Collect all 6 Badges. Each Badge is earned in a different way, and they will appear on your cat's backpack as you collect them. Music Badge: Earned in The Slums after delivering all 8 Music Sheets to Morusque. This is tied to the Meowlody trophy. Outsider Badge: Story-related. Seamus gives this to you during Chapter 7: Dead End, shortly before opening the gate leading toward Doc. Plant Badge: Earned during Chapter 9: Antvillage. Bring Malo all 3 missing plants: Yellow Plant Red Plant Purple Plant Once all three are delivered, Malo will give you the Plant Badge. Cat Badge: Found during Chapter 10: Midtown. Enter the first shop on the right after reaching Midtown. There is a robot wearing a white coat outside. Go to the back of the shop and open the safe using the code: 8542 The Cat Badge is inside. Police Badge: Found during Chapter 10: Midtown. Look for the narrow alley to the right of the clothing shop. Climb the air conditioners and other platforms until you reach a barred window leading into a police cell. Enter through the window to collect the Police Badge. Neco Badge: Earned during Chapter 10: Midtown inside the Neco Corp Factory. While sneaking past the Sentinel Drones, you will eventually reach a section with barrels sitting in a shallow pool of water. Jump to the right to collect a set of lost keys. Continue forward and activate the switch that opens the nearby door, allowing you to return the keys to the worker robot. He will reward you with the Neco Badge.

Tip

Chapter 10 contains half of the entire Badge collection, so Midtown is the big one to pay attention to. Once all 6 are collected, the trophy will unlock. By the end of this, your cat's backpack has more decorations than most people's gaming setups.

Trophy: I Remember!

Gather all B-12 memories.

Type: Gold

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 27 B-12 Memories. 5 Memories are earned automatically through the story, while the remaining 22 need to be found and interacted with. Optional Memories glow when you are near them, and you can press Square when the Remember prompt appears. None of the Memories are permanently missable because Chapter Select lets you return for anything you skipped. Chapter 1: The Inner Wall No Memories. Chapter 2: Dead City No Memories. Chapter 3: The Flat Memory #1: Story-related. Near the end of the chapter, after riding the bucket down with B-12, approach the mural on the wall. A cutscene will play and the Memory will unlock automatically. Chapter 4: The Slums Memory #2: Go to the top floor of the Bar. Look for the glasses hanging above a table to the left of the pool table. Memory #3: Climb to the roof of the Laundromat. From there, look for a red sign on a nearby rooftop. Reach the sign, then turn around to find the Memory on a robot. Memory #4: Return to the area where you first entered The Slums. Go into the alley where the robot originally ran after sounding the alarm. The Memory is now accessible there near a vending machine. Memory #5: After leaving the apartment where you collect Zbaltazar's Notebook, look down and to the left. Use the air conditioners and awning to reach the Memory below. Memory #6: Purchase this Memory from Azooz for 3 Energy Drinks. Once purchased, interact with it again to Remember it. Memory #7: Inside Elliot's Programming, head to the second floor. Turn left and interact with the plant to collect the Memory. Memory #8: Inside Momo's apartment, enter the room behind him that is separated by a curtain. Interact with the poster on the left. Chapter 5: Rooftops Memory #9: After passing the first groups of Zurks, do not use the moving beam yet. Continue upward and straight to another rooftop. The Memory is near a sign. Memory #10: After releasing the Zurks and leading them up the ramp into the enclosed area, use the rolling barrel to progress. Continue to the end of that floor and jump across the metal pipes to reach the Memory. Memory #11: Story-related. Earned automatically after attaching the Transceiver to the Antenna at the end of the chapter. Chapter 6: The Slums – Part 2 No Memories. Chapter 7: Dead End Memory #12: After Seamus opens the door at the beginning of the chapter, follow the path but turn left before starting the Zurk chase. The Memory is beside the metal door. Memory #13: After riding the cart until it crashes, climb to the upper level. Instead of turning left, go straight and crawl through the hole in the fence. Turn right to find a powered-down robot containing the Memory. Memory #14: Inside Doc's house, turn right after meeting him. Interact with the mannequin to collect the Memory. Chapter 8: The Sewers Memory #15: After leaving Momo behind at the metal gate, enter the narrow section filled with Zurk Pods. Instead of continuing straight, turn left and jump into the pipe on the left. Follow it to the end, then jump onto the railing to reach the Memory. Memory #16: After the long chase involving the large eye-covered walls and Zurk Pods, you will land inside a pipe. Turn left and follow the barrels and another pipe into a circular, heavily infected room. Nothing will attack you here, so walk in and collect the Memory. Chapter 9: Antvillage Memory #17: Story-related. Earned automatically after crossing the bridge into Antvillage near the beginning of the chapter. Memory #18: After speaking with Zbaltazar on the second floor, head back down using the air conditioners and wooden ladder. Look for a robot sitting on a couch. The Memory is on the wall to the right. Chapter 10: Midtown Memory #19: Story-related. Earned automatically when you reach the Subway Station at the beginning of the chapter. Memory #20: After climbing out of the Subway Station, go up the ladder and through the hole in the fence. Turn right, then pass through the larger opening in the next fence to reach the Memory. Memory #21: Enter the first alley on the right after arriving in Midtown. Find the robot sweeping the floor, then use the dumpster and air conditioners behind him to climb upward. The Memory is at the top on the right. Memory #22: Enter the shop with the yellow sign behind the large holographic robot in the center of Midtown. Jump onto the counter, climb through the ceiling, then turn around to find the Memory on the other side. Memory #23: Head toward the Residential Area from the central hologram and enter the barber shop on the right. Crawl through the opening beneath the metal bars, jump onto the couch, then climb the wooden beams. The Memory is in the far corner of the ceiling area. Memory #24: After collecting the Atomic Battery from the Neco Corp Factory, return to the plaza where the holographic robot was. Enter the newly opened office on the left and interact with the painting of a Sentinel Drone. Memory #25: Inside the Nightclub, go behind the bar and activate the counter by meowing. Once it lowers, interact with the bottles on the center table to collect the Memory. Chapter 11: Jail Memory #26: While helping Clementine and trapping Sentinel Drones, lock up the first Drone and continue until Clementine opens the gate toward the next group. Instead of going forward, turn right and interact with the robot there. Chapter 12: Control Room Memory #27: Story-related. Earned automatically when you enter the Control Room. If you collected every optional Memory beforehand, I Remember! will unlock here.

