Forza Horizon 5 Trophy Guide

Platinum

Trophy: Horizon Superstar

Collect all Forza Horizon 5 Trophies

Type: Platinum

How to Unlock

Earn all 53 other base-game trophies in Forza Horizon 5 to unlock the Platinum. You'll need to reach the Horizon Hall of Fame, win 80 different races, earn 294 PR Stunt stars, complete major collectible challenges, and participate in several online multiplayer modes. Pay particular attention to the Festival Playlist trophies, especially Min, Meet Max, which requires completing every non-expansion event across a four-week Series. Missing a required activity can force you to start again with another Series. The toughest challenge for most players will be Chicken Dinner, which requires winning an entire game of The Eliminator against other players. Once you've earned every other base-game trophy, Horizon Superstar unlocks automatically. The Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions are not required.

Tip

Start tracking seasonal activities immediately and attempt The Eliminator throughout your playthrough. Both can take longer than expected, so don't leave them until everything else is finished.

Warning

Online access is required for several trophies, and some Festival Playlist challenges are only available during limited periods. Plan around those deadlines to avoid unnecessary delays.

Trophy: Dust in the Lens

Take a photo featuring the Gran Telescopio and a dust storm

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

How to Unlock

Take a photograph featuring the Gran Telescopio observatory and an active dust storm. The Gran Telescopio is located near the summit of La Gran Caldera, the large volcano in northwestern Mexico. Dust storms occur during Spring, also known as the Hot Season. Wait until Spring is active in the Festival Playlist, then watch for dust storms forming across the desert. When a dust storm appears, travel to the Gran Telescopio and enter Photo Mode. Position the camera so the observatory and the dust storm are both visible in the photograph. Capture both elements together to unlock Dust in the Lens.

Tip

Use fast travel to reach the observatory quickly when you notice an approaching dust storm. Weather conditions can change, so having the location discovered beforehand saves valuable time. Spring returns during each four-week Festival Playlist cycle. If you miss an opportunity, you'll have another chance when the season returns.

Warning

Dust storms are weather-dependent and only appear during the appropriate season. The photograph must capture the observatory and an active dust storm together. This trophy is time-sensitive rather than permanently missable. If Spring ends before you succeed, you'll need to wait for another suitable opportunity.

Trophy: Min, Meet Max

Complete all non-Expansion Events in a Festival Playlist Series

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

How to Unlock

Complete every required non-expansion activity across an entire four-week Festival Playlist Series. The Festival Playlist changes every week, rotating through Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Each season lasts seven real-world days, and a complete Series lasts four weeks. You'll need access to the Horizon Hall of Fame before attempting this trophy. Start at the beginning of a new Series and complete every required activity throughout all four seasons. These include Weekly and Daily Forzathon Challenges, The Trial, Seasonal Championships, PR Stunts, EventLab events, Treasure Hunts, Photo Challenges, and relevant multiplayer activities. Don't forget the Monthly Rivals challenges, which remain available across the Series. Expansion-specific activities from Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure are not required. Continue completing every eligible activity until the four-week Series is finished to unlock Min, Meet Max.

Tip

Make this trophy your highest priority once you've reached the Hall of Fame. Check the Festival Playlist daily and finish time-limited challenges before their deadlines. Daily Forzathon Challenges remain available for a limited period after appearing, but completing them promptly is the safest approach.

Warning

Missing even one required activity can prevent the trophy from unlocking for that Series, forcing you to begin again during a future four-week rotation. Some older guides describe offline date-changing methods, but these aren't guaranteed to work with current updates. Following the active Festival Playlist is the most reliable approach.

Trophy: Treasure Hunter

Find all Treasure Chests in a Festival Playlist Series

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

How to Unlock

Find and smash every Treasure Chest featured in a single four-week Festival Playlist Series. Each Series contains four weekly seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Treasure Hunt challenges appear in the Festival Playlist when scheduled, although not every week necessarily includes one. Open the Festival Playlist and check for a Treasure Hunt. Each challenge begins with a clue describing an activity you must complete, such as performing a particular stunt or using a specific vehicle. Once you've solved the clue, a search area appears on your world map. Travel there, locate the Treasure Chest, and drive into it to collect the reward. Repeat this for every Treasure Hunt offered during the same Series. Treasure Hunter unlocks once all required chests have been collected.

Tip

Check the Festival Playlist every Thursday when the weekly season changes. Complete Treasure Hunts as soon as they become available so you don't accidentally miss one. You can combine this trophy with Min, Meet Max, which requires completing all non-expansion Festival Playlist activities throughout an entire Series.

Warning

Missing a Treasure Chest before its seasonal deadline means you'll need to attempt the trophy during another Series. Older guides describe offline date-changing methods, but these aren't guaranteed to work after game updates. Following the active Festival Playlist is the safest approach.

Trophy: A Heart of Gold

Send another player a Gift Drop

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Send another player a Gift Drop. Gift Drops allow you to give one of your cars to another Forza Horizon 5 player. The feature becomes available after progressing through the introduction and discovering your first Barn Find. Open the pause menu and select Gift Drop, or visit a discovered Barn Find location. Choose a car from your garage, select a recipient group, and confirm the gift. You can send the car to new players, returning players, or other eligible drivers. Once the Gift Drop is successfully sent, A Heart of Gold unlocks.

Tip

Gift a cheap or duplicate car that you don't need. You can purchase an inexpensive vehicle from the Autoshow specifically for this trophy if you'd rather keep your existing collection.

