Trophy: So Long, RC

Obtain all trophies.

Type: Platinum

Unlock Details

Obtain all trophies.

Missable

Trophy: An Unfortunate End

Defeat zombie Brad.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks after defeating Zombie Brad during Carlos’s first playable section at the Raccoon Police Department. Brad Vickers appears outside the front entrance of the station shortly after you gain control of Carlos. Before entering the building, eliminate Brad by attacking him until he goes down. If you enter the police station without defeating him, you can still return outside and kill him before using the detonator upstairs. On higher difficulties such as Nightmare and Inferno, Brad can appear again later inside the Safety Deposit Room after you obtain the battery for the detonator. Defeating him during any of these encounters will unlock the trophy.

Trophy: Bookworm

Read all story files.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Read every story file found throughout the game. This requires picking up and opening all documents before leaving their areas, since some sections cannot be revisited later. Many notes are placed directly along the main path, but others are tucked into side rooms or locked areas that are easy to skip if you rush. Story files are spread across Jill’s Apartment, multiple Downtown locations, the Sewers, the Demolition Site, the Police Station, the Clock Tower Plaza, the Hospital, and NEST 2. Make a habit of checking desks, counters, lockers, and side rooms before moving on, and open each file so it properly registers. If you play slowly and explore each area fully, this trophy will unlock naturally without needing a cleanup run.

Trophy: Electric Slide

Gather all the fuses in the warehouse within five minutes.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Collect all three fuses in the underground warehouse within five minutes. This takes place right after leaving the hospital as Jill, and the area is a maze until you learn the route. The cleanest way to earn this is to stay moving and grab the fuses in a smooth loop without stopping to fight more than necessary. The timer is generous once you know where you are going, so do not panic if enemies drop in your path. Keep pushing forward, climb and descend ladders with purpose, and grab each fuse as you pass it. This trophy is more about confidence than speed, and once the route clicks, you will finish with time to spare.

Trophy: Goodbye, Charlie!

Destroy all Charlie dolls.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Destroy all Charlie Dolls hidden throughout the game. There are twenty total, and they are scattered across nearly every major area, so this requires full exploration. None of them respawn and missing even one means the trophy will not unlock, so this is best done carefully on a dedicated cleanup run. You will find Charlie Dolls in locations including Redstone Street Station, the Subway Office and Tunnels, the Donut Shop, Downtown areas, the Clock Tower Plaza, the Subway Power Substation, multiple sections of the Hospital, the Sewers, Underground Storage during the fuse sequence, a residential house, the Police Station, and NEST 2. Many are tucked behind counters, under benches, inside trash cans, on shelves, or perched in spots that are easy to miss if you rush. Keep your eyes up, down, and behind you, because these little creeps love hiding in plain sight.

Trophy: Gunsmith

Improve a weapon.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Improve a weapon by attaching an upgrade. This unlocks as soon as you combine any weapon with an attachment you find. Many upgrades are obtained naturally through exploration, so just grab one and apply it. Your gun gets better, Jill gets happier, and the trophy pops.

Trophy: Hello, Charlie!

Destroy a Charlie Doll.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Destroy a single Charlie Doll. These small bobblehead collectibles are hidden throughout the game and are easy to spot once you know what to look for. Break just one and the trophy unlocks immediately. If you hear a faint clicking or see a creepy little statue where it definitely does not belong, congratulations, you found Charlie. Ending him is strongly encouraged.

Trophy: Kendo's Armory

Collect all weapons in the campaign.

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Collect every weapon available in the main campaign. Most weapons are obtained naturally through story progression, but a few require extra exploration and are easy to miss if you rush. Make sure you fully explore side rooms and optional paths, especially during Downtown and Hospital sections. Weapons that commonly get missed include the M13 Shotgun in the Subway Office which requires the bolt cutters, the MGL Grenade Launcher in the Lower Waterway office, the G18 Burst Handgun found on the table after waking up from the Hospital defense, and the .44 AE Lightning Hawk Magnum which is only obtainable as Jill by squeezing through a gap near the second floor nurse’s station and jumping through a window. If you explore thoroughly and grab everything that is not nailed down, this trophy will unlock without drama.

Trophy: Minimalist

Complete the game without opening the item box.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Complete the game without opening the item box even once. This is easiest on Assisted difficulty where inventory space is more forgiving and mistakes hurt less. Carry only what you actively use, discard key items as soon as they are no longer needed, and combine items to save space. It sounds restrictive, but it quickly becomes freeing once you stop hoarding.

Trophy: Nemesis Down

Cause Nemesis to relinquish an item.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Cause Nemesis to drop an item by dealing enough damage to him. You do not need to defeat him fully, only hurt him until he kneels and leaves something behind. Shooting the device on his chest or using environmental hazards like generators makes this much easier. Grab the item and move on before he decides the fight is back on.

Trophy: Power Stones

Place all jewels in the clock tower monument.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Place all three jewels into the clock tower monument before leaving the subway area. This trophy is missable because the monument cannot be completed later. Collect the red jewel from the Donut Shop safe room, the blue jewel from the Supermarket using the bolt cutters, and the green jewel from the Toy Uncle store using the lock pick. Once all three are placed correctly, the trophy unlocks and you can leave knowing you did not forget anything important.

