Trophy: Democracy ain't done with you yet
Heal another player using stims.
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Heal another player using one of your Stims. Stims are your main healing item and are replenished whenever you respawn. Wait until a teammate has lost some health, then walk up to them. When the healing prompt appears, press Cross to use one of your Stims on them. The trophy will unlock once you successfully heal the other player.
Tip
This is easiest with a friend or coordinated teammate. Just have them take a little damage, then patch them up.
Warning
You cannot heal a teammate who is already at full health. Super Earth needs every Helldiver alive. Preferably long enough to throw one more Stratagem.

Trophy: Extractamundo!
Extract with a full squad on a Hard difficulty or more mission.
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Successfully extract with a full squad of 4 players on Difficulty 5: Hard or higher. Complete all required primary objectives, then head to the extraction zone and call in the shuttle. Once it arrives, all 4 squad members need to enter the shuttle before it leaves. Deaths during the mission do not matter. You can die as many times as your reinforcement budget allows, as long as all 4 Helldivers are alive and physically inside the extraction shuttle at the end. The trophy unlocks after the full squad successfully extracts.
Tip
Save at least a few Reinforcements for the extraction phase. If someone dies right before the shuttle lands and you cannot bring them back, the run will not count.
Warning
This requires a full squad of 4 players at extraction. Four Helldivers go in, four Helldivers come out. What happens in between is classified.

Trophy: Extractinating the Countryside
Play a planet defense mission.
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Play any mission on a planet that is currently under attack during a Defense campaign. Planet Defense missions are limited-time events and are not always available. When one is active, open the Galactic Map and look for a planet marked with: DEFEND A countdown timer That means hostile forces are attacking Super Earth territory. Select that planet and play any mission there. The trophy will unlock once you take part in a mission during the active Defense campaign.
Tip
If no Defense campaign is active, you will simply need to wait until one appears.
Warning
This trophy is date-sensitive because Defense missions are only available during active community events. Managed Democracy never sleeps. Unfortunately, sometimes the trophy does.

Trophy: Gone in 360 seconds!
Complete a full Extreme difficulty Blitz mission and extract in under 6 minutes.
Type: Gold
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete a Difficulty 6: Extreme Blitz mission and successfully extract in under 6 minutes. Blitz missions have much shorter time limits and usually involve quick objectives such as destroying enemy hives or other targets. The easiest approach is to start near the center of the map and have the squad split up immediately so everyone can rush separate objectives. Bring Stratagems that can destroy objectives quickly, such as the Eagle Airstrike. The biggest thing to remember is extraction time. Normally, the shuttle takes around 2 minutes to arrive, which means you really only have about 4 minutes to complete the mission objectives and reach the extraction point. Once the main objective is done, stop sightseeing and head straight for extraction. Before launching, check the mission effects by pressing R2. Avoid missions with effects that increase Stratagem call-in time, because this also increases how long the extraction shuttle takes to arrive and can make the 6-minute requirement much harder. This trophy is significantly easier with a full coordinated squad.
Tip
The Expert Extraction Pilot Booster from the Democratic Detonation Warbond reduces the extraction wait and can make this trophy much easier. Ignore optional objectives, samples, and anything else that slows you down. For this run, Super Earth does not care about efficiency. It cares about speed.
Warning
You must successfully extract before the 6-minute mark. Completing the mission in time but still waiting on the shuttle will not be enough. Six minutes sounds generous until you realize Super Earth spends two of them making you wait for the ride home.

Trophy: Hell Dive
Complete an Extreme difficulty mission or higher without anyone dying.
Type: Gold
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete a mission on Difficulty 6: Extreme or higher without anyone on the team dying. The easiest mission types for this are usually shorter ones like Blitz or Eradicate, where you can finish the objective without spending too long exposed to things that want to turn you into a patriotic smear on the landscape. Eradicate missions are especially useful because some maps have elevated areas you can climb where smaller enemies struggle to reach you. A strong setup is to bring several sentries, such as: A/M-12 Mortar Sentry A/AC-8 Autocannon Sentry Let the sentries do most of the killing while the squad stays in a safer position. This gets much easier with more players because you can bring more sentries and stagger their deployment so something is almost always active. It is also worth bringing a support weapon such as the GL-21 Grenade Launcher in case your sentries expire before their cooldowns are ready. The trophy unlocks once the mission is completed with zero deaths across the entire team.
Tip
Eradicate is usually the cleanest option because the objective is simple and you can build your entire loadout around staying alive.
Warning
This requires an online connection, and one death from any squad member ruins the attempt. For once, Super Earth is asking you to survive the mission instead of heroically exploding for Democracy. Try not to disappoint them.

