Missable

Trophy: Honorary Scout

Gather intel 10 times by talking to Wiki-Bean-ia scouts. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Gather information from 10 Wiki-Bean-ia scouts throughout Hope County. Wiki-Bean-ia scouts are friendly survivors who provide information about useful locations, including Treasure Hunts, Highwaymen outposts, side missions, and other activities. You'll encounter them while exploring the wilderness, traveling along roads, and visiting liberated outposts. Scouts who have information to share usually display a blue information marker above their heads. To unlock the trophy: Explore Hope County and look for friendly scouts. Approach a scout displaying a blue information marker. Interact with the scout to begin a conversation. Listen as they reveal the location of an activity or point of interest. Repeat until you've successfully gathered information 10 times. The trophy unlocks after your tenth qualifying conversation. You don't need to complete the activities revealed by the scouts. Gathering the information is enough.

Tip

Make this one of your earliest Platinum objectives. Speak with scouts whenever you encounter them, especially at liberated outposts where friendly survivors frequently gather. Some civilians without obvious information markers can also reveal locations, so it's worth speaking with friendly characters who offer conversations. You can recruit Bean through his Losing Streak mission to establish the Wiki-Bean-ia intelligence network at Prosperity.

Warning

Honorary Scout is potentially missable. Scouts can stop providing new information after you've discovered every available location or purchased all the relevant Cartography maps. Avoid purchasing every location map from Prosperity's Cartography facility until you've unlocked this trophy. If you completely exhaust the available information before reaching 10 conversations, you may need to start a new campaign. This trophy is also host-only, so earn it in your own campaign. For once, the most dangerous Platinum requirement isn't a heavily armored boss or an impossible combat challenge. It's remembering to talk to people before buying a map.

Trophy: Have Buddy, Will Travel

Complete 3 Expeditions with a co-op partner.

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

Unlock Details

Complete three Expeditions with an online co-op partner. This is Far Cry New Dawn's only trophy that requires another player. Expeditions are missions that take you outside Hope County to recover valuable supplies from Highwaymen strongholds. Each Expedition involves locating a supply package, reaching an extraction point, and surviving until your helicopter arrives. For this trophy, you must complete three Expeditions while playing cooperatively with another person. The Expeditions don't need to be different, and there's no minimum difficulty requirement. Step 1: Find a Co-op Partner You'll need another player who owns Far Cry New Dawn and can join your session. Far Cry New Dawn doesn't offer automatic matchmaking, so you'll need to invite someone directly. You can arrange a session with a friend or find another trophy hunter through a gaming community. Both players need access to the game's online multiplayer features. Step 2: Invite Your Partner Launch Far Cry New Dawn and load your campaign. Open the pause menu using the touchpad. Navigate to the Online section. Select your friend and send a co-op invitation. Once they've joined your session, you'll be able to begin completing activities together. Step 3: Start an Expedition Open your Journal and navigate to the Expeditions section. Select any available Expedition. HMS MacCoubrey is a good choice because its layout is relatively straightforward. Choose Rank I if you want to complete the trophy with minimal difficulty. Both players should remain connected throughout the mission. Step 4: Retrieve the Supplies Travel to the Expedition location together. Search for the supply package, which is usually located near pink smoke. Eliminate or avoid Highwaymen soldiers until you've found the objective. Collect the package and begin moving toward the extraction location. Once the package's GPS tracker activates, enemies will converge on your position. Work together to survive the reinforcements. Step 5: Complete the Extraction Reach the designated extraction point and defend yourselves until the helicopter arrives. When extraction becomes available, both players should board the helicopter. Successfully complete the Expedition to register one cooperative completion. Repeat until you've completed three Expeditions with a partner. The trophy unlocks after the third successful co-op Expedition. Recommended Method: Repeat HMS MacCoubrey For the easiest approach: Invite your co-op partner. Select HMS MacCoubrey on Rank I. Retrieve the supply package. Reach extraction and escape together. Replay the Expedition two more times. You can complete the same Expedition three times, so there's no need to unlock additional locations specifically for this trophy.

Tip

You can combine Have Buddy, Will Travel with Hit the Road by completing three of your required Rank III Expeditions with a partner. However, Rank I is recommended if your only goal is unlocking the co-op trophy quickly. If your partner also needs the trophy, both players can earn it during the same three completed Expeditions. The partner doesn't need to be the same person for all three completions.

Warning

An online co-op partner is mandatory. Completing three Expeditions solo won't unlock this trophy. AI Guns for Hire don't count as cooperative partners. Your partner must be present during the qualifying Expedition completions. Campaign progress and many story trophies are host-only, but Have Buddy, Will Travel can be earned by both players. If either player disconnects before extraction, replay the Expedition together to ensure the completion registers. Apparently, the Captain has spent most of the game single-handedly rebuilding civilization, but the Platinum insists that three supply runs require adult supervision. At least you can share the blame when the helicopter arrives under heavy gunfire.

Collectible

Trophy: Audiophile

Rediscover some sweet tunes for the new world. Find all hidden MP3 players. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Find all 10 hidden MP3 players scattered throughout Hope County. MP3 players are one of Far Cry New Dawn's two main collectible types, alongside Dear Photographs. These devices contain music from before the nuclear apocalypse and are hidden inside abandoned buildings, caves, bunkers, and other locations. Unlike Dear Photographs, you don't need to activate a separate mission before beginning your collection. Picking up your first MP3 player automatically starts the Audiophile side mission. You'll need to find the following 10 MP3 players: 1. Bradbury Woods Travel to Bradbury Woods and search the abandoned structures in the area. Look for the collectible inside the location and interact with it to recover the MP3 player. 2. Big Mike's Home Visit Big Mike's Home and explore the surrounding property. Search the accessible buildings for the hidden player. 3. Fillmore's Hovel Travel to Fillmore's Hovel. Investigate the abandoned shelter and nearby structures until you locate the MP3 player. 4. Lake North of The Chop Shop Travel to the lake north of the Chop Shop outpost. Look for a building near the water and search its interior for the collectible. 5. Frobishner's Memory Cave Visit Frobishner's Memory Cave and explore the underground passages. Use your flashlight and follow the accessible tunnels to locate the MP3 player. 6. Sergey's Place Travel to Sergey's Place and search the surrounding buildings. The collectible is hidden somewhere within the location. 7. Sein's Sanctuary Visit Sein's Sanctuary and explore the area for the hidden player. Check accessible structures and enclosed spaces. 8. Rotgut Pass Travel to Rotgut Pass. Search the surrounding area and investigate any accessible caves or structures. 9. The Forgotten Barracks Visit the Forgotten Barracks and explore the abandoned military buildings. Look for the collectible inside the accessible sections of the facility. 10. Tombwater Travel to Tombwater and search the location for the final MP3 player. Once you've collected all 10, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Upgrade Prosperity's Cartography facility to Level 2 to gain access to collectible maps. You can then purchase the map revealing all 10 MP3 player locations, making cleanup considerably easier. However, complete Honorary Scout before purchasing every Cartography map, since exhausting the available location information can prevent scouts from offering additional intelligence. Purchase the Grappling Hook perk before beginning your collection because some MP3 players are hidden in areas that require climbing or accessing underground passages.

Warning

You must physically collect all 10 MP3 players. Simply discovering their locations or entering the associated buildings won't count. Some collectibles are hidden underground, so check for bunker entrances if you're standing directly above a marker without seeing the item. All 10 players remain available after completing the story. Audiophile is a host-only trophy, so collect them in your own campaign. Apparently, seventeen years after the apocalypse, someone has hidden the world's remaining music collection in caves and abandoned buildings. Spotify's offline mode has officially gone too far.

Trophy: Before

Find all the Dear Photograph locations and see Hope County as it used to be. Host only.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Find all nine Dear Photograph locations and recreate the original photographs to see what Hope County looked like before the nuclear apocalypse. Dear Photographs are collectibles associated with the side mission A Thousand Words. Each photograph shows a location from the original Hope County, allowing you to compare the landscape before and after the nuclear destruction. To begin the mission, travel to Prosperity and enter the main building. Look for Tracey's Shoebox and interact with it to collect the old photographs. Once you've obtained the photographs, you'll be able to visit their corresponding locations throughout Hope County. At each location, position yourself at the designated viewpoint and line up the original photograph with the present-day landscape. Successfully recreate all nine photographs to unlock the trophy. You'll need to visit the following locations: 1. West of Prosperity Travel to the area immediately west of Prosperity. Find the designated viewpoint and align the original photograph with the surrounding landscape. 2. Rye & Daughter Aviation Visit the former aviation facility associated with Nick Rye and his family. Locate the photograph viewpoint and recreate the original image. 3. The Chop Shop Travel to the Chop Shop outpost. Search the surrounding area for the photograph location and align the image. 4. The Refinery Visit the Refinery outpost. Locate the designated viewpoint and match the old photograph with the present-day environment. 5. Sergey's Place Travel to Sergey's Place and find the photograph viewpoint. Recreate the image to register the location. 6. The Pantry Visit the Pantry outpost. Find the nearby viewpoint and align the photograph correctly. 7. Chateau Boshaw Travel to Chateau Boshaw. Search for the photograph location and recreate the original scene. 8. The Church at the Old Compound Visit the remains of the church at the Old Compound. Locate the viewpoint and compare the old photograph with the present-day surroundings. 9. Joseph's Sanctuary Travel to the area near Joseph's Sanctuary in the northern part of Hope County. This photograph becomes accessible after progressing through the Act 2 story mission Into the Bliss. Find the viewpoint and recreate the final photograph. The trophy unlocks after successfully completing all nine comparisons.

Tip

You can purchase maps from Prosperity's Cartography facility to reveal Dear Photograph locations once you've unlocked the appropriate upgrades. However, complete Honorary Scout first so that purchasing location maps doesn't interfere with your ability to gather information from scouts. Work on Dear Photographs while completing nearby missions and liberating outposts to reduce unnecessary travel.

Warning

Simply visiting the nine locations doesn't count. You must successfully line up and recreate each photograph. The photograph near Joseph's Sanctuary isn't accessible until you've progressed far enough into Act 2. Before is also a host-only trophy, so complete the collectible mission in your own campaign. Apparently, Hope County's residents have discovered the ultimate post-apocalyptic photography trend: before-and-after pictures where the before version contains significantly fewer explosions.

Trophy: Master Skinner

Collect at least one skin from every type of animal in Hope County. Not creepy at all.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect at least one skin from each of the 25 required animal species in Far Cry New Dawn. Hope County contains a wide variety of wildlife, ranging from common deer and rabbits to dangerous predators and powerful Monstrous Animals. For this trophy, you must hunt and skin every required animal type at least once. You don't need to collect skins from every animal rank. A single skin from any available rank will satisfy that species' requirement. You'll need the following 25 animals: 1. Deer Common throughout wooded areas and open wilderness. 2. Pronghorn Frequently found in open grasslands and fields. 3. Skunk Can occasionally be found around Hope County, but is often easier to locate during the Alcatraz Island Expedition, where one may appear inside a prison cell. 4. Rattlesnake Search rocky terrain, caves, and areas with dense vegetation. 5. Hare Often found in open fields and grassy areas. Hares can also appear near the beginning of the ISS Crash Site Expedition. 6. Wild Dog Commonly found roaming the wilderness in small groups. 7. Cattle Look around farms and agricultural areas. 8. Elk Found in forested areas and open wilderness. 9. Caribou Search wooded and mountainous regions. 10. Boar Found throughout rural areas and forests. 11. Wolverine Search wooded areas and rocky terrain. 12. Wolf Frequently found in forests and remote wilderness areas. 13. Crocodile Crocodiles can be found in the water during the Five Stars Theme Park and Government Plane Wreck Expeditions. 14. Shark Travel to the HMS MacCoubrey Expedition. Sharks can be found in the ocean surrounding the abandoned aircraft carrier. 15. Demon Fish Search rivers and lakes throughout Hope County. 16. Bull Look around farmland and open fields. 17. Bison Found in open wilderness and grassland areas. 18. Moose Search forested areas and regions near water. 19. Black Bear Found in forests and remote wilderness areas. 20. Grizzly Bear Search mountainous and wooded regions. 21. Cougar Found in rocky wilderness areas and forests. 22. Monstrous Bison A powerful mutated version of the regular bison. Look for its designated Monstrous Animal hunting location. 23. Monstrous Boar A heavily mutated boar with powerful charging attacks. Search its marked hunting territory. 24. Monstrous Bear A massive mutated predator with substantial health. Bring a powerful weapon before attempting the hunt. 25. Monstrous Cougar A fast, aggressive mutated predator that can inflict considerable damage. Keep your distance while fighting it. Once you've collected a skin from all 25 required species, the trophy will unlock. Recommended Method First, recruit Timber by completing Man Eat Dog World. Timber can identify nearby wildlife, making him extremely useful for locating animals. Next, upgrade Prosperity's Cartography facility and purchase the available animal location maps. Travel between marked hunting grounds and collect one skin from every species. If an animal doesn't appear immediately, explore the surrounding area or fast travel away and return. For sharks, crocodiles, skunks, and hares, consider using the Expeditions listed above.

Tip

Work toward this trophy throughout the campaign rather than saving every hunt until the end. You'll naturally encounter many animals while exploring Hope County. Collect skins even when you don't need crafting materials because each new species brings you closer to completing the trophy. Killing one of the four Monstrous Animals also contributes toward Kill or Be Killed.

Warning

You must collect the skin, not merely kill the animal. Explosives and flamethrowers can destroy usable animal skins, so avoid those weapons while hunting. Use conventional firearms or bows instead. Ducks and eagles aren't required for Master Skinner, even though they have associated challenges. All 25 required species can be obtained without starting another campaign. Apparently, the Captain has decided that rebuilding civilization requires collecting samples from the entire local ecosystem. Somewhere, a very nervous skunk is reconsidering its life choices.

Trophy: You're a Catch

Successfully catch one of every type of fish in Hope County. Get those omega-3s.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Catch one fish from each of the six species found throughout Hope County. Fishing returns in Far Cry New Dawn and provides a relaxing alternative to battling the Highwaymen. You'll need to catch six different fish species, but you don't need to catch every possible rank of each species. A single successful catch of each type is enough. Step 1: Unlock the Fishing Rod Open the Perks menu and purchase the Fishing Rod perk for two perk points. This adds the fishing rod to your weapon wheel. Once equipped, you can fish in suitable rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water. Step 2: Catch All Six Fish Species You'll need the following fish: 1. Rainbow Trout Found in freshwater fishing locations throughout Hope County. Look for marked Rainbow Trout fishing spots along rivers and lakes. 2. Bull Trout Found in freshwater areas. Travel to a Bull Trout fishing location and catch at least one. 3. Smallmouth Bass Found in lakes and rivers. Look for Smallmouth Bass fishing spots marked on the map. 4. Largemouth Bass Commonly found in freshwater fishing areas. Catch one Largemouth Bass to register the species. 5. Chinook Salmon Found in suitable river fishing locations. Look for marked Chinook Salmon spots to locate the species more easily. 6. Paddlefish Sturgeon Found in freshwater fishing areas. Travel to a Paddlefish Sturgeon location and successfully reel one in. Step 3: Reel In Your Fish Once you've reached a fishing location: 1. Equip your fishing rod from the weapon wheel. 2. Hold R2 to prepare your cast. 3. Release R2 to cast your line into the water. 4. Gently hold L2 to reel in your lure and attract nearby fish. 5. When a fish bites, hook it and begin reeling. 6. Move the right stick opposite the direction the fish is pulling to manage the tension. 7. Continue reeling until you've successfully caught the fish. Repeat for all six species. The trophy unlocks after catching the final required fish.

