Trophy: Cuz Boredom Kills Me
Obtain all trophies.
Type: Platinum
Tags: Misc
Unlock Details
Obtain all trophies.
Trophy: A Masterpiece
Get the exclusive upgrade for a weapon.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Get an exclusive upgrade for any weapon. This becomes available once a weapon is fully upgraded and you reach the point where exclusive upgrades unlock. The easiest route is fully upgrading the Combat Knife since it has the lowest total cost, or using an exclusive upgrade ticket if you have one. Once the exclusive upgrade is applied, the trophy pops and your weapon officially becomes a work of art.
Trophy: Astute Appraiser
Sell a single treasure for at least 100000 ptas.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Sell a single treasure worth at least 100000 ptas. This is done by inlaying gemstones into a compatible treasure to increase its value, then selling it to the Merchant once the total price crosses the requirement. The cleanest method is using the Elegant Crown found in the Depths area during the castle section or later on the island if you missed it. Combine it with matching gemstones to activate a strong bonus, then sell it once its value is high enough. This trophy is less about luck and more about patience and not selling shiny things too early.
Trophy: Bandit
Obtain all treasures indicated on the village treasure map in a single playthrough.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Obtain every treasure shown on the village treasure map in a single playthrough. All village treasures must be collected before leaving the area permanently, as progress does not carry across runs. Village treasures are spread across the Village Square, Farm, Valley, Fish Farm, Lakeside Settlement, church surroundings, and multiple lake locations accessed by boat. Many require small keys or the Old Wayshrine Key, so backtrack once you have the proper items before progressing the story. If you move carefully, check hanging objects, locked drawers, and shrines, and clear each chapter fully before advancing, this trophy will unlock without needing a stressful cleanup.
Trophy: Burglar
Obtain all treasures indicated on the island treasure map in a single playthrough.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Obtain every treasure shown on the island treasure map in a single playthrough. All island treasures are collected from Chapter 13 through the end of the game, and none of them carry over between runs, so everything must be picked up before the credits roll. The island is more linear than previous areas, which works in your favor. Treasures are found along main paths, inside red containers and briefcases, hanging from lanterns, or locked behind short detours that are easy to miss if you rush. Clear each room fully before moving on, check above you for hanging items, and explore side rooms as they appear. If you stay thorough instead of sprinting to objectives, this trophy will unlock naturally near the end of the game.
Trophy: Capacity Compliance
Reach the top of the clock tower without the lift stopping once.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Reach the top of the clock tower lift without letting it stop even once. The lift only stops if an enemy lands on it, so the goal is to keep every zealot off the platform until the ascent ends. Start strong by clearing enemies quickly and using explosives on clustered targets, especially the tougher leaders. Watch upper levels closely and shoot enemies before they jump or drop down. Stay calm, control both sides, and prioritize anything above you. If the lift keeps moving, you are doing it right.

Trophy: Hope You Like Thrill Rides!
Complete both minecart sections without taking any damage.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Clear both minecart sections in the underground tunnel without taking any damage. Your cart health must stay full through both rides, so even a small hit means the attempt fails. The cleanest approach is staying ahead of hazards and shooting early rather than reacting late. Lean the cart when prompted, destroy obstacles as soon as they appear, and keep enemies off you before they get close. If something goes wrong, reload and try again. Once you learn the rhythm, the ride becomes more controlled than chaotic.

Trophy: Knife Basics
Parry an enemy with a knife.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Parry an enemy attack using the knife. Hold your knife ready and press the parry button as an enemy swings at you, and the trophy will unlock the moment the parry connects. You will learn this very early, and the timing window is forgiving on lower difficulties. Aim for the moment just before the hit lands instead of mashing the button. A clean parry staggers the enemy and feels great, which is the game quietly encouraging you to stop panicking and trust your timing.
Trophy: Minimalist
Complete the main story using only knives and handguns.
