Trophy: The Bear and the Wolf

Collect all Trophies.

Type: Platinum

Collect all Trophies.

Collectible

Trophy: Collector

Obtain all Relics and Sword Hilts.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is a full relic cleanup and one of the longer trophies, but it is very manageable if you break it down. You need all 14 relics and sword hilts, which come from a mix of story progression, exploration, side bosses, and crafting. A few will come naturally through the story, so you are already partway there without trying. The main bulk comes from exploration and side content. Some relics are found in legendary chests, others drop from bosses like Berserkers or The Raven Keeper, and a few require specific activities like clearing gravestones or collecting all ravens. The most time consuming part is unlocking the Berserker King and finishing the raven chests, so expect a bit of a grind here. The final group requires finding four lost pages before you can craft the remaining relics. Once you have all the pages, you still need to complete certain activities or defeat specific enemies to unlock the crafting recipes, so make sure you are checking both requirements. This trophy sounds overwhelming, but it naturally lines up with going for full completion. If you are clearing favors, collectibles, and bosses as you go, you will only have a few relics left to clean up at the end. Stick with it and this will fall into place alongside your platinum run.

Trophy: Dragon Slayer

Craft the Dragon Scaled Armor Set.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This armor set is one of the best in the game and getting it feels rewarding without being overly difficult. First, you need to complete the Scent of Survival favor to unlock the hidden northern region of Vanaheim, which gives you access to the blueprint. To craft the full set, you will need Dragon Teeth and a Dragon Claw, which come from hunting dragons and drakes in that region. You will naturally run into most of these fights if you are clearing favors and exploring, especially the Crag Jaw boss tied to Quaking Hollow. Focus on taking down these large enemies as you find them, and you will have enough materials before you know it. This is one of those trophies that lines up nicely with exploration, so if you are already working toward full completion, it will come together without much extra effort.

Trophy: Full Belly

Obtain all of the Apples of Iðunn and Horns of Blood Mead.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is one of the most important collectible trophies since it directly upgrades your survivability. Apples of Iðunn increase your health and Horns of Blood Mead increase your rage, and both are found inside Nornir chests scattered across the realms. You do not need all of them, only enough to fully max out both stats, which happens before finding every chest. Nornir chests are locked behind small puzzles, and there are four main types you will run into. Lighting braziers, destroying hidden runes, hitting three bells quickly, and placing spears into runes before detonating them together. Once you recognize these patterns, they become much easier to solve. There are more chests than you actually need, so do not stress about finding every single one. Focus on exploring naturally and solving them as you go, and you will max out your health and rage well before the end. Think of this as steady power growth that makes everything else in the game easier.

Trophy: Phalanx

Obtain all Shields.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is a simple collectible trophy, but it is tied to progression and a bit of exploration. There are five shields total, and most of them come naturally through the story or from the shop, so you will likely unlock this without going out of your way. A couple of shields are purchased from the shop as you progress, with one unlocking after completing the Reunion quest and defeating Garm. One is given automatically during the story, so you cannot miss it. The only one you may need to actively track down is found in a legendary chest in Vanaheim. Head to the Abandoned Village, follow the path through the gap, freeze the poison plant, climb the chain, and open the chest on the right. Shields are more than just defense in this game, and each one changes how you play with different parries and shield attacks. Try them out as you unlock them, and by the time you collect all five, this trophy will pop naturally.

Trophy: Pure of Hart

Return the Stags of the Four Seasons.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is another collectible favor from Ratatoskr and takes place in The Crater, one of the larger post game areas in Vanaheim. You will need to find and return four stags, one for each season, and you must first unlock the area by completing Creatures of Prophecy and the Scent of Survival favor. Before collecting them, make sure to speak to Ratatoskr to receive the Yggdrasil Leaves, as you need these to lure the stags back. It is also highly recommended to complete Return of the River early, since it opens up traversal across the entire region and makes everything much easier to reach. Summer, The Jungle. After restoring the river and switching to daytime, take the boat north and find the stag past the ogres and blockage. Autumn, The Sinkholes. From the Crater Entrance, head east through the poison cave and grapple across to find it near the gateway. Winter, The Plains. After defeating The Crimson Dread, climb the nearby structure and drop down to find the stag near the water. Spring, The Plains. Accessed from the Jungle Entrance, follow the path into The Wishing Well and find it near a tree. Once you have all four, return them to Ratatoskr to complete the favor. This one takes a bit of setup, but if you are already exploring The Crater, it fits naturally into your cleanup and is easy to finish alongside other collectibles.