Tip

Upgrade Prosperity's Cartography facility to unlock maps revealing fishing locations. These maps are particularly useful when you're missing one or two species. You only need Rank I fish, so there's no reason to deliberately pursue the more difficult higher-rank catches. Fishing challenges also provide perk points, which help you progress toward Perk-olate.

Warning

You must catch all six different species. Catching six Rainbow Trout won't satisfy the requirement, regardless of how impressive your trout collection becomes. Fish killed using firearms or explosives don't count. Use your fishing rod. You don't need special bait, multiple rods, or additional fishing equipment. All six fish species remain available after completing the main story. Apparently, the Captain has been tasked with defeating an entire criminal organization, but the Platinum also requires a peaceful fishing trip. Work-life balance is important, even after the apocalypse.

Grind

Trophy: All Your Bases

Liberate all Outposts at least once on Rank III.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Liberate all 10 Highwaymen outposts on Rank III difficulty. Outposts are enemy-controlled locations scattered throughout Hope County. Each one can be liberated, scavenged, and recaptured at increasingly difficult ranks. Unlike previous Far Cry games, liberating an outpost isn't necessarily the end of the activity. You can voluntarily surrender it back to the Highwaymen in exchange for additional Ethanol, allowing them to rebuild their defenses. For this trophy, you'll need to capture every outpost at its highest rank. Step 1: Liberate an Outpost at Rank I Travel to any Highwaymen outpost marked on your map. Eliminate all the soldiers guarding the location to liberate it. You'll receive Ethanol and crafting materials as rewards. Disabling alarms before enemies activate them provides additional Ethanol. Step 2: Scavenge the Outpost After liberating the outpost, interact with the scavenging workbench inside the location. Alternatively, open your map, highlight the liberated outpost, and press Triangle. Confirm that you want to scavenge it. You'll receive additional Ethanol, but the Highwaymen will reclaim the location. The outpost will now be available at Rank II. Step 3: Liberate the Rank II Outpost Return to the location and defeat its upgraded defenses. Rank II outposts contain tougher soldiers, stronger weapons, and additional security. After liberating it, scavenge the outpost again. This unlocks the Rank III version. Step 4: Liberate the Rank III Outpost Return for the final takeover. Rank III outposts contain the strongest Highwaymen soldiers, including Elite Enforcers. These enemies have substantial health, reinforced armor, and powerful weapons. There are also more alarms and opportunities for enemies to summon reinforcements. Eliminate every enemy to complete the Rank III liberation. Step 5: Repeat at All 10 Outposts Continue capturing, scavenging, and recapturing outposts until you've successfully liberated all 10 locations on Rank III. The trophy unlocks after completing your tenth unique Rank III outpost liberation. Recommended Preparation Before attempting the higher-ranked outposts, fully upgrade Prosperity's Workbench to unlock Elite weapons. A powerful light machine gun, such as the Blunderbuss MG-42, is particularly effective against Elite Enforcers. The Lucky Shot Compound Bow is also useful when approaching outposts quietly. Consider bringing Hurk or Gina for open combat, as their powerful weapons can help eliminate heavily armored enemies.

Tip

Work toward this trophy alongside Pure Ninja, which requires liberating a single Rank III outpost without being detected. Signal Point and The Island are good candidates for the stealth requirement. Rank III outposts also provide substantial Ethanol rewards, making them useful for fully upgrading Prosperity for My Little Fortress. Destroy or disable all three alarms before beginning a large firefight to prevent reinforcements from overwhelming you.

Warning

You must liberate all 10 different outposts at Rank III. Repeatedly capturing the same Rank III outpost won't satisfy the requirement. Each location must progress through Rank I and Rank II before its Rank III version becomes available. This trophy is host-only, so complete the required liberations in your own campaign. Apparently, the Highwaymen are perfectly happy to rebuild the same outpost every time the Captain destroys it. At this point, they're basically funding Hope County's construction industry.

Trophy: Closed for Applications

Recruit all Guns For Hire. Host only.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Recruit all eight Guns for Hire and Fangs for Hire throughout Hope County. Guns for Hire are companions who assist you during combat, exploration, and other activities. Some specialize in stealth, while others prefer explosives, heavy weapons, or simply charging headfirst into enemies. There are eight companions in total. Two are unlocked through story progression, while the remaining six require completing recruitment missions. You'll need to recruit the following companions: 1. Carmina Rye Carmina joins automatically after completing the prologue and reaching Prosperity. She uses an assault rifle and can eventually unlock dynamite-based combat abilities. No additional recruitment mission is required. 2. The Judge The Judge becomes available after completing the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. This mysterious companion specializes in stealth and uses a bow to eliminate enemies quietly. Progress through the story until the Judge becomes available in your Guns for Hire roster. 3. Pastor Jerome Complete the side mission Jerome Comes Home. Travel to Jerome's marked location, follow the mission objectives, and help him escape the Highwaymen. Once recruited, Jerome becomes a shotgun-wielding companion who can also use fire-based attacks. 4. Gina Guerra Complete the side mission Mo Mommies Mo Problems. This mission becomes available after speaking with Sharky at Prosperity during Act 2. Follow Gina's storyline and complete the required objectives to recruit her. Gina uses a light machine gun and is particularly effective during intense firefights. 5. Nana Complete the side mission Crow's Feet, Eagle Eyes. Nana is a skilled sniper who will test your shooting abilities before agreeing to join you. Complete her shooting challenges to recruit her. She's especially useful for stealth-based outpost liberations. 6. Hurk Complete the side mission Days of Blunder. Find Hurk at his marked location and help him complete his latest questionable plan. Once recruited, Hurk becomes a powerful companion who uses a rocket launcher. He's particularly useful against heavily armored enemies and vehicles. 7. Timber Complete the side mission Man Eat Dog World. Travel to the Highwaymen's dog shelter, free the captured animals, and rescue Timber. After completing the mission, Timber joins your roster. His abilities help identify enemies, animals, and nearby resources. 8. Horatio Complete the side mission To Love a Boar. Find Horatio at the marked farm, eliminate the Highwaymen guarding him, and release him from captivity. Interact with Horatio to complete the recruitment. This aggressive boar specializes in charging enemies and causing chaos during combat. Once all eight companions have been recruited, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Recruit companions as their missions become available rather than saving them all for the end of the campaign. Timber is particularly useful for hunting and exploration, while Nana excels at stealth. Hurk and Gina are excellent choices for difficult Rank III outposts and Expeditions. You can improve a companion's abilities by allowing them to defeat enemies. Their upgrades unlock after reaching 15 and 40 kills. Recruiting Horatio also unlocks Save Your Bacon, while Timber is required for Sidecar Sidekick.

Warning

This trophy is host-only, so complete the recruitment missions in your own campaign. You must recruit all eight companions. Simply discovering their locations or starting their missions won't count. The Judge becomes available through Act 2 story progression, so don't worry if that companion isn't immediately accessible. If the trophy doesn't unlock after recruiting everyone, check your Guns for Hire roster to confirm that all eight companions are available. Avoid assuming the trophy is permanently bugged before checking for an unfinished recruitment mission. Apparently, the Captain's recruitment standards are remarkably flexible. A sniper, a preacher, a rocket-launcher enthusiast, a dog, and an angry boar all qualify for the same military position.

Trophy: Hit the Road

Complete 7 unique Expeditions on the Rank III difficulty.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete all seven unique Expeditions on Rank III difficulty. Expeditions are missions that take you outside Hope County to raid Highwaymen strongholds and recover valuable supplies. Each Expedition has three difficulty ranks. You'll need to complete Rank I before Rank II becomes available, then finish Rank II to unlock Rank III. To earn the trophy, complete all seven unique Expeditions on Rank III. This requires at least 21 successful Expedition completions if you're starting from scratch. Every Expedition follows the same basic structure: 1. Travel to the location by helicopter. 2. Find the Highwaymen's supply package. 3. Retrieve the package and begin escaping. 4. Reach the designated extraction area. 5. Survive until your helicopter arrives. 6. Board the helicopter to complete the mission. The package's tracking signal activates shortly after you collect it, causing enemies to converge on your location. You'll need to complete the following seven Expeditions: 1. HMS MacCoubrey An abandoned aircraft carrier located in Florida. This is one of the easier Expeditions because the ship has several routes that allow you to avoid unnecessary combat. Use scaffolding and elevated pathways to approach the supply package. After collecting it, escape toward the extraction point as quickly as possible. 2. Navajo Bridge A massive bridge spanning the Colorado River in Arizona. This Expedition is relatively manageable because there are fewer enemies before collecting the package. Travel beneath the bridge when possible to avoid patrols. Once you've obtained the supplies, move quickly toward extraction. 3. Five Stars Theme Park An abandoned amusement park in the Louisiana bayous. The open environment provides plenty of room to maneuver, but crocodiles can attack if you enter the surrounding water. Avoid unnecessary swimming and use the terrain to evade Highwaymen reinforcements. 4. Alcatraz Island The infamous prison located in San Francisco. This is generally one of the most difficult Expeditions because of its confined interiors and heavily armed enemies. The supply package can appear behind different locked cell doors. Search the prison carefully, collect the supplies, and immediately begin moving toward an exit. Avoid getting trapped in narrow corridors while reinforcements attack. 5. Government Plane Wreck A crashed government aircraft located in Iowa. Enemies are relatively spread out, allowing you to approach the package without fighting every soldier. However, extraction areas can be exposed, so prepare for attacks from multiple directions. You can also obtain Paladin's Secret during this Expedition by finding Sam Fisher's hidden outfit. 6. ISS Crash Site The wreckage of the International Space Station. The terrain includes narrow canyons and open sections that can make escaping difficult. Watch for enemies carrying rocket launchers and avoid getting trapped near hostile vehicles. 7. Walking Horse Nuclear Plant An abandoned nuclear power facility. Depending on where the supply package appears, you may need to fight through heavily defended areas. Use available cover and move quickly once you've collected the package. After successfully completing all seven Expeditions on Rank III, the trophy will unlock. Recommended Preparation Before attempting Rank III, fully upgrade Prosperity's Workbench and craft Elite weapons. A powerful light machine gun, Elite bow, and reliable secondary weapon will make these missions substantially easier. Upgrade your Infirmary for additional health and your Training Camp for stronger companions. You can also bring a co-op partner, allowing you to work toward Have Buddy, Will Travel at the same time.

Tip

You can replay Expeditions through the Journal menu as often as needed. The package and extraction locations can change between difficulty ranks, so don't assume the route will always be identical. Once you've collected the supplies, prioritize reaching the extraction zone rather than fighting every enemy. Your goal is to escape with the package, not personally eliminate the entire Highwaymen organization.

Warning

You must complete seven different Expeditions on Rank III. Repeating the same Expedition seven times won't unlock the trophy. Rank III refers to the Expedition difficulty, not the overall campaign difficulty setting. You'll need to survive the extraction sequence and escape successfully for each completion to count. Apparently, rebuilding Hope County requires visiting seven different locations across America, stealing supplies, and surviving an armed extraction. The Captain's frequent-flyer benefits must be extraordinary.

Hit the Road PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Pure Ninja

Liberate a Rank III Outpost while staying undetected.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Liberate a Rank III Highwaymen outpost without being detected. This is one of the more demanding stealth trophies in Far Cry New Dawn because Rank III outposts contain powerful enemies, including Elite Enforcers. You'll need to capture an outpost at its highest difficulty without allowing enemies to detect you. Step 1: Unlock a Rank III Outpost First, liberate any Highwaymen outpost at Rank I. Once you've captured it, scavenge the location using the outpost's scavenging workbench or the map menu. This allows the Highwaymen to reclaim the location at Rank II. Liberate it again, then scavenge it a second time. The outpost will now be available at Rank III. Step 2: Choose a Suitable Location Two recommended locations are: Signal Point: A relatively compact outpost with manageable enemy positions. The Island: Another smaller location that can be approached carefully using stealth. Signal Point is particularly useful because its layout allows you to identify enemy patrols and eliminate isolated soldiers. Step 3: Prepare Your Equipment Bring powerful suppressed weapons or an Elite bow. The Lucky Shot Compound Bow is especially useful because it can eliminate many Rank I–III soldiers with a single well-placed shot. However, Elite Enforcers are much tougher and won't necessarily die from a single arrow. Purchase the appropriate takedown perks so you can eliminate higher-ranked enemies quietly. The Ghost perk can also help reduce enemy detection. Step 4: Clear the Outpost Undetected Approach the outpost from a concealed position. Use your binoculars to identify enemies and observe their patrol routes. Prioritize isolated enemies who can be eliminated without attracting attention. Avoid leaving bodies where other soldiers will discover them. Use takedowns whenever possible, especially against heavily armored Enforcers. Work around the perimeter before approaching more heavily guarded sections. Continue eliminating enemies until the outpost has been completely liberated. If no enemy successfully detects you, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Use cover, vegetation, and elevation to remain hidden. Disable alarms if you can reach them safely, although preventing alarms alone isn't enough for the trophy. Avoid bringing aggressive companions who may start open combat before you're ready. If you're struggling, practice the enemy positions on Rank II before attempting the final Rank III takeover.

Warning

You must remain undetected throughout the entire Rank III liberation. Allowing enemies to raise an alarm or initiate a full combat alert will normally invalidate the attempt. A no-alarm completion is not automatically the same as an undetected completion. Elite Enforcers have reinforced helmets and large health pools, so don't assume a single headshot will eliminate them. If you fail, you can attempt the trophy again at another Rank III outpost or scavenge and recapture a suitable location. Apparently, the Captain must quietly eliminate an entire heavily armed military installation without anyone noticing. No pressure. Just another perfectly normal afternoon in Hope County.

Purchase the 5th tier of a stackable perk. You can never have enough.

