Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies.
Type: Platinum
Unlock Details
Obtain all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies.
Collectible
Trophy: All Ancient Vessels found
Found all the Ancient Vessels.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
There are 12 Ancient Vessels split into three sets of four, and they are found inside Ancient Debris across the world. These look like old mugs and are marked as very rare items, so they are easy to identify once you spot them. Use your Focus or collectible maps from merchants to help track them down, just like Metal Flowers. These are usually tucked into ruins or hidden spots, so explore thoroughly when entering old structures. They can be traded in Meridian for shards and rewards, but let’s be honest, you are really just collecting ancient coffee mugs for the Platinum at this point.

Trophy: All Banuk Figures found
Found all of Arnak's figures.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
There are 6 Banuk Figures in total, usually found at high elevations in mountainous areas. Look for painted climbing paths and nearby rappel points that guide you toward their location. These are not too difficult once you know what to look for, and their elevated placement actually makes them easier to spot than other collectibles. If you enjoy climbing and exploring, this one feels more like a short side activity than a grind.

Trophy: All Metal Flowers found
Found all of the Metal Flowers.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
There are 30 Metal Flowers split into three sets of 10, and you need to collect all of them. These are scattered across the world and can be located more easily using your Focus or by purchasing collectible maps from merchants. Most are found in open areas, but one is located underground in the bunker Aloy fell into as a child, which is easy to miss if you are not paying attention. Metal Flowers do not serve much purpose beyond trading for shards and rewards, so this is more about completion than utility. Grab them as you explore to avoid a long cleanup later.

Trophy: All Vantages found
Found and accessed all of the Vantage datapoints.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
There are 12 Vantage datapoints in total, and each one requires you to climb to a high location and interact with it using R3. These are not the same as regular datapoints, so make sure you are collecting the correct ones. Most Vantages involve some light climbing or pathfinding to reach the top, so look for ledges, handholds, or nearby structures to guide your way up. They also provide some cool backstory about the old world, so it is worth taking a moment to listen. Knock these out while exploring to avoid a full cleanup later, because backtracking for all 12 at once can feel like a bit of a hike.

Trophy: Downed 23 Grazer dummies
Found and knocked over all of the Grazer training dummies in the Nora region.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
These training dummies are scattered across the Nora region and look like wooden Grazers with targets on them. Simply walk up and press R2 to knock each one over. Most are found near campfires, settlements, and Bandit Camps, so you will naturally run into a few while exploring. 1. Aloy and Rost’s House 7 2. Mother’s Watch 2 3. Mother’s Cradle 2 4. Mother’s Heart 2 5. Mother’s Rise 2 6. Nora Hunting Grounds 2 7. Devil’s Thirst 1 8. Mother’s Crown 2 9. Hunter’s Gathering 2 10. Two Teeth 1 This is easy to miss if you leave the Nora region early, so it is best to clean these up before progressing too far. Knock them out in one sweep and you will never have to think about them again.

Trophy: First Metal Flower found
Discovered a strange metal flower.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible

Trophy: First Vantage found
Found and accessed a Vantage datapoint.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Vantage points are scattered collectibles that show a glimpse of the old world. Simply find and interact with one to unlock this trophy. They are usually found in elevated or scenic locations, so keep an eye out while exploring. This is just your introduction to them, and once you find your first, you will start noticing them more often.
Trophy: Got the Shield-Weaver outfit
Recovered an ancient technology and put it to use.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
To unlock this, you need to collect 5 Power Cells hidden throughout the game. One can be found early in the ruins Aloy falls into as a child, while the others become accessible as you progress through the story. Once collected, head to the bunker in the Nora region and insert them into the slots to unlock the armor. 1. Find all 5 Power Cells 2. Go to the bunker in the Nora region 3. Insert 2 cells to solve the first puzzle 4. Insert the remaining 3 to solve the second puzzle 5. Open the Shield Weaver Outfit Box from your Treasure Boxes After opening the box from your inventory, the outfit is yours and the trophy unlocks. This is one of the best armors in the game, so not only are you getting a trophy, you are also becoming much harder to kill.
Combat
Trophy: 3 Strikes From Above
Killed 3 enemies using the Strike from Above skill.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
First you need to unlock Strike from Above, which costs 2 skill points and requires Silent Strike. Once unlocked, find enemies below you on ledges or cliffs and wait for the R1 prompt to trigger the attack. This is easiest against weaker machines since they will die instantly and count right away. Look for natural elevation like rocks or ruins during normal exploration and you can knock this out without going out of your way.
Trophy: Headshot 30 human enemies
Killed 30 human enemies by landing headshots on them.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Headshots are the fastest way to deal with human enemies, and this will come naturally if you aim carefully during combat. Bandit Camps are the best place to farm this since they are full of human enemies and allow for stealthy approaches. Unlock the Concentration skill early so you can slow time while aiming, which makes landing headshots much easier. Most enemies will drop in one hit, so once you get into the habit of aiming for the head, this trophy practically unlocks itself.
Trophy: Stealth killed 10 machines
Performed a stealth kill on 10 machines.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
You will need the Silent Strike skill for this, which costs 1 skill point and should be one of your first unlocks. Once you have it, sneak through tall grass or approach enemies from behind and press R1 when prompted to perform a stealth kill. Focus on weaker machines like Watchers since they go down instantly and make this much faster. You can also shoot a Watcher’s eye while hidden in tall grass for a one shot stealth kill as long as the light is blue, which still counts. This will come naturally early on, so just play sneaky and you will have it done before you even think about it.
Trophy: Tore off 5 heavy weapons
Detached 5 heavy weapons from machines during combat.
Type: Bronze
Category: Combat
Unlock Details
Heavy weapons are found on larger machines like Ravagers, Thunderjaws, and Stormbirds. Use your Focus to highlight these components, then shoot them off, preferably with Tearblast Arrows since they make this much easier. Once detached, you can even pick them up and use them, which is always a fun bonus. Ravagers are the easiest target for this since their cannon is simple to remove, so farm them if you want to finish this quickly.
Misc
Trophy: 7 types of machine overridden
Unlocked and used the overrides for 7 different types of machine.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
To unlock overrides, you need to complete Cauldrons, which are dungeon-like areas that reward you with the ability to override new machines. After unlocking them, simply sneak up and override different machine types until you reach seven unique ones. You will naturally make progress as you explore, but completing Cauldrons early makes this much easier. Start with Cauldron Sigma since it is the first and easiest, then work your way through others. Think of this as building your own robot army, and once you start overriding machines regularly, this trophy comes quickly.