Type: Silver
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Complete the entire story using only knives and handguns. Any other weapon use will void the trophy, with a few specific story-required exceptions. The smoothest approach is to do this in New Game Plus with a fully upgraded handgun and a strong knife. A maxed pistol carries the run, and a durable knife handles close encounters and stealth. The Primal Knife is the best option if you have it unlocked since its exclusive upgrade removes durability concerns entirely. Avoid using all throwables, including flash grenades and regular grenades, as they will invalidate the run. Do not use magnums or anything that uses non-handgun ammo. Red barrels, mounted turrets, harpoons during the lake fight, and the forced rocket launcher at the very end are all safe and do not affect the trophy. Take fights slowly, line up headshots, and disengage when enemies crowd you. This trophy rewards control and restraint more than speed, and with a prepared loadout, it becomes very manageable.
Trophy: Never Heard It Coming
Defeat a Garrador using only knives.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Defeat a Garrador using only knives. You cannot damage him with guns or explosives at any point or the trophy will fail, so commit to the blade before the fight starts. The safest way is during your first Garrador encounter. Stay crouched, move slowly, and avoid making noise so he loses track of you. Circle behind him and stab the exposed parasite on his back when prompted, then back off while he flails. Repeat this pattern patiently until he goes down. If you stay quiet and resist the urge to rush, he never really knows what hit him.
Trophy: Overkill
Use a cannon to defeat a zealot.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Use a cannon to defeat a zealot during the castle section where you are under fire from catapults. Progress through the area until you can raise and access the cannon, then fire it at any zealot to earn the trophy. You only need one enemy, so do not overthink it. Once the cannon is active, line up a nearby target and pull the trigger. Big weapon, big result, instant satisfaction.
Trophy: Raider
Obtain all treasures indicated on the castle treasure map in a single playthrough.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Obtain every treasure shown on the castle treasure map in a single playthrough. All castle treasures must be collected between Chapters 7 and 12, and progress does not carry over to another run, so everything needs to be picked up before leaving the area for good. Treasures are spread throughout castle interiors, battlements, courtyards, the library, the depths, the clock tower, and the underground sections. Many require small keys, the cubic device, or light backtracking after story events, so the safest approach is to fully clear each area before advancing. Check hanging objects, locked drawers, red containers, and side paths carefully. If you stay methodical and resist the urge to rush the story, this trophy will unlock naturally before the castle chapter ends.
Trophy: Real Deadeye
Earn an S rank in all shooting range games.
Type: Gold
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Earn an S rank in every shooting range challenge. There are twelve total games spread across four shooting range locations, and every one must be cleared with an S rank. You do not need to complete them as they appear. If you miss earlier challenges, all of them can be replayed at the final shooting range in Chapter 14. Take advantage of this so you can do everything in one focused session. Accuracy matters more than speed in most challenges. Learn target patterns, prioritize bonus objectives, and avoid hitting friendly targets at all costs. Some games allow small mistakes and still give an S rank, so stay calm and reset if a run starts poorly. With practice and patience, this trophy is demanding but very achievable.
Trophy: Revolt Against the Revolting
Destroy a Clockwork Castellan.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Destroy a single Clockwork Castellan. These small mechanical dolls are hidden throughout chapters and give off a distinct ticking sound that makes them easier to track once you slow down and listen. Shoot one when you find it and the trophy unlocks immediately. You will naturally spot one if you explore side paths and check odd corners. When you hear that mechanical chatter, that is your cue to stop, look around, and end the noise.
Trophy: Shield Your Eyes
Defeat three enemies at once with a flash grenade.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Defeat three enemies at the same time using a single flash grenade. All three must die from the same flash for the trophy to unlock, simply stunning them is not enough. The easiest method is in the Quarry area where a group of crows gathers in the open space. Toss a flash grenade into the group and the trophy will pop instantly since the crows count as enemies. If you miss that, later areas with exposed parasites also work, just wait until three enemies are close together before throwing the flash. Timing matters more than aim here, so be patient and let them group up.
Trophy: Silent Stranger
Complete the main story without talking to the Merchant once.