Trophy: Rightful Place

Return all the Lindwyrms to Ratatoskr.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is a collectible side activity where you help Ratatoskr by capturing six Lindwyrms hidden inside realm tears. You will get a special trap from him after progressing the story, and from there it is just a matter of finding each rift and interacting with it. Svartalfheim, The Forge. Near the spear training area on the mountain, use your spear traversal to reach the rift. Svartalfheim, Alberich Island. Climb to the top, unblock the geyser, swing across to the ship, then find the rift on board. Svartalfheim, Alberich Hollow. Enter the cave from the bridge and climb the ledge shortly after the legendary chest. Svartalfheim, The Applecore. Backtrack through the tunnels, use spear traversal, and find the rift near a large door area. Vanaheim, The Plains. Near the northeast mystic gateway, just turn right to spot it. Vanaheim, The Plains. In the same area as the large dragon fight, on the opposite side of the arena. Most of these are quick to grab once you know where they are, and you will likely find several while exploring for other collectibles. Once all six are captured, return them to Ratatoskr and the trophy will unlock. It is a simple cleanup, just a bit of realm hopping.

Trophy: The Curator

Collect all of the Artifacts.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is your full artifact cleanup and it pairs perfectly with going for 100 percent. There are 38 artifacts spread across all realms, and the easiest way to get them is by clearing each region completely instead of chasing individual sets. If you have been exploring along the way, you will already have a good amount done. The only thing to watch for is the Spirit Mementos set in Vanaheim, which requires completing all five Casualty of War favors in The Crater. Once those are done, the remaining artifacts become available and you can finish the set. Nothing here is missable, but some areas only fully open up after the story, so post game is the best time to clean everything up. Take it realm by realm, follow your map completion, and this will come naturally without much backtracking.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/hSgXSXqVK3I

Trophy: The Florist

Collect one flower from each of the nine realms.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This one is a relaxed post game collectible cleanup and honestly a nice break from all the chaos. Freya wants flowers from every realm and there are nine total, one per realm, so you are basically doing a full tour of the world one last time. You cannot get them all during the story, so save this for after you finish the game when everything is open. Sparkthorn, Svartalfheim, Nidavellir. Crawl through the sewer left of the shop, throw a spear into the wall ahead, then swing across to reach it. Ashpetal, Muspelheim, The Crucible. Right next to the shop near the mystic gateway, very easy pickup. Ironbell, Jotunheim, Angrboda’s Treehouse. Take the left path and follow it to the end to find it waiting there. Soulblossom, Helheim, Hel’s Perch. Climb down near the gateway, return to the boss arena, use your spear and grapple points to cross over to it. Starblush, Vanaheim, The Sinkhole. Found near the gravestone area, but only after completing Return of the River in The Jungle. Dawnbloom, Alfheim, The Forbidden Sands. Before crossing the light bridge to the statue, check the fenced area on the left. Mirkweed, Midgard, Sanctuary Grove. Talk to Ratatoskr after the story, unlock the area, then follow the path past Chaurli. Frostfinger, Niflheim, Mist Fields. Right in front of the mystic gateway once unlocked with a Yggdrasil Seed. Dreamshade, Niflheim, Aesir Prison Wreckage. Take the left path near The Raven Tree and go down to the bottom level of the prison. None of these are difficult, just a bit spread out, so expect some fast traveling. Knock them out in one sweep and you will wrap this up quickly.

Trophy: The Librarian

Collect all of the Books.

