Trophy: Banora Treasures
Collected all items and arrived at Angeal's house before the Banora airstrike.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Collect all five hidden treasures in Banora and reach Angeal's house before the airstrike during Chapter 2. Before entering the factory, locate and interact with all five glowing treasure spots: three in Banora village and two along the path toward the factory. You cannot collect them yet, but interacting with each location is required. After completing the factory section and the shell-cutting minigame, a 45-second countdown begins. Sprint back toward Angeal's house, collecting all five treasures along the way. Reach the house before the timer expires to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Memorize the five treasure locations before entering the factory. Knowing exactly where to run makes the timed return considerably easier. Zack is fast, but sightseeing during an incoming airstrike is probably best avoided.
Warning
You must inspect all five glowing spots before entering the factory. Missing even one prevents you from collecting the full set during the timed return.

Trophy: Bingo!
Guessed the exact number in the number-guessing game.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Correctly guess the exact number of children in the Sector 5 Slums Market guessing game during Chapter 4. After recovering Zack's wallet, speak with the boy offering the number-guessing game. You'll need to guess how many children will pass by, choosing a number between one and six. Ask the boy for his predictions, then ask Aerith for hers. Compare their suggested numbers and select the number appearing in both sets of guesses. Guess correctly to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The game can be repeated, so don't worry if your first guess is incorrect. Using Aerith's predictions makes finding the right answer considerably easier.
Warning
Complete the minigame while exploring the Sector 5 Slums in Chapter 4. Aerith's assistance is only available while she's accompanying Zack.

Trophy: Cage Opener
Opened the path to the Cage of Binding.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Open the path to the Cage of Binding during Chapter 10. While exploring the underground caverns beneath Banora, locate and examine the four gravestones scattered throughout the Depths of Judgement. Next, travel to the Lake of Oblivion and interact with all five glowing crystal formations. Each releases an enemy that must be defeated. Once you've activated all five crystals and defeated their guardians, the route to the Cage of Binding opens and the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Explore the surrounding areas carefully before progressing toward the final boss. The accompanying video will help locate the gravestones and crystals without unnecessary backtracking.
Warning
Complete this objective before finishing the game. Keep a manual save in Chapter 10 so you can return if you overlook one of the required locations.

Trophy: Cell Raider
Checked all cells on the 67th floor of the Shinra Building.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Open all six cells on the 67th floor of the Shinra Building during Chapter 4. While exploring Hojo's Fusion Chamber, activate the switch that releases six monsters into the cells below. You'll have three minutes to defeat the monsters, collect their keys, open all six cells, and retrieve the items inside. Equip Steal materia before starting. Each monster carries a Jail Cell Key, so steal its key before defeating it. Once you've collected all six keys, open every cell, collect the items, and return to Hojo within the time limit to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Save before activating the experiment and make sure Steal is equipped. The timer is manageable if you move quickly and avoid unnecessary detours. For once, Hojo's experiment is slightly more stressful for the person conducting it than for the monsters.
Warning
If you defeat a monster without stealing its key, you can lose access to its cell. Reload your save if this happens, and don't leave the area until you've collected everything.

Trophy: Everyone's Hero
Saved everyone calling for help during the assault on the Shinra Building in Chapter 3.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Rescue everyone calling for help during the attack on Shinra headquarters in Chapter 3. During the assault, Zack enters an elevator that suddenly stops. When given the choice, select the option to get off and investigate rather than immediately rushing to the entrance. Complete the three optional rescue encounters on the SOLDIER floor, then return to the elevator and continue toward the building entrance. Once you reach LOVELESS Avenue, explore both sides of the street and complete the two additional rescue encounters before advancing. After saving all five groups, the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Take the time to explore whenever the game offers a choice between investigating and rushing toward your objective. Being everyone's hero occasionally requires ignoring Shinra's extremely urgent instructions.
Warning
All five rescue encounters must be completed during the Chapter 3 assault. Advancing past these areas without helping everyone will cause you to miss the trophy.

Trophy: Fan Club Savior
Helped every fan club continue their activities.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Help every struggling fan club continue its activities during Chapter 7. Start by speaking with the Genesis fan in the Sector 8 Fountain area. When she mentions financial trouble, suggest merging her fan club with a wealthier group. Visit the Genesis fan in LOVELESS Avenue to arrange the merger, then return to the Fountain area to finalize it. Next, speak with the young boy near the fountain whose mother has abandoned him to follow her favorite SOLDIER. Find his mother at the train station and convince her to return by choosing "A mother without honor is a monster." Return to the boy and his mother to complete the quest and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Complete this alongside Fan Club Aficionado. Apparently, Zack's responsibilities now include saving the world, managing fan clubs, and providing family counseling.
Warning
Both fan club problems must be resolved during Chapter 7 before leaving Midgar. Advancing to Chapter 8 permanently closes this opportunity.

Trophy: First-Rate SOLDIER
Defeated all virtual data in the Training Room.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Defeat all four virtual opponents in Hojo's Training Room during Chapter 3. Visit the Training Room on the SOLDIER floor of Shinra headquarters and speak with Hojo to begin his combat simulations. Complete all four trials, with the final challenge featuring a powerful Behemoth. Defeat every opponent to unlock the trophy.
Tip
The Behemoth attacks quickly, so guarding is often more reliable than constantly dodging. Equip defensive accessories, attack between its combinations, and avoid getting greedy. Hojo apparently considers nearly getting eaten by a monster an acceptable employee assessment.
Warning
Complete all four simulations during Chapter 3 while Hojo is available in the Training Room. Don't advance the story without finishing them.

