Trophy: Like a warrior

Unlock the 6 mastery branches

Type: Gold

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Fully unlock all 6 mastery branches in Sophia's skill tree. This is the most important missable trophy in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy because it requires collecting at least 165 Resonance Points during a single continuous playthrough. There are 200 Resonance Points available throughout the game, meaning you can afford to miss up to 35 and still earn the trophy. Resonance Points are scattered throughout the environment and appear as small, glowing white lights. Each pickup generally rewards one point, although some points are also awarded automatically after certain combat encounters. These points are used to purchase abilities in Sophia's skill tree. To access the skills menu: Press the Touch Pad to open the menu. Select Sophia. Open Skills. Purchase the available abilities using your Resonance Points. There are six mastery branches, each containing three skills. You must purchase the main skill and both additional skills in every branch. The cost increases as you complete more branches. Here are the total costs: First Mastery Branch – 15 Resonance Points. Second Mastery Branch – 20 Resonance Points. Third Mastery Branch – 25 Resonance Points. Fourth Mastery Branch – 30 Resonance Points. Fifth Mastery Branch – 35 Resonance Points. Sixth Mastery Branch – 40 Resonance Points. Total Required: 165 Resonance Points. Skills you've purchased appear yellow in the skill tree, while locked or unpurchased skills remain gray. You can check your Resonance Point total by opening the Touch Pad menu, selecting Artefacts, and looking in the bottom-left corner. Once you've purchased every skill across all six branches, the Like a warrior trophy will unlock. Follow the accompanying video guide to locate the Resonance Points throughout the story.

Tip

Treat Resonance Points as your highest collectible priority from the beginning. Explore side paths, investigate glowing objects, and check every accessible area before continuing. You don't need all 200 points, but collecting as many as possible gives you a comfortable margin. Some Resonance Points were relocated or changed into combat rewards in an early game update, so don't panic if an individual pickup isn't exactly where an older video shows it.

Warning

Resonance Points do not accumulate across chapter select. Replaying an earlier chapter restores the point total associated with that point in your original playthrough rather than adding newly collected points to your later progress. Points are also only saved when you reach the next checkpoint, so dying beforehand means collecting them again. If you reach the end of the game without enough points, you may need to replay a substantial portion of the story. Secure all 165 points and purchase every skill before finishing your main playthrough.

Trophy: Theater enthusiast

Watch the entire puppet show at the carnival

Type: Bronze

Category: Missable

Unlock Details

Watch the entire puppet show during Chapter 2: Felons. This trophy is earned by finding a small puppet theater at the carnival and watching the performance from beginning to end. Chapter 2 – Felons Sub-Chapter: The Carnival Objective: Follow the Pieces of Cloth to the Church Progress through Chapter 2 until Leni unlocks a door. Continue through the backyard containing two pigs. Enter the large carnival area, where you'll see performers juggling torches on a stage. Follow the pathway behind the stage with the fire jugglers. Look for a small puppet theater with a performance taking place. Stand directly in front of the puppet show and watch the entire performance. Remain there for approximately one minute until the trophy unlocks. You don't need to interact with the puppets or perform any special actions. Simply watch the show without leaving the area.

Tip

If you missed this during your first playthrough, use chapter select to return to Chapter 2's Carnival section. The puppet theater is located behind the main performance stage, so it's easy to find once you know where to look. Make sure you stay until the trophy unlocks rather than walking away when you think the show has finished.

Warning

Don't leave the puppet theater before the performance is complete. Walking away too early can prevent the trophy from unlocking during that visit.

Collect all Relics of the Present and the Past

Type: Gold

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 37 Artefacts in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, including both Relics of the Present and Relics of the Past. Artefacts are hidden throughout the game's chapters, often along optional paths, inside ruins, or near environmental puzzles. You'll need to explore carefully to find them all. You can track your collected Artefacts through the Artefacts menu and check your progress for individual chapters using chapter select. Unlike Resonance Points, Artefacts aren't permanently missable. Any you've overlooked can be collected later through chapter select without restarting the entire story. Follow the collectible video guide for the exact locations of all 37 Artefacts.

Tip

Check your chapter collectible counters before replaying sections. This makes it much easier to identify where you're missing an Artefact instead of searching the entire game again.