Type: Bronze

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

This is one of the bigger collectible trophies, but it is actually pretty enjoyable since every book is a cool reference to other PlayStation games. There are 14 Kvasir’s Poems total, and most of them are found naturally if you explore thoroughly, but a few are tucked away behind puzzles or side paths. This is best done during post game cleanup so you can move freely between realms without restrictions.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/bylIXF-8D8U

Grind

Trophy: Invasive Species

Complete all of the Crater Hunts.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

This is one of the bigger combat focused trophies and takes place entirely in The Crater, a hidden region in Vanaheim. You will need to complete nine hunts across The Jungle, The Sinkholes, and The Plains, most of which involve fighting dragons or other powerful enemies. Before you can fully complete this, you need to unlock the area through Scent of Survival and then open it up further by completing Return of the River. Once that is done, all hunts become accessible, including ones that require switching between day and night using the Celestial Altar. Complete all hunts in The Jungle including dragon fights and The Corpse Eater. Finish The Sinkholes hunts, including Crag Jaw and The Ash Tyrant. Clear The Plains hunts, including The Crimson Dread, Soul Eater, Dreki, and Flame Phantom. Each hunt is tied to a favor, so if you are following objectives and clearing the map, you will naturally progress through them. These fights can be tough, especially the dragons, so make sure your gear is upgraded and take your time learning their patterns. This trophy is essentially your combat gauntlet for the game, but it lines up perfectly with full completion. Stick with it, and once the last hunt is done, the trophy will pop.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/P_rHzyIwKmw

Trophy: Ready for Commitment

Fully upgrade one armor set.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

This is a full upgrade trophy and will come naturally as you push toward 100 percent. You need to fully upgrade all three pieces of a single armor set to level 9, chest, wrist, and waist. If you are exploring, completing favors, and opening chests, you will collect multiple full sets along the way. The main thing to watch for is upgrade materials, especially sparkling crystals, which are required for the final levels. These come from The Wishing Well in Vanaheim, a hidden area in The Crater. You will need to unlock the region through Scent of Survival, restore the river, and then access the Jungle path to reach it. Once there, destroy the orange crystal rocks around The Crater and throw the fragments into the well to receive purified and sparkling crystals. This is the fastest and most reliable way to get the materials needed for max upgrades. If you want an easy route, the Dragon Scaled armor is a strong choice since you will already be farming dragons for materials. By the time you are finishing collectibles and trials, you should have everything needed. Just pick a set, upgrade all three pieces, and this trophy will unlock.

Combat

Trophy: Grave Mistake

Battle King Hrólf.

Type: Gold

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This is one of the toughest fights in the game and serves as the final Berserker challenge. You must defeat all Berserker gravestones first, then head to King’s Grave in Midgard to face King Hrólf. His moveset is a mix of everything you have already fought, so the key here is recognition and patience. One important mechanic is his enhanced health bar, which requires the correct weapon to break before you can deal real damage. Pay attention to the element and switch weapons accordingly, otherwise you will waste time and leave yourself open. Most of his attacks are fast and aggressive, with a mix of unblockable slams, projectile spam, and area attacks. Focus on clean dodges instead of risky blocks, and only attack after his combos finish. He also has interruptible attacks, so watch for opportunities to stun him and create openings. This fight is all about consistency. It will likely take a few attempts, but once you learn his patterns and stop rushing, it becomes much more manageable. Stay patient, play safe, and you will take him down.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/I5bfWjkMdtQ

Trophy: The True Queen

Battle Gná.

Type: Gold

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Gná is the hardest boss in Ragnarök and your final test before the platinum. She is extremely aggressive, mixes up her attacks constantly, and punishes mistakes hard, so expect a real challenge even on lower difficulties. The best approach is to start strong by using all your runic attacks and relic early to chunk her health, then shift into a defensive playstyle. Watch her attack indicators carefully, since she chains together red and yellow attacks quickly, and reacting correctly is more important than dealing damage. She has a wide range of moves including unblockable dives, fast melee combos, and projectile attacks that require either blocking or precise dodging depending on the color. One of the most important habits is staying calm and not panic dodging, since her timing can bait you into mistakes. Save Spartan Rage for defensive moments or when you need to recover, rather than burning it all at once. Use your companion abilities often to create openings, and take advantage of any stun opportunities to deal safe damage. This fight is meant to push you, but it is very fair once you learn her patterns. Stay patient, keep your composure, and when you finally bring her down, it will feel like a true endgame victory.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/91kPojQTcbQ

Trophy: Trials by Fire

Complete the Trials of Muspelheim.

