophy Cleanup and Extra Tips

Most trophies will come naturally as you progress, especially if you explore and complete side content along the way. Anything you missed can usually be cleaned up afterward or in a second run, so do not stress about perfection on your first playthrough. Just enjoy the ride and let the trophies come to you.

If you are going for full completion, this is where you can go back and grab collectibles, finish optional fights, and wrap up anything left behind. Some things can be easy to miss, so do not hesitate to Ask Gami if you are stuck or missing something specific. Stay patient, keep chipping away, and you will have that platinum before you know it.