Trophy: Hold my primary, I'm going in!
Complete a full Hard difficulty mission or higher without anyone firing their primary or support weapon.
Type: Gold
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Complete a mission on Difficulty 5: Hard or higher without anyone firing a primary or support weapon. That means the entire squad must avoid using: Primary weapons Support weapons called in through Stratagems You can still use your secondary weapon and offensive Stratagems. The easiest method is to choose an Eradicate mission. Because these missions take place on small maps and only require you to kill a set number of enemies, you can build around sentries and let them handle most of the work. Bring several sentry Stratagems, especially the A/M Mortar Sentry. Once the mission begins, stay safe, use your pistol only if absolutely necessary, and let the sentries rack up the kills. This is much easier with a coordinated squad because each player can bring additional sentries and defensive Stratagems. The trophy unlocks once the mission is successfully completed without anyone firing a prohibited weapon.
Tip
Before launching, make sure everyone knows the rules. One accidental trigger pull from a primary weapon can ruin the entire run.
Warning
Random players can easily void the trophy by joining and immediately firing their primary weapon, so a private or coordinated squad is much safer.

Trophy: It's the only way to be sure...
Have 6 orbital barrage stratagems in the same place at the same time.
Type: Silver
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Have 6 Orbital Barrage Stratagems active in the same area at the same time. The following Orbital Barrage Stratagems count: Orbital Gatling Barrage Orbital 120MM HE Barrage Orbital 380MM HE Barrage Orbital Walking Barrage A single player can only equip 4 Stratagems, so this trophy requires at least 2 players. Before launching, have each player equip enough Orbital Barrage Stratagems so the squad has at least 6 total. Once in the mission, gather in a large open area and throw all 6 Stratagem beacons into roughly the same spot as quickly as possible. As long as the barrages overlap and are active together, the trophy should unlock.
Tip
Coordinate who is throwing which barrage before the mission starts. The faster everyone throws them, the better the chance all 6 are active at the same time.
Warning
This trophy requires at least 2 players. For maximum assurance, Super Earth recommends removing the grid square from existence.

Trophy: Promote Synergy
Provide assisted reload for a teammate.
Type: Bronze
Category: Online
Unlock Details
Perform an assisted reload for a teammate. Certain heavy weapons use a separate ammunition backpack, including: GR-8 Recoilless Rifle AC-8 Autocannon Have one player carry the weapon while you equip the matching ammunition backpack. Walk up beside the player holding the weapon and press Cross when the assisted reload prompt appears. You will then reload the weapon for them much faster than they could by themselves. The trophy will unlock once the assisted reload is performed.
Tip
Do this with a friend and set it up somewhere calm rather than trying to figure it out while a Bile Titan is introducing itself. Two Helldivers. One oversized weapon. Now that is workplace synergy.

Trophy: Doing your part
Complete at least 100 missions.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Complete 100 missions. You can check your current total by going to: Armory Career Only completed missions count toward this trophy, so simply starting or abandoning them will not help. If you are playing normally and working toward the rest of the trophy list, this should build up naturally over time. If you still need to grind missions at the end, the fastest method is to run Difficulty 1: Trivial missions, rush the main objective, complete it, then die instead of spending extra time extracting.
Tip
Do not grind this early. You’ll complete a lot of missions naturally while working on Samples, upgrades, difficulty-specific trophies, and the rest of the Platinum. A hundred missions sounds like a lot until you remember how often Super Earth finds another planet that urgently needs Democracy.

Trophy: For the greater good!
Kill 5,000 enemies.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Kill a total of 5,000 enemies. This is cumulative across all of your missions, so there is no need to grind it right away. You will likely earn this naturally while working through higher difficulties, collecting Samples, completing 100 missions, and cleaning up the rest of the trophy list. You can check your current total in: Armory Career Once your lifetime kill count reaches 5,000 enemies, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Leave this one alone until the end. Helldivers 2 throws so many enemies at you that actively grinding kills early is usually a waste of time. Five thousand enemies later, Super Earth would like to remind you that this was absolutely necessary for freedom.