Warning

Gift Drops permanently transfer the selected car out of your garage. Make sure you're happy to give it away before confirming, especially if it's a rare or valuable vehicle.

Trophy: Chicken Dinner

Win your first game of The Eliminator

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Win an entire game of The Eliminator. The Eliminator is Forza Horizon 5's online battle royale mode, where players compete to survive a shrinking arena before racing to a final destination. You'll begin in a low-level car and must improve your chances by collecting better vehicles or winning head-to-head races. Look for purple smoke rising from the landscape, which marks Car Drops containing replacement vehicles. Prioritize a fast car with strong off-road handling, such as the Ariel Nomad or a capable Hoonigan rally car. You can challenge nearby opponents by honking your horn with R3. Winning a head-to-head race lets you upgrade your vehicle or take your opponent's car, while losing eliminates you from the match. As the arena shrinks, remain inside the safe zone and prepare for the final race. When the last competitors remain, everyone must race toward a randomly selected destination. Reach the final finish line before every other player to win The Eliminator and unlock Chicken Dinner.

Tip

Getting a strong vehicle early is more valuable than constantly challenging opponents. Once you have a competitive off-road car, avoid unnecessary head-to-head races and focus on surviving until the final stage. Before the final race, position yourself near the edge of the shrinking arena and anticipate where the destination might appear. When the race begins, take the most direct practical route, cutting across open terrain when possible. Don't get discouraged by early losses. This is widely considered the hardest trophy in the game because it requires driving skill, map knowledge, favorable car drops, and some luck.

Warning

You must win the entire Eliminator match. Surviving until the final race or finishing second doesn't count. Avoid relying entirely on road routes during the final race. Off-road shortcuts are often faster, but dense forests, steep cliffs, and deep water can ruin an otherwise excellent run.

Trophy: Front Runner

Finish 5 Horizon Tour Race Events ahead of all Drivatars

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Finish five Horizon Tour races ahead of every AI-controlled Drivatar. Horizon Tour is a cooperative online racing mode where your team of real players competes against a team of Drivatars. Travel to the Horizon Tour location near the main Horizon Festival México site or access the mode through the Online menu. Join an available Tour and select a vehicle that meets its event restrictions. During each race, your goal is to finish ahead of every opposing Drivatar. You don't need to finish ahead of your human teammates. You only need to beat all the AI opponents. Repeat this across five qualifying Horizon Tour races to unlock Front Runner.

Tip

Use a properly tuned vehicle suited to the event type and performance class. The Drivatars in Horizon Tour are generally manageable, so focus on clean driving and maintaining your position ahead of the AI team. You'll also earn Tourist Attraction by completing your first Horizon Tour event.

Warning

Your team winning the overall Tour isn't enough by itself. You must personally finish ahead of every Drivatar in five individual races. Finishing behind even one AI opponent won't count that race toward your trophy progress.

Trophy: Good Carma

Give another player some Kudos to show your appreciation

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Give another player Kudos to show your appreciation. Kudos are awarded when you like or positively rate another player's shared creations, such as EventLab events, vehicle liveries, tuning setups, or Super7 challenge cards. An easy method is to enter a community-created EventLab event through Creative Hub. Complete the event and select the Like option when prompted to rate the creator's work. Giving Kudos to another player unlocks Good Carma. You can also earn this while working toward Jackpot, which requires completing seven Super7 challenge cards in a single run.

Tip

Complete a short EventLab event for Show Me Your Moves!, then give the creator a Like afterward. This lets you earn both trophies with minimal extra effort.

Warning

Simply downloading or using another player's creation isn't enough. You must actually give Kudos through the available Like or appreciation prompt.

Win 3 Rivals Events in 3 different PI Classes while driving the same car

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Win three Rivals Events in three different Performance Index (PI) classes while driving the same car. Rivals is a time-trial mode where you compete against other players' recorded lap times. You'll need a vehicle that can be upgraded or tuned into at least three different PI classes. The 2021 Ford Bronco is a convenient choice because it's available early in the game and can be tuned for C, B, and A classes. Open the pause menu and navigate to Online, Rivals, Horizon Rivals, then Cross Country. Choose a short circuit and enter with your selected vehicle. Set a clean lap faster than your assigned rival's time to win the event. Afterward, return to your garage and change the car's tuning setup to another PI class. Repeat the process until you've won Rivals Events in three different classes using the same vehicle to unlock the trophy.

Tip

For the 2021 Ford Bronco, the following community tuning share codes are useful: C Class — 172 801 777, B Class — 101 382 242, and A Class — 756 389 231. Choose short circuits to save time, and select manageable rival times rather than trying to beat the fastest leaderboard entries.

Warning

All three victories must use the same car model in three different PI classes. Switching to a different vehicle won't satisfy the requirement. Avoid collisions, missed checkpoints, and Rewind during your attempt, as these can invalidate your lap time.

Participate in a Horizon Arcade Event

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Participate in a Horizon Arcade Event. Horizon Arcade is an online activity featuring cooperative challenges spread across the open world. Events appear on the map as large pink circles shortly before they begin. Open your map and look for an upcoming Horizon Arcade location. Drive into the marked circle before the event starts and remain inside the area until it begins. Once you're participating in the event, complete the required activity to unlock Icebreaker. Horizon Arcade features five themes: Air, Speed, Drift, Chaos, and Wreckage. Each theme has different objectives, such as drifting, jumping, or destroying objects.

