Roadmap

Early Game

The opening hours are all about learning the flow of combat and getting comfortable with how Ragnarök wants you to play. You will move through a mostly linear path while picking up core mechanics like blocking, dodging, and using your weapons effectively. Take your time here, this is your training ground, not a speedrun.

Make sure you grab early Nornir Chests when you see them, since increasing your health and rage early makes everything smoother. If a fight feels rough, slow things down and react instead of attacking nonstop, the game rewards patience way more than aggression.

You do not need to grind or overthink builds yet. Just follow the story, experiment a little, and enjoy the ride. If something confuses you, puzzles or combat, you can always Ask Gami and get right back into the action.

Mid Game

This is where the game really opens up and starts to feel like your adventure. You will gain access to multiple realms, side quests, and more build options, and this is the perfect time to start mixing in exploration with story progression.

Focus on upgrading your gear regularly and start paying attention to armor sets and enchantments. A good habit is to clear favors and side content as you go instead of saving everything for later, since it keeps your power level where it should be without any grinding.

You will also start unlocking new traversal tools, which means backtracking becomes important. If you hit a wall somewhere earlier, come back later with new abilities. If you are ever unsure what to prioritize next, Ask Gami and it will point you in the right direction without slowing you down.

Late Game

As you approach the final chapters, the difficulty ramps up and fights become more demanding. This is your signal to start tightening your build, upgrading your gear, and making sure your favorite runic attacks are leveled up.

Before pushing into the final missions, take some time to wrap up anything you care about, especially tougher side content or upgrades. While most things are not missable, it is always easier to handle challenges when you are fully prepared rather than rushing in underpowered.

Boss fights here will test everything you have learned, so stay calm, watch patterns, and do not panic if you lose a few attempts. If a fight feels overwhelming, step back, adjust your build, and come back stronger. You have made it this far, you can finish it.

Trophy Cleanup and Extra Tips

After finishing the main story, the game opens up completely for cleanup. This is the best time to focus on collectibles, favors, optional bosses, and any remaining trophies without pressure.

Most trophies will come naturally if you explored along the way, but the remaining ones will likely involve endgame challenges, hidden areas, and stronger enemies. Take your time and enjoy this phase, it is where you really master the game.

If anything feels confusing, collectibles, puzzles, or boss fights, Ask Gami and save yourself the frustration. You are not meant to figure everything out alone.

At this point, it is just you and the final stretch. Stay patient, keep upgrading, and before you know it, that platinum will be yours.