Trophy: RE: Master of Unlocking

Unlock all safes, lockers, strongboxes, and pickable locks.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Unlock every safe, locker, strongbox, and pickable lock in the game. This requires opening all locks across Downtown, the Subway areas, the Police Station, the Hospital, the Sewers, and late game locations. Some locks require the lock pick, bolt cutters, or Brad’s keycard, all of which are obtained naturally during the story. Important locations include locked containers in the Downtown Subway Station, Toy Uncle shop, Donut Shop, Garage, and Upper Walkway, multiple safes and lockers throughout the Police Station including the West Office and S.T.A.R.S. armory, several locks in the Subway Office and Power Station, and a large number of lockers and doors in the Hospital during and after the Carlos defense section. There are also locks in the Lower Waterway, Emergency Entrance, the house after Gun Shop Kendo’s, and Hospital staff areas like the Linen Room. The easiest way to earn this is to fully clear each area before progressing the story and never ignore something that looks locked. If it has a lock, a latch, or a keypad, assume it counts and open it. Jill is very thorough, and this trophy rewards that mindset.

Trophy: Sprinter

Complete the game in under two hours of play time.

Type: Gold

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Complete the game in under two hours of play time. This is best attempted after you already know the routes and boss patterns. Skip anything not required, stay focused on progression, and always return to the main menu after dying to protect your time. Jill is fast when you stop sightseeing.

Trophy: Two For One Deal

Defeat two enemies with a single shot.

Type: Silver

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Defeat two enemies with a single shot. This simply requires lining up enemies so one attack takes both of them out at the same time. Shotguns, explosives, or any high impact weapon make this much easier. This will often unlock naturally during normal play when enemies group up, especially in tighter areas. If it does not happen on its own, just be patient and wait for two enemies to cooperate for once. They will, eventually, whether they mean to or not.

Grind

Trophy: Conqueror

Complete the game on Nightmare difficulty or higher.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the game on Nightmare difficulty or higher. Nightmare unlocks after clearing Hardcore, and it tests memory and discipline more than reflexes. Stick to known routes, do not get greedy, and finish the run to earn the trophy.

Trophy: Dominator

Complete the game on Inferno difficulty.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the entire game on Inferno difficulty. Inferno unlocks after clearing Nightmare and removes autosaves while making enemies hit harder and resources tighter. The cleanest way to earn this is to learn routes and enemy behavior on earlier runs, then come in with a calm plan instead of reacting to every hit. It is punishing, but once you stop rushing and start respecting encounters, it becomes manageable.

Trophy: I Might Need These Later!

Complete the game using one or fewer recovery items.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Finish the game using one or fewer recovery items. Assisted difficulty is the safest choice since health naturally recovers over time. Play patiently, avoid greedy knife attempts, and let enemy spacing do the work for you. The game gives you plenty of chances to stay healthy if you stop trying to be a hero.

Trophy: Jill Valentine

Complete the game with an S rank on Inferno difficulty.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the game on Inferno difficulty with an S rank. You must finish under two hours and keep your total saves very low, with no autosaves to bail you out. Always return to the main menu after dying instead of continuing, or the timer will keep running and quietly sabotage your rank. The hardest part is the final Nemesis fight, which can feel chaotic and unforgiving. Stay at maximum distance, keep moving sideways, and watch his tentacles instead of his body. Once you break most of the weak points, move toward the nearest power source early so you can finish the phase before he overwhelms you. It is stressful, but the fight is short, and once it clicks, it clicks fast.

Trophy: Sensational Work!

Complete the game with an S rank.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the game with an S rank. Your rank is determined by completion time and how many times you save, and the save limit is always tight. Move with intent, skip anything optional, and reset to the main menu after deaths so the timer does not quietly betray you. You do not need perfection, just a clean run that keeps momentum.

Trophy: Survivor

Complete the game on Standard difficulty or higher.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the game on Standard difficulty or higher. Simply finish the story on Standard or any harder mode and this will unlock automatically. Play normally and enjoy the ride, because this one takes care of itself.

Trophy: Veteran

Complete the game on Hardcore difficulty or higher.

Type: Silver

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the game on Hardcore difficulty or higher. Hardcore demands more careful resource management, but smart movement and knowing when to avoid fights will carry you through. Finish the game and the trophy is yours.

Misc

Trophy: Basic Chemistry

Craft an item.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks the first time you craft an item. Open your inventory and combine two compatible items together such as herbs or gunpowder. The easiest way to earn this early is by combining two green herbs to create a healing item, or by combining gunpowder to craft handgun ammunition. You will naturally find these materials while exploring the early areas of the game, so simply open your inventory and use the combine option when you have two compatible items. The trophy will unlock immediately after the item is crafted.