Trophy: All Acquisition machines killed
Killed at least one of every type of Acquisition machine.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Acquisition machines are resource gatherers, often identified by blaze canisters or materials on their bodies. Strider 2. Grazer 3. Scrapper 4. Broadhead 5. Lancehorn 6. Trampler 7. Charger 8. Glinthawk 9. Snapmaw 10. Rockbreaker Most of these are common enemies, so you will likely complete this without trying. If not, a quick cleanup run around the map will finish it off.
Trophy: All allies joined
Given Aloy's actions, all possible optional allies joined the defense.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
This trophy is technically missable, since you need to complete specific side quests before starting the final mission The Looming Shadow. If you miss it, you can still go back and clean it up without a full replay, so do not stress too much. 1. Traitor’s Bounty 2. Queen’s Gambit 3. A Moments Peace 4. A Daughter’s Vengeance 5. Sun and Shadow 6. Honor the Fallen 7. Sunstone Rock 8. Hunting For the Lodge 9. Hunter’s Blind 10. Deadliest Game 11. Redmaw After completing these, start The Looming Shadow, speak with Avad and Blameless Marad, then choose to rest before the final battle. The trophy will unlock as you prepare for the finale. If it does not pop, you are likely missing one quest, so double check your list and try again. The game conveniently places you right before this mission after finishing the story, giving you unlimited chances to clean it up.

Type: Bronze
Category: Misc

If you are missing one, revisit areas where stronger machines spawn and hunt it down. 1. Sawtooth 2. Stalker 3. Ravager 4. Thunderjaw 5. Stormbird Some of these can be intimidating at first, but by the time you are strong enough to face them comfortably, this trophy will fall into place.

Reached the Core of every Cauldron and accessed the information within.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
There are five Cauldrons in the game, and each one is a dungeon filled with machines and ending in a boss fight. Your goal is to fight through, reach the core, and override it by pressing Triangle. Each Cauldron unlocks new machine overrides, making them extremely valuable. Come prepared with ammo and healing before entering, since you cannot leave easily once inside. These can be challenging depending on your level, but completing them steadily as you progress keeps things manageable. By the end, you will not only earn this trophy but also have full control over a wide range of machines.

Trophy: All Corrupted Zones cleared
Killed all the corrupted machines in every Corrupted Zone.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
There are eleven Corrupted Zones scattered across the map, and you need to clear all of them by killing every corrupted machine in each area. These enemies are easy to recognize by their red glow and aggressive behavior. Fire Arrows are extremely effective here since corrupted machines are weak to fire, so lean on those to speed things up. You cannot override them, so focus on dealing damage and staying mobile. Clear all zones as you explore and this will come together naturally, just do not leave them all for the very end unless you want a long cleanup session.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/ymUsAay5kn8
Trophy: All machines catalogued
Encountered and Focus scanned every type of machine.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
There are 26 machine types, and you need to scan each one using your Focus by pressing R3 and aiming at them. You can track your progress in the Notebook under Machine Catalogue, which makes cleanup much easier. Make it a habit to scan every new machine you encounter before fighting it, and you will complete most of this naturally. If you are missing any, check your catalogue and hunt down the remaining types. Pair this with killing each machine and you will also progress multiple other trophies at the same time, making this one very efficient to complete.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ivh_mJiKnL8
Trophy: All Recon machines killed
Killed at least one of every type of Reconnaissance machine.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Recon machines are focused on scouting and detecting threats, and you will encounter them frequently throughout the game. Longleg These are some of the most common machines in the game, so if this has not popped yet, you are probably just missing one without realizing it.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/furHtAmwkpU
Trophy: All Skills learned
Learned all available skills.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
There are 36 skills in total, and you will need 81 skill points to unlock them all. Skill points come from leveling up and completing activities like Tallnecks and quests, so you will make steady progress just by playing. You will need to reach around level 43 before you can afford everything, so this naturally ties into your journey to level 50. Focus on unlocking useful skills early like Concentration and Silent Strike to make combat and stealth easier, then fill in the rest as you go. By the end of your playthrough or cleanup phase, you should have more than enough points to grab everything. This is one of those trophies that looks intimidating at first, but ends up completing itself as long as you stay active and keep earning XP.