Tip

Try completing all three rounds whenever possible. You'll eventually need to finish Round Three in all five themes for Unlimited Prowess!, so every completed theme saves time later. Horizon Arcade can also be completed solo, although having other players participating may make some challenges easier.

Warning

Make sure you enter the pink event circle before the countdown ends. Simply driving near the location without joining the event won't count.

Trophy: Jackpot

Fully complete a run of Super7

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Complete all seven challenge cards in a single Super7 run. Super7 is a community-created challenge mode featuring seven different activities, such as races, jumps, speed challenges, and other driving objectives. To begin, find the Super7 icon on your world map and enter the mode. You'll receive a challenge card created by another player. Complete the card's objective to advance to the next challenge. Continue until you've successfully completed all seven cards in the run. The challenges are generally short and straightforward, making this one of the easier online trophies. Once you've completed the seventh challenge, Jackpot unlocks.

Tip

If a challenge is particularly difficult or poorly designed, use the available option to replace it with another card rather than wasting time on repeated attempts. You can also give a creator Kudos after completing a challenge to work toward Good Carma.

Warning

You must successfully complete a full seven-card Super7 run. Completing individual challenge cards outside the run doesn't count toward Jackpot.

Trophy: Show Me Your Moves!

Play any EventLab Event created by another player

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Play an EventLab event created by another player. EventLab allows players to create and share custom races and challenges. To find one, open the pause menu and navigate to Creative Hub, then EventLab and Event Blueprints. Browse the community-created events or use the search function to find a suitable blueprint. Select an event made by another player, enter it, and complete the activity to unlock Show Me Your Moves! You don't need to win a difficult race or achieve a particular score. A short community-created event is enough.

Tip

Combine this trophy with Good Carma by giving the creator Kudos after completing their event. Community EventLab blueprints can also help with other trophies, including photography challenges and certain racing objectives.

Warning

Make sure the event was created by another player. Playing an official race or one of your own EventLab creations won't satisfy the trophy requirement.

Trophy: Tourist Attraction

Complete your first Horizon Tour Race Event

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Complete your first Horizon Tour Race Event. Horizon Tour is a cooperative online racing mode where you team up with other players to compete against AI-controlled Drivatars. Travel to the Horizon Tour location near the main Horizon Festival México site, or select Horizon Tour through the Online menu. Join an available Tour and choose a suitable car. You can also rent a vehicle if you don't own one that meets the event restrictions. Participate in the races and finish your first Horizon Tour event to unlock Tourist Attraction. You don't need to finish in first place.

Tip

Use these races to practice for Front Runner, which requires finishing five Horizon Tour races ahead of every Drivatar. A well-tuned car that matches the event's restrictions will make both trophies easier.

Warning

Horizon Tour requires online matchmaking. Ordinary single-player races against Drivatars don't count toward this trophy.

Trophy: Unlimited Prowess!

Complete Round Three in all 5 Themes of Horizon Arcade

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Complete Round Three in all five Horizon Arcade themes. Horizon Arcade is a series of cooperative driving challenges that appear periodically across Mexico. Each event consists of three rounds, with objectives based on its theme. The five required themes are Air, Speed, Drift, Chaos, and Wreckage. Open the world map and look for the large pink Horizon Arcade circles. Travel into the marked area before the countdown ends to join an event. Once the activity begins, complete the objectives for Round One and Round Two, then successfully finish Round Three. Repeat this process for all five themes to unlock Unlimited Prowess! You can participate with other players or attempt events solo, although having additional drivers may help with tougher objectives.

Tip

Use a vehicle suited to the event. Drift cars are ideal for Drift challenges, fast road cars work well for Speed, and capable off-road vehicles are useful for Air. The Air theme can be particularly challenging, so don't hesitate to try another event if your current vehicle isn't suitable. You'll also earn Icebreaker simply by participating in your first Horizon Arcade event.

Warning

You must successfully complete the third round in each of the five themes. Participating in an event or finishing only the first two rounds won't count. Keep track of which themes you've completed so you don't waste time repeating the same type of event.

Win any Event in Horizon Open

Type: Bronze

Category: Online

How to Unlock

Win an event in Horizon Open against other players. Horizon Open is Forza Horizon 5's competitive online multiplayer mode, featuring racing and other driving activities against real players. Open the pause menu, navigate to Online, and select Horizon Open. Choose an available event type, such as Open Racing, and join matchmaking. For the most straightforward approach, enter Open Racing and compete in a race against other players. Finish in first place in a qualifying race to unlock You're the Champion. You don't need to win an entire multiplayer championship. Winning a single qualifying event is enough.

Tip

Choose an event type you're comfortable with and use a well-tuned car suited to its racing class. Learning the track and maintaining consistent cornering speed are often more valuable than having the fastest car on paper. Practice against Drivatars before entering multiplayer if you're struggling with unfamiliar routes.

Warning

Single-player races and ordinary Rivals time trials don't count. You must win a qualifying Horizon Open event against real players. Finishing on the podium isn't enough. You need an outright event victory.

Trophy: Better Than New

Restore 14 Barn Finds in México

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Find and fully restore all 14 Barn Find vehicles throughout Mexico. Barn Finds are abandoned classic cars hidden in barns across the open world. As you progress through Horizon Adventure, you'll receive Barn Find rumors that reveal purple search areas on your map. Travel to each marked area and search for a barn with large wooden doors. Approach the barn to trigger a discovery scene and add the vehicle to your restoration collection. After discovering a car, you'll need to wait for its restoration to finish. You can check its progress through the Barn Finds menu in your garage. Continue unlocking Barn Find rumors, locating the hidden vehicles, and waiting for their restorations until all 14 cars have been fully restored. Better Than New unlocks once the final restoration is complete.

