The best way to defeat Sigrun, the Valkyrie Queen in God of War, is to arrive fully prepared with upgraded gear, maximum health, strong runic attacks, and abilities that can slow time. Before challenging her, defeat all other Valkyries and place their helmets in the throne circle to unlock the fight.
Because Sigrun uses abilities from every other Valkyrie, she is dangerous at both close and long range. Strong runic builds, healing effects, and careful timing are key to surviving one of the hardest boss fights in the game.
Rota is the Helheim Valkyrie in God of War and relies heavily on aerial attacks, unblockable dives, and a devastating head stomp. The key to victory is learning her attack patterns, blocking her ranged projectiles, dodging her dive attacks, and punishing her whenever she lands.
Before the fight, fill your Runic Attack meters, enter with a full Spartan Rage bar, and bring a Resurrection Stone. Most of Rota's attacks leave her vulnerable for a short time after they finish.
Hildr is the Valkyrie hidden within Niflheim and is often considered one of the easier Valkyrie fights. To reach her, follow the left side of Niflheim's maze from the central workshop area and push through to the left field section.
During the fight, focus on parrying her dash attacks, blocking her wing combos and ice projectiles, and dodging her unblockable attacks. Entering the battle with full Runic Attacks, Spartan Rage, and a Resurrection Stone makes the encounter much easier.
The Shattered Gauntlet of Ages is obtained during Family Business, a Favor from Sindri in Northri Stronghold. The Favor becomes available after completing Fafnir's Storeroom and the story chapter The Sickness.
When fully upgraded and equipped with specific enchantments, the talisman becomes a reference to Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet, gaining a powerful enemy-seeking projectile attack.
Two of the strongest early talismans in God of War are the Golden Talisman of Protection and the Amulet of Kvasir. The Golden Talisman can be found shortly after reaching the Lake of Nine at Stone Falls, while the Amulet of Kvasir becomes available after reaching Alfheim.
The Golden Talisman improves defense and parrying, while the Amulet of Kvasir rewards perfectly timed dodges by slowing time. Both remain useful well into the later stages of the game.
Combat in God of War is built around defense, timing, and positioning. Success comes from learning when to Parry, when to Dodge, and when to create openings with ranged attacks instead of constantly attacking.
Mastering your shield, axe throws, and stun attacks is often more important than simply dealing damage. Even weaker enemies can become dangerous if you ignore defensive mechanics.

Odin’s Ravens are the bright green, extremely loud birds you’ll spot, and hear, scattered all over the world, with some hiding in annoyingly clever places. To earn this trophy, you’ll need to hunt down and kill all 51 of them, so keep your eyes and ears open whenever you enter a new area. None of the ravens are missable, and you can track your progress at any time by checking the Map screen in the menu, which shows how many you’ve taken out in each region. Expect some light scavenger hunting, a few “how did I miss that?” moments, and plenty of satisfaction every time one of Odin’s spies drops out of the sky.

Collect all of the artifacts.

There are plenty of Artifacts to collect, but the good news is none of them are missable, so you can grab them all after finishing the main story without stress. They’re spread across the map, but every single one is accessible during post-game cleanup, making this more of a sightseeing tour than a panic run. Even if you somehow ignored every Artifact during the entire story, you can still clean them all up in roughly fifty minutes once the world fully opens. Use the Map screen in the menu to check how many Artifacts you’re missing in each region, then mop them up area by area until the trophy pops. Think of it as spring cleaning, but with fewer chores and more loot.

Trophy: Iðunn’s Orchard
Fully upgrade your Health.

This trophy unlocks once you’ve collected enough Idunn Apples to fully max out Kratos’ health bar. If the health bar won’t grow anymore and Kratos feels unreasonably hard to kill, you’re there. Just keep opening Nornir chests as you explore and the trophy will pop naturally, no grinding, just a lot of rune staring. If you’re unsure which chests you’re missing or want to speed things up, check the Silver Quick Tempered trophy for more details. Consider this one a reward for thorough exploration and a healthier, angrier Kratos.

Trophy: Quick Tempered
Fully upgrade your rage.

To fully upgrade both Kratos’ health and rage bars, you’ll need to open a total of eighteen Nornir chests and solve their puzzles. These chests contain either Idunn Apples, which increase health, or Horns of Blood Mead, which increase rage. The rewards aren’t random, so if you’re missing one type, you can always come back later and grab exactly what you need instead of praying to the RNG gods. Each upgrade requires collecting three of the same item, and you’ll do this three times for health and three times for rage, which is how you reach the total of eighteen chests. As long as you explore thoroughly and don’t sprint past every puzzle like you’re late for Ragnarok, this trophy will unlock naturally over the course of the game.

