Trophy: An ear to the past
Listen to a shell.
Type: Bronze

You will earn this by listening to your first shell. Shells act as audio collectibles and are found along both the main path and optional routes. Interact with the first shell you find and the trophy will unlock immediately. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: Antique gallery manager
Activate all frescos.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
You will need to find and activate every fresco throughout the game. These are placed along the climbing route and occasionally slightly off the main path. Make sure to interact with each one you come across as you progress so you do not miss any. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: Avid reader
Read all letters.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
This trophy is earned by finding all 57 Letters and Journal Entries scattered across Jusant. There are also other collectible types, but for this trophy you only need the letters and journals. You’ll need to explore each chapter carefully and keep an eye out for subtle prompts in the environment. Chapter 1: Daymark Start by collecting the first six letters and your first journal entry. Letters are typically found on tables, shelves, or near doors, while the journal is tucked in a corner or against a wall. Be thorough, as some are partially hidden near climbable areas. Chapter 2: Migration Here, you will find eight letters, a journal, and a shell. The letters are mostly in rooms and along ledges, sometimes requiring small jumps to reach. The journal sits near a landmark object, while the shell can be picked up along the path outside. Altars and frescos appear in this chapter but aren’t needed for this trophy. Chapter 3: Solstice This chapter has nineteen letters and several journals. Many letters are placed near puzzles or interactive objects. Use the echo ability where necessary to uncover hidden areas. Journals are located in tucked-away corners or near walls that look climbable. Chapter 4: Convergence Seventeen letters and multiple journals appear here. Focus on areas where items are slightly off the main path. Some letters are behind obstacles or require timing jumps. Journals are often near landmarks or interactive objects. Keep your eyes open for small details in the environment; these usually signal hidden collectibles. Chapter 5: Mirage The final chapter contains five letters and a few journals. Most are straightforward to reach along the main path, but a few require warming objects or climbing higher ledges. Check near landmarks for journals and any objects that stand out slightly from the environment. Take your time exploring each area thoroughly. Some letters are small or partially obscured, so use camera angles to scan walls, shelves, and ledges. Journals may require approaching objects or triggering echoes to appear. Following the chapters in order makes it much easier to track which collectibles you’ve already found and prevents missing any.

Trophy: Back in motion
Turn an altar.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
This unlocks when you activate your first altar. Altars are found along the main path and are part of the world’s progression and storytelling. Simply interact with the first altar you encounter and this will unlock without any extra effort. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: Common ground
Complete all cairns.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Cairns require you to stack stones in specific spots, acting as small environmental puzzles. You will need to complete all of them across the different chapters. These are usually found slightly off the main path, often on safe platforms where you can stop climbing. Take a moment to look around in open areas, because missing one is easy if you are focused only on moving upward.
Trophy: Cycle celebration
Turn all altars.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Altars are tied to environmental storytelling and progression, and you must activate every one you find. They are generally placed along the main route, so you will encounter most of them naturally as you climb. Just make sure to interact with each altar when you reach it, as it is possible to pass by without activating it. If you are paying attention and not rushing, this should come naturally during your playthrough.
Trophy: Echo from the past
Activate a fresco.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
You will unlock this after activating your first fresco. Frescos are environmental points you can interact with during your climb. Activate the first one you come across and the trophy will unlock right away. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: Final ascent
Read all of Bianca's journal entries.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
You will need to find and read all of Bianca’s journal entries throughout the climb. These are tied to the story and are found along the main path and nearby areas as you progress. Make sure to interact with each journal when you come across it so none are missed. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: First contact
Read a letter.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
You will unlock this the first time you find and read a letter. Letters are placed along the climbing path and are usually easy to spot if you are paying attention. This will happen naturally early in the game as long as you interact with the first one you come across. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: First stone
Complete a cairn.
Type: Bronze
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
This unlocks when you complete your first cairn. Cairns are small stone stacking puzzles located in certain resting areas. Once you find one, interact with it and complete the simple stacking to earn the trophy. For full completion, refer to Avid reader.
Trophy: Sound archeologist
Listen to all shells.
Type: Gold
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Shells are collectible audio logs that reveal more about the world, and you need to interact with all of them. They are often hidden along optional paths, behind climbable surfaces, or in areas that require a bit more stamina management to reach. Make sure to fully explore each section before moving on, especially when you spot branching paths. If you consistently check side routes as you climb, you should naturally find most of them without needing cleanup.
Trophy: Acrobat
Complete more than 200 jumps or double jumps in one game.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
You will unlock this after performing more than 200 jumps or double jumps during a single playthrough. Jumps only count while you are actively climbing, not when standing on the ground. This builds naturally as you progress since jumping is a core part of movement. As long as you play through the game from start to finish without starting a new game, you should reach the requirement without needing to focus on it.
Trophy: Fresh air
Restore your stamina more than 50 times while climbing.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
To earn this trophy, you need to restore your stamina more than 50 times while climbing. While climbing, your stamina bar will slowly deplete. When it gets low, press the Down button on the D-Pad to rest and recover stamina. Each time you do this counts toward the trophy. Keep in mind that longer climbs naturally drain stamina faster, and certain environmental conditions will increase the rate of depletion. In Chapter 3: Solstice, the sun accelerates stamina loss, and in Chapter 5: Mirage, wind makes climbing even more draining. Use these opportunities to rest more frequently to rack up the total. You only need to rest 50 times, so focus on longer climbs and repeat where needed to unlock the trophy.