Trophy: Godlike
Rated to have "godlike speed" in collecting materia.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Earn the highest speed rating during the materia collection minigame in Chapter 4. After recovering Zack's wallet, speak with the owner of the Item World shop in the Sector 5 Slums Market. He'll challenge Zack to retrieve 20 scattered materia as quickly as possible. Collect every piece and return to the shopkeeper in under 15 seconds to receive the "godlike speed" evaluation and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Memorize the route before attempting the challenge and sprint between materia pickups. You can retry until you achieve the required time. Somehow, gathering materia from the street is more demanding than several of Zack's actual SOLDIER assignments.
Warning
The highest rating is also useful for Good Match For Aerith. Complete the challenge during Chapter 4 before progressing beyond the slums.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhghpU7_R0A&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=8&pp=iAQB0gcJCUcMAYcqIYzv

Trophy: Good Match For Aerith
Told by Bruno that you and Aerith "make a good couple."
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Earn enough affection with Aerith during Chapter 4 for Bruno to declare that you make a good couple. While exploring the Sector 5 Slums, perform optional activities that improve Aerith's opinion of Zack. Important actions include speaking with the three shopkeepers during the search for Bruno, helping the children in the market, purchasing medicine for Bruno, and performing well in the available minigames. You'll also want to achieve the Godlike materia collection rating and create three perfect perfumes in a row. Before leaving the slums, Bruno will evaluate Zack and Aerith's relationship. If he says they make a good couple, the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Complete every affection-boosting activity rather than relying on the minimum required score. Zack might be an excellent SOLDIER, but even he could use a little help figuring out how to impress someone.
Warning
Aerith's affection score is hidden, and several opportunities cannot be repeated after leaving the area. Follow the accompanying video and complete the activities before advancing Chapter 4.

Trophy: Hero of the Wutai War?
Received highest evaluation from Lazard for Assault on Fort Tamblin.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Receive Lazard's highest evaluation during the assault on Fort Tamblin in Chapter 1. While exploring the fort, defeat all 16 enemy groups before leaving the area. Eleven groups appear along the normal route, while five are hidden behind three rotating doors and two watchtowers. Check your progress before advancing. Once all 16 groups have been defeated, continue through the story to receive Lazard's highest evaluation and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Search every corner of the fort and interact with suspicious doors and towers. Shinra apparently expects Zack to defeat an entire army and uncover its hiding spots before his performance review.
Warning
This trophy is missable. Leaving Fort Tamblin without defeating all 16 groups prevents you from earning the highest evaluation during that playthrough.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_lBYhQp0xI&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=1&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Immovable Object
Defeated all enemies in Defense of the Junon Perimeter.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Defeat all 30 enemies during the Defense of the Junon Perimeter sequence in Chapter 6. During the attack on Junon, Zack must protect a large gate from approaching enemies. Intercept each group and defeat every enemy before they reach the entrance. Stay near the gate, prioritize enemies closest to it, and use powerful attacks to eliminate groups quickly. Defeat all 30 enemies without allowing any through to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Lightning attacks are particularly effective against these enemies. Position yourself near the gate and charge forward whenever a new group appears. Zack's officially been promoted from SOLDIER to extremely overqualified security guard.
Warning
If even one enemy gets through, you'll miss the trophy. Reload a previous save and repeat the defense sequence if necessary.

Trophy: Master Blender
Blended a perfume with the perfect amount of oil.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Create a perfect perfume for Aerith during Chapter 4. After recovering Zack's wallet in the Sector 5 Slums Market, visit the Shopping Paradise store and agree to blend perfume. The shopkeeper will request a specific number of oil drops. Watch the text carefully and count each addition: Drip: 1 drop DripDrip: 2 drops Splash!: 10 drops Stop pouring when you've reached the exact requested amount. Create one perfect perfume to unlock the trophy.
Tip
You can pause the game to count the drops if the messages move too quickly. Making three perfect perfumes in a row also helps with Good Match For Aerith. Apparently, mastering perfume is now part of the SOLDIER training program.

Trophy: Master Infiltrator
Infiltrated the mako excavation facility without being discovered once.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Infiltrate the mako excavation facility without being spotted during Chapter 5. While exploring Modeo Ravine, Zack must sneak past three Shinra guards to reach the facility. Watch each guard's movements and use the available cover to move between safe positions. Hold the crouch button when hiding behind the designated cover points, and advance only when the guards are looking away. Reach the facility entrance without being detected to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Make a manual save at the nearby save point before starting. Keep moving between hiding spots to prevent Zack's body temperature from dropping too far. Apparently, sneaking around in the snow wasn't difficult enough without having to worry about freezing.
Warning
Being spotted even once prevents the trophy from unlocking. If a guard discovers you, reload your manual save and repeat the infiltration before continuing.

Trophy: Master Mako Stone Miner
Prevented the Materia Room from being shut down.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Prevent the Materia Room from being shut down by collecting and delivering six Mako Stones. During Chapter 2, visit the Materia Room on the SOLDIER floor of Shinra headquarters before departing with Tseng. Speak with the researcher to unlock the Mako Stone missions. Complete Missions 8-2-1 through 8-2-6, collecting all six Mako Stones. Return to the Materia Room and deliver each stone to the researcher. After handing over the sixth stone, the department is saved and the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Fire materia is particularly useful against several enemies in these missions. Completing the mission chain early also provides valuable materia for Zack's growing collection.
Warning
You must unlock the mission chain by speaking with the researcher while the Materia Room is accessible. Don't rush into the Chapter 2 story mission without visiting him first.