Type: Bronze

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Purchase the fifth tier of any stackable perk. Far Cry New Dawn features a perk system that allows you to improve the Captain's combat abilities, mobility, ammunition capacity, and survivability. Most perks can only be purchased once. However, certain perks can be purchased repeatedly to increase their benefits. For this trophy, you'll need to upgrade one stackable perk to Tier 5. There are eight stackable perks available: 1. More Lung Capacity Increases how long you can hold your breath while aiming or swimming underwater, as well as improving your sprinting endurance. Each tier costs three perk points. 2. More Fist Damage Increases the damage dealt by your fists and kicks. Each tier costs four perk points. 3. More Heavy Ammo Increases your carrying capacity for heavy ammunition used by weapons such as light machine guns, rocket launchers, and saw launchers. Each tier costs four perk points. 4. More Light Ammo Increases your ammunition capacity for firearms such as assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, and bows. Each tier costs four perk points. 5. More Throwables Increases the number of explosives, throwing knives, and other throwable items you can carry. Each tier costs four perk points. 6. More Melee Weapons Increases your carrying capacity for melee weapons. Each tier costs four perk points. 7. More Medkits Allows you to carry additional healing supplies. Each tier costs four perk points. 8. Eden's Gift Improves the regeneration rate of your Eden's Gift ability meter. This perk becomes available after completing the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. Each tier costs eight perk points. Recommended Method: More Lung Capacity The cheapest way to unlock Stack 'em Up is by upgrading More Lung Capacity to Tier 5. Because each upgrade costs three perk points, you'll need a total of 15 perk points. To complete the trophy: Open the pause menu and navigate to the Perks section. Locate More Lung Capacity. Purchase its first tier for three perk points. Continue purchasing additional tiers. Upgrade the perk until it reaches Tier 5. The trophy unlocks immediately after purchasing the fifth tier. How to Earn Perk Points You can earn perk points by completing various activities throughout Hope County. Good sources include: Treasure Hunts: Each completed Treasure Hunt rewards three perk points. Challenges: Complete weapon, combat, hunting, and exploration challenges. Expeditions: Earn rewards and progression through successful Expedition missions. Hostage Rescues: Rescue captured civilians during encounters throughout Hope County. For the cheapest approach, completing five Treasure Hunts provides the 15 perk points required to purchase all five tiers of More Lung Capacity. Alternatively, combine different challenges and activities until you've accumulated enough points.

Tip

More Lung Capacity is the most efficient choice because it costs fewer points than the other stackable perks. Work toward this trophy alongside Perk-olate, which requires purchasing the first level of every perk. Don't spend all your perk points on repeated upgrades early in the game. Prioritize important abilities such as Grappling Hook, Lock Picking, and higher-rank takedowns before investing heavily in stackable perks.

Warning

You must purchase five tiers of the same stackable perk. Purchasing the first tier of five different stackable perks won't unlock the trophy. Eden's Gift is considerably more expensive than the other options, so avoid using it solely for this trophy unless you've already invested several points in it. The trophy unlocks when the fifth tier is purchased, not when you've accumulated a certain number of unused perk points. Apparently, the Captain's greatest superpower isn't surviving explosions or defeating mutant wildlife. It's spending 15 perk points to become exceptionally good at breathing.

Combat

Trophy: Anger Management

Eliminate 10 enemies within a single activation of Wrath.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Eliminate 10 enemies during a single activation of Wrath. Wrath is a powerful Eden's Gift ability that increases the Captain's melee damage and resistance to incoming attacks. However, it only remains active for a limited time, making this one of the more challenging combat trophies in Far Cry New Dawn. You must kill 10 enemies before Wrath deactivates. Kills across multiple activations don't count. Step 1: Unlock Wrath Progress through the main campaign until you complete the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. This mission unlocks several Eden's Gift abilities, including Wrath. Open the Perks menu and purchase: Wrath: Costs 8 perk points and provides enhanced melee damage and damage resistance. Eden's Touch: Costs 8 perk points and restores a portion of your Eden's Gift meter when performing takedowns. Eden's Touch is strongly recommended because it allows you to extend the effective duration of Wrath while eliminating enemies. Step 2: Choose a Location With Plenty of Enemies You'll need a location where at least 10 enemies can be encountered in quick succession. Two useful options are: Signal Point Outpost Signal Point is a compact outpost where enemies can gather relatively close together. Allow soldiers to activate an alarm so reinforcements arrive before attempting the trophy. Alcatraz Island Expedition Alcatraz contains numerous Highwaymen in a relatively confined environment. Its prison corridors can help keep enemies close enough for consecutive melee kills. However, the higher enemy density can make surviving more difficult. Step 3: Prepare the Enemies Before activating Wrath, alert the Highwaymen and allow reinforcements to arrive. Avoid killing too many soldiers while waiting. You need at least 10 enemies available when your attempt begins. Try to gather enemies in an area where you can move between them quickly without spending too much time searching for additional targets. Step 4: Activate Wrath When enough enemies are nearby, hold R3 to activate Wrath. Your Eden's Gift meter will begin draining as the ability remains active. Immediately begin attacking nearby enemies. Use powerful melee strikes and takedowns to eliminate soldiers as quickly as possible. With Eden's Touch equipped, successful takedowns restore part of your ability meter, helping you maintain Wrath for longer. Step 5: Kill 10 Enemies Before Wrath Ends Continue eliminating enemies without allowing the ability to deactivate. Chain takedowns and other melee finishing moves are particularly useful when enemies are standing close together. The trophy unlocks after your tenth qualifying kill during the same activation of Wrath.

Tip

Eden's Touch is the key to making this trophy manageable. Without it, Wrath's limited duration makes eliminating 10 enemies considerably harder. Try using a Rank I or Rank II outpost so enemies can be killed quickly. Allow reinforcements to arrive before activating Wrath, but avoid becoming surrounded by heavily armored Enforcers. Takedowns are especially valuable because they help replenish your Eden's Gift meter.

Warning

All 10 kills must happen during one continuous Wrath activation. Activating Wrath multiple times and accumulating 10 kills won't satisfy the requirement. Switching to a conventional firearm can cancel Wrath, so focus on melee attacks and takedowns. If the ability ends before you've reached 10 kills, you'll need to start another attempt. Enemies killed after Wrath deactivates won't count, even if you damaged them while the ability was active. Apparently, the Captain has discovered that anger really is a renewable energy source. Unfortunately, the only way to recharge it involves repeatedly introducing Highwaymen to a very unpleasant melee attack.

Trophy: Archery Expert

Kill an enemy more than 100m away with a basic arrow.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill an enemy from more than 100 meters away using a basic arrow. Archery Expert requires a long-distance bow kill, making it one of the more precise combat challenges in Far Cry New Dawn. You must eliminate a Highwayman using a regular arrow from a distance greater than 100 meters. You don't need to land a headshot, but the enemy must die from the arrow. Step 1: Obtain a Powerful Bow Although any bow can work, the Lucky Shot Compound Bow is recommended. This Elite weapon has excellent damage and useful aiming equipment, making long-distance shots considerably easier. To craft it, you'll need to upgrade Prosperity's Workbench to Level 3. Once Elite weapons are available, collect the necessary crafting materials and construct the Lucky Shot Compound Bow. You can also use the Blood Dragon Recurve Bow or another bow if you prefer. Step 2: Find a Suitable Target The easiest approach is to use a Highwaymen outpost. Outposts contain enemies who frequently stand still while guarding entrances, towers, and other defensive positions. A stationary target is much easier to hit at long range. Choose an outpost with a clear view of the soldiers from a distant hillside or another elevated position. You can use any outpost, but a Rank I location is recommended because the enemies have less health. Step 3: Measure the Distance Equip your binoculars and identify a Highwayman standing in the open. While looking through the binoculars, press R3 to place a marker near the enemy. The marker displays the distance between you and the selected location. Move backward until the distance reads more than 100 meters. For safety, aim for approximately 110–120 meters so you're comfortably beyond the trophy's minimum requirement. Avoid locations where trees, buildings, or other obstacles might block your arrow. Step 4: Equip Basic Arrows Open your weapon wheel and select your bow. Make sure you're using basic arrows rather than explosive, incendiary, or another special ammunition type. The trophy specifically requires a regular arrow. Step 5: Land the Killing Shot Aim toward the enemy using your bow's sights. Remember that arrows travel in an arc, so you'll need to compensate for the distance by aiming slightly above your target. Hold L3 to steady your aim if necessary. Release the arrow and watch its trajectory. If the arrow kills the enemy from more than 100 meters away, the trophy will unlock. If the enemy survives, adjust your aim or target a weaker Highwayman. Recommended Method: Rank I Outpost Scavenge or approach an available Rank I outpost. Locate a stationary enemy using your binoculars. Place a marker near the target to measure the distance. Move to approximately 110–120 meters away. Equip the Lucky Shot Compound Bow with basic arrows. Aim slightly above the enemy to compensate for arrow drop. Fire and secure the kill.

Tip

Use an Elite bow because its increased damage improves your chances of killing the enemy with a single arrow. A stationary Rank I soldier is the ideal target. If you're struggling to judge the distance, place a waypoint using your binoculars and reposition until you're comfortably beyond 100 meters. You can also work toward this trophy while clearing outposts for All Your Bases, although lower-rank enemies are easier targets.

Warning

The killing shot must be fired from more than 100 meters away. A kill at exactly 100 meters may not satisfy the requirement, so leave a little extra distance. Only basic arrows count. Special arrows that cause explosions or fire damage won't unlock the trophy. You don't need a headshot, but the arrow itself must kill the enemy. Avoid using a severely underpowered bow against heavily armored soldiers because they may survive the shot. Apparently, the Captain has decided that ordinary gunfights are too convenient. Why use a perfectly good rifle when you can launch a wooden stick across an entire football field?

Trophy: Buzzkill

Kill 10 brawlers with any saw launcher. They never saw it coming.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill 10 Highwaymen Brawlers using any Saw Launcher. Brawlers are Highwaymen soldiers who carry shields and specialize in close-range combat. Some use smaller shields, while higher-ranked Brawlers carry larger, reinforced shields that provide stronger protection against gunfire. For this trophy, you'll need to eliminate 10 Brawlers using Saw Launchers. Saw Launchers are signature weapons in Far Cry New Dawn that fire spinning saw blades capable of dealing significant damage. They're particularly effective against groups of enemies because the blades can ricochet off surfaces and strike multiple targets. Step 1: Obtain a Saw Launcher Travel to a Workbench at Prosperity or a liberated outpost. Open the weapon crafting menu and look for the Saw Launcher weapon category. Craft any available Saw Launcher. Higher-ranked versions deal more damage, but you can use any Saw Launcher for this trophy. If you've upgraded Prosperity's Workbench, consider crafting an Elite Saw Launcher to make eliminating stronger Brawlers easier. Step 2: Find Highwaymen Brawlers Brawlers appear throughout Hope County, particularly at outposts and enemy-controlled locations. You'll recognize them by the shields they carry. Both lightly armored and heavily armored shield-bearing Brawlers can contribute toward the trophy. Recommended Location: The Island Outpost The Island outpost is located in the northern part of Hope County, near New Eden. This location is particularly useful because it regularly contains several shield-carrying enemies. To farm Brawler kills: Travel to The Island outpost. Identify the Highwaymen carrying shields. Equip your Saw Launcher. Eliminate the shield-bearing enemies using saw blades. Clear the remaining enemies and successfully liberate the outpost. Scavenge the location to allow the Highwaymen to reclaim it. Return and repeat until you've killed 10 Brawlers. You can also earn Brawler kills naturally while completing other outposts and story missions. Step 3: Reach 10 Saw Launcher Kills Continue eliminating Brawlers with your Saw Launcher until you've reached 10 qualifying kills. The kills don't need to happen during one life, one mission, or with the same Saw Launcher. The trophy unlocks after your tenth successful Brawler kill.

Tip

An Elite Saw Launcher is recommended because its increased damage makes it easier to eliminate heavily armored Brawlers. You can work toward Buzzkill alongside All Your Bases, which requires liberating all 10 Highwaymen outposts at Rank III. If you're also working on Good Job, Cap, you can use shield-carrying enemies to obtain throwable shields before eliminating additional Brawlers with your Saw Launcher.

Warning

Only shield-carrying Brawlers killed with Saw Launchers count. Ordinary Highwaymen soldiers won't contribute, even if you eliminate them with saw blades. The Saw Launcher must deliver the killing blow. Weakening an enemy with a Saw Launcher and finishing them with another weapon won't count. If you're farming kills at an outpost, complete the liberation before scavenging it. Kills earned immediately before dying or restarting a checkpoint may not be saved. Apparently, the Highwaymen thought bringing shields to a gunfight was a brilliant defensive strategy. Unfortunately, nobody accounted for the Captain arriving with a weapon that fires circular saw blades.

Trophy: Get to the Point

Finish off an Enforcer with a bayonet.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill an Elite Enforcer by delivering the finishing blow with a bayonet-equipped weapon. Enforcers are the Highwaymen's most heavily armored soldiers. They're identified by their gold-colored health bars, reinforced helmets, and powerful weapons. For this trophy, you must kill an Enforcer using a bayonet attack as the finishing blow. Simply shooting an Enforcer with a weapon that has a bayonet attached won't count. The final attack must be performed with the bayonet itself. Step 1: Obtain a Bayonet-Equipped Weapon Visit a Workbench at Prosperity or a liberated Highwaymen outpost. Look for a weapon that features a bayonet attached to the barrel. Some weapons use conventional blades, while others feature improvised attachments made from salvaged materials. Craft an available weapon with a bayonet and equip it through your weapon wheel. Step 2: Locate an Enforcer Enforcers appear during later story missions, higher-rank Expeditions, and difficult outpost encounters. The easiest way to find one is by attacking a Rank III outpost. Every Rank III outpost contains Elite Enforcers, making these locations reliable for this trophy. You can also encounter Enforcers as reinforcements when enemies activate alarms at Rank II outposts. Step 3: Weaken the Enforcer Once you've located an Enforcer, eliminate nearby soldiers if necessary so you can focus on your target. Use your firearms to damage the Enforcer until their health is almost depleted. Be careful not to kill them accidentally. You want the Enforcer to have little enough health remaining that a single bayonet strike can finish them. Step 4: Deliver the Bayonet Finisher Equip your bayonet-equipped weapon and approach the weakened Enforcer from the front. Press R3 to perform a close-range attack. If the bayonet attack delivers the killing blow, the trophy will unlock. Approaching from the front is important because attacking from behind can trigger a standard takedown instead of the required bayonet animation. Recommended Method: Before Joseph's Secret If possible, complete this trophy before finishing the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. After completing that mission, the Captain gains access to Eden's Gift abilities that can alter close-range combat interactions. These changes may make it more difficult to trigger the conventional bayonet finishing animation. You can still attempt the trophy afterward, but completing it earlier may save you some frustration.

Tip

Rank II outposts can be useful because allowing enemies to trigger an alarm may summon an Enforcer. This lets you attempt the trophy without immediately dealing with all the tougher enemies present at Rank III outposts. Bring a reliable firearm so you can carefully reduce the Enforcer's health before moving in for the finishing attack. If you're also working toward It's Super Effective!, use piercing ammunition to land a headshot before weakening the Enforcer for your bayonet finisher.

Warning

The bayonet must deliver the killing blow. Ordinary melee takedowns, bullets, explosives, and attacks from behind won't satisfy the requirement. Make sure your weapon actually has a bayonet attached. After completing Joseph's Secret, Eden's Gift can sometimes cause an ordinary takedown animation to occur instead of a bayonet finishing attack. If this happens, try approaching another Enforcer from the front and performing the attack again. Apparently, the Captain has access to homemade rocket launchers, powerful machine guns, and supernatural abilities. Naturally, the final solution involves attaching a sharp piece of metal to the end of a firearm and charging directly toward the most heavily armored soldier in Hope County.