Type: Silver
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Finish the entire story without speaking to the Merchant even once. Opening his shop, selling items, upgrading gear, or repairing weapons will immediately void the trophy. The safest way to do this is on Assisted difficulty in New Game Plus. Make sure all the weapons you plan to use are already fully upgraded before starting the run. A fully upgraded Primal Knife is especially helpful since it never needs repairs and removes a big source of risk. Avoid interacting with the Merchant entirely, even by accident. Walk past him every time and resist the urge to browse. If you reach the end credits without ever opening his shop, the trophy will unlock on the results screen.
Trophy: Smooth Escape
Escape on the water scooter without taking any damage.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Escape on the water scooter at the end of the game without taking any damage. The scooter’s health must stay full from start to finish for the trophy to unlock. You do not need to rush this section. Steer smoothly, slow down when visibility tightens, and give debris and walls plenty of space. Focus on clean lines instead of speed and you will cruise out safely with Ashley and the trophy intact.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/MENbS3r2lNE
Trophy: Talk About Near-Death Experience!
Rescue Ashley as she is being carried away by an enemy.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Rescue Ashley after an enemy starts carrying her away. When this happens, an on screen indicator appears and Ashley will not be subtle about needing help. Locate the enemy holding her and shoot them before the timer runs out to free her and unlock the trophy. This can happen naturally during normal play, so do not panic when it triggers. Just act quickly, aim carefully, and maybe apologize to Ashley afterward for letting it get that close.
Trophy: Trick Shot
Destroy five shooting range targets with a single shot.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Destroy five targets with a single bullet at the shooting range. The easiest way to do this is at the final shooting range in Chapter 14. Play a challenge that gives you the Punisher or the Striker, since both weapons can pierce through multiple targets in a straight line. Wait for a moment where several pirate targets line up closely and fire straight through the center. You do not need to rush this. Take your time and watch the movement patterns until you see a clean lineup. When the shot passes through five targets at once, the trophy will unlock immediately.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/xPilS4eI3hc
Trophy: Two Bugs, One Stone
Kill two parasites inside a Regenerador with a single bullet.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Kill two parasites inside a single Regenerador with one bullet. This is done in the incubation lab once you obtain the biosensor scope and attach it to a rifle. Use the scope to line up two parasites inside the same Regenerador and fire a single shot that passes through both. Take your time aiming and do not rush the shot. The parasites move slightly, so wait until they overlap cleanly. When it lines up, pull the trigger once and let the rifle do the work.
Trophy: Wave Goodbye, Right Hand
Defeat the Verdugo.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
This trophy unlocks for defeating Verdugo during Chapter 10 in the Underground Laboratory. It is missable because the encounter is normally a timed escape sequence, meaning you can survive long enough and leave the area without killing the boss. Verdugo is extremely resistant to normal damage, so shooting it directly with regular weapons will not do much. The key to this fight is freezing the creature using the nitrogen pipes located around the laboratory. Each pipe is activated by pressing the green power button nearby. Lure Verdugo close to a pipe, press the button, and the nitrogen will freeze it in place. Be careful not to stand underneath the pipe when it activates or you will take heavy damage. Once Verdugo is frozen, throw a grenade or kick it to knock it down and then unload your strongest weapons while it is vulnerable. When the ice breaks, switch to lighter weapons like your handgun and keep moving until you reach another nitrogen pipe. Repeat this process with the remaining pipes until it is defeated. If you want a much easier method, buy the Rocket Launcher from the Merchant just outside the laboratory. Freeze Verdugo once and fire the rocket to instantly kill it on any difficulty.
Trophy: You Talk Too Much!
Throw a grenade into Ramón Salazar's mouth.
Type: Bronze
Category: Missable
Unlock Details
Throw a grenade into Ramón Salazar’s mouth during his boss fight. You must land the grenade while his mouth is open and exposed, which happens several times during the encounter. The easiest moment is right at the start of the fight when he moves toward you and opens up almost immediately. Have a grenade equipped, aim quickly, and throw it before he retreats. It is more about timing than precision, and once it lands, the trophy unlocks instantly.
Trophy: Revolution Wind-up
Destroy all Clockwork Castellans.