Trophy: Fully operational
Reach max level on one ship module.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Reach the current maximum rank on any one Ship Module. Ship Modules are upgraded from the Ship Module tab in the Ship Management screen aboard your ship. At launch, Ship Modules only went up to Level 3, but the current maximum is Level 5, and you need to fully upgrade one module all the way to the current cap for this trophy. The cheapest option is the Patriotic Administration Centre. Fully upgrading it costs a total of: 570 Common Samples 450 Rare Samples 40 Super Samples 50,000 Requisition Slips Because this is one of the biggest grinds in the Platinum, start saving Samples early and avoid wasting them on upgrades you do not really need until you have a plan. A good farming method is to run Blitz missions on the highest difficulty you can clear consistently. Rush the objectives, grab Samples along the way, then extract as quickly as possible. If you do not need Super Samples, Difficulty 5: Hard is a good balance between Sample quantity and survivability. Playing with a group can speed things up even more if everyone spreads out and covers different parts of the map.
Tip
Do not automatically choose the highest difficulty available. If you keep dying and losing Samples at extraction, a slightly lower difficulty will actually be faster. Start working toward the Patriotic Administration Centre early since it is currently the cheapest module to max.
Warning
You only keep Samples if you successfully extract. Super Earth may applaud bravery, but it does not refund Samples left on the battlefield.

Trophy: Patriot
Play at least 50 missions.
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Play a total of 50 missions. Unlike Doing your part, these missions do not need to be completed successfully. Simply starting a mission counts toward the total. If you really wanted to grind this out, you could start missions and leave immediately, but there is little reason to do that while working toward the Platinum. You will almost certainly reach 50 naturally while progressing through difficulties, collecting Samples, unlocking gear, and working on the other trophies.
Tip
Just let this one happen naturally. Fifty deployments later, Super Earth officially considers you experienced. Whether your squad does is another matter.

Trophy: Samples are a diver's best friend
Extract with at least 15 rare samples from a mission as a team.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Extract with at least 15 Rare Samples during a single mission as a team. Rare Samples begin appearing on Difficulty 4: Challenging and higher. While you can start finding them on Difficulty 4, higher difficulties generally contain more Samples and make reaching 15 much easier. Press the Touch Pad during the mission to check: How many Rare Samples your squad is currently carrying. How many Rare Samples are available in the mission. The important part is that this trophy counts Rare Samples carried across the entire squad. You personally do not need to hold all 15. Search points of interest, objectives, enemy locations, and other areas around the map until the team has collected at least 15. Then successfully extract with them. If a player carrying Samples dies, the Samples are dropped on the ground. Make sure someone picks them back up before leaving. Once the squad extracts with at least 15 Rare Samples, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Attempt this on a difficulty where the mission contains comfortably more than 15 Rare Samples. That gives you some breathing room if you miss a few while exploring.
Warning
Samples are lost when dropped and left behind. Before boarding the shuttle, make sure whoever is carrying the big pile actually makes it onto the Pelican. Nothing tests squad loyalty quite like watching the teammate carrying 15 Rare Samples get flattened five meters from extraction.

Trophy: Science is done by quantity
Extract with at least 15 common samples.
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Extract while personally carrying at least 15 Common Samples. Common Samples are found throughout missions at points of interest, enemy outposts, and other locations around the map. They can appear in different forms, including flowers and small containers. The important part is that all 15 Common Samples need to be carried by the same player. If you are playing with a squad, teammates can drop their Samples by holding Down on the D-pad and selecting Drop Samples, allowing one player to pick them all up. Samples are dropped when you die, so if that happens, make sure you return and collect them again before extracting. You can check the squad’s total Samples and how many exist in the mission by opening the minimap, but the game does not show exactly how many you personally are holding. An easy method is to play a Terminid Eradication mission on Difficulty 3: Medium or higher. One of the possible Eradication arenas contains exactly 15 Common Samples in a very small area, making it a quick place to gather all of them and extract. Once you successfully extract while personally carrying at least 15 Common Samples, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
If you are doing this with friends, have everyone drop their Common Samples near extraction so one player can pick up the full stack.
Warning
This one only counts the Samples carried by you, not the combined squad total. Fifteen Samples in one backpack. Science has never looked this stressful.