Trophy: Good Job, Cap

Kill 5 enemies by throwing a shield at them.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill five enemies by throwing shields at them. Some Highwaymen soldiers carry large shields that protect them from incoming gunfire. These enemies are known as Brawlers, and their shields can also be used as weapons once you've separated the soldiers from them. For this trophy, you'll need to pick up a shield and throw it at an enemy, delivering the killing blow with the impact. You must eliminate five enemies using thrown shields. The kills are cumulative, so you don't need to complete them during a single encounter. Step 1: Find Shield-Carrying Enemies Shield-carrying Brawlers appear throughout Hope County, particularly at Highwaymen outposts and during combat encounters. A reliable location is The Island outpost, which contains several shielded enemies. Higher-rank outposts can also provide opportunities, but lower-ranked soldiers are generally easier targets because they have less health. Step 2: Obtain a Shield Locate a Highwayman carrying a shield. You can eliminate the soldier to make them drop it, or attack the shield until the enemy releases it. Once a shield is lying on the ground, approach it and press R3 to pick it up. The Captain will hold the shield, allowing you to use it as a temporary weapon. Step 3: Throw the Shield Find another enemy standing nearby. Aim toward the enemy and press R3 again to throw the shield. A successful hit deals significant damage and can instantly kill weaker Highwaymen. If the enemy survives, you'll need to find another opportunity to finish a target with a thrown shield. Step 4: Repeat Until You've Killed Five Enemies Continue collecting and throwing shields until you've scored five killing blows. You can earn the kills across different missions, outposts, and encounters. The trophy unlocks after your fifth qualifying shield-throw kill.

Tip

Target Rank I or Rank II Highwaymen whenever possible. Their lower health makes them easier to kill with a single shield throw. If you're fighting stronger enemies, weaken them with a firearm before throwing the shield to finish them. The Island outpost is particularly useful because multiple shield-carrying soldiers can appear there. You can scavenge and recapture outposts to create additional opportunities if you run out of suitable targets.

Warning

The shield must deliver the killing blow. Simply hitting five enemies with shields won't unlock the trophy. Killing shield-carrying soldiers with firearms or ordinary melee attacks doesn't count. Thrown shields can be difficult to aim accurately, especially against moving enemies. Try attacking soldiers who are standing still or approaching directly toward you. Apparently, the Captain has discovered that the Highwaymen's defensive equipment makes an excellent offensive weapon. The enemy's procurement department probably didn't anticipate this particular design feature.

Trophy: Hey Father, Watch This

Perform an Aerial Takedown after using Leap of Faith.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Perform an aerial takedown immediately after using Leap of Faith. Leap of Faith is an Eden's Gift ability that allows the Captain to perform a second jump while already airborne. This ability becomes available after completing the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. For this trophy, you'll need to use Leap of Faith to jump above an enemy and eliminate them with an aerial takedown. Step 1: Unlock Leap of Faith Complete Joseph's Secret during Act 2. After the mission, open the Perks menu and locate Leap of Faith. Purchase the ability for 7 perk points. Once unlocked, you'll be able to perform a second jump by pressing Cross while airborne. Step 2: Find a Suitable Enemy Travel to an area containing ordinary Highwaymen soldiers. Rank I enemies are recommended because they're easier to approach and eliminate. Good locations include: Rank I outposts. Highwaymen patrols. Early Expedition locations. Enemy-controlled roads and settlements. Look for a soldier standing alone or separated from nearby enemies. Step 3: Approach the Enemy Move toward the target without being detected. Try to position yourself close enough that your double jump will place you directly above the soldier. You don't need to start from a rooftop or elevated platform because Leap of Faith provides the additional height required. Step 4: Perform the Double Jump Press Cross to jump into the air. While airborne, press Cross again to activate Leap of Faith. This second jump will propel the Captain higher into the air. Move toward the enemy while descending. Step 5: Perform an Aerial Takedown When you're directly above the enemy and the takedown prompt appears, press R3. The Captain will perform an aerial takedown, eliminating the target. If the takedown follows your Leap of Faith double jump, the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Choose an enemy who is standing still to make positioning easier. You can use your surroundings to approach from behind without being detected. Practice the double jump in a safe area before attempting the takedown so you're comfortable with the additional movement. If you're struggling to get the prompt, try jumping from slightly farther away and moving toward the target during your second jump.

Warning

You must perform an aerial takedown after activating Leap of Faith. A normal aerial takedown from a roof or ledge won't count unless you've also performed the second jump. The enemy must be eliminated by the takedown itself, not by gunfire or an ordinary melee attack. Make sure you've purchased the Leap of Faith perk before attempting the trophy. Apparently, Joseph Seed has granted the Captain the miraculous power of double jumping. Naturally, the first practical application is landing directly on someone's head.

Trophy: It's Super Effective!

Headshot an Enforcer with Piercing Ammo.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Headshot an Elite Enforcer using piercing ammunition. Enforcers are the Highwaymen's most powerful soldiers. They're easily identified by their distinctive pink armor, reinforced helmets, and gold-colored health bars. These enemies appear during later story missions, higher-rank Expeditions, and Rank III outpost liberations. They can also arrive as reinforcements when alarms are triggered at Rank II outposts. For this trophy, you must hit an Enforcer in the head using piercing ammunition. You don't need to kill the Enforcer with the shot. Step 1: Obtain Piercing Ammunition Piercing ammunition is specialized ammunition designed to penetrate armored targets. Visit a workbench at Prosperity or a liberated outpost. Open the Special Ammo section and obtain piercing ammunition for a compatible weapon. Piercing ammunition can be used with several weapon types, including: - Assault rifles. - Light machine guns. - Sniper rifles. A sniper rifle is recommended because it allows you to aim precisely at the Enforcer's head. Step 2: Find an Enforcer The easiest way to locate an Enforcer is to attack a Rank III outpost. Every Rank III outpost contains Elite Enforcers, making them reliable targets. Alternatively, you can trigger reinforcements at a Rank II outpost by allowing an enemy to activate an alarm. Look for soldiers wearing heavy pink armor with gold health bars. Step 3: Equip Piercing Ammunition Open your weapon wheel by holding L1. Highlight your compatible firearm and press R1 to switch ammunition types. Select piercing ammunition before approaching the Enforcer. Step 4: Land a Headshot Aim directly at the Enforcer's head. Fire a shot using your piercing ammunition. The trophy unlocks when a qualifying headshot successfully connects.

Tip

A Rank III outpost is the most reliable place to complete this trophy because Enforcers are guaranteed to appear. Use a scoped rifle to make aiming easier, especially if the enemy is moving. You can work toward this trophy while progressing through All Your Bases, which requires liberating all 10 outposts on Rank III.

Warning

Regular ammunition doesn't count. You must use piercing ammunition. Make sure you've switched ammunition types before firing. An Enforcer is different from a regular Rank III Highwayman. Look for the gold health bar and heavy pink armor. You don't need to eliminate the Enforcer, but the shot must hit the head. Apparently, the Highwaymen spent a fortune developing advanced helmets, only for the Captain to discover ammunition specifically designed to make those helmets considerably less useful.

Trophy: Tip o' the Hat

Knock an enemy's helmet off with a charged melee attack.

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Knock an enemy's helmet off using a charged melee attack. Some Highwaymen soldiers wear protective helmets that can absorb damage and prevent ordinary headshots from killing them immediately. For this trophy, you'll need to remove one of those helmets using a powerful charged melee attack. You can perform charged melee attacks with either your fists or an equipped melee weapon. Step 1: Find a Helmeted Enemy Look for Highwaymen soldiers wearing visible protective helmets. Rank III soldiers and Elite Enforcers are particularly useful because they frequently wear reinforced head protection. Reliable locations include: Rank II and Rank III Highwaymen outposts. Higher-rank Expeditions. Later story missions. Highwaymen patrols containing armored soldiers. A Rank III outpost is recommended because you'll encounter multiple helmeted enemies. Step 2: Equip a Melee Weapon Open your weapon wheel and equip a melee weapon. You can also attempt this trophy using your fists, but a melee weapon may make landing the attack easier. Before approaching the enemy, make sure their helmet is still intact. Avoid shooting the enemy in the head because you might accidentally remove the helmet before performing the charged attack. Step 3: Perform a Charged Melee Attack Approach the helmeted enemy. Hold R2 to charge your melee attack. The Captain will prepare a stronger strike before lunging toward the target. Aim your attack toward the enemy's head and release the charged strike. If the attack successfully knocks the helmet off, the trophy should unlock. Step 4: Repeat If Necessary If the helmet remains attached or the trophy doesn't unlock, find another helmeted enemy and repeat the process. You can try different melee weapons or target higher-ranked soldiers if you're having difficulty. The trophy doesn't require you to kill the enemy. Removing the helmet with the charged melee attack is the important part. Recommended Method: Rank III Outpost Travel to any Rank III outpost and identify a heavily armored Highwayman. Eliminate nearby enemies if necessary so you can approach your target safely. Leave one helmeted enemy alive. Equip your melee weapon and move close enough to perform a charged attack. Hold R2, aim toward the enemy's head, and release the strike. If the helmet comes off without the trophy unlocking, try again against another enemy.

Tip

Higher-ranked enemies are good targets because their helmets are easier to identify and they can survive more punishment. You can work toward this trophy while completing All Your Bases, since Rank III outposts contain numerous armored soldiers. Upgrading your health through Prosperity's Infirmary can help you survive while approaching heavily armed targets.

Warning

The helmet must be removed by a charged melee attack. Ordinary punches, standard melee strikes, firearms, and explosives won't satisfy the requirement. Make sure you're holding R2 long enough to perform the charged attack rather than tapping it for a regular strike. This trophy has reported tracking inconsistencies. If the helmet visibly comes off but the trophy doesn't unlock, repeat the action against another helmeted enemy. Rank III soldiers and Elite Enforcers are useful alternatives when lower-ranked enemies aren't registering correctly. Apparently, the Captain has decided that removing an enemy's helmet with a heavily charged punch is the most efficient way to conduct a surprise equipment inspection. The Highwaymen's safety officer is going to have some paperwork to complete.

Trophy: Fly, You Fools!

No wings means less drag, right? Take a short flight in the wingless plane.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Launch Nick Rye's wingless plane into the air and successfully land it. During Far Cry New Dawn, you'll discover that Nick Rye's beloved aircraft has survived the nuclear apocalypse. Unfortunately, it has lost its wings, which makes traditional flying somewhat difficult. Despite this minor engineering problem, the aircraft can still travel across water like a motorboat. For this trophy, you'll need to make the wingless plane briefly airborne using an explosion. Step 1: Recruit Nick Rye Complete the specialist recruitment mission The Great Escape during Act 1. You'll rescue Nick from the Highwaymen and help him escape using his wingless aircraft. Once the mission is complete, the vehicle becomes available to spawn at boathouses throughout Hope County. The aircraft is called Carmina (The Plane). Step 2: Obtain Dynamite You'll need at least one stick of dynamite to launch the aircraft. Dynamite can be crafted using available resources or obtained through normal gameplay. Consider bringing several sticks because positioning the explosion correctly may require multiple attempts. Step 3: Spawn the Wingless Plane Travel to a boathouse, such as the one east of Prosperity. Interact with the vehicle station and select Carmina (The Plane). Spawn the aircraft and enter the pilot's seat. Drive into an open section of water with enough space to maneuver. Step 4: Launch the Plane The goal is to use a dynamite explosion to propel the plane upward. To accomplish this: Position the plane in open water. Stop or slow the aircraft so you can line up your approach. Throw a stick of dynamite into the water directly ahead of the plane. Immediately accelerate toward the dynamite. Drive over the explosive just as it detonates. Allow the explosion to launch the aircraft into the air. Land back on the water. If the explosion sends the wingless plane high enough into the air, the trophy will unlock after you land.

Tip

Timing is the most important part of this trophy. If the dynamite explodes too early, the aircraft may not receive enough upward force. If it explodes too late, you may drive past it before the blast occurs. Try throwing the dynamite a short distance in front of the plane, then immediately accelerating over it. Use an open stretch of water to avoid hitting obstacles when the aircraft lands.

Warning

Simply driving Nick's plane across water doesn't count. You must launch it into the air. The aircraft must survive the explosion and land successfully. If the plane is destroyed, return to a boathouse and spawn another one. Only Carmina (The Plane), Nick Rye's wingless aircraft, qualifies for this trophy. Apparently, Nick Rye has discovered that wings are completely optional if you're willing to replace conventional aerodynamics with dynamite. Aviation authorities would probably disagree.

Trophy: My Little Fortress

Make Prosperity better than ever! Build all Infrastructure upgrades available. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Fully upgrade every infrastructure facility at Prosperity. Prosperity is your primary settlement in Far Cry New Dawn, and upgrading its infrastructure provides access to stronger weapons, better vehicles, additional health, improved companions, and other important benefits. For this trophy, you'll need to fully upgrade all eight specialized facilities and Prosperity itself, bringing all nine infrastructure categories to Level 3. The upgrades primarily require Ethanol, which is earned by liberating Highwaymen outposts, scavenging captured outposts, and delivering Ethanol tankers. You'll need to upgrade the following facilities: 1. Workbench Allows you to craft increasingly powerful weapons. Level 1 unlocks Rank II weapons. Level 2 unlocks Rank III weapons. Level 3 unlocks Elite weapons. This should be one of your highest priorities because Elite weapons make the Platinum's harder combat challenges significantly easier. 2. Infirmary Increases your maximum health. Level 1 increases health to 150%. Level 2 increases health to 200%. Level 3 increases health to 250%. Additional health is especially useful when fighting Enforcers and completing Rank III activities. 3. Garage Unlocks stronger vehicles. Level 1 unlocks Rank II vehicles. Level 2 unlocks Rank III vehicles. Level 3 unlocks Elite vehicles. 4. Training Camp Improves your Guns for Hire and Fangs for Hire. Level 1 increases companions to Rank II. Level 2 increases companions to Rank III. Level 3 increases companions to Elite rank. Fully upgraded companions become much more effective against powerful enemies. 5. Explosive Lab Unlocks additional explosives and specialized ammunition. Higher upgrades provide equipment such as remote explosives, proximity explosives, and enhanced ammunition. 6. Expeditions Improves your travel options and unlocks Expedition missions. Level 1 unlocks Expeditions and additional fast-travel options. Level 2 allows fast travel to discovered locations. Level 3 unlocks the Air Drop option when fast traveling. 7. Healing Garden Improves the effectiveness of medkits. Higher levels extend the healing benefits provided by medkits, making them more useful during difficult encounters. 8. Cartography Unlocks additional maps that reveal resources, collectibles, animals, and activities. Higher levels provide access to maps for Treasure Hunts, MP3 players, Dear Photographs, predators, and Monstrous Animals. 9. Prosperity The main settlement must also reach Level 3. Progressing through the story and recruiting specialists allows you to improve Prosperity itself, which increases the maximum upgrade level available for its facilities. Once every infrastructure category reaches Level 3, the trophy will unlock. Recommended Method: Farm Rank III Outposts Capturing and scavenging outposts is one of the most effective ways to earn Ethanol. After liberating an outpost, scavenge it to allow the Highwaymen to reclaim the location at a higher rank. Repeat until the outpost reaches Rank III. Completing Rank III liberations awards substantial Ethanol, especially when you prevent enemies from activating alarms. You'll need to complete all 10 Rank III outposts for All Your Bases anyway, so combining the two objectives saves considerable time.