Trophy: Of Significant Worth
Judged by Hojo to be a "SOLDIER member of significant worth" in the Fusion Chamber.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Receive Hojo's highest evaluation during his experiment in Chapter 4. Inside Hojo's Fusion Chamber, interact with the large glass chamber at the end of the walkway. Hojo will ask Zack three questions about SOLDIER and Shinra. Choose the following answers in order: A SOLDIER operative like Sephiroth State-of-the-art science and technology A person unafraid to challenge Shinra After selecting all three answers correctly, Hojo will declare Zack a SOLDIER member of significant worth, unlocking the trophy.
Tip
The questions are straightforward once you know the answers. Just remember that Hojo's definition of a valuable employee is probably not something you'd want on your résumé.
Warning
This opportunity is only available during Chapter 4. Save before entering the chamber in case you accidentally select an incorrect answer.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0w3fBF0azo&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=12&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Precise Restoration
Achieved 100% recovery with the Mako Recovery Unit.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Achieve 100% recovery using the Mako Recovery Unit during Chapter 4. While exploring Hojo's Fusion Chamber in the Shinra Building, interact with the Mako Recovery Unit beside Hojo. The machine begins a countdown from five, but its display stops working after three. You must manually activate the switch at the exact moment the hidden countdown reaches zero. Successfully time the switch to achieve 100% recovery and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Count the remaining beats in your head after the display disappears. You can retry the experiment until you achieve a perfect result, so there's no need to settle for anything less than 100%.
Warning
Finish this challenge before leaving Hojo's Fusion Chamber in Chapter 4. You cannot return later to use the machine.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0TrUlnH97U&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=11&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Shinra's Squats Champion
Achieved victory against the SOLDIER 2nd Class in the physical fitness test.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Defeat all four opponents in the Shinra Building's physical fitness test during Chapter 5. Visit the Training Room on the SOLDIER floor and speak with the scientist conducting the squat competition. Zack must defeat four increasingly difficult opponents, ending with a SOLDIER 2nd Class operative. Press the prompted button when Zack reaches the lowest point of each squat. Successfully chaining repetitions increases his speed, allowing him to perform more squats before time runs out. Defeat the fourth opponent to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Focus on the rhythm of Zack's movements rather than repeatedly pressing the button. The final opponent typically completes 53 squats, so maintaining your combo is essential. Saving the world can wait; apparently, Shinra needs to know who has the strongest legs.
Warning
Complete all four squat challenges during Chapter 5 before leaving Midgar. The rewards are also required to construct one of Aerith's flower wagons for Midgar Full of Flowers.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IBuQDlwPUQ&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=14&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Slicin' SOLDIER
Cut down every incoming shell.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Successfully cut down all 10 incoming shells during the Banora airstrike sequence in Chapter 2. After completing the factory section, Zack must intercept a series of incoming artillery shells using his sword. Watch each approaching shell carefully and press the attack button when the blue targeting indicator appears. Successfully strike all ten shells without missing any to unlock the trophy. The final shell has slightly different timing, so stay focused until the sequence is completely finished.
Tip
Watch for the blue targeting indicator rather than trying to memorize the timing. Zack might be talented enough to slice artillery shells out of the air, but even SOLDIER training doesn't make guessing a particularly good strategy.
Warning
Missing even one shell prevents the trophy from unlocking. If you make a mistake, reload the latest autosave and repeat the sequence before progressing.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D6pYSnMM1c&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=4&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Waterfall Chaser
Collected ten chests coming down the waterfall in the hills of Gongaga.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Collect all 10 treasure chests during the waterfall minigame in Chapter 9. After the story encounter involving Genesis and Hollander in Gongaga, remain in the area and complete at least seven random battles. When you attempt to leave, a minigame becomes available where treasure chests and enemies rush down the waterfall. Collect all 10 chests while avoiding the enemies to unlock the trophy. The chests follow a repeating pattern, appearing in the center, left, and right positions.
Tip
Watch the pattern and move carefully between the incoming enemies. If you fail, you can trigger another attempt by completing seven more battles. Apparently, Gongaga's waterfalls have a surprisingly generous treasure delivery service.
Warning
Missing a chest or colliding with an enemy can ruin your attempt. Complete this activity before leaving Gongaga during Chapter 9.

Trophy: Wutai's Nemesis
Caught all the Wutai spies that had infiltrated Midgar.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Find and expose all six Wutai spies hiding throughout Midgar during Chapter 5. Begin by speaking with the SOLDIER 2nd Class operative in LOVELESS Avenue. He'll explain that six Wutai spies have infiltrated the city and provide clues to their identities. The spies are disguised as ordinary civilians, Shinra employees, and even a child. Locate them across LOVELESS Avenue, the Sector 5 Market, Shinra headquarters, the Sector 8 Fountain area, and Sector 6 Park. You must uncover the spies in the correct sequence, speaking to each suspect three times to expose their identity. After identifying the sixth spy, the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Follow the accompanying video to locate each spy without repeatedly searching Midgar. Completing this quest also rewards Walnut Wood, an important component for Midgar Full of Flowers.
Warning
Finish the investigation before leaving Midgar. The spies must be uncovered in order, and missing the quest prevents you from obtaining the Walnut Wood required for the flower wagon trophy.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLgPJUZ8JRw&list=PLRr5L69yg_kHSNm-c8dHB3FBEY8A3aJ1z&index=15&pp=iAQB

Trophy: Zack the Sniper
Did not allow a single gun bull head to escape while sniping.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Prevent every Gun Bull Head robot from escaping during the sniper minigame in Chapter 9. While escaping through the Nibelheim outskirts, you'll encounter eight sniper rifle stations. Use them to destroy the approaching robots before they flee. Defeating robots earns points that can be spent upgrading your rifle's damage, accuracy, and targeting capabilities. You can also earn upgrade points by defeating robots in regular encounters between stations. Clear all eight sniper sections without allowing a single robot to escape to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Farm upgrade points between sniper stations and prioritize maximum rifle damage. Smart Bombs are especially useful against tougher targets such as Biggs and Wedge. Even Zack could use a little help from modern technology.
Warning
One escaped robot is enough to fail the trophy requirement. There are no checkpoints within the sequence, so reload your previous save if anything escapes.