Tip

Chapter Select makes cleanup painless, so do not restart an entire playthrough because you missed one shiny wall, broken robot, suspicious plant, or other random object B-12 suddenly decides is emotionally significant.

I Remember! PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Meowlody

Bring all the music sheets to Morusque.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Collect all 8 Music Sheets in The Slums and bring them to Morusque. You can complete this during Chapter 4 or Chapter 6. Each Music Sheet must be handed to Morusque individually, and he will play the song before accepting the next one. After all 8 have been delivered, he will give you the Music Badge and the trophy will unlock after the final song. Music Sheet #1: Inside Momo's apartment. From the living room, go through the door with metal bars at the bottom and jump onto the top shelf. Music Sheet #2: After leaving Clementine's apartment, take the pipe leading left to reach a balcony. Jump onto the balcony, then onto the table to grab the sheet. Music Sheet #3: After receiving the Poncho from Grandma, scratch the door near the two robots sitting close to her. A robot will open the door. The sheet is attached to a poster directly inside. Music Sheet #4: Buy this from Azooz for 1 Energy Drink. Energy Drinks can be collected from vending machines around The Slums. Music Sheet #5: On the second floor of the Bar, on the middle seat beside the pool table. You can reach the upper floor from inside or climb the air conditioners outside and enter through the window. Music Sheet #6: Inside the same apartment where you collect Clementine's Notebook. Enter through the window, go through the broken glass in the door ahead, then immediately turn right. The sheet is in the corner between the door and the bed. Music Sheet #7: Inside the apartment where you collect Doc's Notebook. After interacting with the safe, turn left and follow the shelf on the right until you reach the robot and piano. The sheet is sitting on the piano. Music Sheet #8: In the same alley as Morusque. Go to the end of the alley and turn left to find a safe. Enter the code 1283 to open it and collect the final sheet.

Tip

You do not have to collect these in numerical order. Grab them whenever you are nearby, then bring them back to Morusque.

Warning

Morusque plays each song before you can hand over the next sheet, so expect a few minutes of waiting if you turn them all in at once. At least the collectible cleanup comes with a free concert.

Meowlody PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Territory

Scratch in every chapter.

