Stray Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

For your first playthrough, focus on enjoying the story while working toward as close to 100% completion as possible. Nothing here is permanently missable because Chapter Select lets you return to previous chapters, so you do not need to panic every time the cat walks past something shiny.

Start making natural progress on trophies such as A Little Chatty for meowing 100 times, Cat-a-Pult for jumping 500 times, Cat's Best Friend for nuzzling five robots, and Territory for scratching in every chapter. Keep an eye out for B-12 memories, music sheets, badges, and other chapter-specific opportunities as you explore.

MID GAME

As more of the city opens up, continue cleaning up collectibles and miscellaneous trophies while progressing through the story. This is a good time to work toward Meowlody, I Remember!, and Badges rather than leaving every collectible for the end.

Some chapters also have specific challenges worth handling while you are there, including Can't Cat-ch Me for finishing the first Zurk pursuit without being caught, Pacifist for completing the Sewers without killing any Zurks, and Sneakitty for making it through Midtown without being detected by the Sentinels. If one gives you trouble, remember that Chapter Select means you can always come back later.

LATE GAME

Continue through the remaining story chapters and finish any trophies that naturally appear along the way, including the story-related trophies leading up to Eye Opener for completing the game and opening the city.

Before wrapping up this playthrough, check your remaining collectibles and chapter-specific trophies. Your goal is to finish everything except I Am Speed, leaving the speedrun as the only major task for your second playthrough.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

Use Chapter Select to clean up anything you missed, whether that is a B-12 memory, badge, scratching location, robot interaction, TV channel, basketball dunk, or one of Stray's many wonderfully cat-like distractions. Since nothing listed here is permanently missable, cleanup should be pretty painless.

Once everything else is finished, start a fresh game—preferably in a separate save slot—and go for I Am Speed, which requires completing the story in under two hours. With the collectibles and side trophies already finished, you can ignore distractions and focus entirely on moving through the story efficiently. Two hours gives you some breathing room, so stay focused, know where you're going, and resist the powerful urge to stop for every cardboard box.