Tip

Investigate Barn Find rumors as soon as they appear. Restoration happens over time, so finding the vehicles early allows the process to continue while you're working on other trophies. Some rare vehicles, particularly the Ferrari 250 GTO, can take a substantial amount of time to restore.

Warning

Discovering all 14 barns isn't enough. Every vehicle must finish its restoration before the trophy unlocks. Some Barn Find rumors are tied to progression and specific activities, so keep completing Horizon Adventure content if a rumor hasn't appeared yet.

Find and smash all 250 Bonus Boards in México

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Find and smash all 250 Bonus Boards scattered throughout Mexico. There are two types of Bonus Boards: 200 XP Boards and 50 Fast Travel Boards. Both types count toward the trophy, and you must destroy every one. Bonus Boards appear on your world map as you discover them while exploring. Drive directly into each board to smash it and register your progress. Most are located beside roads, around buildings, or along dirt tracks. Others are hidden on rooftops, elevated structures, or difficult-to-reach ledges that require precise jumps. Continue exploring and collecting boards until all 250 have been destroyed to unlock Complete Collection.

Tip

Prioritize the 50 Fast Travel Boards early. Each one reduces the cost of fast travel by 200 credits, making travel completely free once you've collected them all. For difficult rooftop boards, use a fast car with good acceleration and look for nearby hills or ramps. Rewind can help you adjust your approach without repeatedly driving back to the starting point.

Warning

You need all 250 boards, including both XP and Fast Travel Boards. Collecting only one type isn't enough. Some boards require carefully positioned jumps, so don't assume a collectible is inaccessible just because you can't reach it directly from the road.

Trophy: Fit to Print

Take 50 photos of Legendary cars for Horizon Promo

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Photograph 50 different Legendary cars for Horizon Promo. First, unlock Horizon Promo by purchasing the Lugar Tranquilo Player House for 700,000 credits after completing the Tulum Expedition. Legendary cars are identified by their rarity in the vehicle information. You don't need to own these cars, so photographing vehicles driven by other players or Drivatars also counts. Enter Photo Mode using Up on the D-pad, position the camera to capture the vehicle, and press R1 to take a Horizon Promo photograph. Continue photographing unique Legendary cars until you've registered 50 different models to unlock Fit to Print.

Tip

Community-created EventLab races are an excellent way to find multiple Legendary cars quickly. Try blueprint share codes 784 427 961 and 984 779 916, which are designed to help with Horizon Promo photography. You can photograph several cars in the same scene, making this much faster than purchasing 50 Legendary vehicles yourself.

Warning

Photographing the same Legendary car model repeatedly doesn't increase your total. You need 50 different Legendary vehicles registered in Horizon Promo.

Trophy: Mogul

Purchase all 7 Player Houses

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Purchase all seven Player Houses throughout Mexico. Player Houses become available as you progress through Horizon Adventure and unlock additional Festival Outposts. They provide useful benefits such as vehicle customization, fast travel, and Wheelspin rewards. The seven required properties are: 1. Casa Bella — Free, unlocked during the introduction. 2. La Cabaña — 150,000 credits. 3. Buena Esperanza — 700,000 credits. 4. Lugar Tranquilo — 700,000 credits. 5. La Casa Solariega — 1,500,000 credits. 6. Buenas Vistas — 2,000,000 credits. 7. Hotel Castillo — 5,000,000 credits. The total cost is 10,050,000 credits without paid edition bonuses. Complete Horizon Adventure Expeditions to reveal additional properties, then purchase each house from its map location. Once you own all seven houses, Mogul unlocks.

Tip

Prioritize Buenas Vistas because it unlocks the ability to fast travel to any road. Combine this with all 50 Fast Travel Boards to make traveling around Mexico much easier and completely free. Hotel Castillo provides a daily Wheelspin, while Lugar Tranquilo unlocks Horizon Promo, which is required for Album Cover and Fit to Print. Save credits throughout your playthrough and take advantage of race rewards, Wheelspins, and the Auction House to reduce the grind.

Warning

Unlocking a house on the map doesn't mean you own it. You must purchase every property, except Casa Bella, which is free. Some paid game editions include house ownership benefits that reduce the total cost, but all seven properties must still be owned for the trophy.

Trophy: Ride and Seek

Discover and drive every road in México

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Discover and drive all 578 roads throughout Mexico. Every road you travel along becomes marked as discovered on your world map. Undiscovered roads appear gray, while explored roads change color depending on their surface type. You'll naturally discover hundreds of roads while completing races, Horizon Adventures, PR Stunts, and other activities, so save the final cleanup until later in your playthrough. Once you're ready, open the world map and press R1 to adjust the filters. Hide all events and activities so you can examine the road network without distracting icons. Look carefully for remaining gray sections, particularly short dirt paths, small road junctions, and the underground tunnels around Guanajuato. Drive along each undiscovered section until your road counter reaches 578 to unlock Ride and Seek.

Tip

Check the smaller dotted dirt roads first when searching for your final missing roads. These are particularly easy to overlook because they blend into the map. You can track your progress through the Discovery statistics.

Warning

Driving near a road isn't always enough to discover it. Make sure you actually travel along the unexplored section until the map updates.

Earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a collection of 25 or more cars

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

How to Unlock

Earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a collection containing at least 25 cars. Open the Car Collection menu and focus on a manufacturer with 25 or more vehicles. Chevrolet, Ford, Ferrari, and Porsche are suitable options, but Chevrolet is generally the most affordable. For Chevrolet, you'll need to collect the required 25 cars. Most can be purchased directly through the Autoshow or Car Collection for approximately 1.4 million credits in total. Two particularly useful vehicles are the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, obtained through a Barn Find, and the 1970 Chevrolet Corvette, which can be purchased from the Auction House. Once you've completed the required Chevrolet collection, open Car Collection and claim its Manufacturer Bonus to unlock the trophy.

Tip

Save this trophy until you've earned a reasonable amount of credits through races, Wheelspins, and other activities. Check the Auction House before purchasing expensive vehicles, as you may find cheaper listings. Completing this collection also satisfies Manufacturer Affinity if you haven't already earned it.

Warning

The Manufacturer Bonus must come from a collection containing at least 25 cars. Completing a smaller manufacturer's collection won't unlock this trophy. Some required vehicles may not be available directly from the Autoshow, so check Barn Finds and the Auction House before spending credits unnecessarily.

Trophy: Cactus Makes Perfect

Smash 500 cacti during México's Wet Season

Type: Bronze

Category: Grind

How to Unlock

Smash 500 cacti during Mexico's Wet Season. The Wet Season corresponds to Summer in the Festival Playlist's four-week seasonal rotation. Wait until Summer is active, then travel to an area with large groups of cacti. One convenient location is the desert surrounding the main Horizon Festival México site, particularly near the drag strip. Drive through the cacti to destroy them and continue until you've smashed 500 during the Wet Season. The trophy unlocks once you've reached the required total.

Tip

Use a fast off-road vehicle to drive through clusters of cacti without constantly losing speed. The open desert around the Horizon Festival is ideal because you can cover large areas quickly. Cacti also appear in some community-created EventLab events, which may help speed up the grind. However, the Wet Season requirement still needs to be satisfied.

Warning

Cacti destroyed outside the Wet Season don't count toward the trophy. Check the current season before beginning your grind. Summer lasts one real-world week before changing to Autumn, so complete the requirement while the correct season is active.

Trophy: Living Legend

Earn 294 stars from PR Stunts in México

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

How to Unlock

Earn a total of 294 stars from PR Stunts throughout Mexico. PR Stunts are driving challenges that award up to three stars based on your performance. They include Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Drift Zones, Danger Signs, and Trailblazers. Progress through Horizon Adventure to unlock additional PR Stunts, particularly those associated with the Horizon Rush Outpost. There are more than enough PR Stunts available to reach 294 stars, so you don't need to complete every challenge. For example, earning three stars on 98 different stunts would satisfy the requirement. Use vehicles suited to each activity. Fast cars with excellent acceleration work well for Speed Traps and Danger Signs, while dedicated drift builds are better for Drift Zones. Continue earning stars until your total reaches 294 to unlock Living Legend.

Tip

The Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution is an excellent all-round choice for many PR Stunts when properly tuned. Enable Rewind to correct mistakes during difficult approaches. For Drift Zones, disabling Traction Control and Stability Control can make maintaining long drifts easier.

Warning

You need 294 total stars, not 294 completed PR Stunts. Replaying a challenge you've already earned three stars on won't provide additional stars.

Win 80 different Race Events in México

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

How to Unlock

Win 80 different Race Events throughout Mexico. Forza Horizon 5 features more than 100 unique races across Road Racing, Dirt Racing, Cross Country Racing, Street Racing, and Drag Racing. You only need to win 80 different events, so there's no requirement to finish every race on the map. Progress through Horizon Adventure to unlock additional race disciplines and their events. Open the world map, select any available race, and finish in first place. Continue winning unique events until you've completed 80 different races to unlock the trophy. You can use whichever Drivatar difficulty and driving assists you're comfortable with. Online race victories can also contribute, although racing against AI opponents is generally more reliable.

Tip

Set the Drivatar difficulty to a comfortable level and enable Rewind to correct mistakes. A well-tuned car suited to each race type makes consistent victories much easier. Work toward this trophy while earning the 200,000 Accolade Points required for Hall of Famer. You'll naturally earn plenty of credits, experience, and Wheelspins along the way.

Warning

The 80 victories must come from different Race Events. Repeating a race you've already won won't increase your progress. Simply completing a race isn't enough. You must finish first for it to count.

Trophy: Seasoned Veteran

Complete a Festival Playlist activity in every season

Type: Bronze

Category: Grind

How to Unlock

Complete at least one Festival Playlist activity during each of Mexico's four seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. The Festival Playlist operates on a four-week Series cycle, with each season lasting seven real-world days. The available challenges change every week, giving you different opportunities to earn points and rewards. Open the Festival Playlist from the pause menu and complete at least one eligible activity during the current season. This can include a Seasonal Championship, PR Stunt, Photo Challenge, or another qualifying Playlist event. Repeat this during all four seasons to unlock Seasoned Veteran.

Tip

Complete one activity every week while working toward Min, Meet Max, which requires finishing all non-expansion Playlist events across an entire Series. Track your progress through the trophy counter and complete all four seasons within the same Series to avoid potential tracking issues.

Warning

Festival seasons change weekly. If you miss a season, you'll need to wait for it to return in a future Series. Regular races and free-roam activities don't count unless they're part of the Festival Playlist.