Type: Silver

Category: Collectible

Unlock Details

Scratch at least once in all 12 chapters. Scratching spots are usually carpets, trees, cardboard, walls, curtains, or other objects that show a Triangle prompt when you approach them. Interact, scratch for a few seconds using L2 and R2, then move on. There is no in-game tracker for which chapters you have already scratched in, so it is worth keeping track as you go. If you miss one, Chapter Select lets you return later. Chapter 1: Inside the Wall Shortly after regaining control following the rain, jump up to the higher ground. After your second jump, turn left and scratch the tree. This is the only scratching spot in the chapter. Chapter 2: Dead City After pushing the blue paint bucket through the glass, drop into the room with the bunk beds. Scratch either of the two carpets on the floor. These are the only scratching spots in the chapter. Chapter 3: The Flat Near the beginning of the chapter, after jumping onto the bed and entering the next room with the large computer screen, look just past the curtain on the right for a carpet. This is the only scratching spot in the chapter. Chapter 4: The Slums There are several scratching spots here. An easy one is the rug inside the garage behind the Guardian you meet near the beginning of the chapter. Chapter 5: Rooftops At the beginning of the chapter, ride the bucket to the Rooftops. After climbing to the next level and seeing the chapter title appear, scratch the nearby rug. This is the only scratching spot in the chapter. Chapter 6: The Slums – Part 2 You have several options here. The easiest is the carpet directly ahead of you in Momo's apartment. You will also scratch a door as part of the story when entering Elliot's Programming. Chapter 7: Dead End After meeting Doc, look around the room and scratch the wall to the left of the desk where the Defluxor is located. If you miss this, you return to The Slums later in the chapter and can use one of the scratching spots there instead. Chapter 8: The Sewers After completing the puzzle involving the two switches and passing under the metal gate, look to your left for a piece of cardboard you can scratch. This is the only scratching spot in the chapter, so do not stroll past it with your claws suspiciously clean. Chapter 9: Antvillage On the second level of the tree, find the robot painting a column. Behind him are two more robots near a bunk bed. Look to their right for a board you can scratch. Chapter 10: Midtown After leaving the Subway Station and reaching Midtown, continue past the Sentinel Drone chasing a robot. Head right and go up the stairs toward the unused elevator. Walk around to the back of the elevator and scratch the mattress there. Chapter 11: Jail After trapping the three Sentinel Drones so Clementine can safely continue, you will reach an area with a locked metal gate on the left. Look in the middle of the area for a tree and scratch it. This is the only scratching spot in the chapter. Chapter 12: Control Room This one is story-related. While trying to access the Control Room, you will work with B-12 and scratch the cables on the panel to the left of the locked doors. If you scratched at least once in every previous chapter, the trophy should unlock here.

Tip

Because the game does not tell you which chapters you have already completed, scratching something whenever you see the Triangle prompt is the safest approach.

Warning

Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and 11 only have the listed scratching opportunities, so those are the easiest ones to miss. Twelve chapters. Twelve scratches. One very satisfied set of claws.

Grind

PS5PS4

Trophy: I am Speed

Complete the game in less than 2 hours.

Type: Gold

Category: Grind

Unlock Details

Complete the entire game in less than 2 hours. This is best saved for your second playthrough after you have already finished the story, collectibles, and other trophies. By that point, you should know the chapter layouts, puzzle solutions, chase routes, and where the game likes to slow you down. The 2-hour limit is fairly generous, so you do not need a perfect speedrun. The goal is simply to keep moving and avoid wasting time on anything that is not required for story progression. Ignore all optional content during this run, including Memories, Badges, scratching spots, nuzzling, and other miscellaneous trophy requirements. Keep dialogue moving as quickly as possible by pressing Square, and end conversations as soon as the option appears. Those little pauses add up more than you might expect. You can also be much less careful with trophy-specific restrictions from your first playthrough: During Chapter 2: Dead City, do not worry about the Can't Cat-ch Me requirement. If a Zurk grabs you, shake it off and keep moving. During Chapter 8: The Sewers, you can use the Defluxor freely to clear Zurks and make traversal easier. During Chapter 10: Midtown, being spotted by Sentinels does not matter anymore. Stealth can still be faster in some sections, but you no longer need a flawless run.

Tip

You can check your current playtime from the Save Slot screen. Pausing the game and quitting to the Main Menu stops the timer, so you can safely take a break if needed. Reloading the last checkpoint or quitting and restarting does not rewind your recorded playtime, so try to avoid unnecessary deaths and repeated mistakes. If you want extra protection, make a backup save after particularly strong chapter times.

Warning

Do not get distracted by collectibles during this run. You already did your sightseeing. This time, the cat has places to be.

Combat

PS5PS4

Trophy: Pacifist

Complete the Sewers without killing any Zurks.

Type: Gold

Category: Combat

Unlock Details

Complete Chapter 8: The Sewers without killing any Zurks. The important rule is simple: do not use the Defluxor on any Zurks during the chapter. Even though The Sewers is packed with Zurks and Zurk Pods, you can get through the entire area by running, dodging, and zig-zagging past them. The safest approach is to avoid pressing L1 entirely so there is no chance of accidentally frying one. During the larger chase sections, keep moving and change direction when Zurks begin jumping toward you. You do not need to clear the enemies out — you only need to survive and keep progressing. The trophy will unlock near the end of the chapter after you make it underneath the slowly closing metal gate.