Type: Silver
Category: Collectible
Unlock Details
Destroy all Clockwork Castellans hidden throughout the game. There is one Castellan per chapter, and each emits a distinct mechanical sound that helps give away its position. These collectibles carry across playthroughs, so you do not need to destroy them all in a single run. Explore thoroughly, liste carefully, and check unusual corners and elevated spots. Once the final Castellan is destroyed, the trophy unlocks and you can finally enjoy the silence.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/WDMenMXIAMs
Trophy: Frugalist
Complete the main story without using a recovery item.
Type: Silver
Category: Grind
Unlock Details
Finish the entire story without using a single recovery item. That means no sprays, no herbs, no mixed herbs, no eggs, no fish, and no snakes from start to finish. The easiest and cleanest way is to do this on Assisted difficulty. When your health drops into danger, it slowly regenerates on its own as long as you are not taking hits, which removes the need to heal entirely. Play carefully, back off when things get messy, and let the regeneration do the work. You do not need to be perfect, just patient. If you attempt this on higher difficulties, health does not regenerate at all, so avoiding damage becomes far more important. This is still doable with experience, but Assisted keeps this trophy calm and controlled instead of stressful.
Trophy: Amateur Shooter
Complete a game at the shooting range.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
You will unlock this trophy by completing any shooting range game. The shooting range becomes available once you reach the Merchant in the castle section of the game during Chapter 9. Inside the shooting range you can choose from several short mini games where the objective is to shoot pirate themed targets as quickly and accurately as possible. Each challenge has a specific weapon loadout and a score requirement. For this trophy you only need to finish one of the shooting range games, regardless of your score. Simply complete a single round and the trophy will unlock at the end of the challenge. If you plan to complete all shooting range challenges for other trophies, you will naturally earn this one along the way.
Trophy: Gun Fanatic
Obtain all weapons.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Obtain every weapon in the game at least once. A weapon only counts when it has been placed into your attaché case, so anything left sitting in storage will not register toward the trophy. Most weapons are purchased from the Merchant or found naturally during the story, while others unlock through challenges, side content, or New Game Plus. The cleanest approach is to buy or acquire every weapon as it becomes available and briefly place it into your case before swapping it back out. If the trophy does not unlock, double check that every unlocked weapon has actually touched your inventory at least once.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/vUQONpKuydI
Trophy: Jack of All Trades
Complete all requests from the Merchant.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete every request given by the Merchant and turn them all in. Requests are optional side tasks found throughout the story and many of them are tied to specific areas that cannot be revisited later. The safest way to earn this is to complete requests as soon as they appear and avoid pushing the story forward until they are finished. If you miss any, they can be completed later in New Game Plus. Once the final request is turned in, the trophy unlocks immediately and the Merchant will be very pleased with your work.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/BLWe8DdA3cU
Trophy: Mission Accomplished S+
Complete the main story on Standard mode with an S+ rank.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete the main story on Standard difficulty with an S+ rank. You must finish the game within the time limit on a fresh New Game, not New Game Plus, and the clock keeps running during cutscenes and deaths. The cleanest approach is using any bonus weapons you have unlocked to cut down fights and bosses quickly. Skip optional detours, move with purpose, and always return to the main menu after dying so the timer does not keep ticking. Stay calm, keep momentum, and this run will feel much easier than it sounds once everything clicks.
Trophy: My Preferred Piece
Upgrade a weapon.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Upgrade any weapon one time. As soon as you meet the Merchant, choose a weapon and buy a single tune up, and the trophy unlocks immediately. The cheapest and cleanest option is upgrading your starting handgun or repairing the knife if it is damaged. This is quick, painless, and meant to teach you that upgrades matter.
Trophy: Nice One, Stranger!
Complete a request for the Merchant.
Type: Bronze
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete any single request for the Merchant and turn it in. Requests are optional side tasks found throughout the game, and you only need to finish one objective and deliver it to earn this trophy. Most requests are simple and happen naturally as you explore, so grab one early and cash it in. The Merchant is very polite about it, but he does appreciate results.
Trophy: Peerless Agent
Complete the main story on Professional mode.
