How to Unlock

You unlock this by completing all 16 Hot Springs, 13 Shrine Climbs, and 15 Bamboo Strikes across the map, and this is one of the bigger exploration trophies in the game. You can make this much easier by buying maps from cartographers in villages or following the yellow bird while exploring, since it reliably leads you to these activities. 16 Hot Springs that increase your health 13 Shrine Climbs that involve platforming to a shrine 15 Bamboo Strikes that test your input timing Bamboo Strikes are simple once you get the rhythm, just stay calm and memorize the sequence instead of rushing. Shrine Climbs are more about patience, so take your time with jumps and do not panic if you slip. Hot Springs are the easiest since they just require you to interact and enjoy the moment. One thing to watch out for is the Atago Bamboo Strike where metal weapons nearby attract lightning, so clear them out first or you will keep getting interrupted. This takes a while, but if you follow birds and clear things as you explore, it feels much less like a grind.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by solving all 5 Mountain Reliquary puzzles, each tied to a riddle that hints at how the fox statues should be positioned. Yotei Grasslands where all fox statues must face Mount Yōtei Oshima Coast where all statues again face Mount Yōtei Tokachi Range where all statues must face the central pillar Teshio Ridge where you first melt snow with fire arrows, then face all statues toward the altar Ishikari Plains where demon mask statues face away and the others face the altar Most of these follow a simple pattern once you understand the riddle, so take a second to read the clue before spinning statues randomly. If something does not activate, double check orientation because one wrong statue will block completion. These puzzles are quick once solved and feel more like a break from combat, so enjoy them instead of rushing through.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by collecting all 12 armor sets in the game, with three earned automatically through the story and the rest tied to side tales, activities, and a few specific requirements. How to Unlock

You unlock this by finding and praying at 30 Altars of Reflection, and there are far more than you actually need spread across every region. As you explore, clear camps, and complete side content, you will naturally come across these, especially since many are located inside Yōtei Six camps. When you find one, simply swipe down on the Touch Pad to pray and gain a skill point. This adds up quickly if you are not skipping exploration, so the best approach is to grab them as you go instead of leaving them for cleanup. By the time you are working toward other collectibles, you will likely already be close to 30, making this a very low effort trophy if you stay consistent.

How to Unlock

This trophy unlocks after collecting 30 pieces of Vanity Gear, and you will get most of these naturally just by playing and exploring. Vanity Gear includes weapon kits and dyes, which come from activities like bounties, Pillars of the Fallen, and merchants. A simple way to speed this up is to grab flowers whenever you see them while traveling since they act as currency for buying cosmetics. Check merchants regularly, especially at inns where characters like Ginji and Ran sell dyes, and do not forget that some camp NPCs also offer items. There are far more than 30 available in the game, so you do not need to hunt anything specific, just stay consistent and you will hit this without much effort.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by collecting all five quickfire weapons, which are spread across story progression, side tales, and a bounty. Two of them, Oni’s Flame and Smoke Bombs, come naturally from completing The Oni and The Kitsune main tales, so you do not need to worry about those. The remaining three require a bit more effort, with Kunai coming from The Winter Farms tale, Metsubushi from defeating Crow Genzo in Yotei Grasslands, and the Tanzutsu from completing Guns and Consequences in Oshima Coast. Just make sure you are completing side tales and at least one bounty, and this will come together without much trouble. By the time you have all five, you will have a strong set of tools for handling fights quickly and creatively.

How to Unlock

This trophy unlocks after collecting 10 full Sake jars, and you will find these all over the world if you take a second to actually loot areas. Check camps thoroughly, especially shelves, tables, and inside small containers because they are easy to miss if you rush through. You can also buy Sake from merchants if you want to speed things up, but honestly just playing normally and looting consistently will get this done quickly. Keep an eye on your inventory limit since you can only carry so many at once, and if you cannot pick one up, just drink one by holding Down on the D-pad to make room. This one is basically a reward for slowing down and exploring instead of sprinting past everything.

How to Unlock

This trophy unlocks after acquiring all ranged weapons, which are spread between story progression, purchases, and a side tale. You will get the Tanegashima naturally through the story, while the Hankyu and Yumi bows can be purchased from Ran the Bowyer at inns. The final piece comes from completing The Bomb Maker tale, which unlocks bombs. If you are short on currency, just loot camps and pick up resources regularly because that adds up quickly. Once all four are in your inventory, the trophy pops, and you will have a solid toolkit for handling fights from a distance.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by acquiring all melee weapons, and most of them come naturally through story progression and Sensei Tales. You start with the Wolf Blade, then earn the Dual Katana and Odachi through main story missions, while the Kusarigama and Yari come from completing their respective Sensei questlines. This trophy is more about progression than effort, so just make sure you finish those side tales instead of skipping them. Each weapon is designed to counter specific enemy types, so it helps to actually use them instead of sticking to one playstyle. By the time you have them all, combat feels much smoother, and the trophy unlocks without any extra grind.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by solving all 12 Nine Tails puzzle boxes, which are split between enemy camps and open world locations. Most of them are tied to camps, so clearing those areas will naturally lead you to the boxes, usually placed near Altars of Reflection or appearing after rescuing prisoners. The remaining ones are found at Kitsune Altars or hidden in specific regions like Sakura Woods, Sentinel Forest, Shipwreck Shoal, Sarobetsu Forest, and along the Teshio Coast. Sakura Woods near a fallen body after an enemy encounter Sentinel Forest Kitsune Altar between forest regions Shipwreck Shoal along the eastern coastal cliffs near a rocky arch Sarobetsu Forest near the center of the region Teshio Coast cliffside Kitsune Altar Crossroads Trading Post after clearing the camp Snow Drift Springs Hideout after solving the fox puzzle Snow Blight Hideout after solving the fox puzzle Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout after solving fox and rope puzzles Deserted Village after clearing enemies and rescuing a prisoner Soya Port camp after clearing enemies Cape Inari Hideout after lighting the correct fox lanterns Focus on clearing camps and interacting with anything tied to fox symbols, and you will find most of these without heavy searching. If something does not appear, it usually means a camp objective is incomplete, so double check the area before leaving. This one takes some time, but it is very manageable if you combine it with general exploration instead of treating it like a full scavenger hunt.

How to Unlock

You unlock this by completing all 10 Wolf Dens across Ezo, which involve following a wolf after interacting with a body, then clearing out enemies and freeing captured wolves. 2 in Yotei Grasslands south of Lake Shikotsu and west of the Nupur River 1 in Oshima Coast north of Shojin Hills 2 in Tokachi Range around Ohara Plains and near Boar’s Eye Cave 2 in Teshio Ridge east of Sarobetsu Lake and near Sentinel Forest 1 in Nayoro Wilds north of Kankan Creek 2 in Ishikari Plains near Nakagoya Spring and west of the Rumoi River Each den follows the same pattern, so once you have done one, you know what to expect. These are also worth doing early since they unlock useful wolf abilities that help in combat and exploration. By the time you clear all 10, the trophy will unlock and you will have a strong companion mechanic to lean on for the rest of the game.