Tip

Treat this chapter like one long escape sequence. Keep moving and do not stop to fight anything.

Warning

Do not use the Defluxor at all during The Sewers. Killing even one Zurk will void the trophy for that attempt. For once, the game is asking you to look at a horde of nightmare bugs and politely choose peace.

Trophy: A Little Chatty

Meow 100 times.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Meow 100 times by pressing Circle. You first get the ability to meow early in Chapter 1: Inside the Wall. Once the prompt appears, you can simply stop and spam Circle until the trophy unlocks. It should only take around 1–2 minutes. You can also keep meowing naturally while playing if you'd rather embrace your inner cat instead of yelling at a wall 100 times.

Tip

There is no reason to save this one for later. As soon as meowing becomes available, you can knock it out immediately.

A Little Chatty PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Boom Chat Kalaka

Dunk the basketball.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Dunk the basketball into the trash can in The Slums. You can earn this during Chapter 4 or Chapter 6. Face the Guardian robot in the red cloak, then turn right. You will see a basketball sitting near a small ramp with a trash can at the bottom. Walk into the ball carefully and try to send it straight down the ramp into the trash can. The ball is very sensitive to your approach angle, so even a tiny nudge in the wrong direction can send your future basketball career into the dumpster.

Tip

If you miss, reload the last checkpoint and try again. Approach the ball slowly and line yourself up as straight as possible before touching it.

Boom Chat Kalaka PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Can't Cat-ch Me

Complete the first Zurk pursuit without being caught.

Type: Gold

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Complete the first Zurk chase without getting caught even once. This happens during your first major chase with the Zurks. If one grabs onto you and the Circle prompt appears to shake it off, the attempt has failed — even if you remove it immediately. Hold R2 to run and focus on zig-zagging instead of moving in a straight line. Watch the Zurks ahead of you and move away from the side they are coming from. The best trick is to wait until a group actually jumps at you, then quickly change direction. Once they are airborne, they cannot adjust their jump, which gives you a much better chance of slipping past them. Keep going until you reach the stairs and see an orange neon sign pointing toward an open window. Jump through the window and the trophy will unlock when you land safely inside.

Tip

If a Zurk catches you, pause immediately and restart from the last checkpoint. This trophy has a bit of RNG to it, so a few retries are completely normal.

Warning

This is one of the trickiest trophies in Stray. Do not panic if it takes several attempts — the Zurks are tiny, fast, and apparently very committed to ruining your day.

Trophy: Cat-a-Pult

Jump 500 times.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Jump 500 times. Jumping is one of Stray's main movement mechanics, so you should earn this naturally while progressing through the game, usually around Chapter 5. Press Cross whenever a jump prompt appears. Holding Cross to chain consecutive jumps also counts toward the total. Your jumps continue accumulating if you reload checkpoints or replay chapters, so there is no need to grind this unless you somehow finish the game while avoiding the cat's favorite activity: jumping on absolutely everything.

Trophy: Cat-a-strophe

Try to play mahjong with the robots.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Jump onto the mahjong table in Chapter 9: Antville. Near the beginning of the chapter, after you regain control following the cutscene with B-12, head up the stairs and look to the left. You will see two robots playing mahjong. Walk over and jump onto their table. The trophy unlocks immediately. You are not technically invited to the game, but that has never stopped a cat from joining anything.

Trophy: Cat's best friend

Nuzzle up against 5 robots.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Nuzzle against robots 5 times. Not every robot can be nuzzled, but there are several available throughout the game, including 4 in The Slums and 6 in Midtown. An easy way to earn this early is during Chapter 4: The Slums: Nuzzle against the Guardian's leg. Turn around toward the Bar alley. Head left to find two robots sitting by a fire. Nuzzle against both of them. Restart the chapter and repeat until you reach 5 total nuzzles. The trophy does not require 5 different robots, so repeating the same available interactions will still count.

Tip

Do this early in The Slums if you want it out of the way. Otherwise, just nuzzle every friendly robot you see and you may unlock it naturally. The robots' reactions make this one worth doing even if there were no trophy attached.

Trophy: Curiosity Killed the Cat

Wear the paper bag.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Wear a paper bag in Chapter 4: The Slums. The easiest one is near Morusque. After speaking with the Guardian at the start of the chapter, face the garage behind him, turn left, and go down the stairs. You will find a vending machine on the right and Morusque on the left. Look just to the right of Morusque near a pillar for a paper bag. Interact with it to put it on your head and the trophy will unlock immediately. While the bag is on, your movement controls become inverted for a few seconds, because apparently being a cat was not chaotic enough already.