Type: Gold
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete the full story on Professional difficulty. You do not need a specific rank for this trophy, only to finish the game on the hardest setting. There are no autosaves, enemies are extremely aggressive, and only perfect parries work, so mistakes are costly. The cleanest approach is New Game Plus with powerful weapons and upgrades already unlocked. Save often, respect enemy damage, and do not hesitate to use strong tools to remove dangerous encounters quickly. Played patiently and prepared, this becomes more about endurance and discipline than raw difficulty.
Trophy: Proficient Agent
Complete the main story on Hardcore mode or higher.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete the full story on Hardcore difficulty or higher. Finish all chapters on Hardcore without lowering the difficulty and the trophy will unlock after the credits. Enemies hit harder, punish mistakes, and appear in slightly different spots, so you will need to play more deliberately than on Standard. The easiest way to handle this is in New Game Plus with upgraded weapons and gear from a previous run. Take fights seriously, manage resources carefully, and do not rush rooms blindly. If you are prepared, this run is demanding but very manageable.
Trophy: S+ Rank Investigator
Complete the main story on Hardcore mode with an S+ rank.
Type: Gold
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Complete the main story on Hardcore difficulty with an S+ rank. This must be done on a fresh New Game, not New Game Plus, and you need to beat the game within the time limit while skipping deaths that keep the timer running. Use everything you have learned so far. Move with purpose, skip optional fights, and quit to the main menu after deaths so the clock does not continue. This run is about clean execution, not perfection, and once you settle into the rhythm it becomes much more controlled than it first appears.
Trophy: Sprinter
Complete the main story within 8 hours.
Type: Silver
Category: Misc
Unlock Details
Finish the entire story in under eight hours of total playtime. This can be done on any difficulty and works perfectly in New Game Plus, which makes the trophy much easier and far less stressful. The cleanest way is to play aggressively and skip anything that is not required to progress. Do not linger in combat, avoid optional areas, and move straight from objective to objective. Powerful weapons, especially infinite or fully upgraded ones, turn long encounters into brief interruptions instead of roadblocks. If you die, quit to the main menu and reload your save instead of continuing so the timer does not keep running. Cutscenes count toward your time, so skip them when possible. With even a basic route and some confidence from a prior playthrough, this trophy is very achievable without needing advanced speedrun tricks.
Trophy: Grilled Big Cheese
Defeat Bitores Méndez.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
This trophy unlocks after defeating Bitores Méndez during Chapter 6. The battle takes place inside the slaughterhouse shortly after the village section of the game. The fight has two phases. In the first phase Méndez transforms into a towering creature with a long spine and massive claw arms. At the start of the fight shoot the box on the right side to grab a hand grenade, then move upstairs to the second floor to create some distance. Méndez attacks with wide vertical and horizontal swings. Vertical attacks can be parried or avoided by moving to the side, while horizontal attacks usually trigger a dodge prompt. After avoiding an attack, aim for the exposed eye on his back to deal heavy damage. Eventually he will stagger and you can perform a knife stab when prompted. On higher difficulties he may perform a spinning attack with extended claws that cannot be avoided on the upper level. If you see him preparing this move, quickly drop to the lower floor and then return upstairs once the attack ends. In the second phase Méndez detaches from his lower body and begins moving across the ceiling beams. From a distance he throws burning beams or explosive barrels at Leon. You can avoid these by quickly dropping from the second floor or climbing back up the stairs as they are thrown. When Méndez grabs explosive barrels, shoot them before he throws them to damage him. He will also occasionally move close to attack directly. Dodge the attacks when prompted and continue damaging him during his recovery windows until he is defeated.