Tip

Prioritize the Workbench, Expeditions, and Infirmary during your first upgrades. A fully upgraded Workbench gives you access to Elite weapons, while the Infirmary helps you survive encounters against tougher enemies. Save most of your Ethanol for Prosperity upgrades instead of spending it on unnecessary weapon improvements or collectible maps early in the campaign.

Warning

You must fully upgrade all nine infrastructure categories, not just the eight specialized facilities. Simply reaching Prosperity Level 3 doesn't unlock the trophy. You'll need to purchase the maximum upgrades for every individual facility. This trophy is host-only, so make the upgrades in your own campaign. Apparently, the Captain's job description now includes construction management, resource budgeting, medical infrastructure, and military research. The apocalypse has created a surprisingly competitive employment market.

Trophy: Paladin’s Secret

Find Sam Fisher’s outfit in the Government Plane Wreck expedition

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Find Sam Fisher's outfit during the Government Plane Wreck Expedition. This trophy is a reference to Sam Fisher, the legendary operative from Ubisoft's Splinter Cell series. His outfit is hidden inside the wreckage of a government aircraft, and you'll need to locate a secret room to obtain it. The Government Plane Wreck is the fifth Expedition in Far Cry New Dawn. You'll unlock access to it by progressing through the Expedition missions. The trophy can be earned on any Expedition difficulty, so Rank I is recommended. Step 1: Start Government Plane Wreck Open your Journal and select the Government Plane Wreck Expedition. After arriving at the location, you'll find a crashed government aircraft surrounded by Highwaymen. Step 2: Travel to the Rear Section From your starting position, turn left and cross the nearby river. Follow the river toward the rear section of the crashed aircraft. This section is separated from the main objective area and can be explored before collecting the Expedition's supply package. Step 3: Find the Laptop Enter the rear section of the plane. You'll encounter two Highwaymen soldiers guarding the interior. Eliminate both enemies and search the area for an interactive laptop. Approach the laptop and interact with it. This activates the mechanism needed to access the hidden outfit. Step 4: Collect Sam Fisher's Outfit After using the laptop, travel to the very back of the aircraft. The previously inaccessible area containing Sam Fisher's outfit will now be available. Approach the outfit and collect it. The trophy unlocks immediately after discovering the secret. You'll also receive the outfit as a customization reward.

Tip

Complete this trophy on Rank I to avoid unnecessary fights against stronger enemies. Search for the outfit before collecting the Expedition's main supply package. This allows you to explore without dealing with the additional pressure of extraction reinforcements. You can replay the Government Plane Wreck Expedition if you've already completed it without finding the outfit.

Warning

The hidden outfit is only available during the Government Plane Wreck Expedition. Simply completing the Expedition won't unlock Paladin's Secret. You must interact with the laptop before accessing the outfit's location. Don't leave the aircraft immediately after finding the laptop. Continue toward the rear section and collect the actual reward. Sam Fisher survived years of dangerous covert operations only for his iconic outfit to end up in a crashed airplane. At least the Captain appreciates quality espionage equipment.

Trophy: Poof!

Use 3 smoke grenades.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Use three smoke grenades. Smoke grenades are throwable gadgets that create clouds of smoke, making it harder for enemies to see you. They're useful for escaping dangerous encounters, distracting soldiers, and moving between cover. For this trophy, you simply need to throw three smoke grenades. You don't need to hit enemies or use the grenades during combat. Step 1: Obtain Smoke Grenades Smoke grenades can be found while exploring, purchased where available, or crafted using scavenged resources. Crafting a smoke grenade requires: 1 Yucca 1 Black Powder Yucca plants are commonly found in forests and wooded areas. Black Powder can be obtained from containers, enemies, and other supply sources throughout Hope County. Step 2: Equip Smoke Grenades Open your weapon wheel by holding L1. Navigate to the throwable equipment section. Select smoke grenades as your active throwable. Step 3: Throw Three Smoke Grenades Find a safe location where you won't be interrupted by enemies. Throw a smoke grenade onto the ground. Wait for the smoke to appear, then throw another. Repeat until you've used three smoke grenades. The trophy unlocks after the third grenade is used.

Tip

You can complete this trophy almost immediately after acquiring enough crafting materials. There's no need to save your smoke grenades for a particular mission. Smoke grenades are also useful during stealth encounters, especially when attempting to escape enemy detection.

Warning

You must use three actual smoke grenades. Other throwable explosives, such as dynamite or Molotov cocktails, don't count. You don't need to throw all three during a single combat encounter or affect any enemies with the smoke. The trophy only requires using the grenades, not achieving a specific tactical result. Apparently, the Captain's latest revolutionary technique involves throwing three clouds of smoke into the air and calling it a successful mission. Sometimes the easiest trophies are the most satisfying.

Trophy: Safekeeping

Picklock 5 safes. With no more banks, it's the closest thing you'll get to experiencing a heist.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Pick the locks on five safes throughout Hope County. Safes contain valuable crafting materials and resources, making them useful whenever you're exploring military facilities, abandoned buildings, and Treasure Hunt locations. Before attempting this trophy, you'll need to unlock the Lock Picking perk. Step 1: Purchase Lock Picking Open the Perks menu and locate Lock Picking. Purchase the perk using six perk points. You can earn perk points by completing challenges, Treasure Hunts, and other activities. Once unlocked, you'll be able to open safes without using explosives. Step 2: Locate Safes Safes can be found throughout Hope County. Common locations include: Highwaymen outposts. Treasure Hunt stashes. Abandoned buildings. Enemy-controlled facilities. Hidden supply rooms. Treasure Hunts are particularly useful because many of their final rooms contain safes. Step 3: Pick Five Locks Approach a safe and look for the lock-picking interaction prompt. Hold Square to begin opening it. After several seconds, the safe will unlock and you can collect its contents. Repeat this process until you've successfully picked five different safe locks. The trophy unlocks after the fifth successful lock-picking interaction.

Tip

Work toward Safekeeping alongside Finders Keepers. Many Treasure Hunts contain safes, allowing you to collect valuable resources while progressing toward both trophies. The Lock Picking perk is also useful throughout the campaign, so purchasing it early is a good investment.

Warning

You must pick the locks on the safes for this trophy. Opening safes using explosives or other methods won't satisfy the lock-picking requirement. Make sure you use the Lock Picking interaction on all five safes. With the banking system gone, the Captain has apparently become Hope County's most enthusiastic safecracker. At least nobody's around to complain about the withdrawal fees.

Trophy: Save Your Bacon

Recruit Horatio. Don't mind his temper, he can be pig-headed sometimes. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Recruit Horatio, the boar Fang for Hire. Horatio is one of the eight companions available in Far Cry New Dawn. He's an unusually aggressive boar who specializes in charging enemies, disrupting their defenses, and surviving intense combat encounters. To recruit him, you'll need to complete the side mission To Love a Boar. Step 1: Find Horatio's Location Travel to Horatio's recruitment mission marker in Hope County. You'll arrive at a farm where the Highwaymen have captured Horatio and locked him inside a shed. Approach the location and prepare for combat. Step 2: Eliminate the Highwaymen Several Highwaymen soldiers are guarding the farm. Eliminate the enemies surrounding the shed. You can approach stealthily or use conventional combat, depending on your preferred playstyle. Make sure the area is safe before attempting to release Horatio. Step 3: Free Horatio Locate the shed where Horatio is being held captive. Look for the lock securing the door. Shoot the lock to open the shed and release him. Horatio will emerge from captivity. Step 4: Pet Horatio Approach Horatio and interact with him when prompted. Petting Horatio completes the recruitment process. The mission will finish, and Horatio will become available in your Guns for Hire roster. The trophy unlocks after successfully recruiting him.

Tip

Horatio is particularly useful during open combat because his charging attacks can knock enemies down and disrupt shield-bearing soldiers. After earning enough kills, he unlocks additional abilities, including the ability to revive himself. Recruiting Horatio also contributes toward Closed for Applications, which requires recruiting all eight Guns for Hire and Fangs for Hire.

Warning

Simply opening the shed isn't enough. You must complete the recruitment mission, including the final interaction with Horatio. This trophy is host-only, so recruit him in your own campaign. Apparently, the Highwaymen thought imprisoning an enormous, furious boar was a good idea. The Captain has kindly arranged for them to reconsider that decision.

Trophy: Sidecar Sidekick

Drive with Timber for a total of 5 minutes. Just don't take him to the vet.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Drive with Timber riding in a vehicle's sidecar for a total of five minutes. Timber is an adorable dog and one of the eight Guns for Hire available in Far Cry New Dawn. Before attempting this trophy, you'll need to recruit him by completing the side mission Man Eat Dog World. Step 1: Recruit Timber Travel to the location of Timber's recruitment mission, east of the Broken Forge outpost. You'll discover that the Highwaymen have been keeping dogs in cages. Follow the mission objectives to free Timber and the other captured animals. Eliminate the Highwaymen guarding the area, open the cages, and interact with Timber as instructed. Once the mission is complete, Timber becomes available as a Fang for Hire. Step 2: Obtain a Sidecar Vehicle Travel to a liberated outpost or another location with a vehicle crafting station. Open the vehicle menu and select a motorcycle equipped with a sidecar. The Rusty Sidecar is one of the cheapest options and works perfectly for this trophy. Craft or spawn the vehicle. Step 3: Drive With Timber Open the Guns for Hire menu and assign Timber as your active companion. Enter the motorcycle and allow Timber to climb into the sidecar. Once he's seated, begin driving around Hope County. Continue driving until you've accumulated five minutes with Timber in the passenger seat. The trophy unlocks after reaching the required duration.

Tip

The five minutes are cumulative. You don't need to complete the entire drive without stopping. Choose a quiet stretch of road to avoid enemy attacks interrupting your progress. You can combine this with ordinary exploration, supply collection, or traveling between missions.

Warning

Timber must actually be riding in the sidecar for the time to count. Simply having him selected as your companion while driving another vehicle won't satisfy the requirement. If Timber gets out or becomes incapacitated, summon him again and continue driving. Five minutes of riding around with an enthusiastic dog might be the most wholesome activity in Hope County. Enjoy it before someone starts shooting.

Trophy: Springboard

Survive a 30m fall using only Leap of Faith to nullify the impact.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Survive a fall of at least 30 meters using only Leap of Faith to prevent fall damage. Leap of Faith is an Eden's Gift ability that allows the Captain to perform a second jump while already airborne. Normally, falling from a significant height would cause severe damage or kill the Captain. However, Leap of Faith can interrupt your fall and allow you to land safely when activated at the correct moment. For this trophy, you must fall at least 30 meters and use Leap of Faith to survive the landing. Step 1: Unlock Leap of Faith Progress through the main campaign until you complete the Act 2 story mission Joseph's Secret. Completing this mission unlocks access to several Eden's Gift abilities. Open the Perks menu and purchase Leap of Faith for 7 perk points. Once unlocked, the ability allows you to perform a second jump by pressing Cross while airborne. Step 2: Find a Suitable Height You'll need a location that allows you to fall at least 30 meters. Several options work: Option 1: Helicopter Find or craft a helicopter and fly to a suitable altitude. Position yourself above an open area where you can land safely. Exit the helicopter without deploying your parachute or wingsuit. Option 2: Tall Building or Mountain Travel to a high building, cliff, or mountain with a vertical drop exceeding 30 meters. Choose a location with clear ground below. Jump from the edge and begin falling. Option 3: Air Drop Fast Travel This is one of the easiest methods once you've fully upgraded Prosperity's Expeditions facility. The Level 3 upgrade unlocks the Air Drop fast-travel option. Select an available Air Drop location and begin descending toward the ground. This provides enough height to attempt the trophy without finding a cliff or flying a helicopter. Step 3: Fall at Least 30 Meters Begin your descent from a suitable height. Allow the Captain to fall toward the ground. Don't activate Leap of Faith immediately after jumping. You need to fall far enough for the game to register the required 30-meter distance. Step 4: Activate Leap of Faith Before Landing As you approach the ground, press Cross to activate Leap of Faith. The Captain will perform a second jump, interrupting the fall. If timed correctly, this will prevent fall damage and allow you to land safely. The trophy unlocks after surviving a qualifying fall. Recommended Method: Air Drop Complete Joseph's Secret. Purchase Leap of Faith. Upgrade Prosperity's Expeditions facility to Level 3. Select the Air Drop option from the fast-travel menu. Begin descending toward an open area. Allow yourself to fall more than 30 meters. Press Cross shortly before reaching the ground. Land safely using Leap of Faith. This method is particularly convenient because you can repeat it without needing to find a tall building or prepare a helicopter.

Tip

Practice the timing from smaller heights before attempting the full 30-meter fall. You want to activate Leap of Faith close enough to the ground that the second jump prevents fall damage. However, pressing Cross too late may cause you to hit the ground before the ability activates. Choose an open landing area without rocks, buildings, or other obstacles. You can also work toward Hey Father, Watch This after unlocking Leap of Faith, since that trophy requires performing an aerial takedown after using the double jump.

Warning

You must survive the fall using Leap of Faith. Deploying a parachute, using a wingsuit, or landing in water won't satisfy the requirement. The fall must be at least 30 meters before the qualifying Leap of Faith landing. Activating the second jump too early may prevent the trophy from registering. If you die from the fall, try again and activate Leap of Faith slightly sooner. Apparently, the Captain has discovered that the laws of physics are more like general recommendations. Who needs a parachute when you can simply jump again moments before hitting the ground?

Trophy: A Graceful Return

Recover Grace's prototype gun and welcome her back to Prosperity for good. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the specialist mission Buzz Kill and recruit Grace Armstrong to Prosperity. Grace is a returning character from Far Cry 5 and one of the specialists who can help improve your settlement. You can begin recruiting her during Act 1. Travel to Grace's location at the abandoned railway yard and speak with her to begin Buzz Kill. Grace needs your help recovering materials and equipment from an area occupied by the Highwaymen. Step 1: Clear the Railway Yard Travel into the railway yard and eliminate the Highwaymen guarding the location. Use cover and a reliable weapon to deal with any enemies blocking your path. Once the area is secure, begin searching for Grace's missing supplies. Step 2: Recover the Materials You'll need to locate three bundles of materials scattered around the railway yard. Some are positioned in elevated or otherwise difficult-to-reach locations. Explore the train cars, nearby structures, and surrounding platforms to find them. Use available climbing routes to reach the supplies. Step 3: Return to Grace Once you've recovered all three bundles, return to Grace and complete the conversation. She'll agree to join Prosperity and help the settlement develop its weapons capabilities. The trophy unlocks after successfully completing the mission.