Trophy: The Truth
Read all of the Jötnar shrines.

As you play through the game, you’ll come across large wooden shrine curtains that open from the left and right, these are Jötnar Shrines, and they’re basically God of War’s way of sneaking lore lessons into your adventure. For this trophy, you need to read all eleven shrines, which mostly happen naturally as you progress, with only a few tucked slightly off the main path. You can track which shrines you’ve already found by pressing the Touch Pad to open the menu, heading to the Codex, and scrolling down to the Jötnar Shrines section. If you’re missing one, it’s usually because you walked past it while admiring the scenery or sprinting to the next objective. Slow down, pull the curtains, enjoy the story, and the trophy will take care of itself.

Trophy: Treasure Hunter
Use treasure maps to find all dig spots.

For this trophy, you’ll need to track down and dig up every treasure associated with all twelve Treasure Maps. Some dig spots are sneaky and easy to walk past, while others are practically begging you to trip over them, so expect a mix of careful searching and dumb luck. You can keep tabs on your progress by opening the menu with the Touch Pad, switching to Goals with L1 or R1, and checking the Treasure Maps section to see which ones are fully completed. One important thing to know is that older versions of the game were more forgiving, letting you earn the trophy by just finding the treasure itself. As of Patch 1.17, that shortcut is gone, you now need to find each actual Treasure Map and then dig up its corresponding spot. In other words, no more skipping the paperwork; if the map exists, Kratos expects you to read it before grabbing the loot.

Trophy: All Will Fall
Kill 1,000 enemies.

This trophy’s description is a little dramatic, you only need 1,000 enemy kills, not 2,000. Just defeat enemies as you play and explore, and this will unlock naturally without any extra effort unless you’re somehow sprinting past every fight like it’s optional. If you want to keep tabs on your progress, check the Wages of War labor in the Goals section of the pause menu. You’ll earn EXP at 250, 500, and 1,000 kills, with the final milestone lining up perfectly with the trophy. In short, play the game, fight the enemies it throws at you, and let the numbers do the rest.
Trophy: Darkness and Fog
Retrieve all treasure from the Workshop’s center chamber.

After unlocking Muspelheim, you’ll need four more Language Ciphers to access Niflheim and its lovely poison-filled maze. This trophy requires clearing out the Workshop’s center chamber, which means farming Mist Echoes inside the Niflheim labyrinth and spending them on everything in the middle room. While exploring, the mist will slowly drain your life, so the goal is to get in, grab loot, and get out alive, dying means losing everything you just earned, which feels exactly as bad as it sounds. The maze itself isn’t complicated; the real enemy is the clock constantly ticking down at the top of the screen. You do not need to fight the Valkyrie here for this trophy, unless you enjoy stress. To finish the trophy, buy the entry stone from Sindri for 500 Mist Echoes to unlock the center chamber. Inside are five treasure chests and three realm tears, all of which must be opened. You’ll need roughly 70,000 Mist Echoes total, plus three Anchors of Fog for the realm tears. Farming Mist Echoes gets much easier once you upgrade your gear, add enchantment sockets, and boost your Luck stat, which also massively improves your chances of getting Anchors of Fog from the tougher enemies in the deeper areas. Once you’re properly geared, full runs through the maze can net 5,000 or more Mist Echoes per visit, turning this from a nightmare into a routine workout. After opening every chest and realm tear in the center chamber, the trophy unlocks. It’s grindy, yes, but it’s also where some of the best gear in the game lives, so at least the suffering comes with upgrades. Welcome to Niflheim, breathe deep, but not too deep.

Trophy: Chooser of the Slain
Defeat the nine Valkyries.