Trophy: Ship it!
Upgrade all ship modules at least 1 level.
Type: Bronze
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Upgrade every Ship Module category at least once. There are 6 Ship Module categories, and you need to purchase the first upgrade in all of them. In total, this requires: 420 Common Samples 30 Rare Samples Once every Ship Module category has at least one upgrade purchased, the trophy will unlock. Since you also need to fully upgrade one module for Fully operational, all of the Samples you collect here are contributing toward the larger ship-upgrade grind.
Tip
Pick up every Sample you see from the beginning of the game. This trophy is easy mechanically, but the Sample cost adds up surprisingly fast. If you are farming Samples, Blitz missions are a strong choice because you can finish them quickly while still sweeping up a decent amount along the way. Six module categories, hundreds of Samples, and one increasingly expensive Super Destroyer. Democracy is not cheap.

Trophy: Caught them by Supplies!
Kill a Charger with a resupply pod.
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill a Terminid Charger with a Resupply Pod. The Resupply Stratagem is available by default in every mission and does not take up one of your normal Stratagem slots. The tricky part is getting the Charger to stay still long enough for the pod to land on it. Chargers are heavily armored and love doing exactly what their name suggests, so trying to line this up while one is sprinting around is unreliable. A good method is to weaken the Charger first, then stun it in place. The A/M-23 EMS Mortar Sentry is especially useful because it can temporarily lock enemies down. Once the Charger is low on health and stationary, call the Resupply Stratagem directly on top of it. After the short drop delay, the pod should slam into the Charger and finish it off. If the Resupply Pod gets the killing blow, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Damage the Charger first. The pod hits hard, but leaving the Charger at full health makes the attempt much less reliable. Try this somewhere open so you have room to dodge charges and reposition between attempts.
Warning
The Resupply cooldown is shared across the whole squad, so missing the drop means you may have to wait quite a while before trying again. There are many weapons available to a Helldiver. Apparently, a box of ammunition falling from orbit is one of them.

Trophy: Eat This!
Kill a bug warrior with a shotgun within 1 meter.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill a Terminid Warrior with a shotgun from 1 meter away or closer. Warriors are small melee-focused Terminids that rush in and try to slash you with their claws. This is easiest on Difficulty 1: Trivial. Equip a shotgun such as the SG-8 Punisher, let a Warrior get right up in your face, then fire at point-blank range. The SG-8 Punisher can be unlocked for 4 Medals on the first page of the default Warbond. Once the Warrior dies from a shotgun blast within 1 meter, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Use a low difficulty so you can safely let the Warrior get close without half the bug population joining the conversation. One meter. One shotgun. One Bug having a very bad afternoon.

Trophy: Get some!
Fire at least 150 rounds in one burst, killing at least 10 enemies.
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Fire at least 150 rounds in one continuous burst while at least 10 enemies are killed during that same burst. The easiest weapon for this is the M-105 Stalwart Stratagem. It costs 3,500 Requisition Slips and gives you a large enough magazine to keep firing for the required duration. Find a large group of enemies, hold the trigger down, and do not stop firing until you are confident you have passed 150 rounds. During that burst, at least 10 enemies need to die. The good news is that the Stalwart does not personally need to score all 10 kills. Kills from other sources, such as the AX/AR-23 Guard Dog, can also count as long as they happen while you are continuously firing. Once you stop firing after meeting both requirements, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Terminid missions are excellent for this because Bugs tend to gather into large groups and rush straight toward you. Pair the Stalwart with something like a Guard Dog to make reaching 10 kills during the burst even easier.
Warning
Do not release the trigger too early. The trophy checks the burst when you stop firing, so make sure you have comfortably passed 150 rounds first. Sometimes precision is overrated. Sometimes Managed Democracy needs 150 uninterrupted rounds of enthusiasm.

Trophy: Hot Potato!
Throw back a live grenade.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Throw back a live grenade thrown by an Automaton. Certain Automaton enemies will toss grenades during combat. When you see one land nearby, look for the bright red glow and quickly run up to it. Press Cross to kick the live grenade back. If it was thrown by an Automaton, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Try this during a lower-difficulty Automaton mission so you have more time to react without being buried under enemy fire.
Warning
Grenades thrown by other players do not count, even though you can still kick them. Nothing says battlefield awareness quite like seeing a live grenade and thinking, “Actually, you can have this back.”