Trophy: In the name of my kin

Find all the Theseus' Echoes

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Find and interact with all 5 Theseus' Echoes throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Theseus' Echoes are special collectible interactions associated with large ceremonial axes and chalices found during exploration. Unlike ordinary Charms, which are usually found inside small chests, these collectibles require you to interact with specific objects in the environment. Each Echo rewards Sophia with a Pierced Coin, which is a special type of Charm. All five Pierced Coins also count toward the 30 Charms required for the Superstitious trophy. To earn this trophy: Explore optional areas throughout the story. Look for ceremonial axe displays and chalices associated with Theseus. Approach the object and interact with it. Watch the memory or dialogue sequence associated with the Echo. Repeat until you've discovered all five. Once you've interacted with every Theseus' Echo, the trophy will unlock. These collectibles can also be recovered through chapter select if you miss one during your initial playthrough. Follow the accompanying video guide for the exact locations of all five Theseus' Echoes.

Tip

Since every Theseus' Echo also rewards a Charm, you'll make progress toward Superstitious at the same time. Check your chapter collectible counters before replaying areas so you can narrow down which Echoes you're missing.

Trophy: Plunderer

Collect all Blades from the Heroes' Graves

Type: Gold

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 8 Blades from the Heroes' Graves throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Blades are swords that Sophia can equip and use during combat. You'll find them as you progress through the story, with several hidden in optional areas that require exploration or puzzle-solving. There are 8 required Blades in the base game. If you own the pre-order Heritage Pack, you'll also have access to the bonus Hero's Blade, but this additional weapon isn't required for the trophy. You can check your Blade collection through the equipment menu, and chapter select displays collectible counters to help identify anything you've missed. Once you've collected all 8 required Blades, the Plunderer trophy will unlock. Follow the accompanying video guide for the exact locations of all 8 Blades.

Tip

You'll also need to defeat at least one enemy with each Blade for the Adaptable trophy. Whenever you discover a new weapon, equip it and get a kill before switching to another. This allows you to work toward both trophies during your main playthrough instead of having to test every weapon afterward.

Collect all Charms

Type: Gold

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 30 Charms scattered throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Charms are collectible accessories that provide Sophia with passive bonuses. Most are hidden inside small chests found along optional paths, within ruins, and throughout the game's chapters. Five of the 30 Charms are special Pierced Coins obtained by interacting with Theseus' Echoes. These also count toward the In the name of my kin trophy. You'll need to collect all 30 Charms, including the five Pierced Coins, to unlock Superstitious. Your collectible progress can be checked through the game's menus and chapter select, making it easier to identify which chapters still contain missing Charms. Unlike Resonance Points, Charms can be collected through chapter select without restarting the entire story. Follow the accompanying video guide for the locations of all 30 Charms.

Tip

Make sure you explore optional pathways and open small chests whenever you find them. Since Charms provide useful passive bonuses, collecting them early can also help during combat. If you miss any, use the chapter collectible counters to identify where you need to return.

Combat

Trophy: Adaptable

Kill at least 1 enemy with each blade

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill at least one enemy using each of the eight Blades found throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Sophia can discover new Blades by exploring Heroes' Graves scattered throughout the game. These weapons are also required for the Plunderer trophy, which unlocks after collecting all eight. For Adaptable, collecting the weapons isn't enough. You must actually defeat at least one enemy with every required Blade. You can change your equipped Blade through the menu: Press the Touch Pad. Select Sophia. Open the Blades menu. Equip one of your collected weapons. Enter a combat encounter and kill at least one enemy using that Blade. Repeat until you've earned a kill with all eight required Blades. You cannot change Blades during an active combat encounter, so you'll need to equip your next weapon between fights or after restarting a checkpoint. A convenient farming location is Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought. Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds The opening enemy encounter is particularly useful because you can defeat an enemy, restart the checkpoint, equip another Blade, and repeat. You don't need to finish the entire encounter for the kill to count. The bonus Hero's Blade included with the Heritage Pack pre-order DLC is not required. Once you've defeated at least one enemy with each of the eight standard Blades, Adaptable will unlock.