The Valkyries are the toughest enemies in the game, and the Queen Valkyrie sits comfortably at the top of that nightmare list. For this trophy, you must defeat all eight Valkyries scattered across Midgard, Alfheim, Helheim, Muspelheim, and Niflheim. After finishing the story, their locations are marked on the map, so the hunt becomes more about survival than searching. Once all eight are defeated, bring their crowns to the Council of Valkyries on the north side of the Lake of Nine near the Mason’s Channel to summon the Queen. The Queen Valkyrie is the hardest fight in the entire game, and she will absolutely test everything you’ve learned. Dodging is far more important than blocking, as several of her attacks ignore shields entirely. Turning the difficulty down to Easy is strongly recommended unless you enjoy suffering for personal growth. Make sure your Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos are fully upgraded, and bring your best armor, Ivaldi’s set from Niflheim is one of the strongest choices and makes a noticeable difference here. During the fight, Runic attacks are your best friend. The Queen will often block herself with her wings, and when she does, that’s your cue to back off and prepare. Save at least one Runic attack for the moment she opens up, as this is your safest window to deal heavy damage. You can still hit her while her wings are up, but it’s risky and usually ends with Kratos eating the floor. Fully upgraded Runic attacks slow time during their animations, which is incredibly useful when things start getting chaotic. Make sure all your armor sockets are filled with strong enchantments, your gear is fully upgraded, and your Runic attacks are level three. Use Atreus constantly, weaving his bow attacks between Kratos’ strikes to briefly stun her and chip away at her health. Electricity arrows are the way to go here, as they’re far more effective than light arrows. Bringing a Berserker Resurrection Stone is also a smart move, since reviving with full rage can turn a near-loss into a comeback. This fight is less about brute force and more about patience, timing, and not panicking when the Queen decides to combo you into next week. Learn her patterns, abuse your Runic attacks, and don’t rush the fight. Beat her, and the trophy unlocks, along with the satisfaction of knowing you’ve conquered the toughest challenge God of War has to offer.

Trophy: Dangerous Skies
Free all of the Dragons.

There are three chained dragons hidden around Midgard, and for this trophy you’ll need to free all of them. Each time you encounter a dragon, a favor tied to freeing it will unlock. The dragons themselves aren’t overly dangerous, aside from some spicy area-of-effect attacks if you stand too close and admire them for too long. The real task is destroying the three blue-rune totems in each area that are powering the shrine keeping the dragon chained. You can track each dragon’s favor to easily locate the totems, as they’re all spread around the immediate area and aren’t hard to find once you know what you’re looking for. Not all dragons are accessible right away, but all three can be freed by the time you reach the main story quest A Path to Jotunheim. Fafnir is tied to the favor The Flight of Fafnir and is located to the right of the Mason’s Channel, beneath the Council of Valkyries. Otr is part of the favor Otr’s Imprisonment and can be found along the beaches of Veithurgard. Reginn is freed during The Fire of Reginn favor and is located in Konunsgard, which becomes accessible after starting the Hail to the King favor for Brok and Sindri. Free them all, enjoy the chaos, and take pride in being surprisingly compassionate for a god known mostly for violence.

Trophy: Fire and Brimstone
Complete all of the Trials of Muspelheim.

After finding your first Language Cipher, you’ll unlock the journey The Realm of Fire, which tasks you with collecting four ciphers to access Muspelheim. This fiery realm is packed with lava, ash, and six combat trials standing between you and this trophy. The first five trials each have three difficulties, Normal, Hard, and Impossible, with the final trial unlocking later. While you can tackle these earlier, it’s strongly recommended to finish the main story first and complete Niflheim so you’re properly geared and not voluntarily suffering. Dropping the difficulty to Easy is also fair game here; Muspelheim does not care about your pride. When you arrive in Muspelheim, you’ll start by completing Trials 1 through 5 on Normal and Hard. After finishing those, a Valkyrie appears and must be defeated to move forward. Once she’s down, the sixth and final trial becomes available, but it’s locked behind three keys. To earn those keys, you need to complete any three of the first five trials on Impossible difficulty. Impossible lives up to its name, but with endgame gear it’s very manageable. Trials two, three, and five are generally the most forgiving, so focus on those if the others feel like punishment. Each trial has a different gimmick, ranging from time limits and survival to killing enemies in specific zones or without taking damage. Trial six is simpler than it sounds, you only need to complete the first stage by killing 50 enemies within the time limit. Once that’s done, the trophy unlocks. Muspelheim is tough, flashy, and loud, but with preparation it becomes more of a victory lap than a nightmare. Bring strong gear, plenty of runics, and patience, the fire realm rewards persistence, not recklessness.

Trophy: Nice Moves
Obtain a Runic Attack Gem.