Trophy: Harpoon Hurler
Defeat Del Lago.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
You will earn this trophy after defeating Del Lago at the end of Chapter 3. This is the first boss encounter in the game and it takes place on the lake after Leon investigates the boat house. Instead of using your normal weapons, this fight is handled entirely with harpoons. Hold L1 to aim and press R2 to throw, or release L1 to launch the harpoon. Harpoons are unlimited so focus on accuracy rather than conserving ammo. Del Lago will drag your boat around the lake while occasionally surfacing. Throw harpoons whenever the monster is visible and try not to miss too many throws. At the same time you must steer the boat left or right with the left stick to avoid floating debris that can damage and eventually destroy the boat. Sometimes Del Lago will swim away and charge straight toward you with its mouth open. This is the best moment to attack because harpoons thrown into the mouth deal heavy damage. The fight does not have strict phases, but Del Lago becomes more aggressive the longer the battle lasts. With steady hits it usually takes around fifteen to thirty harpoons to defeat it.
Trophy: No Thanks, Bro!
Defeat Ramón Salazar.
Type: Silver
Category: Story
Unlock Details
You will earn this trophy after defeating Ramón Salazar at the end of Chapter 12. This fight takes place in a large arena inside the castle after Salazar mutates with Las Plagas. During the fight Salazar will move around the arena walls and attack from a distance. Your goal is to damage the exposed mouth whenever it opens while avoiding his attacks. His most dangerous move is a close range grab attack that can instantly kill Leon, so keep your distance whenever possible. Salazar will also spit black bile projectiles and drop explosive pools around the arena. Stay mobile and keep an eye on the floor so you do not run into them while repositioning. When he stops to attack or expose his mouth, fire powerful weapons like the rifle or shotgun to deal heavy damage. After taking enough damage he will collapse onto the ground, giving you a chance to run up and perform a knife attack. Continue avoiding his attacks and hitting the exposed weak point until he is defeated. A very fast method for this fight is using Gold Eggs. One can be found on the small chicken island in the lake during Chapter 4 and another in the castle throne room in Chapter 12. Throwing a Gold Egg at Salazar deals massive damage and can nearly end the fight immediately.
Trophy: Promising Agent
Complete the main story on Standard mode or higher.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
Complete the full story on Standard difficulty or higher. Finish all chapters without lowering the difficulty to Assisted and the trophy will unlock after the credits. This is a straightforward completion trophy meant to let you learn the game systems at a steady pace. Play normally, explore when it feels safe, and get comfortable with combat and upgrades. Nothing fancy is required here, just see it through.
Trophy: You Used to Be a Good Guy
Defeat Jack Krauser.
Type: Bronze
Category: Story
Unlock Details
This trophy unlocks after defeating Jack Krauser during Chapter 14. The fight takes place across several areas of ancient ruins and is one of the longest boss encounters in the game. The first part of the battle has Krauser attacking from above with explosive bolts. Take cover behind the broken columns and use the moments when he reloads to fire back, preferably with a rifle like the Stingray. After taking enough damage he will jump down to your level and attack up close, where you will need to parry his knife strikes and punish him with shotgun or SMG shots before he retreats. As you progress through the ruins, Krauser will set traps including bear traps, mines, and motion activated turrets. Move carefully and watch the ground so you do not run into them while advancing through the area. Eventually you will reach a section filled with pillars where the fight becomes more focused on close combat. Use the pillars for cover while shooting Krauser from a distance. When he closes in, be ready to parry his knife attacks and avoid his roundhouse kicks. Continue damaging him whenever he is exposed until he retreats again. The final phase takes place in a circular arena with two levels. Use the ladders to create distance and shoot his legs when he approaches with his shielded arm. When he takes enough damage he will stagger, giving you a chance to land additional attacks. Keep moving, parry his knife strikes when necessary, and avoid his grab attack until he is finally defeated.
Trophy: You're Small Time!
Defeat Osmund Saddler.