Trophy: Kill it with fire!
Kill 100 enemies using fire damage during the same mission.
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill 100 enemies with fire damage during a single mission. The easiest method is to use the FLAM-40 Flamethrower Stratagem. It becomes available at Level 10 and costs 6,000 Requisition Slips. Once you have it, launch a low-difficulty Terminid mission and start setting Bugs on fire. Terminids are ideal because they tend to rush you in large groups, making it much easier to build up fire kills quickly. Enemies will continue spawning throughout the mission, although destroying Bug Hives can reduce their spawn rate. Keep burning enemies until you reach 100 fire-damage kills. The trophy unlocks immediately when the 100th enemy dies from fire damage.
Tip
Do not destroy every hive too early. Leaving some active can help keep the Bug population flowing while you work toward 100 kills. Lower difficulties make this much easier because you can focus on burning large groups without constantly dealing with heavily armored enemies.

Trophy: Let's call it a draw
Shoot off both arms on a Hulk and then extract while it's alive.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Shoot both arms off an Automaton Hulk, then successfully extract while that Hulk is still alive. Hulks begin appearing as normal enemies from Difficulty 5: Hard, and their arms can be destroyed separately. Use strong anti-armor weapons such as: EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank GR-8 Recoilless Rifle Focus on one arm at a time until both are destroyed. Each arm may take several shots. Once the Hulk is completely armless, do not kill it. The safest approach is to complete the primary mission objectives first, then find a Hulk far away from the extraction zone and remove both arms. After that, leave it behind and head to extraction. This keeps the Hulk away from all the explosions, turrets, squadmates, and the extraction shuttle itself. If you successfully extract while the armless Hulk is still alive somewhere on the map, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Try this on Difficulty 5 or higher where Hulks can spawn naturally. That way, you can disarm one late in the mission and leave immediately afterward.
Warning
Do not bring the Hulk anywhere near extraction. A stray Stratagem, teammate, or even the shuttle itself can kill it and ruin the attempt. You have not defeated the Hulk. You have simply made it considerably less enthusiastic about fighting.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TO20DKIlag&list=PLrUXkz1wHhUFWPTDXaQQWIQ-dr21XyJKc&index=7

Trophy: Nothing is bigger than Freedom
Defeat a Hulk.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Defeat an Automaton Hulk. Hulks are heavily armored enemies found during Automaton missions. They begin appearing as normal enemies from Difficulty 5: Hard, although you can encounter one earlier if it appears as a mission objective. Bring heavy weapons or powerful Stratagems capable of dealing with armor. Once you kill your first Hulk, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
If you want this early, look for missions where a Hulk appears as the main objective instead of waiting until Hard difficulty. Big robot. Bigger armor. Still not bigger than Freedom.

Trophy: Spread Managed Democracy
Kill 150 enemies during the same mission.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Personally kill 150 enemies during a single mission. This needs to be done in one mission, and the kills must be yours. You will probably unlock this naturally during longer missions, especially on higher difficulties where enemy spawns are constant. If you still need it, start a low-difficulty mission solo and keep killing enemies until you reach 150. The trophy unlocks immediately when your 150th enemy dies.
Tip
Do this solo if you want full control over the kill count and do not want teammates stealing half the battlefield. One hundred and fifty enemies later, Managed Democracy has been thoroughly, aggressively, and very loudly spread.

Trophy: Stalking is illegal
Complete a Stalker Hive tactical objective.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Complete a Stalker Hive Tactical Objective. Stalker Lairs can appear on Terminid planets from Difficulty 4: Challenging and higher. Stalkers are large Terminids that can camouflage themselves and follow you around. If one suddenly appears and starts ruining your day, there is probably a Stalker Lair nearby. Search the surrounding area until you find the hive. To destroy it, throw a grenade into the glowing hole. Once the Stalker Hive Tactical Objective is completed, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
If Stalkers keep showing up, do not just keep fighting them. Track down the nest and destroy it or they will keep coming back. Nothing says “stalking is illegal” like solving the problem with explosives.

Trophy: The long arm of Justice
Kill a target at a distance of over 100m.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Name: The long arm of Justice Category: Combat How to Unlock: Kill an enemy from more than 100 meters away. You can check the distance to a target by aiming at it and marking it with R1. You can also open the map with the Touch Pad and move the cursor over an enemy base to get a rough idea of how far away it is. One way to do this is with the APW-1 Anti-Materiel Rifle and simply snipe a weak enemy from long range. An easier method is to use a sentry. Get roughly 100 meters away from an enemy base, throw something like the A/M-12 Mortar Sentry toward the base, then run even farther in the opposite direction. The trophy appears to check the distance between you and the enemy when the kill happens, even if the sentry is the thing doing the actual killing. Once an enemy dies while you are more than 100 meters away, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The Mortar Sentry method is much easier than trying to land a perfect long-range shot yourself. Justice may be blind, but apparently it also has excellent range.

