INFAMOUS Second Son Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

Welcome to Seattle, where Delsin Rowe discovers that having superpowers comes with a few complications, including an entire government agency determined to ruin his day. For your first playthrough, choose Easy or Normal difficulty and commit to either Good or Evil Karma. Good Karma is a convenient starting choice, but either works. You'll need to finish the story with both alignments for the Platinum, so stick to one path throughout each playthrough.

For Good Karma, choose the blue story decisions, subdue enemies, heal wounded civilians, rescue suspects, and complete Hero activities. For Evil Karma, choose the red decisions and complete Infamous activities. Work toward Karma Level 5 for True Hero or Infamous, depending on your path. Avoid mixing alignments, as inconsistent choices can make these trophies harder to earn.

As you explore Seattle, collect Blast Shards and destroy D.U.P. Mobile Command Units whenever convenient. Shards provide upgrades that make combat and traversal easier, while clearing D.U.P. installations helps reveal district activities. Pay attention to Karma-specific random encounters as you travel, since completing them naturally is more convenient than searching for them later.

MID GAME

Continue the story while expanding Delsin's abilities and reducing D.U.P. control across Seattle. Each district contains activities such as security cameras, hidden cameras, Informant Audio Logs, Secret Agents, Stencil Art, and Blast Shards. Destroy Mobile Command Units and interference towers to reveal available objectives, then complete them as you explore. The map handles most of the detective work, which is helpful when you're busy being a one-man demolition crew.

Once D.U.P. control in a district drops to 30% or lower, its District Showdown becomes available. Complete these battles and finish the remaining activities to work toward One Down, Home Field Advantage, Final Showdown, and Clean Sweep. There are 13 districts to liberate, but don't worry if some objectives remain inaccessible until later in the story. The final Blast Shard is tied to a drone on the D.U.P. headquarters tower during the final mission.

Take opportunities to earn combat and ability trophies while enemies are still plentiful. Use explosive ammunition crates, experiment with different powers, and practice techniques such as Neon Beam weak-point shots and Comet Drops. Keep building your chosen Karma alignment toward Level 5, and finish the first story run without switching sides. Seattle has enough problems without Delsin having an identity crisis halfway through.

LATE GAME

Finish your first playthrough while remaining loyal to your chosen Karma path. Good Karma leads to Reconciliation, while Evil Karma leads to Rebellion. Complete any remaining alignment-specific activities and reach Karma Level 5 before moving on. Once the story is finished, you can continue exploring Seattle to collect Blast Shards, complete District Showdowns, and clear remaining D.U.P. objectives.

Your second playthrough should use the opposite Karma alignment and Expert difficulty. Set the difficulty to Expert in the options before starting a new game, then keep it there through the final mission to earn Unstoppable. Expert is manageable, but Delsin takes more punishment, so use rooftops for cover, fight from a distance, and retreat when your health gets low. Collecting Blast Shards for upgrades can make tougher encounters considerably easier.

Focus primarily on the story and opposite-Karma trophies during this second run. Choose the corresponding blue or red decisions consistently, complete the associated story missions, and reach Level 5 Karma for whichever alignment remains. There's no need to clear every district twice unless you missed something important on your first save. Work smarter, not harder; Delsin already spends enough time getting shot at.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

Return to your first completed save to finish any remaining collectibles and district objectives. Destroy all security and hidden cameras, collect Informant Audio Logs and Blast Shards, defeat Secret Agents, complete Stencil Art, and finish every District Showdown. Clearing all 13 districts awards Clean Sweep. If you're missing a Blast Shard, remember the drone on the D.U.P. headquarters tower that becomes accessible during the final story mission.

Several miscellaneous trophies are easier with specific powers or locations. Use the top of Augustine's tower for Drop Everything by launching upward and performing a Comet Drop from over 170 meters. The tower is also useful for Keep It Up, particularly with Concrete's Triple Lift upgrade. For Hat Trick, damage the same enemy using three different power sources. Other trophies involve detonating cars or ammunition crates, using Smoke vents, hitting Neon weak points, and finishing exactly one enemy with a Karmic Streak attack.

If anything remains, check the Karma-specific activities on the appropriate save and finish them before considering another playthrough. There are no online trophies, and two complete story runs are sufficient when both Karma paths and Expert difficulty are handled correctly. Once Unstoppable, the two endings, both Level 5 Karma trophies, district completion, and miscellaneous objectives are finished, Enjoy Your Powers will unlock. Seattle is finally free of D.U.P. control, and you've got a shiny Platinum to show for the trouble.