Tip

Whenever you collect a new Blade, equip it and defeat an enemy before moving on to another weapon. If you've already finished the story, Chapter 5's Battle Grounds encounter is an efficient place to work through your remaining weapons using checkpoint restarts. Keep track of which Blades you've used so you don't accidentally repeat the same ones.

Warning

Some players have reported that Adaptable occasionally fails to unlock after using all eight Blades. If this happens, try earning another kill with each weapon. If you own the Heritage Pack DLC and the trophy still doesn't register, another reported workaround is to uninstall the DLC through the PS5's Manage Game Content menu and repeat the required kills. This is a troubleshooting option, not something every player needs to do.

Trophy: Cannon fodder

Lure a Brute into killing 1 soldier while in a rage

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Lure a Brute into killing another soldier while the Brute is in a rage. Brutes are large enemies who carry heavy wooden clubs and perform powerful attacks that glow red. When enraged, they unleash several consecutive attacks, which can damage other soldiers standing nearby. For this trophy, you need to manipulate a Brute into accidentally killing one of his allies. A reliable location is Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought. Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds Complete the first enemy encounter, then take the left path by pulling down the wooden scaffolding. Continue through the house until you reach an abandoned campsite. Climb the cliffs on the left and open the small chest containing a Charm. A Brute and several regular soldiers will appear. Attack one of the regular soldiers until he has only one health segment remaining. Lure the weakened soldier and the Brute toward the doorway of the nearby house. Stay close enough to encourage the Brute to attack, then dodge away as he performs his red-glowing attacks. Position the enemies so the Brute's attacks strike and kill the weakened soldier. The trophy unlocks when the Brute kills another soldier during his enraged attack sequence. You can also attempt this in Chapter 7: Death It Sowed, during The Whole Damn Army section. After progressing through an underground area, you'll encounter another Brute accompanied by regular soldiers before reaching a zipline.

Tip

The narrow doorway in Chapter 5 is particularly useful because it keeps the enemies close together. Weaken a regular soldier first, then focus entirely on positioning and dodging. If the Brute kills the wrong enemy or the encounter doesn't work out, restart the checkpoint and try again.

Trophy: Excessive force

Break free from a Corrupted's grab with a Focus attack

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Escape a Corrupted enemy's grab by performing a Focus Attack. Corrupted enemies, also called Puppets in the game, are heavily armored opponents encountered during the later chapters. Normally, you'll defeat these enemies by removing their heads to expose their vulnerable blue tentacles and then using the sphere's concentrated light against them. However, for this trophy, you must allow a Corrupted enemy to grab Sophia while its head is still intact. You'll also need a fully charged Focus gauge before the grab occurs. A recommended location is Chapter 11: Patera. Sub-Chapter: Puppets Objective: Follow the Beam Load the Puppets section of Chapter 11. Defeat the first group of Puppets and continue down the elevator. Progress to the second Puppet encounter. Keep at least one Corrupted enemy alive with its head intact. Fill your Focus gauge by attacking or parrying without defeating the enemy. Once your Focus gauge is full, allow the Corrupted enemy to approach. Wait for the enemy to grab Sophia. When the Triangle button prompt appears, press Triangle and Circle together instead of Triangle alone. Sophia will perform a Focus Attack to escape the grab. The trophy unlocks when you successfully break free using the Focus Attack. The grabbing animation is somewhat unpredictable, so you may need to wait or reposition yourself several times before the enemy attempts it.

Tip

Switching to Nightmare difficulty with Invincible Mode enabled can make this easier because Corrupted enemies are more likely to attempt grabs on higher difficulties. Use the second Puppet encounter in Chapter 11 rather than the first, and keep the enemy's head intact while waiting for the grab.

Warning

Do not play on Narrative difficulty for this attempt. Sophia automatically avoids many attacks on that setting, making the required grab difficult or impossible to trigger. Also, pressing Triangle alone performs the normal escape action and will not unlock the trophy. You must press Triangle and Circle together while your Focus gauge is full.