These are timed challenges, but the Half Sun requirements are very forgiving, so you do not need perfect runs. This acts as a stepping stone toward the harder Blazing Suns trophy, so treat this as your practice run. Learn each trial, understand what it expects, and you will be in a great position for the next challenge.

Trophy: All Tallnecks Overridden
Scaled all of the Tallnecks and accessed their information.

If you enjoy unlocking the map and clearing fog, this will feel more like a reward than a chore.

There are six Bandit Camps in total, and you need to clear all of them by eliminating every enemy and defeating the camp leader. These locations become visible after overriding Tallnecks or by discovering them naturally. Stealth is your best friend here, especially early on, since headshots can take enemies out instantly and make camps much easier to manage. Trophy: Reached level 50
Reached player level 50.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Level 50 is the max level and will likely come naturally while going for full completion. XP is earned from quests and killing machines, so just keep progressing through everything the game offers. If you somehow still need XP at the end, the Thunderjaw versus Ravager Trial at Sun Furrows Hunting Grounds is a great farming method. Override the Thunderjaw and let it take out the Ravagers, then finish it off yourself for a huge XP boost. It is one of the few times where letting machines do the work actually pays off.
Story
Trophy: 10 Vulnerable machine kills
Killed 10 machines weak to Fire while burning, or weak to Freeze while frozen.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Use your Focus with R3 to check enemy weaknesses, then apply either Fire or Freeze depending on what the machine is vulnerable to. Fire Arrows from the Hunter Bow and Freeze attacks from the Sling are your main tools here. Keep attacking with the correct element until the status meter fills and the machine starts burning or freezing, then finish it off while the effect is active. This sounds more complicated than it is, and you will naturally make progress just by using elemental attacks in combat. Focus on machines like Sawtooths or Glinthawks for fire and Tramplers for freeze to make this go faster.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Trophy Roadmap
Early Game
Welcome to the wilds. The opening hours are all about learning how to survive, and the game does a great job easing you into things. Focus on understanding stealth, scanning enemies with your Focus, and getting comfortable with your bow. Tall grass is your best friend early on, and if things go wrong, just remember running away is always a valid strategy.
Take your time exploring the Nora region and do not rush the main story. Grab early skills like Silent Strike and Concentration as soon as you can, they make a huge difference. You will also start picking up collectibles and knocking out easy trophies without even trying, so just enjoy the ride and let things come naturally.
Mid Game
This is where the game really opens up. You will have access to more regions, stronger machines, and better gear. Start completing Cauldrons to unlock machine overrides and make combat a lot more interesting. Hunting Grounds also become available, which are great for practicing combat and working toward some of the tougher trophies.
Now is a good time to start paying attention to side quests, especially ones tied to allies. There is a missable trophy for getting all allies to join later, so do not ignore side content. Upgrade your weapons, experiment with elemental damage, and start building a playstyle that works for you. If something feels overwhelming, you can always Ask Gami and get back on track quickly.
Late Game
As you approach the final stretch, your focus should shift toward finishing major side quests, clearing activities, and preparing for endgame encounters. Make sure you have strong gear, plenty of resources, and a good understanding of enemy weaknesses. The game will test everything you have learned so far.
Before starting the final mission, double check that you have completed the required side quests for the All Allies Joined trophy. This is the one thing you do not want to miss. Once you are ready, push through the final story missions and enjoy the payoff, you are almost there.
Trophy Cleanup and Extra Tips
After finishing the story, you will be placed back before the final mission, giving you full freedom to clean up anything you missed. This is the time to finish collectibles, Hunting Grounds, remaining machine types, and any leftover side content. Most trophies can be completed without stress, so no need to rush or grind too hard.
Use your Focus and collectible maps to track down anything you are missing, and take it one goal at a time. If something feels confusing or tedious, just Ask Gami and get a quick answer instead of wasting time searching around. Stay consistent, clean up the remaining tasks, and that Platinum will be yours before you know it.
