How to Unlock

You will unlock this shortly into the story the first time you use Ancient Magic in normal gameplay. Even though you technically use it earlier during the troll fight, the trophy only triggers when you activate it outside of a scripted moment, which happens during Secrets of the Restricted Section. Once your Ancient Magic meter fills, you will see the L1 and R1 prompt appear above an enemy, and using it will instantly unlock the trophy. This attack hits hard and looks even better, so get used to using it often because it becomes one of your strongest tools in combat.

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Sebastian Sallow’s entire relationship line. Sebastian is a Slytherin student first met during your Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons. His story unfolds over thirteen quests that are intertwined with the main storyline, and the trophy unlocks once all of them are completed. In the Shadow of the Undercroft begins shortly after Flying Class, when Seb introduces you to a hidden hangout called The Undercroft and teaches you the fiery Confringo spell. In the Shadow of the Estate follows, triggered during the main story, sending you to a ruined house where a secret passage leads back to The Undercroft. In the Shadow of the Bloodline is a brief conversation in the Great Hall, while In the Shadow of the Study has you, Seb, and Ominis solve a symbol puzzle to unlock Slytherin’s Scriptorium, requiring the optional use of Crucio to enter and retrieve Slytherin’s Spellbook. In the Shadow of Discovery occurs after the third Keeper trial, mostly consisting of an argument in The Undercroft. In the Shadow of the Mine starts after learning Transformation and sends you into Overlook Mine, combining stealth, combat, and a puzzle involving Confringo to open a door leading to a Triptych canvas piece. In the Shadow of Time runs concurrently, having you search the Feldcroft Catacomb for a relic to save Seb’s sister, using bone puzzles with Accio and learning Imperio to progress through a tense fight. In the Shadow of Distance is a short conversation about contacting Anne. In the Shadow of the Mountain requires Bombarda and Level 24, sending you to the southernmost map region to search for another canvas piece alongside Seb. In the Shadow of Hope unfolds simultaneously, covering Seb’s plan to take his sister to the Feldcroft Catacomb. In the Shadow of the Relic returns you to the catacomb with Ominis to face Inferi and ultimately fight Solomon, using Incendio, Confringo, and Transformation to overcome his shields and attacks. In the Shadow of Fate is a meeting in The Undercroft to review recent events. Finally, In the Shadow of Friendship concludes the storyline after earning Silver The Hero of Hogwarts with a final conversation about forgiveness. The trophy will unlock after completing this last interaction.

This bronze trophy is unlocked by spending 5 Talent Points, which you’ll encounter during the story quest "Jackdaw's Rest." Talent Points are awarded as you level up, starting at Level 5 and continuing through Level 40, with a maximum of 36 points in total. You can spend points in five categories: Spells, Dark Arts, Core, Stealth, and Room of Requirement. Each branch contains abilities that enhance combat, stealth, or utility, such as Levioso Mastery for pulling nearby enemies, Incendio Mastery for fiery area attacks, or Wiggenweld Potency to improve healing effects. Points are spent when unlocking new talents within these branches, and the trophy will appear once you use your first five points.

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Poppy Sweeting’s full relationship line. Poppy is a Hufflepuff student first met during Beasts Class, where she teaches you how to brush and feed magical creatures. After class, she invites you to accompany her to the forest to meet Highwing, a Hippogriff. You gain her trust by feeding and brushing Highwing. You meet her again during the main quest Fire and Vice after completing the second trial, helping her rescue a dragon at Horntail Hall, which unlocks the bronze The Defender of Dragons trophy. The first side quest in her line, A Dragon Debrief, begins at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade, where she explains that dragons in Horntail Hall may have been collared and possibly connected to Rookwood's Poachers and Ranrok's Loyalists. This quest has been known to be buggy if Professor Weasley’s Assignment hasn’t been completed first. Poached Egg follows, with Poppy explaining that the dragon you freed unknowingly left behind her egg, which you must return. The Poachers’ House Call sends you to her near Hogwarts to investigate how poachers targeted her gran’s house for rare creature research. You and Poppy must retrieve the rare Snidgets, with assistance from Centaurs. In Surprise Meeting, Poppy outlines a plan to rescue the Snidgets in the Forbidden Forest with the help of Dorran, a Centaur. The Centaur and the Stone has you recover the Scholars’ Moonstone from a cave near Irondale and place it in a henge, prompting Mooncalves to leave a symbol. It’s in the Stars has you and Dorran interpret the symbol to locate the Snidgets. A Bird in the Hand requires you to solve a puzzle to open a secret door, confront the Poachers, and secure the Snidgets under the Centaurs’ care. Finally, Poppy Blooms concludes the storyline in the Great Hall, where you check in with Poppy. The trophy unlocks once you finish this final interaction.