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

This is one of the longer combat challenges in the game and takes place in Muspelheim. You first need to unlock The Crucible by finding two Muspelheim seeds hidden in Svartalfheim, then you can access the challenge arena through a mystic gateway. The trials are split into three main sets, and you will need to complete all challenges in each set before unlocking the final Crucible challenges in the center. These mix up objectives like surviving waves, avoiding damage, killing enemies quickly, or controlling the arena. Complete all challenges in the three outer arenas to unlock the final set. Combine arena completions to unlock all six Crucible challenges. Finish every unique challenge at least once to complete the favor. The Crucible challenges are the hardest, including endurance fights, boss rushes, and survival modes. The key here is staying mobile, using the right weapon for enemy types, and saving your strongest abilities for tougher waves. This can feel overwhelming at first, but it gets easier as you learn each challenge type. Stick with it, and once you complete all required trials, the trophy will unlock.

Misc

Trophy: Besties

Pet Speki and Svanna.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This is a fun and quick side quest, but it does come with a small warning since it has been known to bug. To unlock it, you need to complete the Animal Instincts favor by clearing all four raider camps in Midgard, Raider Hideout, Raider Stronghold, Raider Fort, and Raider Keep. Each camp is straightforward, just defeat all enemies and move on to the next. The final camp triggers a fight against the chieftain, so be ready for a slightly tougher encounter. Once he is down, head back to your sled and interact with it to trigger a short scene where Kratos finally shows some love to the wolves. If you want to play it safe, consider lowering the difficulty and making a backup save before finishing the camps, just in case the trophy does not pop. It is an easy cleanup otherwise, and definitely one of the more wholesome moments in the game.

Trophy: Full Gufa

Free the Hafgufas.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This involves freeing two Hafgufas in Alfheim and is one of the more memorable side activities in the game. You will need to complete two favors, The Secret of the Sands and Song of the Sands, both found in the desert regions. Each one takes you into underground caverns filled with light puzzles, crystal reflections, and enemy encounters. The general idea is to clear paths by destroying red hive growths using reflected axe throws and sonic arrows, then progress deeper until you reach the trapped creature. Complete The Secret of the Sands in The Barrens by exploring the cave and breaking all bindings. Complete Song of the Sands in The Forbidden Sands after progressing the story further. Once both Hafgufas are freed, the trophy unlocks. These areas can look confusing at first, but they are mostly linear once you get inside, so just follow the path, solve each puzzle step by step, and you will get through them without much trouble.

Trophy: How it Started

Equip an Enchantment.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This comes naturally through the story and introduces one of the most important systems in the game. After Freya frees herself from Odin’s curse in Vanaheim, you will pick up the Amulet of Yggdrasil and be prompted to equip your first enchantment. Just slot it in and the trophy will pop, nothing extra needed.

Trophy: It Was a Good Day

Retrieve Mardöll.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This trophy is tied to Freya’s Missing Peace, one of the better side quests in Vanaheim. You will pick it up naturally while exploring the river area near Freyr’s Camp, then make your way to the Vanir Shrine by heading past Goddess Falls and climbing up into the ruins. The quest is mostly about restoring Freya’s past by interacting with altars and progressing through the shrine. Along the way, you will deal with enemies, solve light puzzles using sigil arrows and fire, and unlock paths by breaking seals and clearing vines. Just follow Freya and the objectives, and you will stay on track. You will obtain Mardöll near the end of the shrine section after interacting with the final altar and triggering a cutscene. The trophy unlocks here, before the quest fully finishes, so you do not need to complete everything afterward for it to pop. This is a straightforward favor with a nice story payoff, so take your time with it and enjoy the journey rather than rushing through.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/OH9P0qmHsB8

Trophy: Knock off the Rust

Purchase a Skill.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This is part of the early tutorial and you cannot miss it. During the opening hours, the game will prompt you to open the skills menu and purchase your first ability using XP. Just grab any available skill and the trophy will unlock instantly. Skills are split between your axe, blades, and Atreus, and each one adds new moves or improves your combat flow. As you keep playing, you will naturally earn more XP, so do not overthink your first pick. A good habit early on is to rotate through different skills and level them up instead of sticking to just one move. It keeps combat fresh and makes you much more effective as fights start getting tougher.