Trophy: Fan Club Aficionado
Joined every fan club.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Join all five fan clubs throughout the story. Three clubs become available in Chapter 2: Red Leather and Keepers of Honor in Sector 8's fountain area, and the LOVELESS Study Group in LOVELESS Avenue. In Chapter 5, join the Silver Elite by speaking with the Sephiroth fan in Sector 6 Park and correctly answering her questions. The final club is Zack's own fan club. Speak with Cissnei in Upper Junon during Chapter 6, immediately after the perimeter defense, then visit the receptionist at the Shinra Building entrance in Chapter 7 to join. The trophy unlocks after joining all five clubs.
Tip
Join each club as soon as it's available. Their messages also contribute toward Mail Completionist, making Zack's unexpected celebrity status surprisingly useful.
Warning
The conversation with Cissnei in Chapter 6 is essential. Missing it prevents Zack's fan club from becoming available in Chapter 7.

Trophy: Genji Equipment
Collected all Genji equipment.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Collect all four pieces of Genji equipment, some of the strongest accessories in the game. Each piece has a different unlock requirement: Genji Helm: Unlock Online Shop Shade by completing Mission 9-5-4, then purchase the helm for 1,000,000 gil. Genji Armor: Reach 100% completion for every DMW image. Genji Glove: Find it inside a treasure chest during Mission 9-6-4. Genji Shield: Encounter Magic Pot during Mission 7-6-6 and satisfy its requests using Gil Toss, Costly Punch, a 99,999-damage attack, and Octaslash. Once you've obtained all four accessories, the trophy unlocks.
Tip
Prepare your materia before attempting the Genji Shield challenge. Equipping Octaslash materia increases your chances of triggering Sephiroth's Limit Break, which is usually the trickiest part of satisfying Magic Pot.
Warning
If you haven't unlocked Magic Pot's DMW image beforehand, completing its requests in Mission 7-6-6 can reward that image instead of the Genji Shield. Unlock Magic Pot through an earlier encounter first to avoid having to complete the challenge twice.

Trophy: Limit Break Collector
Obtained all DMW images.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Obtain all 18 Digital Mind Wave (DMW) images. Seven character images unlock through story progression, while most summon and Chocobo Mode images are obtained by completing specific missions. The most important collectible is Phoenix, which is only available during Chapter 8 through the first Nibelheim Seven Wonders mystery. Speak with the boy investigating the wonders, examine the water tower, and obtain the Phoenix Materia. Complete the remaining DMW-related missions and encounters to unlock every image. Follow the accompanying video to locate all 18.
Tip
Check your DMW menu periodically to identify missing images. Several are tied to optional mission encounters, so exploring missions thoroughly can save you additional cleanup later.
Warning
Phoenix is missable. If you leave Chapter 8 without obtaining it, you cannot complete the DMW collection during that playthrough.

Trophy: Mail Completionist
Received mail from all senders.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Receive at least one email from every required sender. Throughout Zack's journey, different characters, fan clubs, and organizations send messages as you progress through the story and complete optional activities. Some senders are unlocked automatically, while others require joining fan clubs, speaking with specific NPCs, or completing certain missions. You don't need to receive every individual email in the game, only mail from all required senders. Follow the accompanying video to track down the missable contacts and complete your sender collection.
Tip
Join fan clubs as soon as they become available and speak with NPCs regularly. Several optional conversations unlock additional mail senders, so a little socializing goes a long way toward Platinum completion.
Warning
Some mail senders are tied to chapter-specific interactions, particularly Cissnei and Zack's fan club. Missing their prerequisites can make this trophy unobtainable during your current playthrough.

Trophy: Midgar Full of Flowers
Constructed every flower wagon type.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Construct all three flower wagon types for Aerith during Chapter 7. The first wagon is built automatically through the story, but the Cool Wagon and Cute Wagon require additional parts earned from earlier side activities and missions. Important requirements include completing the Wutai spy investigation, winning all four squat challenges, finishing the relevant mission chains, and collecting the remaining wagon components around Midgar. After building the first wagon, choose to spend more time with Aerith instead of continuing the story. Return to her church and construct the other two wagons to unlock the trophy. Follow the accompanying video to collect every required component.
Tip
Several wagon parts come from activities introduced as early as Chapter 2. Start gathering them as soon as possible rather than leaving everything until Chapter 7.
Warning
This trophy is highly missable. Some wagon components depend on missions unlocked by speaking with NPCs in earlier chapters. You must build all three wagons before leaving Midgar at the end of Chapter 7.

Trophy: Seven Wonders Expert
Learned about all of Nibelheim's Seven Wonders.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Investigate all seven mysteries of Nibelheim across Chapters 8 and 9. During Chapter 8, speak with the young boy in Nibelheim who tells Zack about the town's mysterious wonders. Complete each investigation in sequence, returning to the boy after each discovery. The first six wonders must be completed during Chapter 8. These include investigating the water tower, exploring Shinra Manor, and uncovering several unusual secrets around town. The seventh and final wonder becomes available during Chapter 9. After receiving the boy's email, collect the hidden Wall Materia in Nibelheim's outskirts to complete the quest and unlock the trophy. Use the accompanying video to follow all seven investigations in the correct order.
Tip
The first wonder rewards you with Phoenix Materia, which is required for Limit Break Collector and DMW Master. Definitely worth investigating, even if Nibelheim's tourism board has some explaining to do.
Warning
The first six wonders must be completed during Chapter 8, with the seventh collected during Chapter 9. Missing Phoenix or advancing the story too early can prevent you from earning multiple trophies in the same playthrough.