Trophy: A Forza Edition to my Collection

Earn a Forza Edition car from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Win a Forza Edition car from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin. Forza Edition cars are special versions of existing vehicles with unique bonuses, such as increased skill points or experience rewards. You'll earn Wheelspins naturally by leveling up, completing activities, and receiving certain rewards. Super Wheelspins provide three rewards at once, giving you additional opportunities to win a special vehicle. Open your available Wheelspins and continue using them until you receive a Forza Edition car. The trophy unlocks when the car is awarded through a spin. This trophy depends on luck, so there's no guaranteed number of Wheelspins required.

Tip

Smashing XP Bonus Boards helps you level up and earn more Wheelspins. Seasonal activities and the Forzathon Shop can also provide additional opportunities. The Hotel Castillo Player House awards a daily Wheelspin and is required for Mogul, making it a useful long-term investment.

Warning

The Forza Edition car must be won through a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin. Purchasing one from the Auction House or obtaining it through another reward method won't satisfy the trophy requirement.

Trophy: A Royal Affair

At sunrise, take a photo of your car with some monarch butterflies at Hotel Mirador Balderrama

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Take a photograph of your car with monarch butterflies at Hotel Mirador Balderrama during sunrise. The hotel is located in northwestern Mexico, near the Copper Canyon region. Travel to the hotel and look for the monarch butterflies flying around the rocks and vegetation near the property. Wait until sunrise, then position your car near the butterflies. Enter Photo Mode using Up on the D-pad and frame your car and the butterflies together. Take the photograph while the sunrise conditions are active to unlock A Royal Affair.

Tip

You can make this trophy considerably easier using a community-created EventLab blueprint designed for the challenge. Open Creative Hub, select EventLab, and search for share code 165 050 941. This event places you near the required location with suitable conditions. Use an off-road vehicle to navigate the uneven terrain around the hotel.

Warning

Your photograph must include both your car and the monarch butterflies at sunrise. Taking a picture at the correct hotel without the butterflies or during the wrong time of day won't count.

Take a photo of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE for Horizon Promo

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Take a Horizon Promo photograph of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE, the cover car of Forza Horizon 5. First, unlock Horizon Promo by purchasing the Lugar Tranquilo Player House for 700,000 credits after completing the Tulum Expedition. You don't need to own the Mercedes-AMG ONE. You can photograph another player's car or find one during a race. If you prefer, purchase the car from the Autoshow or Auction House. Once you've found the vehicle, enter Photo Mode using Up on the D-pad and take a photograph with R1. Make sure the car is clearly visible and registered by Horizon Promo to unlock Album Cover.

Tip

Community-created EventLab events can make this much easier. Search for an event featuring the Mercedes-AMG ONE or try blueprint share code 113 884 691. You can also combine this trophy with Fit to Print, since the Mercedes-AMG ONE is a Legendary car.

Warning

Simply taking a photograph before unlocking Horizon Promo may not register toward the trophy. Make sure you've purchased Lugar Tranquilo and activated the feature first.

Trophy: An Item Of Extreme Value

Discover and photograph the Golden Tlaloc Totem

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Discover and photograph the Golden Tlaloc Totem during the Tulum Expedition. First, earn enough Accolade Points to unlock a new Horizon Adventure chapter. Select Horizon Apex and begin the Tulum Expedition, which takes you to ancient ruins on Mexico's eastern coast. While exploring the ruins, look for the optional Accolade objective involving the Golden Tlaloc Totem. Follow its marked location and approach the golden statue. Enter Photo Mode using Up on the D-pad, position the camera so the Golden Tlaloc Totem is clearly visible, and take a photograph to unlock the trophy. You don't need to finish the entire Expedition before earning it.

Tip

The Tulum Expedition is an excellent opportunity to earn several trophies together, including Stunning Photography, New Tune, and No Stone Unturned. Complete the optional Accolades while exploring the ruins to avoid unnecessary backtracking later.

Warning

The Golden Tlaloc Totem is an optional Expedition objective, not part of the mandatory route. Don't leave the ruins without photographing it if you're aiming to complete all Expedition Accolades in one visit.

Trophy: Cover to Cover

Earn 3 stars on all chapters in a single Horizon Story

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Earn three stars in every chapter of any single Horizon Story. Horizon Stories are multi-chapter activities unlocked throughout Horizon Adventure. Each chapter awards up to three stars based on its objectives, such as finishing within a target time or reaching a required score. Choose one Horizon Story and complete every chapter with a three-star rating. You can replay chapters individually if you don't earn all three stars on your first attempt. Born Fast is a useful choice because you'll already need to complete its Tristan chapter for How to Race Friends and Influence People. Once every chapter in your chosen Horizon Story has three stars, Cover to Cover unlocks.

Tip

Use Rewind when available to correct driving mistakes, and take advantage of shortcuts during timed challenges. For Born Fast, remember that Charlie's Request requires winning the race for three stars, even though the narrative suggests otherwise.

Warning

You must earn three stars in every chapter of the same Horizon Story. Collecting three-star ratings across several different stories won't satisfy the requirement. Born Fast also requires Hall of Fame access to unlock its final chapter.

Trophy: First Love

Purchase your first car from the Autoshow

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Purchase your first car from the Autoshow. After unlocking Casa Bella, your first Player House, you'll gain access to the Autoshow. You can also access it from any Festival Outpost. Open the Autoshow, browse the available vehicles, and purchase any car using credits. The trophy unlocks as soon as the purchase is completed. You don't need an expensive sports car for this trophy. The 1983 Volkswagen Golf GTI is an affordable option at 20,000 credits, making it a good choice if you're saving money for other purchases.