Tip

Recruit Grace early because she's one of the specialists available during Act 1. You'll need to recruit at least two specialists to progress the main campaign, so completing Buzz Kill helps satisfy that requirement. If you're struggling to locate the supplies, check elevated platforms and accessible railway structures rather than searching only at ground level.

Warning

A Graceful Return is tied to a specialist recruitment mission rather than the main campaign's mandatory mission sequence. You must complete Buzz Kill to unlock the trophy. It's also host-only, so complete Grace's recruitment mission in your own campaign. Grace survived the collapse of civilization and still wants to help manufacture better weapons. Some people really do remain committed to their profession.

Trophy: Bring a Knife to a Gun Fight

Kill 25 enemies using any type of takedown. Put that railroad spike to good use!

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Kill 25 enemies using takedowns. Takedowns are close-range finishing moves that allow the Captain to eliminate Highwaymen without relying on conventional gunfire. They're particularly useful during stealth encounters, outpost liberations, and missions where you want to avoid alerting nearby enemies. For this trophy, you must perform a total of 25 successful takedown kills. You can use several takedown methods, including standard melee takedowns and aerial takedowns. The kills are cumulative and don't need to happen during a single mission or combat encounter. Step 1: Find Suitable Enemies The easiest way to begin is by targeting Rank I Highwaymen soldiers. These enemies are common throughout Hope County and are generally easier to eliminate quietly than higher-ranked soldiers. Good locations include: Rank I Highwaymen outposts. Enemy patrols along roads. Treasure Hunt locations guarded by Highwaymen. Early story missions. Expedition locations. Step 2: Approach an Enemy Move toward an enemy without being detected. Crouch to reduce noise and use vegetation, buildings, or other objects for cover. Approaching an enemy from behind is generally the safest method. Wait until you're close enough for the takedown prompt to appear. Step 3: Perform a Takedown Press R3 when the takedown prompt appears. The Captain will perform a close-range finishing move, instantly eliminating an eligible enemy. Repeat this process against additional soldiers. You can also perform aerial takedowns by jumping onto enemies from elevated positions and pressing R3 when prompted. Step 4: Reach 25 Takedown Kills Continue using takedowns until you've eliminated 25 enemies. The trophy unlocks when the required total has been registered. You can complete these kills throughout your entire campaign, so there's no need to farm them all at once.

Tip

Start working on this trophy early because low-rank soldiers are much easier to eliminate with basic takedowns. Purchase the higher-rank takedown perks as you progress so you can eliminate tougher enemies. Scavenging and recapturing outposts provides additional opportunities to perform takedowns. You can also work toward this trophy alongside Pure Ninja, which requires liberating a Rank III outpost without being detected. However, focus on weaker enemies when possible, as Elite Enforcers are considerably more difficult to eliminate quietly.

Warning

Only qualifying takedown kills count. Ordinary melee attacks, firearm kills, and explosives won't contribute. Some players have reported delayed trophy unlocking even after performing 25 takedowns. If the trophy doesn't unlock immediately, continue performing additional qualifying takedowns until it registers. You don't need to complete all 25 takedowns without being detected, and there's no requirement to use the same takedown animation every time. Apparently, the Captain has decided that ammunition is far too valuable to waste on every Highwayman. Sometimes a railroad spike and a little enthusiasm are all you need.

Trophy: Captain's Courageous

Kill your first Enforcer. I'm sure this will send the Highwaymen a good message.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Kill your first Enforcer. Enforcers are the most heavily armored soldiers employed by the Highwaymen. They're classified as Elite enemies and can be identified by their gold-colored health bars, reinforced helmets, and distinctive heavy combat equipment. Unlike ordinary Highwaymen soldiers, Enforcers have considerably more health and can withstand significant damage. They also carry powerful weapons, making them dangerous opponents during early encounters. For this trophy, you only need to eliminate one Enforcer. Step 1: Find an Enforcer Enforcers appear in several locations throughout the game. The most reliable methods include: Rank II Outposts When attacking a Rank II outpost, allow an enemy to activate an alarm. The Highwaymen may send an Enforcer as part of their reinforcements. Rank III Outposts Every Rank III outpost contains Elite Enforcers. This is the most reliable method because you won't need to depend on reinforcements arriving. Later Story Missions Enforcers appear naturally during several later campaign encounters. Higher-Rank Expeditions You can also encounter Enforcers during more difficult Expedition missions. Step 2: Prepare Your Equipment Before engaging an Enforcer, equip a powerful weapon. Rank III or Elite weapons are recommended because lower-ranked firearms may deal limited damage against heavily armored enemies. A light machine gun, assault rifle, or powerful sniper rifle can work well. Bring medkits and use cover to avoid sustained enemy fire. Step 3: Eliminate the Enforcer Once you've located an Enforcer, identify the enemy by their gold health bar. Aim for exposed areas or use piercing ammunition to deal with their armor. Keep moving and avoid remaining in the open while the Enforcer attacks. Continue firing until the enemy is defeated. The trophy unlocks immediately after your first Enforcer kill.

Tip

You'll naturally encounter numerous Enforcers while working toward All Your Bases, which requires liberating every outpost on Rank III. You can also combine this trophy with It's Super Effective! by landing a headshot with piercing ammunition before killing an Enforcer. If you're planning to complete Get to the Point, consider weakening an Enforcer and finishing them with a bayonet-equipped weapon instead. This allows you to work toward multiple trophies during the same encounter.

Warning

Ordinary Rank III soldiers don't count. You must kill an actual Elite Enforcer, identified by their gold health bar. Enforcers can absorb substantial damage, so don't attempt the fight with severely underpowered weapons unless you're prepared for a lengthy encounter. You only need to kill one Enforcer for this trophy. There are no special weapon or difficulty requirements. Apparently, the Highwaymen believed that covering a soldier in expensive armor would make them unstoppable. The Captain is about to conduct a practical demonstration of why that theory needs further research.

Trophy: Coming Up With the Goods

Return Selene's valuable stash. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the specialist mission Deep Dive and recruit Selene to Prosperity. Selene is a specialist who can help improve Prosperity's medical facilities. You can recruit her during Act 1 by traveling to her marked location and beginning Deep Dive. During the mission, Selene asks you to recover valuable supplies from an abandoned missile silo. Unfortunately, the supplies are located deep inside a flooded underground facility. Step 1: Enter the Missile Silo Travel to the mission location and enter the abandoned silo. Follow the objective markers deeper into the structure until you reach the flooded sections. You'll need to navigate the facility while searching for ways to raise the water level. Step 2: Raise the Water Level The main puzzle involves increasing the water level to reach previously inaccessible areas. Search for the mechanisms that control the water and activate them in the correct sequence. You'll need to raise the water level three times as you progress through the silo. Each time the water rises, new passages and platforms become accessible. Pay attention to your oxygen while swimming through submerged areas. Return to the surface whenever possible to avoid drowning. Step 3: Recover Selene's Supplies After successfully raising the water level for the third time, you'll be able to access the area containing Selene's stash. Collect the supplies and follow the objective markers to leave the facility. Return the materials to Selene to complete Deep Dive. She'll join Prosperity, and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Take your time exploring each flooded section before activating the next mechanism. If you're having trouble finding the correct route, look for climbable platforms, doorways, and machinery that become accessible as the water rises. Selene is another specialist available during Act 1, so recruiting her helps you meet the campaign's early settlement requirements.

Warning

You must complete the entire Deep Dive mission and return the supplies to Selene. Simply entering the silo or locating the stash isn't enough. This is a host-only trophy, so complete the mission in your own campaign. Apparently, Hope County's medical supplies are now stored at the bottom of a flooded missile silo. Whoever designed the inventory system deserves a strongly worded complaint.

Trophy: Expeditious Retreat

Complete your first Expedition to force the Highwaymen out of a stronghold.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete your first Expedition and successfully escape with the Highwaymen's supplies. Expeditions are special missions that take you outside Hope County to raid Highwaymen strongholds throughout the United States. Each location contains valuable crafting materials that you'll need for upgrading your equipment and preparing for the Platinum's tougher challenges. To unlock Expeditions, progress through the campaign until you can upgrade the Expeditions facility at Prosperity to Level 1. Once Expeditions become available: Open your Journal and select the Expeditions section. Choose your first available Expedition, HMS MacCoubrey, an abandoned aircraft carrier. Travel to the location and search for the Highwaymen's supply package. Look for the pink smoke marking the general area where the supplies are hidden. Retrieve the package and make your way toward the extraction point. Survive the enemy reinforcements until your helicopter arrives. Board the helicopter and successfully escape. The trophy unlocks after completing your first Expedition.

Tip

You can approach the supply package using stealth, but once you collect it, the Highwaymen will begin tracking your location. After a short delay, the package's GPS tracker activates, revealing your position to nearby enemies. Bring a reliable weapon and enough medkits to survive the extraction sequence. Expeditions are also an excellent source of crafting materials, so replaying them is worthwhile when you need resources for stronger weapons.

Warning

Simply collecting the supply package isn't enough. You must survive the extraction sequence and escape in the helicopter. You'll eventually need to complete all seven unique Expeditions on Rank III for Hit the Road, so this first mission is only the beginning. Apparently, the Captain's idea of a vacation involves visiting an abandoned aircraft carrier, stealing supplies, and leaving under heavy gunfire. Hope County's travel industry has seen better days.

Trophy: Finders Keepers

Complete 3 Treasure Hunt missions. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete three Treasure Hunt missions. Treasure Hunts are optional exploration challenges scattered throughout Hope County. They function similarly to the Prepper Stashes from Far Cry 5, requiring you to solve environmental puzzles, navigate abandoned locations, and uncover hidden supplies. Treasure Hunts are marked by green diamond icons on the map once discovered. There are 10 Treasure Hunts available, but you only need to complete three for this trophy. Step 1: Discover a Treasure Hunt Explore Hope County and speak with Wiki-Bean-ia scouts to reveal Treasure Hunt locations. You can also discover them naturally by approaching the relevant areas. Once you've located a Treasure Hunt, travel to its starting point. Step 2: Investigate the Location Read any notes or clues near the entrance to understand the puzzle. Treasure Hunts may involve: Finding hidden entrances. Solving environmental puzzles. Navigating caves or abandoned buildings. Using grappling points to reach inaccessible areas. Opening locked doors or accessing secret rooms. Follow the clues until you reach the hidden stash. Step 3: Collect the Treasure Open the stash and collect the available supplies. Treasure Hunts typically contain crafting resources, ammunition, and valuable perk points. Each completed Treasure Hunt rewards three perk points, making them particularly useful for character progression. Repeat until you've completed three Treasure Hunts. The trophy unlocks after finishing the third.

Tip

Complete Treasure Hunts early because the additional perk points help unlock important abilities. Prioritize the Grappling Hook perk because some exploration activities require it. You'll eventually need a large number of perk points for Perk-olate, so completing more than the required three Treasure Hunts is worthwhile.

Warning

Discovering a Treasure Hunt location doesn't count as completing it. You must solve the puzzle and access the hidden stash. This trophy is host-only, so complete the three Treasure Hunts in your own campaign. Apparently, people preparing for the apocalypse decided to hide their valuables behind elaborate puzzles. Fortunately, they also left conveniently detailed instructions.

Trophy: Forager

Gather 15 plants growing in Hope County. It's the closest thing to a pharmacy we have nowadays.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Collect 15 plants growing throughout Hope County. Plants are common crafting resources used to create healing supplies, smoke grenades, bait, and other useful items. There are three collectible plant types in Far Cry New Dawn. 1. Yucca Yucca plants have an orange-brown appearance and are commonly found in wooded areas and around forests. They're used for crafting items such as bait and smoke grenades, as well as supplies needed to revive companions. 2. Bougainvillea Bougainvillea plants have distinctive blue-purple flowers and are frequently found near rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water. They're especially useful for crafting medkits and reviving your Guns for Hire. 3. Cistanche Cistanche plants are yellow and can often be found near roads, caves, and rocky areas. They're primarily used for crafting medkits. To collect a plant, approach it and hold Square when the interaction prompt appears. Continue collecting plants until you've gathered 15 in total. The trophy unlocks automatically after your fifteenth collection.

Tip

You don't need to collect five of each plant type. Any combination of 15 plants will satisfy the requirement. Collect plants whenever you encounter them rather than waiting until you need crafting supplies. You'll naturally gather enough resources while exploring Hope County, especially if you're regularly crafting medkits for How's it Look, Doc?

Warning

Forager counts plants you physically collect from the environment. Crafting items using materials you've already gathered doesn't increase your plant collection total. You don't need to collect every plant in the game, and none of the required plants are missable. Apparently, seventeen years after the apocalypse, Hope County's most reliable pharmacy is a patch of brightly colored weeds beside the road.

Trophy: Home is Where the Part Is

Upgrade Prosperity's infrastructure for the first time by investing in the right parts. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Purchase your first infrastructure upgrade at Prosperity. Prosperity is your main settlement in Far Cry New Dawn. As you progress through the campaign, you'll be able to improve its facilities to unlock stronger weapons, better vehicles, useful equipment, and additional gameplay features. Each infrastructure upgrade requires Ethanol, an important resource earned primarily by capturing Highwaymen outposts. To unlock the trophy: Complete the prologue and reach Prosperity. Progress until the game's infrastructure upgrade system becomes available. Open the Homebase section of your menu or approach one of Prosperity's upgradeable facilities. Select an available upgrade. Spend the required Ethanol to purchase it. The trophy unlocks immediately after purchasing your first infrastructure upgrade. You can upgrade several facilities throughout the settlement, including the Workbench, Infirmary, Garage, Training Camp, Explosive Lab, Expeditions, Healing Garden, and Cartography.

Tip

Prioritize upgrading the Workbench because stronger weapons are essential as you encounter higher-ranked enemies. The Expeditions facility is another excellent early investment because its upgrades improve fast-travel options and unlock additional activities. You'll eventually need to fully upgrade Prosperity's infrastructure for My Little Fortress, so every purchase contributes toward another trophy.

Warning

This trophy is host-only, meaning the upgrade must be purchased in your own campaign or while hosting a cooperative session. Upgrading a weapon doesn't count. You must purchase an actual infrastructure upgrade at Prosperity. Apparently, the first step toward rebuilding civilization is constructing a proper workbench. The second step is using it to manufacture increasingly ridiculous weapons.

Trophy: How's it Look, Doc?

Craft 10 Medkits. They'll definitely come in handy.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Craft 10 medkits. Medkits restore health and are among the most useful consumable items in Far Cry New Dawn. You can craft them from the beginning of the game using resources collected throughout Hope County. Each medkit requires three ingredients: Bougainvillea: A blue-purple plant commonly found near rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water. Cistanche: A yellow plant frequently found near roads, caves, and rocky terrain. Meat: Obtained by hunting and skinning animals throughout Hope County. Once you've collected the necessary ingredients, open your weapon wheel by holding L1. Hold Triangle to craft a medkit when the option is available. Repeat this process until you've crafted 10 medkits in total. The trophy unlocks after crafting your tenth medkit. You don't need to craft all 10 at once. Progress accumulates throughout your campaign.