Trophy: Shop Completionist
Unlocked all shops.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Unlock all 16 shops in the game. Most shops are unlocked by completing specific missions, while a few become available through story progression or by discovering special treasure chests. Two important requirements deserve particular attention: Research Dept. QMC+: Found inside a treasure chest in Gongaga's outskirts during Chapter 9. Sector 8 Materia Shop, Sector 5 Materia Shop, and Sector 6 Accessory Shop: These require missions from the 6-2 series, unlocked by speaking with the City Planning Executives in Shinra Building's entrance area during Chapter 5. Complete the remaining shop-related missions and collect the required shop unlocks to earn the trophy.
Tip
Unlocking every shop is useful beyond the trophy itself. Several sell rare accessories and specialized materia that make the endgame grind much easier.
Warning
The Research Dept. QMC+ chest is missable, and failing to unlock the 6-2 mission chain before leaving Midgar can prevent you from accessing three shops. Follow the accompanying video to ensure you don't overlook either requirement.

Trophy: DMW Master
Achieved 100% progress for all DMW.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Achieve 100% progress for every DMW image. First, obtain all 18 DMW images. You'll then need to activate every character's unique DMW memories and trigger each summon or Chocobo Mode image at least once. The seven character images require multiple memory scenes, so this trophy can take several hours of additional battles. A convenient farming method is Mission 1-1-1. Equip materia that increases the likelihood of the character Limit Break you're missing, then remain in battle while the DMW cycles. Complete the mission afterward to save your progress, and check the DMW menu until every image reaches 100%.
Tip
Lucky Stars materia increases the chance of activating Cissnei's Limit Break, which improves your DMW state and helps trigger other Limit Breaks. Character-specific DMW materia can also speed up the grind. Zack's greatest challenge may ultimately be convincing a slot machine to show him another childhood memory.
Warning
This trophy becomes unobtainable during the current playthrough if you miss the Phoenix Materia in Chapter 8. Also, don't forfeit a farming mission after unlocking new memories; finish the mission to preserve your DMW progress.

Trophy: Mission Completionist
Completed 100% of all missions.
Type: Gold
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Complete all 300 missions in the game. Missions are accessed through save points, with new mission chains unlocked through story progression, NPC conversations, and previously completed missions. Several mission chains must be unlocked by speaking with specific characters in Midgar. Make sure you've activated all of these before leaving the city at the end of Chapter 7. Once every mission is complete, check the Missions menu to receive the Heike Soul accessory and unlock the trophy.
Tip
You can avoid many unnecessary encounters by running along the edges of mission areas. Save your strongest equipment and materia builds for the later missions, where enemies become considerably more dangerous.
Warning
Missing even one NPC-unlocked mission can prevent you from reaching 100% completion. There is no chapter select, and mission progress resets in New Game+, so secure every missable mission before Chapter 7 ends.

Trophy: Missions Completed: 75%
Completed 75% of all missions.
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Complete 75% of the game's 300 missions. Access missions through save points and continue clearing them until you've completed 225 missions. Many missions unlock by completing previous objectives, while others require speaking with specific NPCs during the story. As enemy difficulty increases, strengthen Zack through materia fusion and equip accessories that increase his HP and damage limits.
Tip
Prioritize missions that unlock additional accessory slots and powerful equipment. A well-prepared Zack can clear difficult missions much faster than one relying entirely on his standard equipment.

Trophy: Divine Rule Broken
Defeated Minerva.
Type: Gold
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Defeat Minerva, the game's optional superboss, in Mission 9-6-6. Minerva is the toughest enemy in CRISIS CORE REUNION, with 10 million HP on Normal difficulty and considerably more on Hard. Before attempting the fight, prepare an endgame build with high HP, Vitality, and Spirit. Accessories that break the normal HP and damage limits are extremely valuable. Costly Punch and Gil Toss are both effective damage options, while Curaga, defensive equipment, and Phoenix Downs help keep Zack alive. During the battle, watch for Minerva's powerful attacks, especially Judgment Arrow, which deals enormous damage, drains MP and AP, and removes Raise status. Keep your health high, restore Raise when necessary, and attack during safe openings until Minerva is defeated.
Tip
Minerva can be fought on Normal difficulty even if you're planning to earn SOLDIER of Legend. Defeat her before switching to Hard for the final story boss to avoid an unnecessarily punishing encounter. There's proving your SOLDIER honor, and then there's voluntarily making a superboss even angrier.
Warning
Don't enter this fight without proper preparation. Minerva can easily defeat an underpowered Zack, and her Judgment Arrow can remove your safety net by dispelling Raise. Keep Phoenix Downs available and avoid getting greedy with attacks.

Trophy: Overpowered
Dealt 99,999 damage to an enemy.
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Deal 99,999 damage to an enemy in a single hit. First, obtain the Brutal accessory by completing Mission 7-4-6. This removes Zack's normal 9,999 damage limit and allows attacks to reach 99,999 damage. Next, obtain the Costly Punch materia, which becomes available as a reward for reaching 55% mission completion. You can also create it through materia fusion. Equip Brutal and Costly Punch, then fight an enemy with enough HP to survive a powerful attack. With sufficiently high ATK and HP, use Costly Punch to deal 99,999 damage and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Costly Punch consumes Zack's HP, so heal before attacking to maximize its damage. It's one of the strongest abilities in the game and makes many difficult missions considerably easier. Apparently, punching things really hard is a legitimate alternative to years of SOLDIER training.