How to Unlock

You will unlock this by completing the final tier of any challenge category, and this will almost certainly happen naturally as you play. Challenges are tied to combat, exploration, quests, and the Room of Requirement, and you will constantly make progress just by engaging with the game normally. The easiest way to guarantee this early is by focusing on something simple like defeating enemies or completing quests, since those rack up quickly without any extra effort. By the time you finish the story, you will likely have several of these done, so this is more of a passive trophy than something you need to chase.

How to Unlock

This silver side quest trophy is earned by beating Imelda Reyes’ times in all broom races. Imelda is a competitive Slytherin who challenges you to prove your flying skills. Although you may meet her earlier if you’re in the same house, the races cannot be attempted until you have your own broom. After the first flying lesson, it is suggested you buy one, which triggers the quest "Flight Test". Head to Spintwitches Sporting Needs in Hogsmeade to purchase a broom for 600G. All brooms perform equally, so pick whichever you like. The shopkeeper, Albie Weekes, will then ask you to participate in Imelda’s three time trials to provide feedback on the brooms. To beat her records, focus on the main rings in each course. Missing a ring incurs a time penalty, and while smaller yellow rings provide speed boosts, they are optional. Some drifting is normal and will be mentioned by Mr. Weekes after the trial. Trial 1, "Time Trials", starts at the Quidditch Pitch where you must fly through 22 rings in under 2:20:53. After completing this trial, return to Mr. Weekes to wait for the next broom upgrade. Trial 2, "Sweeping the Competition", is triggered via Owl Post after completing Percival Rackham's Trial. Purchase the broom upgrade for 1000G and fly through 20 rings in Irondale within 2:26:22. Return to Mr. Weekes again for feedback. Trial 3, "The Sky Is the Limit", becomes available after the main story quest "It's All Gobbledegook". Buy the final upgrade for 4000G and race along Clagmar Coast, flying through 29 rings in under 2:42:42. You may unlock Bronze Coasting Along on the way if you haven’t already. The trophy unlocks after beating Imelda’s time and speaking to her, and you will also report back to Mr. Weekes to complete the side quest.

How to Unlock

You will unlock this during the quest The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and the Loom after upgrading a piece of gear for the first time. At the end of the quest, you will gain access to the Loom in the Room of Requirement, where you can enhance your gear using materials from magical beasts. Simply apply an upgrade or trait to any piece of gear and the trophy will pop. It is a simple introduction to the upgrade system, but it is worth using regularly since better gear makes a noticeable difference in tougher fights.

How to Unlock

This bronze trophy is earned by reaching the Headmaster's Upper Study, the highest accessible point in the castle. To get there, first complete the story quest "The Caretaker's Lunar Lament," which unlocks the Demiguise Statues sidequest "The Man Behind the Moons." Deliver all 22 Demiguise Statues to Gladwin Moon to learn Alohomora III. Next, complete the story quest "Niamh Fitzgerald's Trial," which gives access to the Trophy Room Floo Flame. From there, make your way back to the Headmaster's Office, unlock the rightmost door on the left, ascend the stairs around the tower, unlock another door, and climb one final staircase. The trophy unlocks automatically as soon as you enter the Upper Study.