Runic Attack Gems are one of the main ways you power up your weapons, giving you new abilities and combat buffs that make fights much more satisfying. For this trophy, all you need to do is find and equip your very first Runic Attack Gem, which will happen naturally as you play since they’re scattered generously throughout the game. Once you pick one up, the game will walk you through how to equip it in the menu. Follow the tutorial, slot the gem, and the trophy will unlock immediately. Think of this one as the game’s way of saying “congrats, you’ve discovered buttons that make enemies disappear faster.”
Trophy: The Best Moves
Fully upgrade a Runic Attack.

To earn this trophy, you need to fully upgrade any Runic Attack Gem to level three. You’ll find plenty of Runic Attacks just by playing normally, and if you already unlocked the trophy for equipping your first one, you’re well on your way without even trying. Upgrading a Runic Attack costs EXP, and stronger runics are much more expensive than weaker ones. To save yourself some grinding, you can upgrade an early, weaker runic instead, since it requires far less EXP. If you’re feeling extra careful, you can even save your game, fully upgrade the runic to pop the trophy, then reload your save like nothing ever happened. Kratos won’t judge you. To upgrade, open the pause menu, select a weapon, choose either the light or heavy runic slot, and hold Square to upgrade it. Do this a few times until it hits level three and the trophy unlocks. Think of this one as a reward for investing in your magic buttons and making enemies explode more efficiently.
Trophy: Why Fight It?
Fully upgrade the Blades of Chaos.

The Blades of Chaos are unlocked naturally through the main story, and for this trophy you’ll need to fully upgrade them to level five at any shop. Upgrades require Chaos Flames, which drop from main story bosses and can’t be permanently missed. If you ever forget to grab one, the Lost Items section at Brok or Sindri’s shop will quietly fix that mistake for you. After finishing the story, you’ll only be able to upgrade the Blades to level four using the Chaos Flames you’ve collected. To reach level five, you need a rare item called the Raging Inferno of Muspelheim, which drops after defeating the Valkyrie in Muspelheim. Once you have it, return to Brok or Sindri, open the Buy menu, head to Resources, and trade it in for one final Chaos Flame. Use that last flame to max out the Blades of Chaos and the trophy will unlock. It’s a fitting reward for upgrading the most iconic weapons in the series back to their full, chain-spinning glory.
Trophy: Worthy
Fully upgrade the Leviathan Axe.

The Leviathan Axe is Kratos’ starting weapon, and for this trophy you need to upgrade it all the way to level six at any shop. Upgrades require Frozen Flames, which drop from main story bosses and can’t be permanently missed. If you ever forget to pick one up, check the Lost Items section at a shop and the game will politely hand it back to you. By the end of the main story, you’ll only have enough Frozen Flames to reach level five. To hit level six, you need a rare item called the Chilling Mist of Niflheim, which is earned by opening chests in the Workshop’s central chamber in Niflheim. Once you have it, head back to Brok or Sindri, open the Buy menu, go to Resources, and trade it in for one final Frozen Flame. Use that last upgrade on the Leviathan Axe and the trophy will unlock. It’s a bit of extra work, but fully powering up Kratos’ favorite axe feels exactly as satisfying as it sounds, especially knowing you squeezed every last drop of frost out of it.
Trophy: Beneath the Surface
Explore all the Lake of Nine has to offer.

The Lake of Nine acts as the game’s main hub, and you’ll be coming back here constantly for story progress, favors, and general wandering. For this trophy, you need to fully explore the entire Lake of Nine, which means clearing the fog from the map and physically visiting every area at least once. If the trophy doesn’t pop after everything looks uncovered, use any Mystic Gateway and travel somewhere else, that little reload usually convinces the game you really were everywhere. The required areas include Stone Falls, The Mason’s Channel, Veithurgard, Buri’s Storeroom, Cliffs of the Raven, Lookout Tower, Isle of Death, Iron Cove, Forgotten Caverns, Ruins of the Ancient, and the Light Elf Outpost. Most of these will be visited naturally as the water level changes throughout the story, while a few require some deliberate detours. Take your time, dock everywhere that looks even slightly important, and enjoy the boat rides, Kratos may hate boats, but trophies absolutely love them.
Trophy: Best Dressed
Craft an outfit for Atreus.