Trophy: Making Amends

Free the Lyngbakr.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This is one of the more memorable favors and feels great to complete. You will be freeing the Lyngbakr, which is the island itself in the Bay of Bounty, and most of the work comes from breaking the chains holding it down. Start the Weight of Chains favor and follow the objectives across the island. The first step is grabbing the Watchtower Key by exploring the island and clearing enemies. Once you have it, head to The Watchtower, use the key, and reveal the creature’s bindings. After that, return to the Lyngbakr and begin freeing each chain one by one. The process is mostly traversal and light puzzle solving. You will climb, destroy gold rubble with fire bombs, swing across gaps, and cut multiple chains while dealing with enemies along the way. Each chain you break opens up more of the island, so just keep following the path forward. Once all chains are destroyed, make your way to the creature’s eye and interact with it to finish the favor. It takes a bit of time, but it is very straightforward, and it is one of the more satisfying side quests in the game.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/64sie5KvlWU

Trophy: New Friends

Fetch Lúnda's orb.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This is a quick and easy side quest that you can grab while exploring Vanaheim. Speak to Lúnda at Freyr’s Camp to start The Mysterious Orb, then head out into the River Delta to track it down. Follow the river path west, then loop around south until you reach a fork. Take the left path and dock on the right side instead of heading straight. The orb is right there waiting for you, so it is more about knowing where to go than solving anything complicated. Once you pick it up, return it to Lúnda at the shop. This is a fast favor with minimal effort, and it is easy to knock out while working on other Vanaheim collectibles.

Trophy: Rebel Leader

Return the Hammer of the Rebellion.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This is a quick and easy side quest tied to Durlin in Svartalfheim. Speak to him in his tavern in Niðavellir to start the Spirit of Rebellion favor, where he asks you to retrieve his hammer. Head to the large dwarf statue located on the bridge between Dragon Beach and Alberich Hollow. Interact with the rune slate on the statue to raise the massive hammer, revealing the smaller one inside. Pick it up, then return it to Durlin to complete the favor and unlock the trophy. If he is not in the tavern when you return, check Sverd Sands, as he may be there for the funeral quest. This is a fast cleanup trophy and easy to knock out alongside other Svartalfheim tasks.

Trophy: Spit Shine

Upgrade one piece of armor.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

You will get this early on once you reach Brok and Sindri’s house and unlock upgrading. Head into the armor tab, pick any piece, and upgrade it using Hacksilver and basic materials. You will easily have enough by this point, so this is basically a free trophy and a good reminder to keep your gear updated.

Story

Trophy: A Grizzly Encounter

Battle the Bear.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is your first real boss fight and a solid introduction to how combat works in Ragnarök. After following the trail left by Atreus, you will face Bjorn the bear, and while he looks intimidating, this fight is all about learning the basics. Pay attention to attack indicators, yellow means you can block and parry, red means dodge immediately. The biggest thing here is staying calm and reacting instead of button mashing. Watch for his multi hit red attacks and keep dodging until the combo finishes. Once you deal enough damage, you will get an R3 prompt to finish the fight. Treat this as your training ground, because the game only gets harder from here.

Trophy: Backyard Brawl

Battle the Mysterious Valkyrie.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is your first Valkyrie style fight and it is a step up in speed and aggression. Vanadis hits fast and punishes reckless play, so the safest approach is to stay defensive and let her come to you. Watch her attack indicators closely, yellow means parry and red means dodge immediately, especially when she lunges with her wings. Her bow attacks are easier to block than dodge, so keep your shield up and wait for openings. When she switches to melee, expect quick combos, so it is safer to parry multiple times instead of guessing. The best way to create openings is by using Atreus. Build up his arrows, trigger his stun, and use that window to land a few clean hits. In the second phase, her combos get longer and she adds poison zones to her red attacks, so give yourself more space and avoid rolling into danger. You also gain Valour, which gives you a quick heal, so use it whenever you are low to stay in control of the fight. This fight can feel chaotic at first, but once you slow things down and react instead of rushing, it becomes very manageable. Stay patient, take your openings, and you will bring her down without too much trouble.