Tip

Collect plants whenever you encounter them, especially Bougainvillea and Cistanche. These resources are easy to overlook while exploring but become useful during difficult combat encounters. You can work toward this trophy alongside Forager, which requires collecting 15 plants. If your inventory is full, use a medkit when you've taken damage before crafting another. Upgrading Prosperity's Healing Garden provides additional healing benefits and makes plant resources available at the settlement.

Warning

Only medkits you manually craft count toward this trophy. Finding medkits in supply containers or receiving them through other activities won't satisfy the crafting requirement. You'll need enough inventory space to craft additional medkits, so use your existing supplies when necessary. Apparently, the Captain has become Hope County's leading medical professional. The treatment plan consists entirely of flowers, animal meat, and blind optimism.

Trophy: Kill or Be Killed

Kill a Monstrous animal. It'd do the same to you given half the chance.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Kill one Monstrous Animal. Monstrous Animals are powerful, mutated versions of ordinary wildlife that roam Hope County. They're considerably more dangerous than regular animals, featuring large health pools and powerful attacks. There are four types of Monstrous Animals: 1. Monstrous Bison A heavily mutated bison capable of dealing significant damage with its charging attacks. 2. Monstrous Boar An aggressive boar with increased health and powerful close-range attacks. 3. Monstrous Bear A massive predator that can quickly overwhelm unprepared players. 4. Monstrous Cougar A fast and dangerous predator that attacks aggressively at close range. You only need to kill one of these animals to unlock Kill or Be Killed. Recommended Method Wait until you've crafted a Rank III or Elite weapon before actively hunting Monstrous Animals. Travel to a Monstrous Animal hunting location marked on your map. You can reveal these locations by upgrading Prosperity's Cartography facility and purchasing the appropriate hunting maps. Once you've reached a hunting area: Search the surrounding wilderness for the Monstrous Animal. Identify the creature before approaching. Equip a powerful firearm, preferably with a large ammunition capacity. Keep your distance and begin attacking. Avoid charges and other close-range attacks. Continue firing until the animal is defeated. The trophy unlocks after killing your first Monstrous Animal.

Tip

You'll eventually need to kill and skin all four Monstrous Animal types for Master Skinner, so make sure you collect the skin after defeating one. Bring Timber as your companion because he can help identify nearby wildlife. A powerful light machine gun is particularly effective against these creatures because of their large health pools.

Warning

Ordinary animals don't count. The creature must be one of the four Monstrous variants. Monstrous Animals can withstand considerable punishment, so don't underestimate them. Avoid using explosives or flamethrowers if you're also collecting skins for Master Skinner, because those weapons can destroy the animal's usable skin. Apparently, the apocalypse has produced a new category of wildlife best described as extremely angry, unusually large, and absolutely uninterested in peaceful coexistence.

Trophy: Legend Has It

Craft your first Legendary Weapon or Vehicle and start a legend of your own.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Craft your first Legendary (Elite) weapon or vehicle. Far Cry New Dawn features a crafting system that allows you to create weapons and vehicles using resources collected throughout Hope County. Weapons and vehicles are divided into four ranks, each offering improvements in damage, durability, and overall effectiveness. The four ranks are: Rank I: Basic equipment available during the early game. Rank II: Improved equipment with increased effectiveness. Rank III: Powerful equipment designed for tougher enemies. Elite: The highest equipment rank, identified by its gold-colored background. For this trophy, you only need to craft one Elite weapon or vehicle. Recommended Method: Craft an Elite Weapon Crafting an Elite weapon is recommended because you'll eventually need powerful weapons for Rank III outposts, Expeditions, and challenging combat trophies. Step 1: Upgrade Prosperity Travel to Prosperity and access the Homebase menu. Locate the Workbench facility. You'll need to upgrade the Workbench to Level 3 before Elite weapons become available. These upgrades require Ethanol, which can be earned by liberating Highwaymen outposts, scavenging captured outposts, and delivering Ethanol tankers. Continue upgrading the Workbench until you've unlocked Elite weapon crafting. Step 2: Collect Crafting Materials Elite weapons require larger quantities of crafting materials than lower-ranked equipment. Useful materials include Components, Duct Tape, Gears, Springs, and other resources obtained through exploration. You can gather these materials by: Completing Expeditions. Looting abandoned buildings and supply containers. Capturing Highwaymen outposts. Collecting Highwaymen Supply Drops. Completing Treasure Hunts. Expeditions are particularly valuable because they reward substantial crafting resources. Step 3: Craft an Elite Weapon Once your Workbench reaches Level 3, interact with it to open the crafting menu. Navigate to the Elite weapon category, identified by its gold-colored background. Select a weapon you have enough materials to craft. Two useful options are the Blunderbuss MG-42 and Lucky Shot Compound Bow. The Blunderbuss MG-42 is excellent for eliminating heavily armored enemies, while the Lucky Shot Compound Bow is especially useful for stealth encounters. Craft your chosen Elite weapon. The trophy unlocks after successfully crafting your first Elite weapon. Alternative Method: Elite Vehicle You can also earn the trophy by upgrading Prosperity's Garage to Level 3 and crafting an Elite vehicle. However, Elite weapons are generally more useful for the Platinum journey, making the Workbench the better investment.

Tip

Work toward this trophy alongside My Little Fortress, which requires fully upgrading every infrastructure facility at Prosperity. Crafting an Elite weapon early will also help with All Your Bases, Hit the Road, and Pure Ninja. If you're unsure which weapon to choose, a powerful Elite light machine gun is an excellent investment because it can handle most combat situations.

Warning

You must craft an Elite weapon or vehicle. Simply unlocking the Elite crafting category or obtaining a weapon through another method won't satisfy the requirement. Rank III equipment doesn't count. Make sure you're selecting the gold-colored Elite category. The weapon or vehicle must be crafted using the appropriate Workbench or Garage facility. Apparently, Hope County's weapons industry has reached its peak: a collection of scrap metal, duct tape, and questionable engineering decisions has somehow produced military-grade equipment. The Captain should probably patent the process.

Trophy: Perk-olate

Unlock the first level for all Perks.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Purchase the first level of all 30 perks in Far Cry New Dawn. Perks are permanent character upgrades that improve the Captain's combat abilities, mobility, equipment capacity, survival skills, and supernatural Eden's Gift powers. There are 30 different perks available in the game. For this trophy, you must purchase every perk at least once. Some perks can be upgraded repeatedly, but you only need to purchase their first tier for Perk-olate. Step 1: Unlock the Perk System The Perks menu becomes available early in the campaign. Open the pause menu and navigate to the Perks section to view your available abilities. Most perks can be purchased immediately if you have enough perk points. However, five special Eden's Gift perks remain locked until later in the story. Step 2: Earn Perk Points You'll need approximately 182 perk points to purchase the first level of all 30 perks. Perk points are earned by completing challenges and optional activities throughout Hope County. Some of the most useful sources include: Treasure Hunts There are 10 Treasure Hunts scattered throughout Hope County. Each completed Treasure Hunt awards three perk points. Completing all 10 provides 30 perk points, making these activities an excellent starting point. Combat Challenges The game rewards perk points for completing challenges involving different weapons, enemy types, and combat techniques. These include eliminating enemies with firearms, bows, explosives, melee weapons, and other equipment. Check your Challenges menu regularly to identify objectives you can complete quickly. Hunting Challenges Hunting animals contributes toward several challenges that reward additional perk points. You'll already need to collect skins from 25 animal species for Master Skinner, so you can make progress toward both objectives at the same time. Fishing Challenges Catching the six required fish species for You're a Catch can also contribute toward fishing challenges. Fishing is a useful alternative if you want to earn progression rewards without fighting heavily armored Highwaymen. Expeditions Completing Expeditions provides valuable rewards and opportunities to earn additional perk points. You'll need to complete all seven unique Expeditions on Rank III for Hit the Road, so these missions should contribute significantly toward your overall progression. Hostage Rescues Rescuing civilians from Highwaymen can also reward perk points. Look for these encounters while exploring Hope County. Step 3: Complete Joseph's Secret During Act 2, complete the main story mission Joseph's Secret. This unlocks access to the five Eden's Gift perks that were previously unavailable. These abilities include Wrath, Leap of Faith, Ghost, Eden's Touch, and Eden's Gift. You'll need to purchase all five to satisfy the trophy requirement. Step 4: Purchase All 30 Perks Once you've earned enough perk points, open the Perks menu. Work through every available perk and purchase its first level. You don't need to maximize any perk that can be upgraded repeatedly. For example, purchasing the first tier of More Lung Capacity is enough for Perk-olate, even though the perk can be purchased several more times. Continue until every perk has been purchased at least once. The trophy unlocks after purchasing your final required perk.

Tip

Work toward Perk-olate throughout your entire playthrough rather than saving it until the end. Prioritize useful abilities early, including Grappling Hook, Lock Picking, additional weapon holsters, and higher-rank takedowns. Complete Treasure Hunts whenever you discover them because they provide three perk points each. You'll naturally progress through many combat challenges while completing outposts and Expeditions. If you need additional perk points after finishing the campaign, review the Challenges menu and focus on objectives that are nearly complete.

Warning

You must purchase the first level of all 30 different perks. Purchasing multiple tiers of the same perk doesn't replace the requirement to unlock other abilities. The five Eden's Gift perks remain unavailable until you've completed Joseph's Secret. Make sure you're counting individual perks rather than the total number of upgrades purchased. You don't need to complete every challenge in the game to earn enough points. Apparently, the Captain has officially reached the point where surviving the apocalypse requires mastering everything from lock picking to supernatural powers. Hope County's personal development programs have become surprisingly demanding.

Trophy: Problem Solver

Solve the biggest problem in Hope County by defeating the Twins. Host only.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the main story mission Problem Solver by defeating the Highwaymen's twin leaders, Mickey and Lou. This mission takes place near the end of the campaign, after the Captain has helped rebuild Prosperity and established an alliance with New Eden. As the story progresses, you'll discover that the Highwaymen are preparing another major assault. Eventually, you'll confront Mickey and Lou directly. Both sisters are powerful enemies with considerable health and access to dangerous weapons. Preparing for the Fight Before beginning the mission, make sure you've upgraded Prosperity's Workbench and crafted powerful weapons. Rank III or Elite weapons are highly recommended because the twins can absorb a significant amount of damage. Bring: A powerful assault rifle or light machine gun. A reliable secondary weapon. Plenty of ammunition. A full supply of medkits. A combat-focused Gun for Hire if available. Defeating the Twins During the encounter, focus on avoiding unnecessary damage while attacking the sisters. Use the environment for cover and keep moving rather than standing in the open. Concentrate your fire on one sister at a time so you can reduce the number of enemies attacking you. If you're struggling, use explosives or powerful weapons to deal additional damage. Remember to heal whenever your health becomes low, and avoid getting trapped in close quarters. After defeating both Mickey and Lou, the mission continues into a story sequence involving the remaining Highwaymen leadership. Complete the sequence to finish Problem Solver and unlock the trophy.

Tip

Elite weapons make this encounter considerably easier. The Blunderbuss MG-42 and other powerful light machine guns are particularly useful because they deal consistent damage against heavily armored enemies. You can also upgrade your Infirmary at Prosperity to increase your maximum health before attempting the mission.

Warning

Problem Solver is a mandatory story mission and cannot be missed. It's a host-only trophy, so complete the encounter in your own campaign. Defeating the twins doesn't finish the entire game. You'll still need to complete the final story mission, Ethan's Soul, for The End of Eden. After everything the Highwaymen have put Hope County through, the Captain finally gets to file a formal complaint with management. Unfortunately, the meeting involves an unreasonable amount of gunfire.

Trophy: Prospering

Upgrade and secure Prosperity. Host only.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the main story mission Under Siege and secure Prosperity against the Highwaymen. Prospering is awarded near the end of Act 1, after you've helped rebuild the settlement and defended it from a major attack. Before reaching this point, you'll need to complete several objectives to strengthen Prosperity. Step 1: Recruit Two Specialists Find and recruit any two specialists who can help improve the settlement. Several become available during Act 1, including: - Grace Armstrong: Complete her mission Buzz Kill. - Selene: Complete her mission Deep Dive. - Bean: Complete his mission Losing Streak. - Nick Rye: Complete his mission The Great Escape. Each specialist provides valuable services or improvements at Prosperity. You only need to recruit two to meet this initial story requirement. Step 2: Purchase Three Prosperity Upgrades Collect Ethanol by capturing Highwaymen outposts and completing activities. Return to Prosperity and invest your resources in three infrastructure upgrades. You can access these upgrades through the Homebase menu or by interacting with the facilities directly. Step 3: Rescue Thomas Rush Continue the main storyline until you're sent to rescue Rush from an abandoned mine. Follow the mission objectives, defeat the Highwaymen guarding the area, and bring Rush back to Prosperity. After completing these requirements, you'll be able to upgrade Prosperity to Level 2. Step 4: Complete Under Siege Following the settlement upgrade, the Highwaymen launch a large attack against Prosperity. Defend the settlement by eliminating the incoming enemies and protecting its residents. Use cover, available weapons, and your Guns for Hire to survive the assault. Successfully complete Under Siege to unlock the trophy.

Tip

Prioritize upgrading the Workbench so you can craft stronger weapons as the campaign progresses. Liberating outposts is an excellent way to earn the Ethanol needed for Prosperity upgrades. Recruiting specialists early also opens additional equipment and gameplay options.

Warning

This trophy is tied to the main campaign and cannot be missed through normal story progression. However, it's a host-only trophy, so you must complete the relevant mission in your own campaign or while hosting a co-op session. Simply joining another player's Under Siege mission won't award you the trophy. Apparently, rebuilding a peaceful community involves collecting scrap metal, rescuing specialists, and surviving a massive armed assault. Prosperity's homeowners association must be exhausted.

Trophy: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Scavenge an Outpost. You can always reclaim it. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Scavenge a liberated Highwaymen outpost. Outposts are enemy-controlled locations scattered throughout Hope County. Capturing them rewards Ethanol, crafting materials, and useful fast-travel points. Unlike traditional Far Cry outposts, New Dawn allows you to voluntarily abandon a liberated outpost in exchange for additional Ethanol. Doing so lets the Highwaymen reclaim the location and strengthen its defenses, creating a more difficult version of the outpost that you can capture again. To unlock the trophy: Locate any Highwaymen outpost on your map. Travel to the location and eliminate every enemy guarding it. Wait for the liberation notification confirming that the outpost is under your control. Open the map and highlight the liberated outpost. Press Triangle to scavenge it, or interact with the scavenging workbench located inside the outpost. Confirm that you want to abandon the outpost in exchange for Ethanol. The Highwaymen will reclaim the location, and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Scavenging outposts is essential for the Platinum because you'll eventually need to liberate all 10 outposts on Rank III difficulty for All Your Bases. Each outpost progresses through three ranks: Rank I: The original outpost encounter. Rank II: Available after scavenging the outpost once. Rank III: Available after scavenging the outpost a second time. Liberating higher-ranked outposts rewards more Ethanol, which you can invest in Prosperity's facilities. Try to disable alarms before capturing outposts to earn additional rewards.