Tip

Save your credits whenever possible. You'll eventually need to purchase all seven Player Houses for Mogul, which costs 10,050,000 credits without paid bonuses. If you own the Car Pass, claiming an eligible car through the Autoshow may also satisfy the purchase requirement.

Trophy: Ford of the Wings

Earn 3 Stars at the Eagle's Perch Danger Sign in a Ford Supervan 3

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Earn three stars at the Eagle's Perch Danger Sign while driving a Ford Supervan 3. First, obtain the 1993 Ford Supervan 3 from the Autoshow for approximately 500,000 credits or check the Auction House for a cheaper listing. Next, upgrade the vehicle for better speed and acceleration. The stock Supervan 3 may struggle to reach the required jumping distance. A recommended community tuning share code is 560 317 067. Open your world map and filter for Danger Signs to locate Eagle's Perch. Travel there in your Ford Supervan 3 and position yourself far enough from the ramp to build up speed. Accelerate toward the Danger Sign, hit the ramp cleanly, and travel far enough to earn three stars. The trophy unlocks once the successful jump registers.

Tip

Use a long run-up and approach the ramp as straight as possible to maintain speed. Enable Rewind so you can adjust your approach if you miss the required distance or land awkwardly.

Warning

You must use the Ford Supervan 3 specifically. Other Ford vehicles or different Supervan models won't satisfy the requirement. Earning one or two stars isn't enough. Your jump must meet the three-star distance target.

Trophy: Gotta Smash 'Em All

Complete 5 Seasonal Smashable Challenges

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Complete five Seasonal Smashable Challenges from the Festival Playlist. Seasonal Smashable Challenges are limited-time activities that require destroying specific objects scattered throughout Mexico. They appear in the Festival Playlist under the Collectibles category when available. Open the Festival Playlist and check the current season for an eligible Smashable Challenge. Select it to view the required objects and any location clues, then drive around Mexico destroying the specified items until the challenge is marked complete. Repeat this process for five different Seasonal Smashable Challenges to unlock the trophy.

Tip

Check the Festival Playlist every Thursday when the season changes. These challenges don't appear every week, so completing them whenever they're available can save considerable waiting time. You can work toward this trophy alongside Min, Meet Max and Seasoned Veteran.

Warning

Only Seasonal Smashable Challenges count. Ordinary destructible objects and Daily Forzathon Challenges don't satisfy this requirement. Because eligible challenges appear irregularly, this trophy may take several weeks or months through normal seasonal rotations. Older guides mention offline date-changing methods, but their reliability is not guaranteed after game updates.

Earn 3 stars in the 'Tristan' Chapter of the 'Born Fast' Horizon Story

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Earn three stars in the Tristan chapter of the Born Fast Horizon Story. First, build the Horizon Street Scene Outpost by completing the Guanajuato Expedition. Continue earning Accolade Points and unlock Born Fast through the Street Scene branch of Horizon Adventure. Progress through the Born Fast story until you reach its final chapter, Tristan. You must reach the Horizon Hall of Fame before this chapter becomes available. Complete Tristan's driving challenge within its three-star target to unlock the trophy.

Tip

Aim for three stars in every Born Fast chapter while progressing toward Tristan. This also earns Cover to Cover, which requires three stars across every chapter of a single Horizon Story. During the Charlie's Request chapter, win the race even though the story asks you to lose. Winning is necessary to obtain all three stars.

Warning

The Tristan chapter is locked until you've reached the Horizon Hall of Fame. If you cannot access it, complete the Hall of Fame requirements before returning to Born Fast.

Trophy: Manufacturer Affinity

Earn a Manufacturer Bonus

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Earn a Manufacturer Bonus by collecting the required cars from any single manufacturer. Open the pause menu, navigate to Cars, and select Car Collection. Here, you can view vehicles grouped by manufacturer, along with the rewards available for completing their collections. The easiest approach is to choose a manufacturer with very few cars. Austin-Healey is a good option because its collection can be completed by purchasing the 1958 Austin-Healey Sprite for approximately 20,000 credits. Once you've collected the required vehicles, return to Car Collection and claim the Manufacturer Bonus to unlock Manufacturer Affinity.

Tip

You can also earn this trophy while working toward You Could Say I'm a Fan, which requires a Manufacturer Bonus from a collection containing at least 25 cars. If you want a quick trophy without spending much money, completing a small manufacturer's collection is the better approach.

Warning

Owning the required cars isn't always enough. Make sure you open Car Collection and claim the available Manufacturer Bonus.

Trophy: Stunning Photography

Take a photo during a tropical storm

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Take a photograph during a tropical storm. Tropical storms occur in Mexico's wetter regions and produce heavy rain, strong winds, and dramatic weather conditions. The easiest guaranteed opportunity is during the Tulum Expedition, which becomes available through the Horizon Apex branch of Horizon Adventure. During the expedition, you'll explore ancient ruins while a tropical storm is active. Enter Photo Mode using Up on the D-pad and take a photograph while the storm is happening. The trophy unlocks once you've successfully captured a photograph during tropical storm conditions.

Tip

Complete this trophy during the Tulum Expedition alongside An Item Of Extreme Value and New Tune. You can photograph the Golden Tlaloc Totem during the storm to make progress toward two trophies with one picture. Now that's efficient sightseeing.