Throughout the game you’ll run into the traveling dwarven duo, Brok and Sindri, who handle all your crafting and upgrades. For this trophy, you just need to craft a single outfit for Atreus, and that’s it, no full wardrobe makeover required. You can do this at any point once you have access to a shop, but you’ll likely unlock it very early after your first meeting with Brok. The initial outfits are cheap and don’t require rare materials, so spend a little Hacksilver, dress Atreus properly, and enjoy the trophy for being a responsible parent for once.
Trophy: Death Happened Here

This trophy can be a little temperamental, so if it doesn’t unlock right away, don’t assume you did something wrong. Some players report needing to fully explore and defog all of Veithurgard, while others say it only popped after killing the Ogre mini-boss at the end and opening the final chest. A few unlucky souls had to grab every collectible in the area, and in rare cases reloading an earlier save or even starting a new playthrough was the fix. It’s annoying, but thankfully this isn’t a common issue. Veithurgard becomes accessible once the Lake of Nine water level lowers for the second time. You can reach it by opening the large gate northeast of the lake’s center using the switch near the water wheel on the cliff. Once inside, focus on fully exploring the area and clearing the fog from the map. There aren’t many threats here outside of the chained dragon and the Ogre mini-boss, so it’s more exploration than combat. After you’ve covered the entire area, defeat the Ogre at the end and open the chest that follows. In most cases, the trophy unlocks shortly after that. If it doesn’t, double-check the map for any remaining fog, grab nearby collectibles just in case, and try reloading or fast traveling. Veithurgard likes to make sure you really meant to be there before handing out the trophy.
Trophy: Dwarven Ingenuity
Upgrade a piece of armor.

You can upgrade armor any time you visit Brok or Sindri, as long as you have enough Hacksilver and materials to pay for it. For this trophy, you only need to upgrade a single piece of armor one time, so there’s no need to go on a forging spree just yet. It’s best to wait until you pick up a stronger armor piece before upgrading, since most early-game gear gets outclassed pretty quickly. Save your resources, make one smart upgrade, let the trophy pop, and then go back to hoarding Hacksilver like a responsible god of war.

Slot an Enchantment into your armor.

Enchantments let you add extra perks and stat boosts to Kratos and Atreus, and you’ll find plenty of them through combat and exploration. For this trophy, all you need to do is socket a single Enchantment into any piece of armor, so this one is quick and painless. Open the pause menu, head to the Armor tab, select a piece of gear, and slot an Enchantment. The moment it’s equipped, the trophy unlocks. It’s basically the game rewarding you for discovering that your armor has pockets for magic rocks.
Trophy: Like Oil and Water
Complete all of Brok and Sindri’s favors.

Brok and Sindri will occasionally offer favors as you progress through the story, and for this trophy you simply need to accept every single one they have by pressing Triangle when the blue icon appears at their shops. There are five favors total, but you won’t be able to accept the final one until much later in the main story, so don’t worry if it doesn’t show up right away. Brok offers two favors first. Second Hand Soul takes place in the Volunder Mines, where he sends you to track down Andvari and a very important green ring that absolutely won’t cause any problems later. Deus Ex Malachite happens in the Landsuther Mines and has you searching for a lost hammer tied to the same unfortunate dwarf, because one cursed ring apparently wasn’t enough drama. Sindri also offers two favors, starting with Fafnir’s Hoard in Fafnir’s Storeroom, where you’re tasked with locating a whetstone that’s far more important to Sindri than it probably should be. This continues into Family Business at Northri Stronghold, where you retrieve the item from some reavers who clearly didn’t know who they were messing with. The final favor, Hail to the King, becomes available after progressing far into the story and repairing Brok and Sindri’s partnership during A Path to Jotunheim. This sends you to Konunsgard to gather materials for a legendary Dwarven armor set as a thank-you for playing couples counselor. Accept all five favors and the trophy unlocks, proving that Kratos is not only a god of war, but also extremely reliable when it comes to side jobs.
Trophy: Path of the Zealot
Obtain the Traveler armor set.

For this trophy, you need to craft the full Legendary Traveler armor set, which includes the chest, wrist, and waist pieces. This one takes some effort, as the required materials mostly come from killing Travelers, the towering, heavily armored enemies with giant swords and shields who absolutely do not want to be farmed. Once you defeat your first Traveler and loot it, you’ll unlock the labor The Road Less Traveled, which allows Brok or Sindri to start crafting Traveler gear. To complete the full set, you’ll need to kill several Travelers to gather enough shards and grisly trophies, along with a decent pile of Hacksilver. The good news is that Travelers appear naturally throughout Midgard as you progress the story, so you don’t need to go out of your way hunting them unless you’re in a hurry. Eventually, you’ll have enough materials to craft the Breastplate of the Traveler, the Gauntlets of the Traveler, and the War Belt of the Traveler at any shop. Once you craft the final piece, the trophy unlocks. It’s a bit of a grind, but the armor is strong, the enemies are memorable, and nothing says victory like turning the remains of your toughest foes into a matching outfit.