Kill 4 enemies simultaneously with a Focus attack

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill four enemies simultaneously using a single Focus Attack. Focus Attacks become available automatically during Chapter 4: From Hell It Rose. To perform a Focus Attack, you must first fill the yellow Focus gauge displayed beside Sophia's health in the bottom-left corner of the screen. You can build Focus by performing actions such as successful parries and critical strikes. Once the gauge is full, press Triangle and Circle simultaneously to unleash a powerful spinning chain attack that damages nearby enemies. All four enemies must die from the same Focus Attack for the trophy to unlock. A recommended location is Chapter 12: Fading Light. Sub-Chapter: The Beam Load the beginning of The Beam section through chapter select. Progress into the first cave, where several enemies are gathered. Attack four enemies individually until each has only one health segment remaining. Build your Focus gauge by parrying attacks and performing critical strikes. Avoid accidentally killing the weakened enemies while charging your Focus. Move around the cave and encourage the four weakened enemies to gather closely together. Once all four are within range and your Focus gauge is full, press Triangle and Circle simultaneously. Make sure the spinning chain attack kills all four enemies at once. If successful, Inherited brutality will unlock immediately. This challenge may require several attempts because enemies must be close enough together for the attack to hit all four.

Tip

Weakening the enemies before using your Focus Attack makes this significantly easier. Try to leave each enemy with one health segment, then position yourself in the middle of the group. If you don't kill four enemies with the same attack, restart the checkpoint and repeat the encounter.

Trophy: No holds barred

Stun 20 enemies with throwables

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Stun 20 enemies using throwable objects. Throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Sophia can pick up objects such as bottles and throw them at enemies to temporarily stun them. You don't need to kill the enemies afterward. Successfully stunning them with a throwable is enough to make progress toward the trophy. An easy location to farm this trophy is Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought. Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds Load the Battle Grounds section through chapter select. Progress to the first enemy encounter. Look for the two bottles lying on the ground. Approach a bottle, face an enemy, and press R3 to throw it. Make sure the bottle strikes the enemy and stuns them. Use the second bottle on another enemy if possible. Restart the checkpoint and repeat until you've stunned 20 enemies. You don't need to finish the encounter before restarting. Stuns earned before a checkpoint restart still count toward your trophy progress. You can also earn these stuns naturally throughout the story whenever throwable objects are available.

Tip

Chapter 5's opening Battle Grounds encounter is ideal because there are two bottles close to the enemies. Use both before restarting the checkpoint to make the process faster. You can also stun enemies during active combat, so there's no need to remain undetected.

Kill 20 enemies by pushing them down a drop

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill 20 enemies by pushing them off ledges or into deadly environmental hazards. Sophia can kick enemies using the Triangle button, allowing her to knock opponents backward. When an enemy falls into a deep pit or a deadly spike trap, the resulting kill contributes toward this trophy. You can earn the required kills naturally, but some encounters offer much better opportunities than others. A recommended farming location is Chapter 5: Desolation It Wrought. Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds Load Battle Grounds through chapter select. Complete the first enemy encounter. Continue into the nearby ruins. Look for the spike traps built into the floor. Lure enemies toward the edge of a trap. Position Sophia so the enemy is standing between her and the hazard. Press Triangle to kick the enemy backward into the spikes. Repeat until you've accumulated 20 environmental kills. You can restart the checkpoint before defeating the final enemy to farm the same encounter repeatedly. Kicking soldiers from elevated ledges also counts toward the trophy. However, pulling Archers down from their elevated positions does not contribute to this particular requirement.

Tip

Use the spike traps in Chapter 5 rather than searching for high ledges throughout the story. They're much easier to recognize and provide a reliable way to eliminate multiple enemies. Try to position yourself directly opposite the hazard before kicking so the enemy doesn't fall sideways onto safe ground.

Burn the creature 10 times with the Light Concentrate

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Burn the creature 10 times using the Light Concentrate ability. Light Concentrate is a special ability for Sophia's sphere that unlocks automatically during Chapter 10: Parallel Paths, in the A Light That Burns section. This ability allows Sophia to focus light into a powerful beam that can burn and repel the giant worm-like creature pursuing her throughout the game. You can earn this trophy naturally during later encounters, but Chapter 13 provides an excellent opportunity to farm it. Chapter 13 – As One Sub-Chapter: The Labyrinth Load The Labyrinth section through chapter select. Progress until you encounter the creature chasing Sophia through the maze. Find a safe location near one of the illuminated areas. Hold R1 to aim Sophia's sphere and use the Right directional button to select Light Concentrate. Allow the creature to approach your position. Aim the concentrated beam directly at the creature to burn it. Wait for the creature to retreat or move away. Lure it back toward you and repeat the process. Each successful burn contributes toward the required total of 10. You don't need to burn the creature 10 times during a single chase. Progress is cumulative across qualifying encounters.