This bronze trophy is earned by using Flipendo ten times to knock over cows, whether it’s ten different cows or the same unlucky one repeatedly. You won’t get anything but the trophy, though Poppy might send a howler if she’s watching. To learn Flipendo, you need to complete "Professor Garlick's Assignment 2," which occurs around the midpoint of the story. This assignment involves growing and harvesting Fluxweed and acquiring all three combat plants—Chinese Chomping Cabbage, Venomous Tentacula, and Mandrake—and using them simultaneously. Fluxweed Stem can be purchased from vendors like The Magic Neep, but since you need to grow it, buy the Fluxweed Stem Seeds for 350G and a Large Pot Spellcraft for 1000G from Tomes and Scrolls. Conjure a Potting Table with a Large Pot in the Room of Requirement, and the plant will take 15 minutes to grow. For the combat plants, purchase or grow them: Chinese Chomping Cabbage seeds cost 600G, Venomous Tentacula seeds 1050G, and Mandrake seeds 800G. In combat, open your Tool Wheel with L1, select each plant in turn, and finish with the Mandrake to complete the assignment and unlock Flipendo for this trophy.

How to Unlock

This bronze side quest trophy is earned by completing Natsai Onai’s full relationship line. Natsai, or Natty, is a transfer student from the African Wizarding school, Uagadou. You first meet her during the story quest Charms Class, where the professor sets up a game called Summoner’s Court pairing you with her. Afterward, you spend time with her as she prepares a special assignment. The first quest, The Girl from Uagadou, has you meet her in Lower Hogsfield at a new Floo Flame. She is concerned about threats from Ranrock and Rookwood and wants to strategize with you. In The Lost Child, she learns of a wizard being harassed by Theophilus Harlow. You investigate with her, track the missing boy Archie Bickle to an encampment, and rescue him to return to his mother. Natty agrees to help because taking out Harlow’s threats will weaken his organization. The quest Mum’s the Word reveals that Natty’s mother, Professor Onai, may have discovered their activities. Natty explains she is an Animagus—a gazelle—and has been using this ability to investigate Harlow and Rookwood. Note that this quest can be buggy, sometimes removing itself from the quest log. To avoid this, make sure you’ve completed Professor Weasley’s Assignment before starting it. In A Basis for Blackmail, Natty sends an Owl Post and meets you outside Hogsmeade to gather intel on Harlow. Speaking with Mr. Bickle’s associates—Daisy Rabe, Otto Dibble, and Agabus Philbert—provides details on Harlow’s intimidation. When she goes missing, you use Revelio to track her to a secret hideout beneath the Hog’s Head Inn. Optional objectives include finding Agabus Philbert’s book of poems in a chest to the right of the arena and Otto Dibble’s love letter on a table to the left. Grief and Vengeance continues in the Great Hall, where Natty opens up about losing her father, also an Animagus, and her desire for justice against Harlow. In Finding Focus, she shares her determination to prevent others from suffering the same fate as her father. Harlow’s Last Stand has you meet her near Manor Cape and confront his ambush with her. She is injured during the fight, and you are automatically teleported to the Hospital Wing. Acting on Instinct concludes the story, where you visit Natty in the hospital and thank her for protecting you. The trophy unlocks after this final interaction.

How to Unlock

This silver trophy unlocks when you upgrade any piece of gear three times. Gear upgrades become available after completing the main quest "The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and the Loom," which introduces magical creatures whose materials are used for crafting. Gear that boosts offense can gain defense through upgrades, and gear that boosts defense can gain offensive bonuses. Each upgrade requires materials from captured beasts. The first upgrade uses common materials like Puffskein or Mooncalf fur. The second upgrade adds mid-rarity items such as Fwooper feathers or Niffler fur. The final, third upgrade requires five different materials including rare ones: Unicorn Hair, Graphorn Horns, and a Phoenix Feather. The Unicorn can be found in the Forbidden Forest near the Upper Hogsfield Floo Station, the Graphorn is captured during the fourth trial of "San Bakar's Trial" near the southeast of Clagmar Coast, and the Phoenix is obtained in the "Phoenix Rising" side quest from Deek.