Trophy: The power of Democracy
Kill 25 enemies with one stratagem.
Type: Silver
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Kill 25 enemies with a single Stratagem. The easiest way is to find a large group of enemies and hit them with a high-damage area Stratagem. Good options include: Eagle Airstrike Eagle Cluster Bomb Eagle 500kg Bomb Large Terminid hives are great places to attempt this because Bugs can gather in large numbers. If there are not enough enemies grouped together, run around and let more of them collect before throwing the Stratagem. Once a single Stratagem kills at least 25 enemies, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Do not throw the Stratagem too early. Let the crowd build first, then introduce them all to Democracy at the same time. Twenty-five enemies. One Stratagem. Zero paperwork.

Trophy: The taller they are...
Defeat a Bile Titan.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Defeat a Terminid Bile Titan. Bile Titans are some of the largest and most dangerous Terminid enemies in the game. They begin appearing naturally from Difficulty 5: Hard, but you can encounter one earlier as a primary mission objective. Because they are heavily armored, bring anti-armor weapons or strong offensive Stratagems rather than trying to chip away at one with standard weapons. Kill your first Bile Titan and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
If you are not yet comfortable on Hard, look for a lower-difficulty mission that specifically asks you to eliminate a Bile Titan. The good news is that it is very hard to miss. The bad news is that it is also very hard to ignore once it starts walking toward you.

Trophy: Bot Scrapper
Play 1 Bot Mission.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Play any mission against the Automatons. Open the Galactic Map and choose a planet in the red Automaton-controlled section. Start any available mission against them and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You do not need a specific difficulty or mission type, so just pick whatever looks easiest. Welcome to the Bot front. Please enjoy the lasers.

Trophy: Bug Stomper
Play 1 Bug Mission.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Play any mission against the Terminids. Open the Galactic Map and choose a planet in the orange Terminid-controlled section. Start any available mission against the Bugs and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
There is no difficulty requirement, so any Terminid mission will work. Giant alien bugs have been located. Super Earth has chosen you as the boot.

Trophy: Cool guys don't loo- AAAAH!
Fly at least 25 meters from the shockwave of an explosion.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Get launched at least 25 meters by the shockwave from an explosion. There is a good chance this will happen naturally during normal play. Helldivers 2 has a very generous relationship with explosions, friendly fire, and involuntary flight. If it does not unlock naturally, use an objective that gives you access to a Hellbomb, such as Destroy Rogue Research Station. Place the Hellbomb close to an object or piece of terrain that you can climb. Activate the bomb, then move to a slightly elevated position as close to the explosion as you can safely manage. When the Hellbomb detonates, the shockwave should launch you through the air. If you travel at least 25 meters, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Being slightly above the explosion helps turn more of the blast into horizontal distance instead of simply introducing your Helldiver to the ground at high speed.
Warning
Standing next to a Hellbomb is, scientifically speaking, a terrible idea. Fortunately, Super Earth is not asking for science here.

Trophy: Hold My Liber-tea!
While using a jump pack, knock yourself into a ragdoll state.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Enter a ragdoll state while airborne using the LIFT-850 Jump Pack. The LIFT-850 Jump Pack can be unlocked from Ship Management after reaching Level 8. Once you have it, equip the Jump Pack during a mission and hold Cross to launch yourself into the air. While you are still airborne, you need to get hit by an explosion strongly enough to enter ragdoll before landing. An easy setup is: Stand facing a wall. Activate the Jump Pack. While airborne, fire an explosive weapon such as the EAT-17 Expendable Anti-Tank at the wall. The explosion should knock you out of the air and into a ragdoll state. If timed correctly, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Give yourself a little distance from the wall. You want the blast to throw you, not remove you from the Helldiver payroll.
Warning
If you are too close to the explosion, you may simply die instead. For one glorious moment, you are not a Helldiver. You are a Helldiver-shaped projectile.

Trophy: In the nick of time
Extract after the timer reaches zero.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Extract from a mission after the mission timer reaches zero. Every mission has a time limit. Once the timer runs out, you lose access to Stratagems and the extraction shuttle is automatically called. When the shuttle lands, it only stays for around 20 seconds before leaving. To earn the trophy, simply wait until the mission timer reaches zero, then enter the extraction shuttle before it takes off. You may unlock this naturally during a long or chaotic mission. If not, start a Blitz mission and wait near the extraction zone until the timer expires. Once the shuttle arrives, board it before it leaves and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Blitz missions are ideal because the shorter timer means less standing around waiting for Super Earth to remember you exist.
Warning
Once the timer hits zero, you lose access to Stratagems, so make sure the extraction area is reasonably safe before committing to this. Maximum efficiency: finishing the mission with literally no time left on the clock.