For this trophy, you need to craft the full Legendary Ancient armor set, which includes the chest, wrist, and waist pieces. This set is built almost entirely from materials dropped by Ancients, the massive rock-covered enemies with a glowing chest that politely mind their own business until you decide violence is the answer. After killing your first Ancient and looting its remains, you’ll unlock the Hearts of Stone labor, which allows Brok or Sindri to start crafting Ancient gear. You’ll need to defeat several Ancients to gather enough Hearts and Rubble, but if you keep progressing through the story and side content, you’ll naturally encounter enough of them without needing to farm aggressively. Once you have the required materials and Hacksilver, visit Brok or Sindri and craft the Pauldron of the Ancients, the Gauntlets of the Ancients, and the Belt of the Ancients. Crafting the final piece unlocks the trophy. It’s a straightforward grind, and there’s something very satisfying about turning walking boulders into fashionable, extremely durable armor.

Language Ciphers are found inside the foggy purple chests scattered around the world, and you’ll need to open at least eight of them to earn this trophy. The first four ciphers teach you one realm language and the next four unlock the other, covering Muspelheim and Niflheim. There is one missable chest during a main story section inside the World Serpent’s stomach, but don’t stress, there are more than enough ciphers available, so missing that one won’t ruin your Platinum run. The order you unlock the languages depends on which chests you grab first, so don’t be surprised if Niflheim unlocks before Muspelheim or the other way around. Any extra cipher chests beyond the required eight will just hand out rare crafting materials and gear, which is never a bad thing. Both Muspelheim and Niflheim are end-game realms and are best saved until after the story, unless you enjoy getting humbled early for slightly better loot.

After finishing the story, the world remains fully open for cleanup. This is where you will focus on collectibles like ravens, artifacts, and treasure maps, along with finishing side quests and optional challenges. It might look like a lot at first, but if you explored along the way, you have already done a big chunk of the work.
Some of the toughest content comes from optional encounters, so do not get discouraged if they take a few tries. Take breaks, upgrade your gear, and come back stronger if needed. The best way to defeat Sigrun, the Valkyrie Queen in God of War, is to arrive fully prepared with upgraded gear, maximum health, strong runic attacks, and abilities that can slow time. Before challenging her, defeat all other Valkyries and place their helmets in the throne circle to unlock the fight.
Because Sigrun uses abilities from every other Valkyrie, she is dangerous at both close and long range. Strong runic builds, healing effects, and careful timing are key to surviving one of the hardest boss fights in the game.
Rota is the Helheim Valkyrie in God of War and relies heavily on aerial attacks, unblockable dives, and a devastating head stomp. The key to victory is learning her attack patterns, blocking her ranged projectiles, dodging her dive attacks, and punishing her whenever she lands.
Before the fight, fill your Runic Attack meters, enter with a full Spartan Rage bar, and bring a Resurrection Stone. Most of Rota's attacks leave her vulnerable for a short time after they finish.
Hildr is the Valkyrie hidden within Niflheim and is often considered one of the easier Valkyrie fights. To reach her, follow the left side of Niflheim's maze from the central workshop area and push through to the left field section.
During the fight, focus on parrying her dash attacks, blocking her wing combos and ice projectiles, and dodging her unblockable attacks. Entering the battle with full Runic Attacks, Spartan Rage, and a Resurrection Stone makes the encounter much easier.
The Shattered Gauntlet of Ages is obtained during Family Business, a Favor from Sindri in Northri Stronghold. The Favor becomes available after completing Fafnir's Storeroom and the story chapter The Sickness.
When fully upgraded and equipped with specific enchantments, the talisman becomes a reference to Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet, gaining a powerful enemy-seeking projectile attack.
Two of the strongest early talismans in God of War are the Golden Talisman of Protection and the Amulet of Kvasir. The Golden Talisman can be found shortly after reaching the Lake of Nine at Stone Falls, while the Amulet of Kvasir becomes available after reaching Alfheim.
The Golden Talisman improves defense and parrying, while the Amulet of Kvasir rewards perfectly timed dodges by slowing time. Both remain useful well into the later stages of the game.
