Split Fiction Trophy Roadmap

EARLY GAME

Start by simply playing through the story and enjoying the co-op chaos. There are no missable trophies, and Split Fiction has a very generous chapter select broken into plenty of sub-chapters, so nothing needs to be perfect on your first run.

That said, you can save yourself some cleanup by exploring each area properly. Keep an eye out for benches for Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties and Side Stories for Bookworms. Mio and Zoe will often call out nearby Side Stories through dialogue, so if one of them starts talking about something off the main path, it is usually worth checking out.

MID GAME

As you move through the middle chapters, keep doing Side Stories whenever you find them and sit on any benches you come across. Most of the miscellaneous trophies are tied to specific moments, minigames, or Side Stories, so natural exploration will knock out a surprising amount without you even trying.

You do not need to stress about missing anything. If a trophy does not pop during your first visit to an area, keep going. Both players unlock trophies at the same time, so you are not creating twice the cleanup for the same requirement.

LATE GAME

Finish the story and unlock BFF’s naturally along the way. By this point, you should have a decent amount of progress toward Bookworms and Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties if you explored instead of sprinting through every chapter.

Do not worry if some of the more unusual trophies are still missing, such as Potion Chef, Chair the Load, You Are Not a Robot, One Bird, Three Stones, Cold Potato, Tazed and Confused, Locked Up, Huffing and Puffing, Robot Revolution, Feed Me, A Friendly Push, Rose’s Best Friend, We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat, Are We the Baddies?, The Cake is Not a Lie, Snaaaaaaaaake, or Goin’ Whole Hog. These are exactly what chapter select is for.

TROPHY CLEANUP AND EXTRA TIPS

After finishing the story, use chapter select to clean up everything you missed. The best order is to finish all remaining Side Stories first for Bookworms, then revisit benches for Sisters: A Tale of Two Besties, and finally knock out the miscellaneous trophies in their specific sub-chapters.

One of the more notable cleanup tasks is the Chapter 4 shooter minigame, where you need to coordinate with your partner and reach 1,000 points. This is much easier when both players focus on scoring efficiently instead of treating it like two separate solo runs.

If you are playing with someone who has already completed the game, chapter select can be used to rush through the remaining trophy requirements extremely quickly. You can technically turn the Platinum into a speed-cleanup exercise, but this is one of those games that is much better when you actually play the whole thing together first.

The Platinum is very forgiving: no missables, shared trophy unlocks, strong chapter select, and plenty of overlap between exploration and cleanup. The hardest part is not the trophies.

It is deciding which one of you gets blamed when the co-op plan immediately falls apart.