Type: Gold
Category: Story
Unlock Details
You will earn this trophy after defeating Osmund Saddler, the final boss of Resident Evil 4 Remake, at the end of Chapter 16. Saddler is a large and aggressive enemy that attacks with sweeping claw strikes and long range bile attacks. Stay mobile and keep some distance so you can react to his movements and avoid getting cornered. His main weak points are the glowing eyes located on his legs. Focus your attacks on these eyes whenever they are exposed. Once you destroy all four, Saddler will collapse to the ground and expose the large eye on his head. Run in and perform the knife attack prompt to deal heavy damage. During the fight Saddler will jump around the arena and destroy parts of the platforms, limiting your movement. Try to stay near the center of the arena so you have space to dodge his attacks. Explosive barrels around the area can also be used to deal extra damage when he gets close. Later in the fight Saddler summons Novistador enemies while continuing his attacks. Try not to get distracted by them and keep focusing on damaging the boss whenever the eyes are visible. After taking enough damage Saddler will transform again and the final phase begins. This part is a short timed sequence where you must dodge his attacks until Ada throws you a special Rocket Launcher. Aim at the large orange weak point and fire to finish the fight and complete the story.
Video Guide: https://www.youtube.com/embed/9Ew0wtNrwkg
Resident Evil 4 Remake begins in the rural village where Leon’s mission quickly goes from investigation to full survival mode. The early chapters teach you the core systems like parrying with the knife, managing ammo, and positioning during fights. Take your time learning these mechanics because the game rewards smart play more than reckless shooting. If you try to brute force every encounter you will run out of ammo faster than you expect.
Exploration is your best friend during the early game. Many buildings hide treasures, crafting resources, and valuables you can sell to the Merchant for upgrades. The Merchant will quickly become your favorite character because weapon upgrades make a huge difference in combat. A helpful tip is to pick a couple of weapons you enjoy and upgrade those instead of spreading your money across everything.
Some small challenges and requests also appear early on. Completing Merchant requests as you find them is a great habit because it earns spinels that unlock powerful upgrades later. If you ever feel unsure about where to go next or what to upgrade first, just Ask Gami for a quick tip while you are playing.
The castle section is where the game really opens up in terms of enemy variety, combat difficulty, and puzzles. You will start facing stronger enemies, armored opponents, and larger combat arenas that test everything you learned in the village. Stay calm and play methodically. A good player tip here is to always eliminate ranged enemies first because they can ruin your positioning during fights.
By this point you should have a few upgraded weapons and a decent supply of resources. Continue collecting treasures and completing Merchant requests whenever possible because the rewards become more valuable later. The shooting range also appears during this part of the game, which is worth visiting because charms can give useful bonuses for the rest of your playthrough.
This part of the game also introduces some tougher boss encounters and multi stage fights. They can look intimidating at first, but once you recognize their attack patterns they become much more manageable. If a boss keeps giving you trouble, take a moment to watch how they move instead of rushing damage. And if you're stuck, remember you can Ask Gami for quick strategy help.
The final chapters take place on the island and ramp up the action with tougher enemies, heavier weapons, and faster combat encounters. Enemies become more aggressive here, so good positioning and careful resource management matter more than ever. Try to keep a balanced inventory of ammo, healing items, and grenades because things can get chaotic quickly.
You should also continue upgrading your favorite weapons through the Merchant whenever possible. At this point in the game, fully upgraded weapons can make encounters dramatically easier. One helpful tip is to keep at least one powerful weapon ready for bosses while using handguns or rifles for regular enemies to conserve ammo.
If you are going for the platinum trophy, this is also a good time to keep certain challenge trophies in mind such as speedrun attempts or special playthrough conditions. Some of these are easier to complete on separate runs, so do not stress about finishing everything in your first playthrough.
After finishing the main story, most remaining trophies can be completed through additional playthroughs or specific challenge runs. Resident Evil 4 Remake encourages replaying the game with different difficulty settings, speedrun goals, and weapon restrictions. Fortunately, once you know the layout of the game these runs become much faster and more enjoyable.
Many collectible trophies such as destroying Clockwork Castellans or completing Merchant requests can also be cleaned up during later runs. Take advantage of New Game Plus upgrades and stronger weapons to make these objectives easier. Sometimes the best strategy is simply coming back stronger and more prepared.
Most importantly, remember that the platinum trophy here is meant to be challenging but also fun. Stay patient, enjoy the ride, and do not hesitate to Ask Gami if you need help finding collectibles, planning challenge runs, or defeating a tricky boss. You have made it this far, so the platinum is definitely within reach.