Trophy: Better Together

Battle Hrist and Mist.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This fight throws two Valkyries at you at once, but the good news is they share a health bar, so you are not dealing with double the work. The key here is awareness. Always try to keep both Hrist and Mist in your view so you are not caught off guard by attacks from behind. If one flies out of sight, rely on warning arrows and Atreus’ callouts to react in time. Most of their attacks are familiar, with blockable spins, parryable strikes, and red attacks that need quick dodges. One of the most important mechanics is their blue ring attack, so be ready to break it quickly for a stun and free damage. Play defensively, block often, and take your openings instead of forcing attacks. In the second phase, things get more chaotic with tag team attacks and moments where Atreus gets grabbed. When you see the red alert, immediately free him or you will lose control of the fight. You will also need to avoid large red danger zones and deal with combo attacks where one distracts while the other hits hard. Stick to a patient approach, use your runic abilities and rage during safe windows, and focus on clean reactions. It can feel overwhelming at first, but once you slow things down and stay aware of both enemies, this fight becomes much more manageable.

Trophy: Blood Debt

Battle the God of Thunder.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is your first major boss fight against Thor, and it sets the tone early. The fight is split into three phases, and each one adds more pressure, but the core idea stays the same, survive, learn his patterns, and punish when safe. In the first phase, you do not have your axe, so rely on fists and dodging. Thor is fast and aggressive, so rolling is your best defense. If he grabs you, react quickly to break free. Once you regain your axe, start using your abilities to deal real damage. The second phase adds environmental attacks, so use the pillars when prompted and keep dodging his lightning. When he grabs you again, react fast to avoid heavy damage. The final phase takes place on the ice, where you need to watch for red ground indicators from his hammer attacks while staying close enough to deal damage when he is open. This fight looks overwhelming at first, but it is very forgiving if you stay patient. Focus on learning his rhythm instead of rushing, and you will bring down the God of Thunder without too much trouble.

Trophy: Comeuppance

Battle Heimdall.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This fight is all about adapting to Heimdall’s ability to predict your moves, and it introduces one of the most satisfying mechanics in the game. You will first need to defeat Gulltoppr, which is fairly straightforward. Dodge its lunges, counter its bifrost attacks with a well timed block, and get your damage in after each opening. Once Heimdall steps in, the real fight begins. You cannot hit him normally at first, so the key is using your spear. Throw it so he catches it, then detonate it to catch him off guard and create openings. Repeat this a few times until you can start landing real damage. It feels tricky at first, but once it clicks, it becomes very consistent. In the final phase, he becomes much more aggressive and mixes longer combos with faster attacks. Watch your indicators carefully, especially red attacks, and stay ready to counter his bifrost with quick blocks. You can also place spears on the ground and detonate them as he moves over them for safer damage. This fight is more about timing and patience than raw difficulty. Once you understand how to break his rhythm with the spear, it becomes one of the most satisfying wins in the game.

Trophy: Funeral for a Friend

Attend the funeral.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is a short but meaningful post game quest that you should do right after finishing the story. Head to Niðavellir in Svartalfheim and speak with Durlin to start the favor A Viking Funeral. After the conversation, you will be directed to Sverd Sands to attend the ceremony. The quickest way is to fast travel to Aurvangar Wetlands, then take the left path and use the ferry to reach the area. Once you arrive, follow the objective and let the scene play out. The trophy unlocks after the credits finish, but you can skip them if you want. It is a simple task, but it is worth doing right away, both for the trophy and for a proper send off.

Trophy: How it's Going

Fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil.

Type: Silver

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Fully repairing the Amulet of Yggdrasil is a key progression milestone and gives you a big boost in build flexibility. You start with only a couple of slots, and the rest are repaired using Jewels of Yggdrasil, which are found throughout the game. Two of the jewels come naturally from story bosses, but the remaining ones are hidden in legendary chests across different realms. These usually involve some light puzzle solving or exploration, so if you are already opening chests and clearing areas, you will pick most of them up without going out of your way. Once you collect all the jewels, head to the shop and repair the remaining slots. This unlocks the full potential of your enchantments and lets you experiment with stronger builds, making the rest of your cleanup much easier.

Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/Db0w4wwja54

Trophy: Off the Leash

Battle Garm.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Garm looks intimidating, but this fight is actually pretty straightforward once you learn his patterns. You have a large arena to work with, so use the space to your advantage and focus on dodging cleanly before going in for damage. Most of his attacks are easy to read, with yellow for blockable shockwaves and red for dangerous lunges that need quick dodges. When he lunges forward, dodge to the side and punish his head while he recovers. One of the key mechanics is when his chain gets stuck in the ground. Freeze it with your axe, run in, and interact to knock him down for a big damage window. Do not miss these moments, as they speed the fight up a lot. In the second phase, he adds more projectiles and longer attack chains, including multiple shockwaves and ice throws. Keep moving, stay patient, and use Atreus often to build pressure while you wait for openings. When the chain gets stuck again near the end, repeat the same process and win the final struggle. This fight is more about consistency than difficulty, so stay calm, react properly, and you will take him down without much trouble.

Trophy: Ragnarök

Battle the All-Father.

Type: Gold

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is the final boss fight against Odin and it is a long, multi phase battle that tests everything you have learned. He relies heavily on bifrost attacks, so your main focus should be dodging instead of blocking to avoid taking extra damage over time. In the early phases, stay patient and let him finish his attack chains before going in. He tends to attack in bursts, then pause briefly, which is your window to deal damage. Do not overcommit to long combos, as he recovers quickly and will punish you if you get greedy. As the fight progresses, he adds more projectiles, arena hazards, and platform pressure. Keep moving, watch for ground effects, and stay aware of your positioning. When he starts covering parts of the arena, focus on survival first and damage second. In the final phase, Odin gains elemental shields that require specific responses. Use your axe to break fire shields and your blades for others, then follow up with your strongest attacks while he is vulnerable. Save your rage and runic abilities for these moments to break through quickly. This fight can feel overwhelming, but it is very fair if you stay calm and react properly. Play it safe, take your openings, and once you push through the final phase, you will finish the journey and earn the trophy.

Trophy: Root of the Problem

Battle Níðhögg.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is a longer boss fight with multiple phases, but it is very manageable once you understand its patterns. Níðhögg starts stuck in a realm tear, throwing projectiles and leaving lingering damage zones, so your focus early on is clean dodging and picking safe moments to attack its head. As the fight progresses, it becomes more aggressive and starts chaining attacks together. Watch for the red ring slam and always dodge backward to stay safe. One of the most important mechanics is its blue ring tail attack. When it charges, run in and double tap block to stun it, which gives you a big opening and often drops health. Missing this punish makes the fight longer than it needs to be. Later phases add more chaos with beam attacks, bifrost pillars, and heavy projectile patterns. Stay mobile, avoid panic rolling, and only commit to attacks when it pauses. You will also get scripted stun moments using Freya’s runes and your weapons, so take advantage of those to deal free damage. By the final phase, it is low on health but still dangerous, so do not get greedy. Keep dodging, wait for a safe opening, and finish it off clean. It looks like a lot, but once you stay patient and react properly, this fight becomes surprisingly controlled.

Trophy: The Cauldron

Destroy Grýla's cauldron.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This is a unique boss fight since you are not directly damaging Grýla most of the time, you are targeting her cauldron instead. During the first phase, stay at a distance, dodge her lunges and projectiles, and wait for the cauldron to tilt so the purple rune is visible. Shoot it with arrows until she staggers, then run in and deal melee damage. In the second phase, the fight becomes more about positioning. The ground will glow red, so quickly move to safe ledges, then bait her toward the candles on the counters. When she gets close, command Angrboda to shoot them to create openings, then continue hitting the rune on the cauldron. Keep moving to avoid her attacks and drop back down when the ledges become unsafe. The final phase follows the same idea but adds more movement, as she starts backing away, forcing you to reposition more often. You can also shoot her incoming projectiles to stop them from tracking you. Stay patient, focus on the cauldron instead of her, and once you get the final opening, finish the fight to end the encounter cleanly.