Trophy: Adventure buddies
Hug the ballast.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
You will unlock this the first time you hug the ballast. This interaction becomes available early in the game as you progress alongside it. Simply interact with the ballast when prompted and the trophy will unlock immediately.
Trophy: Angel's carabiner
Place a piton at the top of a wall run.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
To earn this trophy, you need to place a Piton at the top of a Wall Run. The easiest way is to find a flat wall that’s tall enough to run along. You don’t need a huge wall, just enough space to get momentum. A good example is in Chapter 3: Solstice. Climb to the base of the wall and start running back and forth to build speed. When you reach the peak of your run in either direction, press the Square button to place a Piton. This anchors you to a new point on the wall and counts toward the trophy. Make sure to aim for the top of the wall for the Piton placement. It only takes one successful Piton at the peak of a run to unlock the trophy.
Trophy: Bogeychoco
Scare more than 10 chocos back to their burrow.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
This trophy requires you to scare more than 10 chocos back into their burrows. These small creatures appear throughout the game, and they will run back home when you get close to them. You can earn this naturally while exploring, but you can also repeat it on a single choco by walking away after it hides and waiting for it to come back out. Approaching it again will scare it repeatedly until the trophy unlocks.
Trophy: Collective climb
Stop 25 pebbles with a single echo from the ballast.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
This trophy requires you to stop 25 pebbles with a single Echo from the Ballast. Pebbles appear as small moving rocks from Chapter 3: Solstice onward while climbing. When you are in range, press the Up button on the D-Pad to pulse the Echo. If 25 pebbles are within range when you pulse, the trophy unlocks. Focus on areas with many pebbles, like your first climb past the Windmill, to make this easier.
Trophy: Restored connection
Hug the ballast 20 times.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
To earn this trophy, you need to hug the Baby Ballast 20 times. This becomes available starting in Chapter 2: Migration. While standing on solid ground, press the Left button on the D-Pad to interact and play with the Ballast. Sometimes he will be held out in front, other times on your shoulder. Wait for the hug animation to finish each time and repeat until you reach twenty. You cannot do this in Chapter 1: Daymark or Chapter 6: Syzygy, as the Ballast is unavailable or frozen in those chapters.
Trophy: A faint glimmer
Warm up the ballast in Chapter 6.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
To earn this trophy, you need to warm up the Baby Ballast in Chapter 6: Syzygy. Carry the Ballast close to your body by holding L2 and R2. Walking with him close will make your character move slowly as he warms, which is required for the trophy. Avoid progressing too far toward the obelisk, or your character will place the Ballast on his back and prevent warming. Using Chapter Select to start at the beginning of Chapter 6 ensures you can complete this easily.
Trophy: Awakened memory
Use the echo on a frozen ballast in Chapter 6.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
For this trophy, go to Chapter 6: Syzygy and find a frozen Baby Ballast in the environment. Approach it closely and press the Up button on the D-Pad to use the Echo on the frozen Ballast. The Ballast is frozen, so you need to be near it to trigger the interaction. One successful use is enough to earn the trophy.
Trophy: Water piper
Complete the game.
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
You will earn this trophy for completing the game by finishing all six chapters and reaching the end of the climb. The story unfolds naturally as you progress, with each chapter building on the world and its past. There is nothing specific you need to do beyond continuing upward and completing each section. Just play through the full journey and this will unlock at the end.
Jusant starts off simple, easing you into the climbing mechanics while teaching you how stamina, grip, and pitons work. Take your time here and get comfortable with movement, because everything builds on these basics. The early chapters are very forgiving, so this is the perfect place to experiment without worrying about mistakes.
You will also start encountering collectibles like letters, shells, frescos, and cairns. Try to grab anything you see along your path, but do not stress about perfection yet. A good habit early on is to glance around before climbing too high, since going up is easy, but going back down is not always an option.
Playstyle tip: get used to placing pitons before risky climbs instead of after. It might feel slow at first, but it saves a lot of frustration later.
This is where Jusant starts layering in new mechanics like heat, wind, and more complex climbing routes. You will need to think a bit more about your path instead of just going straight up, especially when dealing with environmental hazards.
Collectibles become easier to miss here as paths branch more often, so it is worth taking small detours when you spot something interesting. You will also naturally make progress toward most trophies just by exploring and interacting with everything you come across.
Playstyle tip: if a route feels wrong or too difficult, it probably is. Look around for anchors, ropes, or environmental clues instead of forcing a climb that drains all your stamina.
The final chapters combine everything you have learned, with longer climbs and more demanding sections. By now, you should feel confident with movement, but patience becomes more important than speed.
Make sure you are interacting with key elements like the ballast when prompted, as some story-related trophies happen during these moments. The path becomes more focused here, so just stay consistent and avoid rushing the final climbs.
Playstyle tip: slow down during long climbs and treat them like a rhythm instead of a race. Climb, pause, recover, then continue. It keeps mistakes to a minimum.
Jusant is very friendly when it comes to trophies, and most of them will come naturally if you explore and interact with everything. If you missed anything, chapter select makes cleanup straightforward without needing a full replay.
Focus on finishing any remaining collectibles and small interaction-based trophies like hugs or specific actions. None of them are overly difficult, and most can be done quickly once you know what you are missing.
Playstyle tip: if something is not unlocking, you are probably overthinking it. Keep it simple and repeat the action in a safe spot. And if you ever get stuck, just Ask Gami and get right back to climbing.