Trophy: Job's done!
Complete a mission but fail to extract.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete all Primary Objectives in a mission, then fail to extract. Once every required Primary Objective is finished, the mission itself counts as completed. At that point, you need to make sure your Helldiver does not successfully leave on the extraction shuttle. There are two easy ways to do this: Use up all remaining Reinforcements and die. Or simply let the extraction shuttle leave without you. Once the mission ends with the objectives complete but without a successful extraction, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Do this on a low difficulty after completing a quick mission so you do not waste much time. The mission was successful. Your Helldiver was not. Super Earth considers this an acceptable trade.

Trophy: Strapping young lad
Customize your Helldiver with new cape, armor, and helmet.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Customize your Helldiver with a new cape, armor, and helmet. Head to the Armory on your ship and open the second tab. Equip a different item in all 3 cosmetic slots: Armor Helmet Cape New gear is mainly unlocked through Warbonds using Medals. Once all 3 pieces have been changed, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
You do not need anything rare or expensive. Any new cape, armor, and helmet will work. Nothing says elite military professionalism like making sure the cape matches before deployment.

Trophy: That which does not kill you...
Be injured in all limbs at the same time.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Be alive while both arms and both legs are injured at the same time. In Helldivers 2, heavy damage can injure individual limbs and cause different penalties, such as making it harder to move or aim. You may unlock this naturally during normal play, but if you do not, the most reliable setup is to deliberately survive your own Eagle Airstrike. Equip armor with the Democracy Protects passive. This gives you a 50% chance to survive otherwise lethal damage. Examples include: DP-53 Saviour of the Free TR-9 Cavalier of Democracy DP-40 Hero of the Federation Once equipped, call in an Eagle Airstrike on your own position and hope Democracy Protects does exactly what the name promises. If you survive with all 4 limbs injured at the same time, the trophy will unlock.
Tip
The DP-40 Hero of the Federation can be bought from page 5 of the default Warbond for 25 Medals, making it an accessible option if you do not have the other armor sets.
Warning
This method still relies on the 50% survival effect activating, so you may need several attempts. Super Earth calls it tactical self-sacrifice. Your Helldiver calls it getting hit by an airstrike on purpose.

Trophy: They don't call it Tacticool for nothin'
Complete 10 tactical objectives.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete 10 Tactical Objectives. Tactical Objectives are optional objectives that begin appearing from Difficulty 2: Easy and higher. Many appear as blue markers on the map, while others need to be discovered by exploring during the mission. Higher difficulties generally contain more Tactical Objectives, so this should come naturally as you start playing more demanding missions. Complete a total of 10 across any number of missions and the trophy will unlock.
Tip
Do not rush straight to extraction every mission. Check nearby blue markers and explore areas you pass along the way. A proper Helldiver knows the main objective is only the beginning of the paperwork.

Trophy: They mostly come at night...
Extract from a mission during nighttime.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Successfully extract from a mission during nighttime. Night lasts from 18:00 to 06:00 and passes in real time. You can check the current time while selecting a mission on the Galactic Map and again when choosing your drop location. Pick any mission that is currently taking place at night, complete the objective, and successfully extract. The trophy will unlock once you leave during nighttime.
Tip
Check the mission time before launching so you do not accidentally choose one right before sunrise. The Bugs mostly come at night. Unfortunately, so do the Helldivers.

Trophy: The Real Deal
Complete Basic Training.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete Basic Training. This is the mandatory tutorial at the beginning of the game. Simply follow the instructions, learn the basic controls and mechanics, and finish the training course. At the end, you will earn your cape and the trophy will unlock. The tutorial can also be replayed later from the Options menu if needed.
Tip
There is nothing missable here. Just follow the training prompts. Congratulations, Helldiver. You now have a cape, a gun, and approximately five minutes before something explodes.