Warning

Ordinary rain doesn't necessarily qualify as a tropical storm. Use the Tulum Expedition for a reliable opportunity rather than waiting for random weather. If you missed the photograph during your first visit, you can replay the expedition.

Trophy: Unbeatable Triumph

Win 6 different Race Events against Unbeatable Drivatars

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Win six different Race Events against Unbeatable Drivatars. Unbeatable is the highest AI difficulty setting in Forza Horizon 5. To earn this trophy, you must finish first in six unique qualifying race events while competing against opponents set to Unbeatable difficulty. Open the Settings menu, select Difficulty, and change Drivatar Difficulty to Unbeatable before entering a race. Choose a race you're familiar with, select a well-tuned vehicle suited to the course, and finish in first place. Repeat this at five additional race locations to unlock Unbeatable Triumph. Drag Races are a useful option because they involve less cornering and can be easier with a properly tuned acceleration-focused car.

Tip

The 1999 Lamborghini Diablo GTR is an excellent choice for Drag Racing when properly upgraded. You can also attempt Showcase Events or Expeditions, which have been reported to count toward this trophy despite their unusual race structure. If you're struggling, keep Rewind enabled and experiment with vehicle tuning rather than repeatedly attempting the same race with an unsuitable car.

Warning

Make sure Unbeatable difficulty is selected before starting each event. Winning on a lower setting won't count. You must complete six different qualifying events. Repeating the same race won't increase your trophy progress.

Earn 3 stars at the Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazers within 3 minutes 30 seconds

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

How to Unlock

Earn three stars at both the Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazers within 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Both Trailblazers are located in Mexico's southeastern coastal region. You'll need to complete their three-star objectives in quick succession, including the drive between them. Choose a fast off-road vehicle with excellent acceleration and handling. A properly tuned Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution is a strong option because it performs well across rough terrain. Start at Puerta Pétrea, complete the Trailblazer with a three-star result, then immediately drive to La Marisma and earn another three-star result before the combined time limit expires. You can also attempt the challenges in the opposite order.

Tip

Scout both Trailblazer routes beforehand and learn the fastest paths between their start and finish gates. Look for shortcuts across open terrain and avoid unnecessary detours along roads. Enable Rewind to correct mistakes, and use an off-road tune that maintains speed through mud, water, and uneven ground.

Warning

Both Trailblazers must receive three stars within the same 3-minute-30-second window. Completing them separately won't count. Fast travel between the two challenges is not permitted during the attempt. You must drive between them.

Follow the marked route, drive through the checkpoints, and finish the event to unlock Adaptable. You don't need to win the race; completing it is enough.

Tip

Showcase Events are designed to provide exciting, close finishes, so don't panic if the plane pulls ahead during the race. Focus on maintaining control and reaching the finish line. These activities will become especially important when working toward Living Legend, which requires earning 294 PR Stunt stars.

Tip

Enable Rewind before tackling difficult PR Stunts. It can help you correct mistakes during high-speed approaches and jumps without restarting from scratch. A well-tuned car with strong acceleration and handling will also make many PR Stunts easier.

Warning

Selecting the Canyon Expedition doesn't unlock the trophy. You must complete the expedition and establish the Horizon Rush Outpost.

Reach the Horizon Hall of Fame by completing Horizon Adventure and earning 200,000 Accolade Points. Accolade Points are earned through almost everything you do in Mexico, including racing, PR Stunts, Horizon Stories, Expeditions, and Showcase Events. The trophy unlocks after the ceremony.

Tip

Focus on activities required for other trophies, especially winning 80 different races for Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course. You'll naturally accumulate plenty of Accolades along the way. If you need more points, check the Accolades menu under Campaign for additional objectives.

Warning

Reaching 200,000 Accolade Points doesn't immediately unlock the trophy. You must also complete the Horizon Adventure progression and physically drive into the main festival to trigger the induction. Fast traveling directly there may not activate the ceremony.

How to Unlock

Complete every optional Accolade in a single Expedition. Expeditions are special Horizon Adventure missions that establish new Festival Outposts across Mexico. During the expedition, explore the ruins and complete every optional objective shown on your Accolade checklist. These include photographing the Golden Tlaloc Totem, installing the Horizon Pulse Radio Beacon, and discovering the required points of interest. Make sure every optional Accolade is marked complete before finishing the expedition. Once you've earned all Accolades in any one Expedition, No Stone Unturned unlocks.

Tip

Complete this during your first Tulum Expedition visit. You can also earn An Item Of Extreme Value, New Tune, and potentially Stunning Photography during the same trip.

Trophy: Putting on a Show

Win every Showcase Event

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

How to Unlock

Win all four Showcase Events in Forza Horizon 5. Showcase Events are special races that pit you against unusual opponents, including aircraft and other vehicles. They become available as you progress through Horizon Adventure and unlock additional Festival Outposts. The four required events are: 1. Buggy and the Beast — Unlocked through Horizon Baja. 4. Catch Me If You Canyon — Unlocked through Horizon Rush. Unlike Adaptable, which only requires completing the first Showcase, Putting on a Show requires finishing in first place in all four events. Once you've won every Showcase Event, the trophy unlocks.

Tip

Showcase races are designed to produce close finishes, so don't worry if your opponent stays ahead during most of the event. Focus on driving cleanly through the checkpoints and maintaining speed near the finish. You can replay a Showcase if you don't win on your first attempt.

Warning

Simply completing the four events isn't enough. You must win each one for Putting on a Show.