Warning

Scavenging an outpost removes it from your control, so you'll temporarily lose its fast-travel point and associated facilities. The next takeover will also be more difficult because the Highwaymen return with stronger soldiers and improved defenses. This trophy is host-only, so scavenge an outpost in your own campaign. Don't worry about permanently losing the location. You can reclaim scavenged outposts as many times as needed. The Captain has discovered a remarkable economic strategy: liberate an outpost, voluntarily hand it back to criminals, and then liberate it again for more resources. Hope County's economy is officially built on recycling bad decisions.

Trophy: Return to Eden

Bring the Father back to New Eden. Host only.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the main story mission Joseph's Secret during Act 2. After defending Prosperity against the Highwaymen, the Captain begins searching for additional allies who can help defeat Mickey and Lou. This leads you toward New Eden, a secluded community formed by the surviving followers of Eden's Gate from Far Cry 5. The residents of New Eden remain deeply connected to the teachings of Joseph Seed, also known as the Father. As you progress through Act 2, you'll need to earn the community's trust and complete several missions involving its members. You'll eventually meet Ethan, Joseph Seed's son, who directs you toward the northern wilderness to investigate his father's whereabouts. Continue following the main story until you begin Joseph's Secret. During this mission, you'll travel into Joseph's isolated sanctuary and confront the unusual circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Complete the mission objectives and return Joseph Seed to New Eden. The trophy unlocks when the mission is completed.

Tip

Joseph's Secret is an important turning point because it unlocks access to several powerful Eden's Gift abilities. These include: Wrath: Temporarily increases melee damage and resistance. Leap of Faith: Allows you to perform a second jump while airborne. Ghost: Makes it harder for enemies to detect you. These abilities are essential for several trophies, including Anger Management, Hey Father, Watch This, and Springboard. Save some perk points before finishing Joseph's Secret so you can begin unlocking these abilities immediately.

Warning

Return to Eden is story-related and cannot be missed during normal campaign progression. It's also a host-only trophy, so make sure you're progressing through the mission in your own game. Some of the newly unlocked Eden's Gift abilities change how melee attacks and takedowns behave. If possible, complete Get to the Point before finishing Joseph's Secret, since obtaining a conventional bayonet finishing blow can become less predictable afterward. Joseph Seed survived the apocalypse and somehow ended up with an entirely new collection of supernatural abilities. Apparently, retirement wasn't part of the Father's plan.

Trophy: The End of Eden

Decide the fate of the Father. Host only.

Type: Gold

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the final story mission, Ethan's Soul, and decide the fate of Joseph Seed. This mission takes place at the end of Act 3, following your confrontation with Mickey and Lou during Problem Solver. You'll travel into the northern wilderness to deal with the consequences of Ethan's actions at Joseph's sanctuary. Warning: The following section contains spoilers for the final story mission. During Ethan's Soul, you'll encounter Ethan after he consumes one of the sacred apples from Joseph's tree. The fruit transforms Ethan into a powerful, monstrous creature, forcing you into one final boss fight. Step 1: Prepare for the Fight Before starting the mission, equip your strongest available weapons. Elite weapons are recommended because Ethan has a large health pool and can inflict considerable damage. Bring plenty of ammunition and medkits. Step 2: Defeat Ethan Ethan has several dangerous attacks, including powerful melee strikes and charges that can knock you down. He can also throw rocks that create damaging areas around the arena, slowing your movement and draining your health. Keep moving and maintain your distance whenever possible. Use powerful firearms to damage him while avoiding his attacks. If you're running low on ammunition or healing supplies, look for supply crates positioned around the edges of the arena. Continue attacking until Ethan is defeated. Step 3: Decide Joseph Seed's Fate After defeating Ethan, Joseph sets the sacred tree on fire and asks you to kill him. You can either grant his request or leave him alive. Both choices lead to the conclusion of the story, so choose whichever ending you prefer. Return to Prosperity and complete the final story sequence to unlock the trophy.

Tip

Upgrade Prosperity's Workbench before attempting the final mission so you can craft Elite weapons. A powerful light machine gun or assault rifle is particularly useful against Ethan because you can deal consistent damage while moving. Remember to use medkits and keep your distance whenever Ethan begins charging.

Warning

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed through normal campaign progression. It's also a host-only trophy, meaning you must complete the mission in your own campaign or while hosting a cooperative session. Your decision regarding Joseph Seed doesn't affect the Platinum. Either choice satisfies the trophy requirement. Apparently, surviving a nuclear apocalypse wasn't enough punishment for Joseph Seed. Now his family has decided to make the Captain's final assignment considerably more complicated.

Trophy: The Meaning of Prosperity

Help Carmina get back to her mother in Prosperity. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the prologue and reach the settlement of Prosperity with Carmina Rye. Far Cry New Dawn begins 17 years after the nuclear events of Far Cry 5. You play as the Captain, a member of Thomas Rush's security team, traveling aboard an armored train to help rebuild settlements across the country. Unfortunately, your arrival in Hope County doesn't go according to plan. The train is attacked by the Highwaymen, a ruthless group of raiders led by twin sisters Mickey and Lou. After escaping the ambush, you'll meet Carmina Rye, the daughter of Nick and Kim Rye. Carmina explains the situation in Hope County and asks for your help reaching Prosperity, the settlement her family has been working to rebuild. Follow Carmina through the introductory missions as the game introduces its basic mechanics, including: - Movement and exploration. - Stealth and takedowns. - Crafting equipment and healing supplies. - Combat against Highwaymen soldiers. - Gathering resources from the environment. Continue following the mission objectives until you successfully reach Prosperity. The trophy unlocks at the end of the prologue when Carmina returns to her mother.

Tip

Take your time during the introduction to collect plants, ammunition, and crafting materials. These supplies will become useful when you begin upgrading equipment and crafting weapons. You don't need to complete any optional activities for this trophy.

Warning

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed through normal progression. If you're playing cooperatively later, remember that story progression and many campaign trophies are tied to the host's save. Hope County has survived a nuclear apocalypse, but apparently nobody thought to warn the newcomers that arriving by train might attract a small army of heavily armed criminals.

Trophy: The Ryeunion

Reunite Nick Rye with Carmina and Kim. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the specialist mission The Great Escape and reunite Nick Rye with his wife Kim and daughter Carmina. Nick Rye is a returning character from Far Cry 5 and one of the specialists who can be recruited to Prosperity. During Act 1, you'll learn that Nick has been captured by the Highwaymen. Travel to his marked location to begin The Great Escape. Step 1: Rescue Nick Rye Approach the area where Nick is being held prisoner. Identify the Highwaymen guarding him and eliminate them. Once the immediate threat has been removed, free Nick and speak with him. He'll explain that he has a vehicle hidden nearby that can help you escape. Step 2: Locate Nick's Plane Follow Nick to the location of his aircraft. Unfortunately, his plane has lost its wings during the years following the nuclear apocalypse. Despite this fairly significant aviation-related problem, Nick insists that the aircraft is still useful. You'll need to pilot the wingless plane across the water. Step 3: Escape With the Plane Enter the aircraft and follow the mission markers through the waterways. The plane handles more like a motorboat than an actual aircraft, so keep it moving along the water and avoid obstacles. Use its mounted weapon to deal with Highwaymen attempting to stop your escape. Continue following the marked route until you've reached your destination. Step 4: Reunite the Rye Family Successfully complete the escape and return Nick to Prosperity. Nick will reunite with Kim and Carmina, completing The Great Escape. The trophy unlocks after the mission concludes.

Tip

Completing this mission unlocks Carmina (The Plane), Nick's unusual wingless aircraft. You'll need this vehicle later for Fly, You Fools!, which requires briefly launching the plane into the air. Nick is also one of the specialists available during Act 1, so recruiting him contributes toward the early campaign requirements.

Warning

You must complete The Great Escape and reunite Nick with his family to unlock the trophy. Simply rescuing Nick from captivity isn't enough. This is a host-only trophy, so complete the recruitment mission in your own campaign. Nick Rye has survived the nuclear apocalypse, enemy captivity, and the loss of his aircraft's wings. Somehow, the last problem hasn't affected his confidence as a pilot.

Trophy: Weaponsmith

Craft 3 weapons. They don't need to look good, they just need to get the job done!

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Craft three weapons using workbenches throughout Hope County. Weapons in Far Cry New Dawn are created using scavenged materials rather than purchased with ordinary currency. You'll find crafting resources while exploring buildings, completing missions, liberating outposts, and looting supply containers. Weapons are divided into four ranks: Rank I: Basic weapons available early in the campaign. Rank II: Improved weapons with better damage and equipment. Rank III: Powerful weapons designed for tougher enemies. Elite: The strongest weapons available through crafting. For Weaponsmith, you only need to craft three weapons. They can belong to any available rank. Recommended Method: Craft Three Rank I Weapons Rank I weapons are the cheapest options, making them ideal for unlocking this trophy early. To begin: Complete the prologue and reach Prosperity. Locate the Workbench inside the settlement. Interact with the Workbench to open the weapon crafting menu. Select an affordable Rank I weapon. Check that you have the necessary crafting materials. Craft the weapon. Repeat until you've crafted three weapons. Rank I weapons generally require common materials such as Components, Duct Tape, and Gears. You can find these supplies throughout Hope County. The trophy unlocks after crafting your third qualifying weapon.

Tip

Don't worry about purchasing expensive upgrades specifically for this trophy. Three inexpensive Rank I weapons are enough. However, you'll eventually need to upgrade the Workbench to Level 3 to craft Elite weapons for Legend Has It. Crafting stronger weapons as you progress also makes the campaign and Rank III challenges significantly easier.

Warning

Finding weapons in the environment doesn't count toward Weaponsmith. You must personally craft three weapons using a Workbench. You don't need to craft three different weapon ranks or any specific weapon type. Apparently, the Captain has discovered that duct tape, rusty gears, and random scraps of metal can be assembled into perfectly functional firearms. Modern manufacturing has officially been replaced by enthusiasm.

Trophy: White Gold

Commandeer an Ethanol tanker and bring it back to one of your outposts.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Hijack a Highwaymen Ethanol tanker and deliver it to a liberated outpost or Prosperity. Ethanol is one of the most valuable resources in Far Cry New Dawn because it's used to upgrade Prosperity's facilities. The Highwaymen frequently transport Ethanol around Hope County using large tanker trucks. These vehicles occasionally appear while exploring roads and are often escorted by additional Highwaymen. To unlock the trophy: Liberate an outpost so you have a nearby delivery destination. Travel along surrounding roads until you encounter an Ethanol tanker. Approach the tanker carefully and eliminate its driver. Avoid shooting the tanker itself, as excessive damage can cause it to explode. Enter the driver's seat. Drive the tanker to a liberated outpost or Prosperity. Park inside the marked delivery area to complete the delivery. The trophy unlocks after successfully delivering the tanker. Recommended Method: Wait Near an Outpost The easiest approach is to position yourself along a road close to a liberated outpost. Wait for an Ethanol tanker to pass through the area. Eliminate the driver, take control of the vehicle, and drive the short distance to the outpost. This reduces the risk of destroying the tanker during a long journey.

Tip

Use a precise weapon to eliminate the driver without damaging the truck. A suppressed firearm can help you deal with escorts before approaching the tanker. Delivering Ethanol tankers also provides useful resources for Prosperity upgrades, so they're worth capturing whenever you encounter them.

Warning

You must successfully deliver the tanker. Simply stealing it won't unlock the trophy. Avoid explosives, mounted weapons, and reckless driving because the tanker can be destroyed. The vehicle must reach a valid delivery location while still intact. Apparently, Hope County's most valuable commodity is fuel. Naturally, the Highwaymen have chosen to transport it in enormous, highly explosive vehicles with minimal security.

Trophy: Wiki-Bean-ia in Business

Help Bean get back his business plan so he can set up his intel network in Prosperity. Host only.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Complete the specialist mission Losing Streak and recruit Bean to Prosperity. Bean is an information specialist who operates Wiki-Bean-ia, an intelligence network dedicated to documenting locations and useful information throughout Hope County. You can recruit him during Act 1. Travel to Bean's location and speak with him to begin Losing Streak. Bean explains that his business plan has been stolen and asks you to help retrieve it. Step 1: Find Bean's Scout Follow the mission marker to locate one of Bean's scouts. The scout is being threatened by Highwaymen, so eliminate the enemies and secure the area. Once the scout is safe, speak with him to continue the mission. Step 2: Follow the Scout The scout will lead you through the surrounding area. Stay close and follow him as he travels toward the location of Bean's missing business plan. You may need to move through hostile territory, so remain alert for additional Highwaymen. Step 3: Recover the Business Plan After following the scout, you'll receive information about the location of the missing documents. Travel to the marked stash and recover Bean's business plan. Return the documents to Bean to complete the mission. He'll agree to establish his intelligence network at Prosperity, and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

Recruit Bean early because his intelligence network is useful for discovering activities and locations throughout Hope County. His scouts can also provide information about Treasure Hunts, outposts, and other points of interest. While exploring, remember to speak with 10 Wiki-Bean-ia scouts for Honorary Scout.

Warning

Don't confuse Wiki-Bean-ia in Business with Honorary Scout. Recruiting Bean unlocks this trophy, but Honorary Scout separately requires gathering information from 10 scouts. Honorary Scout is potentially missable, so speak to scouts whenever you encounter them and avoid buying every Cartography map before finishing that requirement. This trophy is also host-only. Apparently, even after the apocalypse, someone has decided to launch a technology startup. Bean clearly believes the end of civilization is an excellent opportunity for market expansion.

Loot a Highwaymen Supply Drop. Be careful, it won't be unguarded!

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Loot one Highwaymen Supply Drop. Supply Drops are random events that occur while exploring Hope County. They contain valuable crafting materials and resources, making them useful throughout your adventure. While traveling around the map, you may receive a notification saying Supply Drop Located. A plane will fly overhead and drop a supply container somewhere in the surrounding area. The container releases distinctive yellow smoke, making it easier to locate. To unlock the trophy: Explore Hope County until a Supply Drop event appears. Look toward the sky or surrounding landscape to identify the yellow smoke. Travel to the Supply Drop location. Eliminate any Highwaymen guarding the container. Approach the crate and hold Square to secure its contents. Successfully looting one Supply Drop unlocks the trophy.

Tip

If you reach the container immediately after it lands, you may be able to collect the supplies before the Highwaymen arrive. Securing the crate takes several seconds, so clear nearby enemies if they're already attacking. Supply Drops are a useful source of crafting materials, especially during the early game when resources are limited.

Warning

Supply Drops appear randomly rather than at permanently marked locations. You must interact with the container and successfully secure its supplies. Simply reaching the location doesn't count. If the Highwaymen reach the drop before you, you'll need to fight them for it. Apparently, the post-apocalyptic delivery service has adopted an unusual business model: drop valuable supplies into the wilderness and let everyone fight over them.