Tip

Chapter 13's Labyrinth is particularly useful because the creature repeatedly returns while Sophia navigates the area. Stay near a light source and use the concentrated beam whenever it approaches. If your trophy counter isn't increasing, try changing the difficulty setting, as some players have reported inconsistent tracking on easier settings.

Kill an Archer with a throwing knife

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill an enemy Archer using a throwing knife. Throughout Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, you'll encounter Archers who attack Sophia from a distance. During certain combat encounters, you can pick up knives from the ground or collect them after defeating enemies. For this trophy, you'll need to throw one of these knives directly at an Archer and kill him. One of the earliest opportunities appears in Chapter 4: From Hell It Rose. Chapter 4 – From Hell It Rose Sub-Chapter: At the Bottom Objective: Progress through the Trial. During this section, you'll enter a room where Leni operates a lever on the opposite side. Several Archers will ambush you. A throwing knife can be found on the floor in this encounter. Here's what to do: Enter the encounter and locate the throwing knife on the ground. Position Sophia so she's facing one of the Archers. Press R3 while near the knife to pick it up and throw it toward the targeted enemy. Make sure the knife kills the Archer rather than another enemy. If the knife successfully kills an Archer, Returning the favor will unlock. Alternative Location: Chapter 5 – Desolation It Wrought Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds During the first enemy encounter, you'll face an Archer alongside several regular soldiers. One of the other enemies drops a knife when defeated. Pick it up and throw it at the Archer to earn the trophy. If you miss your opportunity, you can return to either encounter through chapter select.

Tip

Chapter 5's Battle Grounds encounter is a convenient location for cleanup. Defeat the enemy carrying the knife, then position yourself toward the Archer before throwing it. If the attempt fails, restart the checkpoint and try again without replaying the entire chapter.

Trophy: Sharp enough for you?

Kill 25 enemies with a critical strike

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Kill 25 enemies using Critical Strikes. Critical Strikes are powerful charged attacks that deal significantly more damage than regular sword attacks. To perform a Critical Strike, hold Square until Sophia's Blade begins glowing. She'll then unleash a heavy attack capable of dealing substantial damage. The enemy must die from the Critical Strike itself for the kill to count toward this trophy. You can earn these kills naturally throughout the story, but if you need to farm them, Chapter 5 offers plenty of opportunities. Chapter 5 – Desolation It Wrought Sub-Chapter: Battle Grounds Load Battle Grounds through chapter select. Enter the first combat encounter. Weaken an enemy using regular attacks if necessary. Hold Square to charge a Critical Strike until your Blade glows. Release the attack to finish off the enemy. Repeat against other enemies until you've accumulated 25 Critical Strike kills. You don't need to defeat all 25 enemies in one encounter. Your progress is cumulative, and you can use checkpoint restarts to farm additional kills.

Tip

Critical Strikes have a longer wind-up than regular attacks, leaving Sophia vulnerable if enemies are actively attacking. Try performing them against stunned enemies or opponents distracted by Leni. This gives you enough time to charge the attack without being interrupted.

Stun 3 enemies at the same time using the skill Echo's Return

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Stun three enemies simultaneously using the Echo's Return skill. Before attempting this trophy, you'll need to purchase Echo's Return from Sophia's skill tree. Open the menu by pressing the Touch Pad, select Sophia, then Skills. Echo's Return is located in the upper-left section of the skill tree. This ability allows Sophia to turn an enemy's incoming attack against them. By dodging a yellow-indicated attack at the correct moment, she can throw the attacker into nearby enemies, stunning anyone struck. For this trophy, the throw must stun three enemies at the same time. A recommended location is Chapter 12: Fading Light. Sub-Chapter: The Beam Load The Beam through chapter select. Enter the first cave, where you'll encounter a large group of enemies. Avoid killing the soldiers while setting up the challenge. Move around the arena and encourage at least three enemies to gather close together. Wait for another enemy to initiate an attack that can trigger Echo's Return. Press Circle at the correct moment to dodge and activate the skill. Direct the thrown enemy into the nearby group. Make sure at least three enemies are stunned by the same action. The trophy unlocks when you successfully stun three enemies simultaneously. Another good location is Chapter 10: Parallel Paths, during the large bridge battle. There are plenty of soldiers in this encounter, making it easier to gather several enemies together.