Trophy: Get Organized

Expand your inventory.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks the first time you expand your inventory by collecting a Hip Pouch. Hip Pouches permanently increase the number of inventory slots Jill can carry. The earliest one can be found at the Subway Power Station Control Room shortly after your first encounter with the zombie dogs. Pick up the Hip Pouch and your inventory size will increase immediately, unlocking the trophy. There are several Hip Pouches scattered throughout the game, so you will likely earn this naturally during a normal playthrough as long as you pick them up when you see them.

Story

Trophy: Escape from the City

Make it out of downtown Raccoon City.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks automatically after completing the Downtown Raccoon City section. Progress through the downtown objectives, restore power to the subway route, and board the train to leave the area. Once the train departs and the story moves forward, the trophy will unlock.

Trophy: First Escape

Escape from Jill's apartment building.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks automatically during the opening sequence after escaping Jill’s apartment building. Follow the scripted path through the burning building and complete the Nemesis chase until Jill reaches the streets of Raccoon City. The trophy will unlock as soon as you exit the building and the game transitions into the city section.

Trophy: I Don't Feel So Good

Leave the clock tower plaza.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks after defeating Nemesis during the Clock Tower Plaza encounter. The fight takes place in the open plaza where Nemesis aggressively charges and climbs along the walls. The easiest strategy is to use the grenade launcher with Mine Rounds. Place mines along Nemesis’s running path on the ground or nearby surfaces so they detonate as he charges. When the explosions stagger him, switch to your strongest weapons and deal as much damage as possible. If you do not have Mine Rounds, focus on shooting Nemesis in the head and chest while keeping your distance. Use the dodge mechanic carefully and take advantage of perfect dodges to create safe openings for extra damage. During the later part of the fight Nemesis will start running across the walls of the plaza. Shoot him with grenade launcher ammo to knock him down, then continue attacking while he is stunned. After dealing enough damage Nemesis will collapse and the trophy will unlock as the story continues.

Trophy: I Need a Hero

Withstand the zombie siege.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks during Carlos’s hospital section after surviving the zombie siege. Near the end of the hospital sequence you must defend the entrance while waves of zombies attack. Barricade the windows with wooden boards when possible and focus on controlling the main hallway as enemies begin flooding in. Continue surviving the waves and defeating the zombies until the sequence ends. Once the siege is over and the story progresses, the trophy will unlock automatically.

Trophy: Nemesis Down!!!

Defeat Stage 3 Nemesis.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

Cause Nemesis to drop an item by dealing enough damage to him. You do not need to defeat him fully, only hurt him until he kneels and leaves something behind. Shooting the device on his chest or using environmental hazards like generators makes this much easier. Grab the item and move on before he decides the fight is back on.

Trophy: Nemesis Down!?

Defeat Stage 2 Nemesis.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks after defeating the final form of Nemesis during the last boss fight near the end of the game. At the start of the battle, immediately turn around and activate the railgun behind you. Fire it as soon as it charges to deal massive damage to Nemesis. After the first shot, the weapon will lose power and you will need to manually restore it. To recharge the railgun, push the three power cores around the arena into their sockets. Nemesis will continuously attack while you attempt this, so the safest strategy is to shoot the large blisters that appear on his body. Destroying a blister will briefly stun him and knock him down, giving you a short window to push one of the power cores into place. Repeat this process until all three power cores are inserted. Once the railgun is fully charged again, activate it and fire the final shot to defeat Nemesis. After the battle ends, the trophy will unlock as the story concludes.

Trophy: Nemesis Down?

Defeat Nemesis on the rooftop.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks after defeating Nemesis during the rooftop battle at the Construction Site. This is the first major boss fight against him in the game. At the start of the fight Nemesis uses a flamethrower and keeps his distance. Focus your attacks on the fuel tank mounted on his back while staying out of the range of the flames. The rooftop has electrical generators that can be activated to stun him briefly, which gives you a safe opportunity to deal additional damage. After destroying the fuel tank Nemesis becomes much more aggressive and will begin charging and attacking directly. Keep moving around the rooftop, use nearby cover when possible, and aim for his head and other weak spots whenever you have an opening. After dealing enough damage he will go down and the trophy will unlock as the story continues.

Trophy: Somebody to Lean On

Escape from uptown Raccoon City.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

You will earn this trophy during the early story after meeting Carlos Oliveira for the first time. Continue progressing through the streets of Uptown Raccoon City and follow Carlos through the subway area. The trophy unlocks once you escape the uptown section and move deeper into the city.

Trophy: The Carlos Express

Leave the R.P.D.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks automatically during the story after finishing Carlos’s section inside the Raccoon Police Department. Progress through the R.P.D., restore power using the battery and detonator, and escape the building as the story directs. Once Carlos completes this segment and leaves the police station, the trophy will unlock as the game transitions back to Jill.

Trophy: The Pursuer

Follow Nicholai deeper underground.

Type: Bronze

Category: Story

Unlock Details

This trophy unlocks automatically during the story after completing the warehouse section and pursuing Nicholai deeper underground. Continue progressing through the warehouse area and follow the objective until the game transitions toward the NEST 2 laboratory. As the story moves into the underground facility, the trophy will unlock.