Start with Basic Training and finish the tutorial to earn The Real Deal. It teaches the controls, movement, shooting, Stratagems, reinforcement, and the general rhythm of how Helldivers 2 works. Once you earn your cape, you are officially cleared to start dropping into real missions and doing your part for Super Earth.
From here, focus on simply playing missions, unlocking new equipment, buying Stratagems, and pushing into higher difficulties. You need access to Hard and Extreme for several trophies, so increasing difficulty should be one of your early goals rather than staying on the lowest settings for too long. Play both Terminid and Automaton missions along the way so Bot Scrapper and Bug Stomper take care of themselves, and jump into a planet defense mission when one is available for Extractinating the Countryside.
Most importantly, pick up Samples whenever you see them and extract with them whenever possible. Ship upgrades are one of the longest parts of the Platinum, requiring a large amount of Common, Rare, and Super Samples, so leaving them behind early only creates more grinding later. Managed Democracy is important, but so is remembering to grab the glowing science rocks before getting on the shuttle.
Once you have better weapons, stronger Stratagems, and access to higher difficulties, start deliberately working on the more specific mission trophies. Hard difficulty is enough for trophies like Extractamundo and Hold my primary, I'm going in!, while Extreme opens up Hell Dive and Gone in 360 seconds! These are much easier with a coordinated squad, so this is where teamwork starts mattering more than simply surviving the mission.
You can also knock out a huge number of combat trophies during normal play. Kill a Hulk for Nothing is bigger than Freedom and a Bile Titan for The taller they are..., finish Tactical Objectives for They don't call it Tacticool for nothin', throw back a grenade for Hot Potato!, heal another Helldiver with a Stim for Democracy ain't done with you yet, and perform an assisted reload for Promote Synergy. Keep an eye out for opportunities to launch yourself 25 meters with an explosion for Cool guys don't loo- AAAAH!, ragdoll yourself while using the Jump Pack for Hold My Liber-tea!, and kill a Bug Warrior with a shotgun from point-blank range for Eat This!
Several trophies work best when you intentionally build around them. Bring fire-based equipment when attempting Kill it with fire!, use a weapon capable of sustaining a 150-round burst for Get some!, and look for a large enough enemy group when attempting The power of Democracy. Caught them by Supplies! requires killing a Charger with a Resupply Pod, while Let's call it a draw asks you to remove both arms from a Hulk and then extract while leaving it alive. These are much less frustrating when you go into the mission knowing exactly what you are trying to set up.
By now, you should be comfortable on Hard and Extreme and have enough equipment unlocked to start tackling the harder team-based challenges. Hell Dive requires completing an Extreme mission or higher without anyone dying, while Hold my primary, I'm going in! requires completing a full Hard mission or higher without anyone firing a primary or support weapon. These are best attempted with players who know the plan before the mission begins rather than hoping three strangers accidentally cooperate.
Gone in 360 seconds! is another one to plan around. You need to complete a full Extreme Blitz mission and successfully extract in under 6 minutes, so speed matters more than clearing every enemy or optional objective. Similarly, Extractamundo requires a full squad to successfully extract from a Hard difficulty mission or higher. Good communication makes all of these dramatically easier.
Keep collecting Samples throughout this stage. Samples are a diver's best friend requires your team to extract with at least 15 Rare Samples in one mission, while Science is done by quantity requires at least 15 Common Samples. The larger goal is still your ship upgrades, so keep vacuuming up Samples even after those individual trophies are finished. If something glows and Super Earth has not specifically told you not to touch it, assume it belongs in your pocket.
Once the challenge trophies are finished, check what is left and clean up the miscellaneous and cumulative requirements. Spread Managed Democracy requires 150 enemy kills in a single mission, while trophies like It's the only way to be sure... require coordinating 6 Orbital Barrage Stratagems in the same place at once. The long arm of Justice needs a kill from more than 100 meters away, and Stalking is illegal requires completing a Stalker Hive Tactical Objective.
A few trophies are built around things going slightly wrong. In the nick of time requires extracting after the mission timer reaches zero, while Job's done! requires completing the mission objective but failing to extract. They mostly come at night... simply asks you to successfully extract during nighttime. That which does not kill you... requires being injured in every limb at the same time, which may happen naturally given the average Helldivers mission's relationship with personal safety.
If you still need ship upgrades or cumulative progress, keep running missions and prioritizing Samples. There is no need to rush every trophy immediately; a large portion of the list will happen naturally while leveling, unlocking gear, and contributing to the Galactic War.
By the end, you will have survived Bugs, Bots, friendly fire, orbital bombardments, questionable squad decisions, and at least one teammate who threw an Eagle strike directly onto the extraction point.
In other words, a completely successful deployment for Super Earth.