Tip

Try luring enemies into a corner or narrow section of the arena before triggering Echo's Return. Keeping them close together makes it much easier for the thrown enemy to collide with three opponents. If you accidentally eliminate too many soldiers, restart the checkpoint and try again.

Warning

You must purchase Echo's Return before attempting this trophy. A regular dodge or parry won't count. The skill must activate and stun three enemies during the same throw, rather than stunning them individually through separate actions.

Destroy 100 petrified with light

Type: Bronze

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Destroy 100 Petrified enemies using light. Petrified enemies are corrupted human figures encountered during the story. They can be destroyed by directing light toward them using the game's environmental light mechanics. You'll destroy many Petrified enemies while solving puzzles and progressing through the story, so this trophy may unlock naturally. If you haven't reached 100 by the end of the game, there's an excellent farming location in Chapter 13: As One. Sub-Chapter: Surviving Corruption Objective: Unlock the Exit despite the Petrified. Load the Surviving Corruption section through chapter select. Progress to the room containing a large group of Petrified enemies. Locate the mirror in the room. Use the mirror to redirect light toward the Petrified. Sweep the light across groups of enemies to destroy them. Restart the checkpoint and repeat the process until you've destroyed 100 Petrified. You don't need to destroy all 100 in one encounter. The trophy tracks your total across the game, including successful attempts made before checkpoint restarts.

Tip

Chapter 13's Surviving Corruption encounter contains a large concentration of Petrified enemies, making it much faster than hunting individual targets in earlier chapters. If you're already close to 100, a few checkpoint restarts here should finish the trophy.

Trophy: Untouchable

Successfully parry 6 attacks in a row

Type: Silver

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Successfully parry six enemy attacks consecutively without taking damage. Parrying allows Sophia to counter incoming attacks by pressing L1 at the correct moment. A successful parry produces a distinctive sound and briefly staggers the attacking enemy. For this trophy, you'll need six successful parries in a row. You can block or deflect other attacks between successful parries, but taking damage will interrupt your streak. A recommended farming location is Chapter 10: Parallel Paths. Sub-Chapter: The Bridge Objective: Fight the Army Load The Bridge section through chapter select. Progress to the first large combat encounter, where several soldiers will attack Sophia. Allow the enemies to approach rather than immediately defeating them. Press L1 to parry incoming attacks. Listen for the distinctive sound that confirms a successful parry. Continue defending yourself until you've successfully parried six attacks without being hit. The trophy should unlock after your sixth consecutive successful parry. If you're having trouble with the trophy registering, try changing the difficulty through Settings, General, Difficulty & Invincible Mode. Some players have reported better results on Nightmare difficulty with Invincible Mode enabled and the Rusty Sword equipped.

Tip

Try the Chapter 10 bridge encounter because the large number of soldiers provides plenty of opportunities to parry. Concentrate on defense rather than attacking, and keep enemies in front of Sophia so their incoming strikes are easier to anticipate.

Warning

There are conflicting player reports about which difficulty settings work best for Untouchable. Although Nightmare with Invincible Mode is a commonly recommended workaround, some players have successfully unlocked it on Narrative difficulty instead. If six successful parries aren't registering, experiment with these settings rather than repeatedly attempting the same method.

