Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

Your journey through Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy begins with Sophia, a young plunderer whose adventure takes her to the mysterious Minotaur's Island. With 14 chapters ahead, the good news is that the Platinum can be earned in a single playthrough, and there are no difficulty-related trophies. You can play on Narrative difficulty and even enable Invincible Mode if you'd rather focus on exploration and the story.

Your biggest priority from the beginning should be collecting Resonance Points. These glowing white pickups are used to purchase skills, and you'll need at least 165 of the 200 available points to unlock all six mastery branches for the missable Like a warrior trophy. Unlike other collectibles, Resonance Points cannot be combined across chapter select, so search every area thoroughly before moving forward. They're only saved when you reach a checkpoint, meaning you'll need to collect them again if you die before one.

Start collecting Blades, Artefacts, and Charms whenever you encounter them. There are 8 required Blades, 37 Artefacts, and 30 Charms, including those earned through the five Theseus Echoes. These collectibles can be cleaned up later through chapter select, but grabbing them during your first playthrough will save plenty of backtracking. Also, during Chapter 2's carnival, stop and watch the entire puppet show for Theater enthusiast. Even legendary plunderers deserve a little entertainment.

MID GAME

As Sophia's adventure continues, combat becomes more involved, introducing new enemies, weapons, and abilities. Experiment with your Blades and learn how to parry, perform critical strikes, and use the environment against opponents. You'll unlock Focus Attacks during Chapter 4, opening up opportunities for trophies such as Inherited brutality. Many combat challenges can be completed naturally, so there's no need to grind every trophy the moment it becomes available.

Continue exploring each chapter carefully, especially areas containing hidden paths, small chests, and environmental puzzles. Blades found at Heroes' Graves contribute toward Plunderer, while Charms provide useful passive bonuses. Remember to defeat at least one enemy with each of the eight required Blades for Adaptable. Keeping track of the weapons you've used will make cleanup considerably easier.

Most importantly, keep gathering Resonance Points and investing in Sophia's mastery branches. Each branch contains three skills, and the total cost increases as you unlock more branches. Completing all six requires 165 points, so don't rush past exploration opportunities. Some Resonance Point locations were changed in an early update, with additional points awarded through combat encounters, so a missing pickup doesn't necessarily mean you've lost your chance at the Platinum.

LATE GAME

The later chapters introduce more demanding encounters, dangerous creatures, and opportunities to finish several combat trophies. Chapter 10 unlocks the Light Concentrate ability, which becomes useful for Refraction, while Chapters 11–13 provide excellent opportunities for completing some of the more complicated challenges. Keep experimenting with your abilities, but don't worry if certain combat trophies refuse to cooperate. Chapter select will let you return afterward.

By now, your main concern should be finishing the six mastery branches for Like a warrior. Remember that unlocking the first skill in each branch isn't enough; you must purchase all three skills in every branch. Check your available Resonance Points and skill progression regularly. If you're significantly behind, it's better to replay an earlier chapter and continue forward from there rather than finishing the story without enough points.

Continue collecting any remaining Blades, Artefacts, and Charms as you approach the final chapters. Chapter 13 contains useful opportunities for combat cleanup, particularly challenges involving Petrified enemies and the pursuing creature. The main story concludes in Chapter 14, so enjoy the final stretch knowing that most unfinished trophies can still be earned afterward.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

Once you've completed the story, use chapter select to finish any missing Blades, Artefacts, Charms, and miscellaneous trophies. The game tracks these main collectibles across chapter select, making them much easier to clean up than Resonance Points. If you're missing an Artefact or Charm, check the chapter counters to narrow down where you need to return. There is no New Game+ mode, but you can replay individual chapters whenever necessary.

Combat trophies are generally straightforward to farm using checkpoint restarts. Chapter 5's Battle Grounds section is particularly useful for defeating enemies with different Blades, stunning enemies with throwables, performing critical strikes, and pushing enemies into hazards. Chapter 10's bridge encounter offers plenty of enemies for practicing consecutive parries, while Chapter 12 has a large group suitable for defeating four enemies with a single Focus Attack. Some players have reported inconsistent trophy tracking on certain difficulty settings, so changing difficulty may help if a challenge isn't registering correctly.

The one trophy you cannot safely leave for ordinary chapter-select cleanup is Like a warrior. If you finish the story without enough Resonance Points, replaying isolated chapters won't add those points to your completed playthrough. You'll need to continue forward from an earlier chapter or begin another playthrough to gather enough. Secure those 165 points during your main journey, and the rest of the Platinum becomes a manageable cleanup session. With no difficulty requirements, no online trophies, and plenty of replay opportunities, Sophia's adventure should be a satisfying Platinum without turning into another ancient curse.