Trophy: No More Lives

Die 9 times.

Type: Bronze

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Die 9 times. Any type of death counts, so the easiest method is to let Zurks or Sentinel Drones finish you off. You may unlock this naturally, but if not, Chapter Select makes it easy to farm the remaining deaths. Good places to do this are: Chapter 2: Dead City Chapter 5: Rooftops Chapter 7: Dead End Chapter 8: The Sewers In these chapters, let the Zurks grab you and do not press Circle to shake them off. You can also use Sentinel Drones in: Chapter 10: Midtown Chapter 11: Jail Simply step into their vision and let the alert progress until they shoot you.

Tip

If you want this out of the way early, farming the deaths during one of the Zurk-heavy chapters is the fastest option. Nine lives sounded generous until the game turned them into a checklist.

No More Lives PlayStation trophy artwork

Trophy: Productive Day

Sleep for more than one hour.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Sleep for more than one hour. Find any sleeping spot and interact with it when the Triangle prompt appears. Sleeping locations can include mattresses, cushions, and similar resting spots. Once your cat lies down, leave the game running without doing anything for one full hour. There is no in-game tracker, so setting a timer for about 62 minutes is the safest option. A convenient sleeping spot can be found near Morusque in The Slums during Chapter 4 or Chapter 6. Apparently saving the city is important, but so is taking a very serious nap.

Tip

Make sure your controller has enough battery and that your PlayStation controller settings will not turn it off due to inactivity. If the system becomes locked during the wait, you may have to start the hour again.

Warning

Do not attempt this during your I Am Speed playthrough. Spending an hour asleep is generally considered a poor speedrunning strategy.

Scratch the vinyl in the Nightclub during Chapter 10: Midtown. Once you reach the Nightclub, head toward the back of the room. On one of the tables to the right of the bar, you will find a vinyl record. Jump onto the table and pick up the vinyl, then carry it over to the DJ booth. Place it on the empty turntable, interact with it again, and use L2 and R2 to scratch the record. Keep scratching for a few seconds and the trophy will unlock.

Tip

The vinyl is easy to overlook because the Nightclub has a lot going on visually. Check the tables to the right of the bar before moving on. Congratulations, your cat is now officially a DJ.

Trophy: Sneakitty

Go through Midtown without being detected by the Sentinels.

Type: Silver

Category: Misc

Unlock Details

Complete the stealth sections of Chapter 10: Midtown without being detected by any Sentinel Drone. This trophy covers two areas: the Neco Corp Factory and the Residential Area around Clementine's apartment. The key rule is strict: if a Sentinel's vision turns yellow, you have already been spotted and the attempt is failed. Red alert is obviously bad too, but yellow is enough to ruin the trophy. In the Neco Corp Factory, take your time and use boxes, barrels, beams, moving cages, and blind spots to stay out of each Drone's field of vision. A few important moments: After jumping out of the box, wait for the moving Drone to reach the left side of the bridge, then run past it on the right. In the room with two Drones, wait for the stationary one to look away before using the barrels and nearby box for cover. Use the planks and beam to reach the switch in the next area, then wait for the Drone to turn before moving back toward the opened door. When you reach the moving cages, stay inside their shadow and use them as cover to pass the stationary Drones. Near the water and barrels, continue using the cages to block the Drones' vision while progressing toward the Atomic Battery. For the final Factory Drones, use the boxes and moving cover to pass behind them safely. After collecting the Atomic Battery, the stealth section continues in the Residential Area. Use the cover around the first two stationary Drones and move only while they are looking away. On the higher floors, watch for both stationary and patrolling Drones before crossing corridors, using railings, or jumping across the signs. When approaching Clementine's apartment, wait for the final patrol to move away before entering through the hole in the wall. You also need to be careful when leaving the apartment, because the trophy is still active. Follow the yellow cable back down, wait for the Drone at ground level to look away, and continue out of the area. If you stayed completely undetected in both sections, the trophy will unlock shortly after you pass the police barricade.

Tip

Patience is much easier than restarting Chapter 10 because you tried to save three seconds. Watch each Drone's pattern first, then move.

Warning

Yellow vision means failure. You do not need to wait for a full red alert to know the attempt is dead. The Sentinels may be robots, but apparently they have the eyesight of a parent who just heard something break downstairs.

You will find a robot lying on a mattress nearby, along with a couch facing a TV. Approach the couch and interact with the remote. Keep changing channels around 7–8 times until the trophy unlocks.