Trophy: Prove Your Honor to Me
Performed a limit break for the first time.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Perform a Limit Break for the first time. During the Prologue, you'll fight a Behemoth as part of Zack's training mission. This encounter introduces the Digital Mind Wave (DMW) system, which activates special abilities when certain character portraits align. When the tutorial triggers a Limit Break, follow the on-screen instructions to activate it. The trophy unlocks immediately after performing your first Limit Break.
Tip
Limit Breaks become an important part of combat, providing powerful attacks, healing, and other useful effects. Keep an eye on the DMW whenever it activates, especially during difficult boss fights.

Trophy: Got Materia Fusion Down
Performed materia fusion for the first time.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Perform materia fusion for the first time. During Chapter 3, visit the SOLDIER Director's Office and continue to the Briefing Room, where a Shinra scientist introduces materia fusion. Once the feature becomes available, open the main menu and select Materia Fusion. Choose any two compatible materia, such as Fire and Blizzard, and confirm the fusion to create a new materia. The trophy unlocks immediately after completing your first fusion.
Tip
Materia fusion is one of the most useful systems for preparing Zack for tougher missions. Later, you'll be able to create powerful abilities and add substantial stat bonuses to your materia. Shinra finally invented something that doesn't immediately turn into a boss fight.

Trophy: Missions Completed: 25%
Completed 25% of all missions.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete at least 25% of the game's 300 missions. Missions are accessed through save points and gradually unlock as you progress through the story, speak with NPCs, and complete earlier missions. Finish 75 missions to reach the required milestone and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Start completing missions early to earn better equipment, useful materia, and additional mission chains. Many missions only require defeating a specific enemy, so you can often avoid unnecessary encounters by following the edges of the map.

Trophy: Missions Completed: 50%
Completed 50% of all missions.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete at least 50% of the game's 300 missions. Continue working through the mission list available at save points until you've completed 150 missions. Higher-level missions introduce considerably stronger enemies, so take advantage of materia fusion, improved accessories, and additional equipment slots as they become available. The trophy unlocks once your overall mission completion reaches 50%.
Tip
Prioritize missions that unlock new shops, accessories, and equipment slots. These rewards make later challenges much more manageable and help prepare Zack for the toughest optional encounters.
Warning
Some missions only become available after speaking with specific NPCs during certain chapters. Make sure you've unlocked every missable mission chain before leaving Midgar at the end of Chapter 7, or you won't be able to complete all 300 missions in your current playthrough.

Trophy: SOLDIER of Legend
Cleared the game in Hard Mode.
Type: Gold
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete the game on Hard difficulty. Fortunately, you don't need to play the entire story on Hard. You can complete the game on Normal difficulty and switch to Hard just before the final boss. During Chapter 10, progress through the Depths of Judgement until you reach the final save point near the Portal of Severance. Before beginning the final battle, open the Options menu and change the difficulty to Hard. Defeat Genesis Avatar and Genesis while playing on Hard, then complete the remaining story sequences to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Prepare a strong endgame build before attempting the fight. Costly Punch, powerful healing materia, and accessories that break the normal HP and damage limits make the encounter considerably easier. Zack has already survived enough Shinra experiments without voluntarily making his entire adventure more difficult.
Warning
Make sure Hard difficulty is selected before entering the final boss encounter. Keep a separate manual save at the final save point so you can retry without replaying the story. You can also defeat Minerva on Normal before switching to Hard for this trophy.

Trophy: Angels Dream of One Thing
Cleared Chapter 3.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 3. During this chapter, Zack helps defend the Shinra Building against an unexpected attack. Follow the story objectives, defeat the invading enemies, and continue through the events surrounding Mako Reactor 5. After the chapter's final story sequences, the trophy unlocks automatically.
Tip
Chapter 3 introduces materia fusion, allowing you to combine materia and create stronger abilities. Start experimenting with it now, as it becomes extremely valuable when tackling tougher missions later.
Warning
During the Shinra Building assault, rescue everyone calling for help to earn Everyone's Hero. Also complete Hojo's Training Room simulations for First-Rate SOLDIER while they're available.

Trophy: Come and Get It
Won a battle for the first time.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Win your first battle. During the Prologue, Zack participates in a training mission that introduces the game's combat system. Follow the tutorial instructions and defeat the first group of enemies using your sword and available abilities. The trophy unlocks automatically after your first victory.
Tip
Experiment with guarding, dodging, and basic attacks during these early encounters. The training enemies are considerably more forgiving than the monsters waiting outside Shinra's carefully supervised workplace.

Trophy: Did Genesis Really Die?
Cleared Chapter 6.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 6. During this chapter, Zack travels to Junon, where he must defend the city against an enemy attack. Follow the story objectives, protect the Junon perimeter, and continue until you face the Prototype Guard Scorpion. Defeat the boss and complete the following story sequences to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Lightning-based attacks are particularly useful during the Junon perimeter defense. Keep moving between enemies and prioritize those closest to the gate.
Warning
Defeat all 30 enemies during the perimeter defense without allowing any through to earn Immovable Object. Afterward, speak with Cissnei in Upper Junon before continuing the story. This conversation is necessary to unlock Zack's fan club in Chapter 7.

Trophy: Embrace Your Dreams
Cleared the Prologue.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the Prologue. After starting the game, follow Zack through the opening tutorial battles to learn the basics of combat, including attacking, dodging, guarding, and using materia. You'll eventually face a Behemoth, where the game introduces the Digital Mind Wave (DMW) and Limit Break mechanics. Defeat the Behemoth and watch the following cutscene to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Use the tutorial to practice guarding and dodging. Mastering these mechanics early will make Zack's journey considerably easier, especially once enemies stop politely waiting for their turn to attack.