Lure successfully 20 Petrified simultaneously

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Successfully lure 20 Petrified enemies simultaneously. Petrified are corrupted human figures that react to Sophia's movements and can be attracted by the sound of her footsteps. For this trophy, you need to attract at least 20 Petrified at the same time rather than luring them individually. The easiest location is Chapter 13: As One, which contains a large concentration of Petrified enemies. Chapter 13 – As One Sub-Chapter: Surviving Corruption Objective: Unlock the Exit Despite the Petrified Load the Surviving Corruption section through chapter select. Enter the large room containing numerous Petrified enemies. Locate the groups of Petrified scattered throughout the area. Begin running near them to attract their attention. Continue moving around the room, waking additional Petrified as you pass. Keep the enemies following Sophia instead of destroying them with light. Once at least 20 Petrified are pursuing you simultaneously, the trophy should unlock. There are more than 20 Petrified in this area, so you don't need to attract every enemy in the room. The challenge is keeping enough of them interested in Sophia without getting caught.

Tip

Keep moving while gathering the Petrified, using your footsteps to draw their attention. Try moving around the edges of the room to attract groups in sequence rather than running straight through the middle. If you get caught before attracting enough enemies, restart the checkpoint and try a different route.

Trophy: Close call

Survive the creature by a hair's breadth 5 times

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Escape the giant creature at the last possible moment five times. The creature first appears during Chapter 6: What Lies Beneath. During these encounters, Sophia must move between illuminated safe areas while avoiding the monster pursuing her. For this trophy, simply escaping isn't enough. You need to reach safety when the creature is extremely close to catching Sophia. A reliable location is Chapter 6: What Lies Beneath. Sub-Chapter: The Creature Load The Creature section through chapter select. Progress until the creature begins pursuing Sophia. Look for two illuminated safe areas positioned close enough to travel between. Stand near the edge of one illuminated area and allow the creature to approach. Begin running toward the next illuminated area. Let the creature get close behind Sophia before reaching safety. Enter the light just before the creature catches you. Repeat until you've successfully escaped this way five times. When performed correctly, the creature will be stopped by the light while Sophia narrowly avoids being caught. You can repeat the same encounter rather than progressing through multiple chapters.

Tip

Look for the area in Chapter 6 containing two nearby light sources. Moving between them makes it easier to control how close the creature gets before you escape. If the trophy isn't progressing, you're probably reaching safety too early. Allow the monster to get closer before crossing into the light.

Trophy: Sea you later!

Say hello to the turtle

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Find the turtle on the beach and stay nearby until Sophia finishes talking about it. This is a small optional interaction during Chapter 3: Those Before Us. Chapter 3 – Those Before Us Sub-Chapter: Paradise Begin the Paradise section of Chapter 3. When Sophia arrives on the beach, turn around instead of following the main objective. Follow the shoreline away from the intended route. Continue along the beach until you discover a turtle near the water. Approach the turtle and allow the dialogue to play. Wait until the conversation finishes. Once the interaction is complete, Sea you later! will unlock. The turtle is easy to overlook if you're focused entirely on progressing through the chapter, but finding it only takes a short detour.

Tip

If you missed this interaction during your first playthrough, simply return to Chapter 3's Paradise section through chapter select. The trophy doesn't require a new playthrough, and you can earn it as soon as the turtle interaction finishes.

Trophy: Unpredictable

While chased, make the creature lose your trail 25 times by jumping over a gap

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Make the creature lose Sophia's trail 25 times by jumping across gaps while being chased. The giant creature tracks Sophia as she moves through certain areas of the island. When she's running, the creature follows the trail she leaves behind. Jumping across gaps interrupts this trail and temporarily confuses the monster, giving Sophia an opportunity to escape. For this trophy, you need to break the creature's tracking 25 times using these jumps. A recommended location is Chapter 7: Death It Sowed. Sub-Chapter: The Arena Load The Arena section through chapter select. Progress until the creature begins chasing Sophia. Locate gaps between the platforms that Sophia can jump across. Allow the creature to begin following you. Jump across a gap to interrupt its tracking. Continue moving between platforms while the creature pursues you. Repeat until you've successfully broken its trail 25 times. You don't need to complete all 25 jumps during one chase. The trophy tracks your successful escapes cumulatively. Some sections contain several nearby gaps, allowing you to move back and forth and accumulate progress quickly.

Tip

Chapter 7's Arena section is an excellent farming location because you can repeatedly jump between platforms while the creature is pursuing you. Focus on breaking its trail rather than escaping the area immediately. If the creature stops following you, move close enough to attract its attention again before continuing.