Trophy: He Wouldn't Betray Us
Cleared Chapter 1.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 1. During this chapter, Zack travels to Wutai to participate in the assault on Fort Tamblin. Progress through the fortress, defeat the enemy forces, and eventually face Ifrit in a boss battle. Defeat Ifrit and continue through the story until the chapter ends to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Ifrit uses powerful fire attacks, so stay mobile and dodge his larger attacks before counterattacking. Blizzard materia can help exploit his elemental weakness.
Warning
Before leaving Fort Tamblin, defeat all 16 enemy groups, including the hidden encounters, to qualify for the missable Hero of the Wutai War? trophy. You cannot return later to complete this objective.

Trophy: I May Abandon Shinra
Cleared Chapter 7.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 7. This chapter focuses on Zack's final preparations in Midgar before departing for Nibelheim. Continue through the story, help Aerith with her flower wagon, and complete any remaining activities in the city. When you're ready to leave, speak with the Shinra officer on the SOLDIER floor and confirm your departure. The trophy unlocks after the following story sequence.
Tip
Build all three flower wagon types for Midgar Full of Flowers, finish your fan club activities, and check your available missions before leaving. Consider making a separate manual save so you can return if something was overlooked.
Warning
The end of Chapter 7 is Midgar's point of no return. Once you depart, you cannot return to complete its side activities or unlock missed NPC-related missions. Double-check your progress before telling the officer you're ready to leave.

Trophy: I'll Come Visit
Cleared Chapter 8.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 8. Zack arrives in Nibelheim alongside Sephiroth and investigates the mysterious events surrounding the town and its mako reactor. Follow the story objectives, explore Shinra Manor, and continue through the events at Mount Nibel. You'll eventually confront Sephiroth in two consecutive boss encounters. Defeat Sephiroth and complete the chapter's final story sequences to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Sephiroth is a dangerous opponent with powerful sword attacks and magic. Dodge his heavier strikes, keep your health high, and use strong materia to deal damage whenever he leaves an opening. Even legends have to stop swinging their swords eventually.
Warning
Complete the first six Nibelheim Seven Wonders during Chapter 8. The first rewards you with Phoenix Materia, which is required for Limit Break Collector and DMW Master. Missing it can prevent you from earning several trophies during this playthrough.

Trophy: Protect Your SOLDIER Honor
Cleared Chapter 5.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 5. Zack's investigation takes him from Shinra headquarters to the snowy Modeo Ravine, where he'll uncover more information about Angeal and Genesis. Progress through the story objectives, infiltrate the mako excavation facility, and continue until you confront Angeal Penance. Defeat Angeal Penance and watch the following cutscenes to complete the chapter and unlock the trophy.
Tip
Angeal Penance has powerful attacks and a large health pool. Keep your HP topped up, guard or dodge his heavier strikes, and use your strongest materia whenever an opening appears.
Warning
Before leaving Midgar, complete Shinra's Squats Champion and Wutai's Nemesis. During the Modeo Ravine infiltration, avoid being spotted by guards to earn Master Infiltrator. These opportunities cannot be repeated later in the same playthrough.

Trophy: Thanks to You, Zack
Cleared Chapter 10.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 10 and finish the main story. Explore the underground caverns beneath Banora, collect the seven Goddess Materia required to open the final passage, and proceed to the Portal of Severance. You'll face Genesis Avatar followed by Genesis in the final boss encounters. Defeat both and continue through the concluding story sequences to unlock the trophy.
Tip
Make a separate manual save before entering the final battles. This gives you a reliable place to return for unfinished missions, DMW progress, and other collectibles.
Warning
For SOLDIER of Legend, change your difficulty to Hard before fighting the final boss. You can complete the earlier chapters on Normal, but the final encounter must be cleared on Hard to earn that trophy.

Trophy: We'll All Be Heroes
Cleared Chapter 9.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 9. After the events in Nibelheim, Zack and Cloud continue their journey toward Gongaga. Follow the main story objectives, defeat the enemies blocking your path, and progress until you confront Hollander. Defeat Hollander and complete the remaining story sequences to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Hollander can summon additional enemies during the fight. Clear them out when they become troublesome, then focus your strongest attacks on Hollander.
Warning
Chapter 9 contains several missable activities, including Zack the Sniper, Waterfall Chaser, and the final Nibelheim Seven Wonders collectible. Also collect the Research Dept. QMC+ shop from the treasure chest in Gongaga's outskirts before leaving.

Trophy: We're Not Monsters
Cleared Chapter 2.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Chapter 2. Zack and Tseng travel to Banora, the hometown of Angeal and Genesis, to investigate suspicious activity. Follow the story objectives through the village and factory until you encounter Bahamut. Defeat the boss and continue through the closing events of the chapter to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Bahamut frequently takes to the air, making ranged magic useful whenever he moves beyond your sword's reach. Keep your health topped up and avoid wasting attacks while he's out of range.
Warning
Chapter 2 contains two important missable trophies: Slicin' SOLDIER and Banora Treasures. Complete both during the Banora mission before advancing the story.

Trophy: Where Did Everyone Go?
Cleared Chapter 4.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Zack reunites with Aerith in the Sector 5 Slums before returning to Shinra headquarters for a series of experiments involving Professor Hojo. Follow the main story, recover Zack's stolen wallet, complete the required objectives, and progress through Hojo's Fusion Chamber. You'll eventually face Bahamut Fury before the chapter concludes. Complete the chapter to unlock the trophy automatically.
Tip
Take your time exploring the Sector 5 Slums and completing the available minigames. Several offer useful rewards, and you'll need to perform well in them for Good Match For Aerith.
Warning
Chapter 4 contains numerous missable trophies, including Master Blender, Bingo!, Godlike, Good Match For Aerith, Precise Restoration, Of Significant Worth, and Cell Raider. Complete these activities before advancing the story.

Welcome to SOLDIER, where oversized swords, questionable experiments, and corporate secrets are all part of the job. Your Platinum journey begins with Zack Fair's story, spanning a prologue and 10 chapters. Combat is fast-paced, so get comfortable with dodging, guarding, materia, and the Digital Mind Wave (DMW) system. Take time to explore between story missions, speak with NPCs, and complete available side missions. Unlike many RPGs, CRISIS CORE REUNION has no chapter select, and numerous trophies become permanently missable as the story advances.
The early chapters are packed with activities you'll want to complete immediately. In Chapter 1, defeat every enemy group inside Fort Tamblin for Hero of the Wutai War?. Chapter 2 introduces the Banora Treasures and Slicin' SOLDIER challenges, while Chapter 3 includes rescuing everyone during the Shinra Building assault and completing Hojo's Training Room simulations. Chapter 4 brings several minigames involving Aerith, along with Hojo's experiments. Complete these activities when they become available, because Zack might be a talented SOLDIER, but he hasn't quite mastered traveling backward through time to fix missed trophies.
Keep multiple manual saves throughout your adventure, especially before leaving major areas or beginning important story events. Start unlocking missions by speaking with NPCs in Midgar, and pay attention to fan clubs, mail senders, and optional conversations. Several mission chains and collectibles depend on interactions that can easily be overlooked. Following a chapter-by-chapter missables guide alongside your playthrough is strongly recommended if you want to earn the Platinum without starting over.
Chapters 5 through 7 are where careful planning really begins to pay off. Complete Shinra's Squat Champion and track down the Wutai spies before leaving Midgar in Chapter 5, then successfully infiltrate the mako excavation facility without being spotted. Chapter 6 introduces the Junon perimeter defense challenge, where you'll need to stop every enemy from reaching the gate. You'll also want to speak with Cissnei afterward to unlock an important fan club opportunity. Between battles, keep unlocking missions and gathering equipment that will make the tougher challenges easier.
Chapter 7 is the major point of no return for Midgar. Before leaving, finish every available Midgar side activity, collect the required flower wagon components, and construct all three flower wagon types for Midgar Full of Flowers. Complete Fan Club Aficionado and Fan Club Savior, secure any remaining missable mail senders, and unlock every mission chain tied to Midgar NPCs. Once you leave for Nibelheim, you won't be able to return to finish these activities during the same playthrough.
Before advancing, review your mission unlocks and unfinished trophies carefully. Completing all 300 missions is required for the Platinum, and missing even one NPC-triggered mission can ruin an otherwise perfect run. You don't need to finish every mission before leaving Midgar, but you must unlock the missable ones while their NPCs are accessible. Shinra may have questionable workplace policies, but apparently nobody thought to implement a convenient return-to-Midgar feature.
Chapters 8 through 10 introduce the final major missables. In Nibelheim, begin the Seven Wonders sidequest and complete its first six mysteries during Chapter 8, including collecting the Phoenix Materia needed for Limit Break Collector and DMW Master. The seventh wonder becomes available in Chapter 9, so pay attention to the associated mail and collectible before leaving the area. Chapter 9 also includes Zack the Sniper, Waterfall Chaser, and the missable Research Dept. QMC+ shop found in a treasure chest in Gongaga.
During Chapter 10, explore the underground areas of Banora and complete Cage Opener before finishing the story. You'll eventually reach the final encounters, but don't rush into the ending without preparing your character and checking your remaining trophies. Keep a separate manual save near the final boss so you can return to unfinished missions, collectibles, and optional challenges without restarting the story. You've survived monsters, experimental superweapons, and Shinra management. Losing hours of progress to an overlooked save would be a particularly disappointing final boss.
For SOLDIER of Legend, the game must be completed on Hard difficulty. Fortunately, you don't need to play the entire story on Hard. You can play on Normal, change the difficulty to Hard before the final boss, and defeat the final encounter to satisfy the requirement. Consider finishing your toughest optional missions and strengthening Zack's equipment beforehand, since the final battle becomes considerably more demanding on Hard.
The biggest Platinum challenges are completing all 300 missions, collecting every DMW image, achieving 100% DMW progress, unlocking every shop, obtaining mail from every required sender, and collecting the four Genji accessories. Most of this work can be completed near the end of Chapter 10 before the final boss, provided you've secured the missable prerequisites earlier. Mission rewards unlock valuable equipment and powerful materia, while materia fusion allows you to create devastating attacks and significantly improve Zack's stats. Don't overlook the optional Minerva battle in Mission 9-6-6, one of the toughest encounters in the game and required for Divine Rule Broken.
For difficult endgame encounters, focus on improving your HP, damage output, and defensive stats. Accessories that break the normal HP and damage limits are especially useful, while abilities such as Costly Punch can make powerful enemies much more manageable. The DMW trophies may require additional grinding to unlock every character memory, so consider working on them while farming missions and strengthening materia. Sometimes the greatest enemy in CRISIS CORE isn't a terrifying superboss. It's waiting for three little reels to finally cooperate.
The Platinum can be earned in one carefully planned playthrough, but there is no chapter select, and New Game+ does not preserve your completed mission progress. Always finish missable activities before advancing the story, maintain backup saves, and save your most demanding mission cleanup for when Zack is properly equipped. Once you've completed every mission, defeated Minerva, mastered the DMW, collected the remaining equipment, and finished the game on Hard, My Living Legacy will be yours. Embrace your dreams, protect your SOLDIER honor, and maybe take a well-earned break from squats.
